I have purchased the exide battery (Dry cell) for my bike pulsar 150 on 15 jul 17. But yesterday it is niether living start nor showing any display. I have to use kick to start my bike. My battery type is fxlo-12xl7b-b. I m very dissapointed from exide service. What is the use of warranty of 04 yrs? Very bad service from exide. I will not recommend any body to use exide battery.

    I purchased an exide battery sr no a3e6e002605 3e62, type invamore 1500 on 04/06/16 from exide authorized dealer ms sri jayalaxmi enterprises.
    The warranty on the battery is for 36 months.
    About 20 days back the inverter stopped working & on inspection it was found that the battery has discharged completely. I therefore dialed the dealer for replacement of battery, he asked me to dial the customer care number of exide batteries. Which i did about 15 days back, the cc registered my complaint & the regd no given was sapa 00006525u169. I was told that a service engineer will contact shortly, i waited for about 3 days since there was no response i called in again, after this call a service engg visited my house & after inspection told me that he is helpless as he can't take the battery along with him, i insisted that he either replace the battery or get this fully charged, but the did not relent, instead he told me to pursue with the dealer only, i kept telling him that the dealer will not act & you are trying to pass your responsibility to the dealer!! He left with an assurance that the dealer will attend to this. Now its more than 7 days since i am following up with the dealer & he is giving one or the other excuse for not coming over. Today when i shouted on him he told me that the charges for servicing the battery will be rs 500.
    Now is this what is expected of exide, i feel cheated. I have been an exide customer form ages, this experience has shown me the true face of exide, it seems they are simply not bothered to provide customer satisfaction, or they have become so arrogant that they simply don't care!!
    This was the last battery which i & my family has ever purchased from exide.

      My exide battery is onsite warranty of 36 month. My complain number is ejha00006823v183 dated 01.08.2017. For battery problem even i called many time service engineer but service engineer not attained my problem.. My home adress is out side bokaro city it is far from 22km far from chas bokaro. Village:gopibathpur, po: kumardaga, bokaro, jharkhand. Service engineer not attained my problem due to outside the city. But when i purchased battery that time exide dealer told they cover onsite warranty any where in india. Therefore it is requested to you kindly take any action regarding above.

        Dear sir,

        I had purchased exide battery (Model: 12 xr 7b-b) with 36 months warranty, for my bike (Honda - unicorn), on dt: 16.12.2014. But i felt several problems of battery till 1 month, for which i went to your dealer m/s pioneer power solutions, 259, okilbagh, cuttack road, bhubaneswar, odisha, on dt: 01.07.2017, from whom i had purchased the battery. They tested the battery and kept with them for checkup. I had also informed the same to your customer care on toll free, they also advised me to leave the battery with the dealer and your service engineer will check the battery and revert. The complain ref. No is : eora00003049v105.

        But on dt: 11.07.2017, i again went to the dealer to get my battery, as neither your service engineer not your said dealer contacted me. But the dealer simply took out the old battery and tested again in front of me and told me that the battery is not working.

        Sir, is this the type of service you are providing your customer? I am facing too much problem without light and horn while riding my bike. Then i again contacted your customer care with the above ref. No. And informed the negligence of dealer in providing me proper service support. Your customer care told me to contact your service centre at cuttack. But instead the helping me, your cuttack service centre too told me to tell the said dealer to send the battery to service centre. Yet the dealear have not sent the battery to your service centre at cuttack, for further check up.

        Sir, why i should do all this, while your customer care is there, your service centre is there and also your dealer is there and responsible for providing proper support to a customer.

        Sir, i don't want to replace the battery, i need my battery problem to be solved. Kindly do the needful, so that i can get repaired my battery, as i had purchased exide being a renowned company, while other's are there with lesser price too.

          I purchased exide bty ir 500 inva red from motor india gopalganj, bihar on 08.02.2016 receipt no 1208. With 3yrs replacement warranty but now in aug2017 it is not taking load of one fan &two cfl for even one hour after full charge. Pl replace. Bty type fe01-invared500+ 3wg[protected]. O/p voltage goes down within one hour back up supply & not taking load.

            Dear exide team,

            Very disappointed to escalate this warranty matter from your dealer.

