    Sub: A request seeking replacement of the Exide Battery vide Sl. No. AZA8B0066, sold on 21/02/2018 by Agarwal Automobiles, Janiganj, Silchar.

    Dear Sir,
    For my vehicle make Ecco Van vide Reg. No.AS-11E5018, I made purchase the aforesaid Battery on 21/02/2018 in cash from Agarwal Automobiles, Janiganj, Silchar, District Cachar (Ref. Invoice no.Ch-1697) while the installation of the same is done in the vehicle found defective. Thereafter a complain loss with the dealer i.e, Agarwal Automobiles and the Battery Was returned back on 14/03/2018 to the seller along with Rs.50/- as service charge.
    After one week the said Battery was delivered to me on the part of seller stating that it is tested O.K. but after taking back while re-installation done the same defects detected, as a result on 26/03/2018 the said Battery was again return back to the seller, asking replacement of the same.
    In the circumstance I am compelled to bring the matter before the companies notice for appropriate remedy as I have been suffering continuous damage which is irreparable due to non movement of my said vehicle for which the Battery was purchased, moreover, the seller Agarwal Automobiles, on its parts is unable to provide efficient service. If the problem has not been resolved by the replacement done, the circumstances may compel me to institute a suit before the Consumer Forum asking compensation for the overall damage caused to me, this is for your kind i formation and necessary action.

      I am buy activa 3g battery (Exide 1204cb ex no 76d-62 q870855) from real battery corporation (Add. 558, nana peth, near petrol pump, pune-411002 tel[protected] dtd.01/05/2016 as per warranty battery not working fine so i was gave to replacement to your dealer dtd. 25/03/2018 as per dealer confirmation we have received this battery within 10 days but still am not receiving any replacement & also dealer told me please wait for more days more days.

      Now my patience is over. Am not request you am strictly warn you if am not getting my battery next 24 hours so will take legal action against you. This responsivity total on your company.

      Take this note seriously and short out this issue asap.

        Purchased on 05/01/2017 from remex battery works 68 vivekananda road, kolkata - 6. Battery damaged within 15th months, and shop keeper denied to entertain the claim shop keeper also rudely behaved with us. The scan copy of purchased invoice & warranty card attached herewith. Lastly we thrown out the battery and purchased another new amaron battery.

          We are using exide battery and ups, from last 2yr, and last week he had
          found some over heating problem with exide battery, and we had call service engineer to check up, He told we have to this battery to our customer care, for check up, so we agreed & taken & went, last 2 days back he came with new battery, and hes telling, this battery does not have any warranty, i[censored] want warranty for that u have to pay extra money, our battery was having 3yr warranty and still 6 moths reaming, but also your service engineer taken 1400rs from me, please read and replay, last week i registers complaint, but still there is a no replay from ur side, dont play with custumer money, and dont try to make us fool, i want tat 1400rs to b refund, otherwise i will rise the complaint against exide battery company

            We had purchased Exide battery and ups .. with 3 yr warranty.. now battery is 2.5yr old and 5 days before we found tat battery getting heat .. so we had called service engineer and he taken and went.. while taking he told today (Saturday) it will reach u back.. now he's telling it will reach on Wednesday.. and also he s asking 1200rs service charge... What is this .. ?? Under warranty product we need to pay 1200rs ..?? And also.. not committed delivery.. please deliver the product before coming Monday

              Ever since we purchased these battries excide has refused to provide an level of service. My father is a retired air force officer. And he has tried his best to get somebody to come and service these battries.
              No warranty card was provided. We where told everything is online. Enter the serial number for any warranty claims.
              We tried calling exide shop which sold it to us [protected] they promised to send somebody but now they are not even taking our calls.
              This circus has been going on for months.
              Never thought a company like excide would behave in such an unprofessional manner.

