This is to inform you I am an ex-employee of Exide (SF Division) and it’s been more than 4 years I’ve been following up with PF office, Vashi for my PF withdrawl.

I would like to bring to your kind notice that my pf withdrawl was sanctioned after vigorous follow ups of 3 years vide cheque no. 885721 dtd. 24th May 2010 for Rs. 232035/- but has been returned to your office from my PNB bank account Paharganj Branch as the bank account number was mentioned wrongly by mistake. I’ve provided the details once again and also sent the cancelled cheque 9 months back to your office.

From past 9 months I’ve been hearing from your office that PF office is getting computerized and the claim will be released in the month of July. I had a telecom with Mr. Jignesh in the month of May confirming that my cheque is lying ready with him and it will be sent shortly. Now from June till date they have another reason for not releasing my payment is that the concerned person Mr. Jignesh has left and some lady has joined in his place and since her joining she is not keeping well so the PF amount can’t be released. Now Mrs. Nisha has also left, and some Mr. P K Singh is there and he is on the job.

I urgently need this money as I am facing health issues mainly breathlessness and I need to get a surgery done. I’ve been postponing my surgery from past 2 months for want of this money.

You are requested to kindly take up this matter on priority to resolve the long pending issue.

    BEFORE THE WARRANTY PERIOD BUTTON START PROBLEM ARISES. I HAVE TAKEN BATTERY (EXIDE ET2-4) TO " EXIDE POINT, NELLORE" HE TESTED THE BATTERY THEN IT WAS SENT FOR REPLACEMENT.       i had bought a new hero honda karizma zmr on dated[protected] which came fitted with exide battery having the below mentioned specifications. within 12 months o[censored]sage the battery proved to be faulty in getting the motorcycle started. the battery was submitted by me personally at exide batteries mandi office for inspection on dated[protected]. after 2 days of scrutiny by your staff, the battery was found to be defective which is duly acknowledged by your staff at the Mandi office. i was promised a new battery as replacement within span of 3-5 days. but as of today, i have not received any battery as replacement. every time the staff keeps making excuses that battery will come in two days or three days but again and again same thing gets repeated on the date given.this sort of neglect and constant refusal to provide me with battery is proving to extremely inconvenient to me as from past 14 odd days i am with out any vehicle.

          This is to inform you that i am from Delhi and i had purchased an Exide Battery (Automotive) from Kapson Enterprises, 1A- DDA Janta Flats, Pitampura village Delhi-110034 on 5-4-2010. This battery model no. 38B20R had a 18months warranty. The battery stopped working on 16th of August 2011. The nos. provided on service booklet for Jaipur city were all incorrect. I had a huge problem and finally resorted to buy a new battery. Later i gave the battery for replacement to the dealer who sent it to Exide service center in Wazirpur Industrial Area C/O IndoArya, Hafed building complex, on 25th Aug after finding out that cell no.2 is not working and therefore it cant start the car. Today on 22 oct Mr. Ajit ([protected]) is telling me that the battery is all right and is sending it back. When i asked him whether he has checked it with any car he denied doing so and refused to replace the battery because it had idling problem. I told him that I can prove that it was not idle and i will take him to court for which he said that i can do so. (I have the recorded conversation as proof). This is to inform you about the incident and if i do not get any replacement in one week i will do the same.

            WE have purchased 2 Exide batteries from M/s. Tirupati Batteries, Sikanderpur, Gurgaon and one of the battery is not working properly. We are facing lots of problem due to this as there are frequent power cuts in gurgaon. When we approached the owner Mr.Ravi, he started using abusive language [ may be he was drunk when we called] and told us he will not give any replacement or repair, however battery is still under warranty.....

              Dear Sir,
              I am say that I have purchased one Excide Inverter Plus 1500 Battery bearing No. 3C0 2100 and Sr. No. 3C[protected]C0 vide your invoice No. 846 dated[protected] from M/s New Jaspal Electrical, Booth No. 101-102, Sector 38-C, Chandigarh after making a payment of Rs.9200-00.

              The battery stopped working and on checking a representative of delaer told me that the battery is useless now. Despite my repeated requests and visits to the shop of dealer the battery have not been changed uptilnow. Even dealers" tries for replacement from Excide have failed as the battery has remained with dealer for a period of one & half month.

              On your advice I take the battery to the Excide Office at No.24/4. Industrial Area, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh. The excide people after retaining the battery for a period of 4 days showed their inability saying that the dealer has sold you the old battery which is 2010 model in the year July, 2011, and that is why it stopped working now. They told me it is only the dealer who will arrange to replace the battery and they have nothing to do with this.

              For the last appx. one and half month I am running from pillar to post to change the battery but of no use. I presume I have been harassed only due to purchasing an EXCIDE product. Now I want to ask from you:-

              1. Why YOUR DEALER sold battery model 2010 in the year July, 2011 i.e. after a period of One and half year.
              2. Why your dealer instead of getting it returned to Excide within a period of 3 months sold a product to me.
              3. Why the dealer was unable to replace it directly from the Companay.
              4. Why the Excide people are shifting their responsiblity saying that it is dealer's fault.
              5. Why EXCIDE failed to get back its faulty product.
              6. Why by selling a out of date product you people have committed a fraud with me.

              You are given a time of 5 days from the date of this mail otherwise I will be left with no other alternate then to go The Hon'ble Disputes redressal and Consumer Forum, Chandigarh and file a complaint against EXCIDE and your dealeras there is great deficiency of services.