            Actually i procured exide make battery from your dealer mitali sales corporation, naroda-ahmedabad

            I go through your dealer for claim my warranty, but they denied and told me our battery is o. K. Your vehicle is faulty.!!!

            After my too much discussion with him, after too much requesting, they ready to charge my battery, literally i feel that i am beggar!!! At that time..

            But after 4-5 days battery voltage again goes down.

            I go to your dealer again and they told me that we can charge battery for you otherwise battery didn't have any problem we can not change your battery.
            Again they told me our battery is o. K.

            Also, behavior of your dealer is very very dirty. They have lots of attitude. I told him that i will go to direct company, and they told me do whatever you want i dont care.
            Seriously, i am surprised!!!

            I didn't expect this type of service from exide industries. And really surprised by behavior of your dealer and way of talking with customer. Your dealer totally talk with me and my father with bad manners.

            This time i totally denied to charge my battery and go back to my home.
            What kind of dealer you select. Even they didn't take seriously to your company also.

            I just requesting you to that please help me to change my battery because it is in under warranty. And i faced struglled due to battery. Also talk to your dealer and teach him how to communicate with customer.

            I want solution of my matter within 5 working days and i hope my problem will short out at this stage and i dont have take further steps to change my battery.

              We have complaint on 11 august 2017 to replace the batteries and we receive the mail that batteries will be replaced on 16th august 2017 but still no one came at my place. After calling so many time to the engineer he told me that stock is not there and it will take 7 more days to replace the batteries. Is this the right way to give the service to the customer. Because of batteries not replaced by the engineer we are facing so many difficulties. Please lodge a complaint to exide industries.

                I have purchase can inverter tubular battery in the moenth of february 2016 but it doesn't get giving proper backup as its rating
                I have complained about the problem to the customer care many times but no one technician visit for service as promised by the company.

                  Respected Sir, On 11.08.2016, I have purchased a Hero Bike from Sai Motors, Makum Road, near Shivdham Temple, Tinsukia-786146. Assam and along with the Hero Bike a EXIDE BATTERY come with it bearing BATTERY NO. M7G6Q402009. But I am sorry to inform you that since 12.08.2017 the said EXIDE BATTERY stopped charging and malfunctioning. On 14.08.2017, over phone, I inform the matter to the Sai Motors, Makum from which I purchased the vehicle, but they refused to exchange the said EXIDE BATTERY by telling me that mandatory 1 one year of warranty upon the said battery is over. As per my knowledge, all new EXIDE BATTERY COMES WITH 2 YEARS WARRANT. Therefore I request your good self to enquire the matter and do the needful in this regard

                    We have purchased 150 ah exide battery on 09/03/2016 from pragati micro controls, dharwad, karnataka state for our 40 kva generator.
                    Details are as follows:
                    Battery 150 ah
                    The battery warranty is 24 months
                    Supplier: pragati micro controls, dharwad, karnataka state
                    Bill no. 4162 date: 03/03/2016
                    The battery is not working hence we are unable to start the generator. We have complained to the vendor and he told to contact exide care.                       I purchase exide bike battery on 26/09/2016 it is installed properly Honda Activa Bike, But on dated 14/07/2017 the battery get blast and my vehicle get fired totally. During this blast my vehicle get damaged completely. Also I launch FIR in police station during investigation by police it was found that the vehicle was fired due to explosion of battery.
                      It is my request you to insured my vehicle on be half of exide and reimbursed my damaged vehicle .

                        I have purchased the new exude gel magic 150ah on 22/07/2017. The backup for said battery is not available even for 5 minutes.

                        I was not able to use this battery and i have already raised this compliant earlier but no one contact me to fix this issue.

                        I request you to replace this battery as soon as possible. If you are not willing to replace the battery, kindly refund the amount for battery and take back your battery.

                        I am really not happy with service you provided.

                          I would like to bring an important matter to your notice.. We had informed exide customer care on 29th of july about our inverter repairement, which went out of order on that very day. They provided us a complaint number : ewba00018066v468 and informed us that their service engineer would contact us shortly, but 5 days have passed till date and they neither contacted us nor has sent any service engineer to our resident.
                          We are facing a huge problem without inverter while power gets cut off.

                          So, i would kindly request you to look forward to the matter and take neccessary steps at the earliest.

