bought 2 new batteries for my diesel 1 ton truck after my 5 year old batteries crapped out ,these were bought in febuary of 2011 ,worked fine till june of 2011 and then suddenly started to lose there charge and would not start my truck .took them back to the doge dealership in my area and they said they failed the load test(DUHH) already new this ,they replaced the batteries at a $70.00 fee of course and then phone me 10 days later to tell me that exide says I froze my batteries in + 20 celcius weather and there is no warranty.

DEAR EXIDE YOU ARE A FRAUD FOR SELLING FAULTY BATTERIES AND HAVE THE NERVE TO TELL PEOPLE THAT ITS ALL ARE FAULT,WHEN CLEARLY YOU HAVE POOR WORKMANSHIP OR PRODUCT GOING INTO YOUR FINAL SALEABLE PRODUCT YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF FOR THIS,IF I WERE SOME POOR SCHMUCK OFF THE STREET AND DID NOT KNOW ANY BETTER ,BUT I AM A MECHANIC AND I KNOW IF A BATTERY HAS BEEN FROZE .TO ME THIS IS A COP OUT WHEN YOU MAKE THE DEALER PHONE ME WHEN HE WELL KNOWS THAT THIS IS BULL*#IT.

AS FOREVER BUYING ANOTHER EXIDE ,KISS MY *SS I WILL MODIFY MY VEHICLE TO FIT OR ACOMODATE ANY OTHER TYPE BATTERY BUT YOURS,, OH BY THE WAY NOW I KNOW WHY YOU POSTED A PROFIT LAST YEAR,AND WERE ABLE TO BY UP OTHER BATTERY MAKERS.


IN CLOSING I GUESS WHAT IM SAYING IS BUYERS BEWARE OF EXIDE THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH ON WARRANTY

[protected]-- Goa-- purchased at Milson Battery ,St.Inez ,Panaji-Goa Owner says Exide people are not co-operating and are not interested in maintaing customer complains- in one word customer comes last as far as complains are concern-- when contacted Mr.Mr.Rahul Nasalpure from mumbai ,n Ajit Prasad service Engineer - Goa -- Blaffed over the complain ,etc . can one afford to replace new bat. with no fault . wen asked for the report -- Ajit refused to give -- this attutude itself is evidence of willfully try to put customers to monetory losses--- Ajit n Rahul even went to an extent saying u do what u want --- we r helpless-- Buy a new battery.... wasting my precious time he left me high n dry.. next option is to proceed for justice in court of law -- to conclude i pray for justice to EXIDE.

      We (Orion Nissan) are authorized dealer of Nissan . Customer complained about the starting trouble and we found the battery faulty. Also called the batmobile service and got the written confirmation.we were given the address of the main office in Vashi and we have given the battery for replacement . we are not given any kind of receipt or any kind of writing confirmation on this. I fail to understand what kind of service is this. tomorrow if they deny of not receiving the battery where would we complain.Being such a big brand and we also as a main dealer are not getting any kind of service battery for the same how do we convence the customer that exide is not giving a authorized dealer a service battery.

      There have also tried calling the seniors of exide batteries but no one is picking up the phone.

        I have given my battery for replace under warrenty period(still 4 months remaining for warrenty period).
        It was working fine before 1and 1/2 month, but suddenly it stops working. As per my mechanic suggestion I have given this for replacement.
        But Company is applying some terms & condition and returing it without replacement.

        I need favour for the same.

          sir, I Ranjan Kanjilal purchased one exide battery INVA SAFE and with that one inverter model no.800VA HUPS/12V Sr No. U1b[protected] on 14 jul 2010.now i m posting this complain from chennai. i m here for my job.but my family is available at there barrackpore.ii purchased that inverter from Sovabazar EXIDE showroom.That time they told me that service eng will come in two weeks to check the servicibility.but no one came .two weeks before my wife suddenly hard one sound from inverter and found that out put supply of current was stopped and "OVERLOAD' word is comming in inverter screen and the top cover of inverter was became very hot.that time input supply was there and blinking of recharge was going on. in that time normal electric supply was available.she informed to customer care next day . they came and within 15mintues they made it serviceble.
          after they went very next day my wife found that again the cover of the inverter became hot and 'overload ' was seen in screen of inverter.she has done once switch on/off then suddenly it starts work.
          people those who came for repair they told that due to fan stopped running the inverter became hot.
          now yesterday on 17th jun 11 at around 7 pm my wife once again hard one small sound from inverter and when she reach near to the inverter found smoke is comming from the inverter.top cover also became heated heavily.
          now it is my kind request to u that as my family is staying along with my small daughter at home in barrackpore pls change the preesnt inverter set immediately by replacing with the new one.pls do not do any repair on the present inverter at home in quick nature.because it is still under warrarenty period and manufacture defect is occured.if any thing goes wrong then nobody will be there to help them out specially in night.