                Sir I, m really very disappointed by your product, I have filed so many complaints to Amritsar Head Mr. Harsharan Singh from where I have purchased Automative EXIDE Battery from PUNJAB MOTOR STORE, but no action was taken . Even the staff members are least bothered to the customer complaints and take us casually . They have no manners to deal with customers .
                Also when I phoned the customer care, they are like we, ll repair your battery or we, ll replace your battery ...but no needful action was taken.
                After making so many efforts Mr. Harsharan Singh came on phone and affirmed me replace the battery but they are providing me an old inverter battery which was manufactured on 14th APRIL 2017., which is an old model, which is not done . By doing this you people are loosing your customers.
                I need new battery and I have full right to claim a new battery because I have purchased the battery inverter dated 1st NOVEMBER 2016 which has gaurantee period of three years . so please do the needful.

                  I bought exide mred 35l on 30.10.2017 bearing snoa4i7b035047. From the date of purchase, if my car is idle for 7 days battery is becoming dead. Each time the battery is dead, i used to call the service agent exide dealer from whom i bought the battery. He will bring spare battery to boost my car battery to start. After 4 to 5 kms drive the battery comes to it's normal state. This process costs 150 rs. Till now i spent 11 times like this. Raised a complaint with exide customer care and the complaint no is sapa00014649v116. Better guys stay away from exide.

                    Hi team,

                    My battery serial no. Is 10g[protected] and im series is 10000.

                    I raised a first complaint about battery on 25th october 2017 with reference ref no: ejha00011446v165 because battery was not lasting for more than 2 hours.

                    Service engineer has visited our house and asked us to put water on it. Even after that battery was not working.

                    After waiting for his next visit again, i raised a complaint on 13 january 2018 with complaint number ejha00014505v171 and service engineer has finally declared the battery as dead.

                    I went to the dealer for its replacement but after taking over a month around, he is not replacing the battery.

                    Can you please check and help me.

                    Sir, i have notified them so many times, but no action has been taken from their side and after some point of time, they will close your complaint.
                    I have exide inverter battery purchased 1 year back even after charging completely it is not giving power backup of atleast 2hour. Battery is under warranty. Please replace it.

                      When i was searching for a inverter installation contact, i found the contact in google i. E., suma located in beeramguda, hyderabad. I called her to setup inverter at my home in sangaredd (Medak -502001) and they have installed the inverter with exide battery (Tube master tm500). Its was good all over last month and suddenly it stopped charging the battery and power was getting off.

                      And then i contacted exide customer care and a lodged a complaint on 24-feb-2018 (Sapa00013772v503) and asked for service check.

                      Service engineer came and said as it is under warranty of 18 months, and i can get a foc replacement for the battery. He told that it need warranty card for that. Then i realized the warranty card, i didn't have the warranty card, because i never thought i would be in this situation. After all its a exide battery right.

                      When i tried to reach the person whom i got battery installed, that number is no more reachable, and i come to know that they have closed there business.
                      Now my problem got doubled.

                      But i believed exide company takes care of and problem and its quality. As cant unknow the product it manufactured. And i took help of customer care and as suggested by them i took battery to the exide dealer (Vidith powers) hoping he can help me to replace my battery, but he want an assurance from exide to ship for replacement.

                      Below are the details
                      The manufacturing date of battery is apr 2016,
                      I got it installed on jun 2016.
                      I am facing issue since end of jan 2018.

                      And i believe my battery is still under warranty. And i need a replacement for my battery. Please hoping for a positive response from your side.

                            I have received sms from vk-eilwms on 8th february 2018 to collect my relacement battery under claim no ar-mum7995131/srno.3d7g027396 after 5 days of the receipt of sms. It is regretting to state that the dealer has till date not given the battery for the reason that there is a shortage of battery and the battery has not been received from the company till date. I have been regularly following up with him. But the answer remains the same since last 20 days. Is there any responsible person from your side, who would assist me in this matter.                             Hi,

                            My name is Anjan Chatterjee. I have bought a Honda X-Blade on 21st of October 2018 under my wife's name i.e. Yashika Vijay from Prensons Honda, Ranchi. The battery got dead during the lockdown. The battery covers 18 months of guarantee which ended in April 2020. However, due to complete lockdown I couldn't claim the guarantee since, the Service Center was closed. Now, the Service Center has resumed work so, I have claimed the guarantee and the claim ref id is RAN14290428 SrNo M7I8O595471. I have got a message on 20th of June 2020 which states the guarantee has been void. I would request Exide to please consider the guarantee since, the guarantee got void during complete lockdown and that's why I could not claim it on time.