                              I have purchased a it500 exide tubeler battery along with 1450va exide ups from jain enter prisers rayaga state odisha in the month of april after one month the battery was completely discharged no action has been taken by the company till to date. Now i have purchased another battery of other company but the exide ups is not functioning properly day to day my another battery is going to damage. Several time have registred in toll free help line. The exide company is not providing any service. Warrenty period of battery is for years & the ups is two years but purchase of goods after one month the exide company is not giving any service and cheating to the costumer.

                                    I had given my car at the service centre at longia motors rashbehari kolkata west bengal. They had lodged a complaint n 12th july. Today on 15th july the inspection is done which is after 3 days, and i have been informed that the battery is not working and it would take two days to replace the same. I am very disappointed with such service.

                                      Worst battery and service in batteries...

                                      मैंने exide बैटरी उसकी विश्वसनीयता पर खरीद कर शायद सबसे गलत फैसला लिया है और आप सभी से अनुरोध करता हूं कि कृपया अपनी मेहनत की कमाई को इस झूठी कंपनी के प्रोडक्ट खरीदने में ना लगाए ।

                                      मैंने इंवा ट्यूबलर बैटरी सीतापुर उत्तर प्रदेश से लष्मी बैटरीज से दीपक नाम के दुकानदार ([protected]) से जून 2014 में खरीदी ।
                                      2016 में बैटरी में बैकअप न मिल पाने के कारण मैंने शिकायत कर दुकान पर से उसे चेक कराने को बोला तो उन्होंने उसे मंगवाकर 2 दिन बाद यह कहकर वापस कर दिया कि ये ठीक हो गई है जबकि कुछ ही दिन में फिर वही समस्या आने लगी । जब दोबारा मैंने बात की तो बोले कुछ दिन चलाइये फिर देख लेंगे और जब मैंने उसको वारंटी में बदलवाने को बोला तो उन्होंने टाल दिया। अब जब बैटरी बिल्कुल ही जलने लगी और उसका पानी 3 दिन में ही पूरा सूखने लगा तो मैंने दुकान पर जाके शिकायत की तो उन्होंने उसे देख कर यह कह कर मना कर दिया कि यह अब खराब हो चुकी है और अब इसकी वारंटी निकल चुकी है, मैं कुछ नही कर सकता, मेरे पुनः कहने पर की यह शिकायत मैंने कई बार बोली तो आपने इसे यह कह कर छोड़ दिया कि यह ठीक है और अब जब वारंटी निकल गई तो खराब हो गई ।
                                      दोस्तो इनका और exide का यह गैर जिम्मेदाराना रवैया आपकी गाढ़ी कमाई तो बर्बाद करता ही है साथ ही आपकी जान के साथ भी खिलवाड़ है । इसलिए कृपया खुद को सुरक्षित रखते हुए ऐसे कंपनी के चक्कर मे न पड़े जो स्वयं और अपने डीलर्स के साथ आपकी मेहनत की कमाई और विश्वास के साथ खिलवाड़ कर रहे हैं ।

                                        The Battery is not working properly and we are often facing problems. We purchased the Battery for home use from a dealer in Faridabad (Rohilla Electrical Works, Shop No. SC/67, NIT, Faridabad-121001, Haryana; Mobile: [protected]) last year on 28 June 2016, for Rs. 9, 000/- (Rupees Nine Thousand Only). We made a request on Exide helpline number [protected] on 01 July 2017. Nobody came till 07 July 2017.

                                        I called the Exide helpline number again on 07 July to highlight the matter and follow up on my service request. The person who attended my call today (07 July 2017) gave me a number in Jaipur[protected] and told me that the problem will be solved after I call up this number. When I called up the number in Jaipur, the person who picked up gave me another number ([protected]: Name-Mukesh). I called up Mukesh and he asked me to forward the complaint number and he promised that somebody will attend the complaint by today evening. Somebody finally came on 08 July 2017.

                                        He shared that the battery needs to be taken to the service centre for 7 days. When we requested him to give a replacement battery so that the house doesn't remain in darkness when regular electricity supply is not available, he refused to make any arrangement. He also refused to give a receipt in case he takes away the Battery for resolution of the problem. However, no help came forward.

                                        The problem remains unresolved. It is indeed shocking that a reputed Company like Exide gives such poor quality service to its customers.
                                        Exide Industries customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