            I have purchased a exide battery 9A with sr. no. 313579 on[protected], which is now total dead as per the Exide service centre people at B-24 Okhla Delhi, and the same exide battery is in the 24th month of its purchase.
            Now is I have purchased the same battethe issue ry @1400/- and as per the warranty card there is 45% discount for the same.
            But authorised dealer of Exide "Smart's Motor Agencies" at new delhi is saying that I have to pay Rs. 1100/- for the same coz the battery is costing 1950/-.
            My first question is if I have purchased the same battery @1400/- before 2 years (proof with bill), then why the exide dealer is saying that the charges is Rs. 1950/-
            2. Why are Exide people doing fun with their customer on the name of warranty?
            I am going to start blogging about exide's type of fun service on all social sites.

            I own a two wheeler kristal On 22.8.2011 I bought a new Exide 12 V Exide ETZ4 bearing no 3011900 from your dealer VIGNESH BATTERY SERVICE292/2, KILPAUK GARDEN ROADCHENNAI 10 For the past 1 month it started giving trouble in starting my bike. The dealer tried thrice by recharging the battery but the charge could not withstand even a single day. The dealer suggest me for sending back to the company for the replacement on 14.5.12 and the same has been sent. But after a week, today i.e on 21.5.12 the dealer said the company returned back the same battery saying the battery functioning well. I never expect such a reply from the reputed company.               I had bought Exide Battery thinking that it is one of he better one and the name it carries.
              Realized that it s one of the worst in terms of product and service.
              I bought the battery from New Delhi Motor House A22-23 Ajit Arcade Kailash Colony New Delhi Mfg 210 Sr No 53882 Waranty card no 210W[protected] datd 14 Amy 2011.
              Its not ben even a month and the battery went down.
              I made a complait on[protected], people attending were rude in their response, After constant call they came and left without doing anything. They said if yu have problem you need to go to the dealer or get t recharged.
              I feel Exide India should stop dealing in Batterries if their product is so bad.
              I also see on the net so many complants and Exide India has no response

                    i have bought an exide inverter battery mega 1500 (3EO/83072) on 17 june 2010 with a replacement warranty of 03 years from authorised dealer - ahluwalia trading corporation, exhibition road patna ( mobile no [protected],[protected].). the battery had a dysfunction and was submitted to the authorised dealer on 14 may 2011. a replacement battery was given to me on 23 may 2011 and it gave backup only for 01 hour or so. today it is 02 june and i have been told today by the dealer that my battery is dysfunctional and that it will take another 01 week before a replacement battery is given. i am suffering in the heat for the last 20 days for a fault in the battery which i bought for 10,800/- with a warranty of 03 years by the coy. should it take so long for such a service

                      SRL. NO:581490 . SINCE I PURCHASED THE BATTERY I REGULARLY VISIT FOR BATTERY CHECKUP AT THIS CENTER. LATELY IN APRIL 2011 I SUFFERED A PROBLEM IN BATTERY , VISITED TO CHECK - THEY TOLD BATTERY OK USE IT .
                      DUE TO AGAIN SAME PROBLEM DURING STARTING THE SCOOTER . THEN THEY TOOK THE BATTERY, WARRENTY CARD, AND ALSO DEMANDED THE PURCHASE BILL SAYING THE AUTHORITY WANTS TO SEE.

                        replacement during warranty period

                        I purchased an 800 va inverter feb 2010 . couple of days back the battery failed. when contacted the inverter supplier ( microtek agency) they said the battery comes under replacement warranty for only one year and repairable warranty for the next year. The battery is apparently beyond repair, and since the warranty has crossed on year , i am to purchase a new one. the warranty card we have only " 2 years warantee mentioned" and...

                        on 25/08/08 i purchased an invared 500 battery BN-IE8.SN-52951.from noja maruti mirjapur darbhanga,BIHAR.i was surprised to find the battery havig faulty inback up and charging problem after one month from purchasing.i reported the problem to th salesman a above and after many efforts salesman replaced the battery with iva tubular SN-96745.AFTER two years.but same fault occured after two moths.this whole process occurd within warranty period.i again rported this issue to salesman.he refused to take action rgarding this problem.now i request you to look into the matter and do needful action.waiting for your reply for further action.