                              My battery warranty claim no ptl7939387 srno m2c7n453083 is defective. I had visited the bajaj showroom rajpura for the battery replacement and everytime your company returned the defective battery without changing it due to which my bike is not starting. I request you to change the battery or i appeal my request to higher authorities or consumer court.

                                I have bought an exide battery on 20/5/2017 from bombay battery and inverter situated at mahindra park, opp. Fruit mandi (Azadpur), d-33. However, after 4 months i was facing issue as the self start button used to work 1 time out of 10, although, the horn was working fine. I raised the issue and submitted my battery to wazirpur, lawrence road branch via my dealer on 25/11/2017. I was told that if there will be any issue then my battery will be replaced but they gave a cold response and said that my battery is okay. Just after 10 days i received my battery i faced the same issues again. I bought especially it for self start purpose as it helps in crowded area as well as in traffic. I was trying from last november to visit nearest exide service center but i am as busy as bee, so, unable to find out the time. Please tell me if something can be done from your side.

                                I am expecting a prompt and favorable reply.

                                      Zsco-mred35l battery with sr. No.-a2e7b022485 bought on 27/09/17 stopped functioning on 13/01/18. Complaing to my dealer vip auto centre/vip road (Dealer code50144), kolkata-700059 it was taken away by an exide person for recharging inspite of my repeated request of replacement with a new one. It was refixed with a decision 'battery found ok' on 17/01/18 vide crn no. Tr/ex/cal/7858506. On 28/01/18 it stopped on a crowded road & i am in a embarrassing situation. On 29th i requested to change it with a new one but was refused until it is declared defective in dealer's assessment.

                                        When i was first time bought the battery, it was working well only for 1 year. Later the battery was draining within short time of period even though the charge is full.
                                        This dealer advised to us, there was a problem in battery which they can’t fix the problem.

                                        Based on the dealer suggestion, we have exchanged an old battery and bought new battery with same dealer. But he is not given bill and seal of the dealer.
                                        He said, if any problem no need to contact customer care, i can contact directly contact to him. Based on that, we have also bought the product.
                                        Later, just 2 weeks back, we had a same issues in new battery also.

                                        We have been trying to reach the dealer more than 2 weeks but he is not attending my calls and he has blocked my number in his mobile.
                                        I couldn’t able to reach him, even i have sent message, whatsapp chat and trying to contact whatever i can do.

                                        The bad thing, he is seeing all my messages, missed calls, chat but not replying to me. This is really not good. Is this right way to treat the customers?
                                        At least, he would have replied single message. But, he is not considering customers pain and problems.

                                        This dealer is one of the worst dealer which never ever seen in my life. Because of this dealer name sasikumar, exide is going to lose lots many customers.
                                        This person sasikumar is spoiling exide customer service quality and brand name. We already lose our hope with exide battery. We have around 8 flats in my apartments.
                                        How can i recommend this product to other my neighborhoods?

                                        The person sasikumar is sales duplicate product with using exide brand name. I am suspecting, this is person is not authorized exide dealer and cheating unknown peoples.
                                        We lose our hope with exide products.

                                        Request you to please take strict action against this person sasikumar and prevent to cheating peoples. Or else, you will loss big business.
                                        And also, ask him to revert me soon. I hope, you will take necessary action against this compliant and help to valuable customers.

                                        If i am not getting any updates from sasikumar, then i don’t have any other choice. Need to escalate this with consumer court.

                                        Just after 13 months o[censored]se the battery is having a back up of hardly one hour
