I PURCHASED A SF EXIDE INVERTER BATTERY ,ON 06 /10/2010 FROM M/S POWER PAK OTTAPALAM, A DEALER FOR THE ABOVE MENTIONED BATTERY.THE SAME STARTED GIVING TROUBLE ABOUT 7 MONTHS BACK.THE SAME WAS TAKEN BACK BY THE DEALER ON 15 SEP 2012 ALONG WITH THE GUARANTEE CARD,AND SENT TO THEIR MAIN DEALER AT ERNAKULAM THROUGH THEIR TRICHUR BRANCH.AS NO ACTION TO REPLACE THE BATTERY WAS FORTHCOMING AFTER ONE MONTH ,I TOOK UP THE MATTER WITH THE LOCAL DEALER. HE INFORMED THAT THE SAME IS LYING AT THEIR TRICHUR GODOWN AND WILL BE REPLACED WITHIN ONE WEEK.HE PROVIDED A STAND BY BATTERY FOR THE TIME BEING.AS NO PROGRESS WAS SEEN,FOR 3 MONTHS, I WARNED HIM THAT I WOULD APPROACH THE CONSUMER COURT. AS THE COMPANY HAS NOT SENT THE BATTERY TO ERNAKULAM IN-SPITE OF HIS REGULAR REMINDERS ,HE GAVE ME THE COMPLAINT NUMBER KHO 00005080 DATED 25/9/2012,AND ASKED ME TO CONTACT MR SUBASH,THE SALES OFFICER([protected]),WHO GAVE ME THE MAIL ID [protected]@exide.co.in AND ASKED ME TO SEND THEM A MAIL.I SENT THE MAIL TO THEM ON 15 NOV 2012 (BY THIS DATE I WAS WITHOUT MY INVERTER BATTERY FOR MORE THAN 3 MONTHS) .IT IS SURPRISING TO NOTE THAT IN-SPITE OF MY COMPLAINT ,THEY DID NOT HAVE THE COURTESY TO EVEN SEND ME A REPLY.A LADY RANG ME UP THE NEXT DAY TO ASK ME FOR THE CODE NO OF THE COMPLAINT .I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND AS TO HOW A WELL KNOWN COMPANY LIKE EXIDE CAN TREAT ITS CUSTOMER IN THIS MANNER ,EVEN WHEN THE COMPLAINT IS WITHIN THE GUARANTEE PERIOD .IF A BATTERY IS LYING UNCHARGED IN THEIR TRICHUR GO DOWN FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS ,IT WILL BECOME USELESS EVEN WITHOUT ANY DEFECT.     Purchased a car Maruti zen Exide max Battery on[protected] mfg code ilia slno-440028 from Electronic
    House, Mirzapur chowk, Darbhanga,Bihar. Defects arises in charging & starting of car.When checked
    it found that out of 6 cell one is not charging & shows zero charge, whereas other 5 cell is fully charged.
    Dealer however received the Battery but without replacement he wants to deliver with repairing.
    When its function failed within 2 months how it is possible to repair it locally.
    No service Battery is Temp provided,causes setback of my daily work and loss of huge amount in conveyance.

      Respected Sir,

      I'v bought Exide Home Batteries (Exide Inva Tubular IT500i), from Exide distributor named as "Brother's Enterprises" in Kalyan (E), Thane, Maharashtra during the time of purchase the distributor represented and promoted the features and specification of the battery so well (specially the indicator system present in the unit) that I purchased it for an amount of 13,000 with buybacking my old battery (Exide 1800 plus).

      There was another battery available for 11,000 without indicator system.

      Now after paying 2000 extra on this model ( Exide Inva Tubular IT500i) just for the indicator was the biggest mistake what I did, as the indicator is not functioning as mentioned in the user manual moreover I already logged a complaint with your company for the same issue for which your technician visited my house and tested the battery, he had provided me test result mentioning that battery indicator is just for an assumption purpose for the customer and is not completely reliable.

      After paying extra 2000 for the unit which doesn't function as desired (Indicator) and their own employee giving me the suggestion that the indicator is not at all reliable doesn't meet customer satisfaction at all.

      From the time I purchased this battery I,m facing issue with the indicator system.

      Further to explain on this point Exide dealer never educated me any point during the time of purchase that the indicator unit does not comes under the warranty cover of 48 months,

      Moreover if Exide is mentioning that i must have read the warranty details, the warranty card was delivered to me along with the unit in my house and before that nobody explained this point to me neither the company person or the dealer.

      Awaiting for your positive response at the earliest.

        Respected Team,

        I have purchased a battery dated on 08/02/2010 and according to the dealer the warranty would expired on 2014. but few days back when i faced some problem with battery and I visited its service center on where i got the information that the battery i have received it is out of warranty. i am attaching the details of purchasing. There is one more point to be mentioned that the details on warranty card is totally different with the details mentioned on battery. But it was purchased by my father who is no more and the dealer shop is already closed so cant traceable. would request you to please help us as we are facing electricity problem a lot.

          I have bought new exide battery from dealer some times back...but the battery is not giving proper backp from the day 1 . When I logged the complaint with exide, I did not get replacement ..event after lots of follo ups and escalation engineer was visited after 10days and still issue is not resolved..

          Exide does not take it seriously and ball is being through between exide and dealer...