                          I had purchase an Exide Battery for my inverter for my home use. I was told that warranty of battery is of 2 years. But after an year there was some problem in my Battery. When I had lounged a complaint for the same, I was told there is some default in my inverter but my invertor enginer told me that my inverter is fine. Every time I lounged a complaint I was told the same thing. And as soon as my warrant got over I was told "there is fault in battery but your warranty period is over. So we can't do anything". Hope if can file a sue against Exide battery for cheating the customer.

                            I have purchased Exide Battery from your dealer from AKASH ELCTRICALS GREATER NOIDA (U.P..) is not providing not satisfactory service and my battery is in Guarantee Period and demand unnecessary charges and his service is very very poor and not attending customer complain properly. I find very poor service of exide battery.Ther battery is not working properly.. Your authorised sub dealer is destroy your reputation. The battery which I have purchased is not charging properly from the date of purchase. I contact with the said dealer and told him the problem. He charged me Rs. 150/- for his service charge as battery is in guarantee period. As there is no fault from my side. As battery is not charging properly. He refused to replacement of the battery .i don't get any kind of service to me I have visited his shop lot of time. i have complaint for this many time but i got no response at all. i want to replacement of my battery .my complaint on 08/03/2011 my job no. was 10863 and the compalint no. is MUHO6871 whenever i had purchased battery on 26/04/2009.

                                I have purchased Exide IT500(150A) on[protected] fro Vision Electronics Ranchi. Details of Battery is IUA 88245. Presently it is not working at all due to shell problem. I have given a complain to customer care on 7-5-2011 . The complain no was provided by customer care represetative is EJHO 00001024. It was also said by them that the engineer will visit within two working days, it is unfortunate that till today evening no one has visited or entertained . my smaller shop of ladies cloths are badly affected . now we are loosing faith on service of the Exide company. Kindly remove my problem immediately.

                                once you purchase exide battery you will not get it replacement because exide do not give replacement to dealers on time.when you go to dealer you say we want exide so he sold you. so its your responsibility to take replacement from company .what the dealer will do if exide reject him
                                Do not buy exide it 500 battery, because dealers cannot give replacement in your battery.

                                  i am use the ur company battery purchase in new scooter in suzuki access battery cheack in battery dealer 3 time i am use the new battery in one week in temparory
                                  working is good i think for ur original battery problem my problem not solve in one week i am going for cunsumer court.

                                    BACK UP PROBLEM
                                    EXIDE INVA TUBULAR BATTERY
                                    BATTERY NO-IT500
                                    DATE OF PURCHASE-08/08/2009

                                    With reference to above it is very painful to inform you that I have been facing the back up problem in my battery since the purchase. I referred the matter first to my dealer M/s Modi Trade & Sales Agency, Dharmashala Road, Kishanganj, Bihar, but he had neither paid any heed to my request nor checked my battery (only charged two times) so I have been compelled to refer the matter to your good office.

                                    2. That there is a close relation between inverter (UPS) and battery, each one is wholly dependent on other, so today I have checked my inverter (Su-Kam company) by Su-Kam’s engineer and he has certified that the inverter is all in order and the problem persists with the battery (field report by Su-Kam engineer enclosed).

                                    3. That today while checking the batter it has been found that the water of one cell has turned black, which is quite unexpected and surprising.

                                    4. I therefore request your good self to be kind enough to send your engineer/technician to check my battery as it is not working satisfactorily and it is also in warranty period.

                                      I have purchased an EXIDE INVARED 500+ battery (Serial No.018411) from ASP Enterprisess #1, College Road, Karaikudi - 630002, Bill No.78 Dated: 20/03/2009. The warranty of the product is for 30 months. But, before the warranty period expires, the battery became unusable as it could not retain charge for more than 10 minutes. Explaining the condition of the battery,it was handed over to the supplier above mentioned for replacement on 17.03.2011. After two months of waiting time sine then, I could not hear anything positively from the supplier for the replacement of the product. The supplier inturn passes the bug to the whole-sale dealer who supplied the product to them.

                                      During the days of frequent power cut, I along with my family suffer much,especially during night and morning hours.

                                      I have resorted to this complaint after the prolonged wait, hoping for the redressal at the earliest date at least hereafter.

                                      What's about the apartments developers construct and sell...and that too without warranty.

                                      You are born to suffer and do it in a glorifying manner without complaint