              Bought new FZ last month but battery is defective asked yamaha dealer ..they serviced the battery 2 times but still isue persisting , I went to Exide service centre at Andheri East but the service centre people are just doing time pass there ..though the battery is in warranty as the bike was purchased last month itself but still the Exide Service centre are saying that the battery has no issue . Seriously ?? i mean do they even have a head to give a thoguht why hte hell i will compalin a battery if its not having any fault my auto start is not working and these people are syning after a check ( they have not even replaced the Water or Charged the battery ) and saying its perfect

                I have purchased the Inverter EXIDE Battery INVASAFE 600 from M/S Saurabh electronics and batteries, Near Metro Station, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi - 92 on[protected], the warranty period is 18 months but failed sometime back. I complained to exide customer care service[protected] still within warranty period. Till date nobody attended. Contacted their senior officers also but no effect. Please help for replacement.

                  I am Facing the problem from Exide dealer i have parches A Exide battery Name Ceil Tubular on Date 13.06.2012 ,from a local dealer named M/S MAA SARADA TRADERS ,at/ po;- Brajrajnagar, Dist Jharsuguda.State :- Orissa. TIN.[protected].BATCH no of Battery is 3Yc,SerAl no of battery is 014746.@ 13,000rs.
                  Problem ;- Battery of exide defective within 3 day but Dealler is not ready to change Same attitude is of compony Also.
                  a) by using one celling fan and one CFL Light of 15 Volt total Back-up of Battery is 2 hrs.
                  b) the dealler also personally know the same .hi is not willing to do any thing.
                  c) He also sold me a trolley for Battry and that found Damage at the time of delivery ,but he (Dealler) said that to change it on next
                  week .but he refuse to do the sme now.


                  1)Firstly i said the dealer to send me the best battery from Exide company.But he send me the above mansion batty saying that its the best one.
                  2) 2nd he told me that if any problem occurred he should change the battery within same day ,but now he is refuse to do that by saying that its the responsibility of company,
                  3)he is also using unsocial language withe me .
                  4) he is also cheated me in price of battery & Inverter (Micro tech) both are purchased on same date &Time by the same Store.

                    extreemly rude behaviour of exide batmobile service by worker Mr. Jay Goswami ....when i called exide batmobile service center at rajkot gujrat for giving a start up to my car they excused me rudely with an insulting behaviour that their manager is'nt allowing them to come and give service , when i asked them to get me connected to their manager they refused me by laughing internally i request you to take some actions in this matter.

                      Sir,
                      I had bought an inverter battery of Exide/SF Stan tubular model no.- ST500 on 18/06/2010 from local distributor of SF batteries (Punjab Separators) with a warranty of 48months/4years. This battery is causing problem from last 6 months i.e. it worked good for only 18months/1.5years. I complained about this to the dealer but he did not give any positive response. He sold it giving better service assurances and refused to hear the complaints afterwards. Then we contacted the region head office in Chandigarh and they were also treating like we had not paid them. 23 months warranty of battery is still left and the battery dont even last for more than 1 or 2 hours.

                        Warranty Claim
                        I have purchased a battery ( EXIDE BIKERZ ) for Scooty Pep from FRIENDS Auto spares,nanadhana chennai on 29.11.2011 ( Mfg code 6J13 / Sr.no J14921 ).The battery did not give expected performance due to manufacturing defect & ultimately become non functional during the warranty period.
                        It was returned to the above dealer on 10.0.2010 for replacement under warranty claim. The case was followed-up vigorously but ultimately today he declined the request on the ground that the company is not honoring the warranty and refusing replacement. This is unexpected and unbecoming for a standard company like Exide.
                        You are requested to please advise the dealer ( Under intimation to me) for immediately replacing the battery, as I am not able to use my vehicle resulting in heavy financial loss and physical strain.

                          My institution sunshine kids enterprises purchased a brand new exide battery for an inverter from turbo enterprises kharkhana road next to secunderabad club, secunderabad. last june, 2011 i was shocked to find within a span of 1 year this july that the battery is completely spoilt, not recharhing and the shop keeper told me beyond repair, the only hitch is i have lost the warranty card and hence the shopkeeper is saying nothing can be done and forcing me to buy a new one. I cannot fathom how a worldwide multinational like exide insist on a small card for replacement when all the bills and the money has been paid to the above dealer. I request you to immediately replace the defective battery with a new one as the shopkeeper mr. hamza is giving me all cock and bull stories. where does an innocent consumer go?. Hence please help and revert.

                            I buy the battery no.122m2slc dt 23.06.09 from your authorised dealer named syndicate Motors & Electronics,Ambedkar Road, Ghaziabad but the battery charging problem. First problem creates on dt 10.02.10 from your request it will be changed and that problem occurs now a time I go there to change the battery But they don't change this battery. They tell the guarantee is expired but the time changing the battery they give me fifteen month guarantee and taken 280/- Rupees. Please do the needful.

                                  i had purchased 12 exide batteries on 14.12.2010 ...since then there have been constantly many problems in the batteries..there have been frequently failures in the batteries..i had complaint to the agency..but there is no instant response from the agency..after so many complaints 1 battery had been changed on 11 0ctober 2011 within the guarenty period..after that again there came a problem in the battery..after 6 complaints(lodged in 3 months) 4 of the batteries had been changed in april 2012..i think i have done a big mistake purchasing products of your company..the service you provide is very poor.

                                    i bought exide home used battery on 12.03.2012.
                                    from last month we are getting proper back up.
                                    now the service provider saying that one of the cell charging is weak condition. when i asked to provide the replacement they said wont give for this and all. ask them to use the same battery if again we found the problem come back nu.
                                    pls suggest how to get the replacement for this.

                                      Hi all,
                                      I have complained about regarding my low battery backup. I have received complaint number and name n mobile number of a person who is attending us. Its already one weak. No one attending us. If i call that person he is attending the call. This is ridiculous. Even call centre people not responding properly.. Do not know whom to contact.