                Exide industries ltd.makes low quality batteries and charges double the amount as compared to other manufacturer.Hearing its big brand name I purchased a battery PBX 1350 in may 2010.It started troubling me in the very first year.It has been sent to Exide Industries Ltd. three times but it is returned with a remark OK.Wonder what kind of service engineer Exide employs who say a battery with 10 volts is OK
                God give them good sense and they can decide in a better way.

                  I Have 2 Exide Industrial 165 Ah Batteries for my inverter. These battery came with 48 months replacement warranty..After 24 months both batteries went bad..The local dealer said that they will get it replaced with two new 165 Ah batteries within 15 days. After 3 months till date i have not received my batteries and I have to rely on my generator to run my business which has also resulted in to much expense. Exide being such a big company and they are not able to provide replacement battery.. i called their helpline number hundred times and everytime they say that they are sending the batteries in 2-3 days time..I am not gettin any positive response from their side..Please help

                      Vehicle is fine, but, the EXIDE maintenance free battery goes within or over 1 year. EXIDE 4L battery which Aviator uses is hell to you. It is not Maintenance Free… It is a big Headache since you need to change your Battery.

                      One more highlight is Battery casing they use which doesnot allow 5L battery to fit in (5L battery is being used in Activa and Dio). You need to take care you have to buy only 4L battery for Aviator which is not available in Amaron.
                      I brought Amaron BTX5L battery on recomendation from the service center guys since, they told Activa or Dio battery would fit. But, to my agony after purchasing 5L battery, they took the vehicle to replace the battery only to discover that it only fits with 4L battery which is not available in Amaron.
                      Service guy asked me to get Exide 4L battery only. I got very annoyed and angry. Why should I buy Exide… It is the worst battery I found. Even, I had to replace this EXIDE battery for my car too. EXIDE BATTERY IS LIKE SUICIDE BATTERY… it will kill itself very soon and creates a big problem to the owner.
                      I stongly recommend as being a customer to Honda…. not to go for EXIDE battery which is obviously a big headache for the customers.

                      Now, I need to change the Battery casing with fabricated plate holder to fit my BTX5L Amaron battery into my Aviator. Also one suggestion to Amaron battery to manufacture 4L pro-bike batteries since, I found this to be a good battery and none of the aviator owners should face the problems which myself and other aviator owners faced till now.

                      Customer satisfaction should be every company’s motto.

                      You are right. I bought this scooter so that my wife and I can use it for our errands. I bought this sometime Jan 2011 and the self start started mis-behaving by june and is now completely dead. Since my wife is dependent on self-starting the scooter, we face this big time pain in using this bike. The bike as such is good - but the battery really sucks. If you happen to find a remedy for this, pls post the same

                      Please go to the dealer immediately for Battery replacement. They have to do it free of charge as for EXIDE battery replacement warranty covers for 1 year. Dont delay dude... Also place a complaint with the dealer regarding this issue... might be they change contract to different battery dealer

                        Dear sir,
                        I purchased Exide inverter battery (IT 500-IC9-20258c) on 14th APL 2009 from “SHAKSHI ENTERPRISES” Betiahata Gorakhpur. “SHAKSHI ENTERPRISES” got it from S.S.TRADERS Betiahata Gorakhpur the authorized dealer of EXIDE.

                        Since the battery was unable to function even in winters so after many complaints it was finally taken by MS “SHAKSHI ENTERPRISES on 15th March 2010 without any replacement & got serviced by S.S.Traders, the authorized dealer of EXIDE & given to me on 15th April 2010.

                        After one day it again failed so on the advice of MS “SHAKSHI ENTERPRISES" I changed the inverter & purchased IGBT 850 VA Kevin inverter at a cost of Rs 5000/-
                        But again the world famous EXIDE TUBLAR was not functioning well.

                        In the mean time someone from Varanasi told me to redeposit the battery to S.S.TRADERS but due to cardiac problems I was able to deposit the battery on June 28, 2010 again without replacement of service battery.Its present backup time is only 15 to 25 minutes for two fans only.

                        Can I hope for earliest replacement ?

                          Hi, we bought a battery - 6EM21R(mfg code - 1A10) from the distributor:
                          TARUN METAL CO.
                          10552, Gali no.4, Motia Khan,Bagchi Alludin, pahar Gandj, New Delhi - 110055

                          We believe this distributor is misusing Exide's name illegitimately. The paperwork looks imitated. The battery was bought a year back(21/04/10) and didn't last even for a year. No regular services were provided. The guy(Tarun) is now trying to cheat us again. He wants us to pay Rs4500 and give the battery to him in exchange of a new one. It seems he sold us a used battery so that he could keep fooling us.

                          Please can this matter be escalated and investigated properly.

                          I hope to get a prompt and apt response.

                            I have purchased exide inva tubular battery it 550 on 3rd june 2009.In just 23 months, my battery backup reduced to only 1/2hr.I have complained to dealer from where I purchased it. He submitted the old battery and promised to deliver a new battery as it is in warranty with 15 days but, there is no responce from them. Its been over 3 months but I havnt received the replacement yet. I have tired to call them to solve my problem but they never try to solve my problem, sometimes they disconect my cal, or misbehave.So I have posted my problem here because I think only u people can solve my problem.I want to give the full details of my battery details:-

                              Recently i bought powerol 600VA 26.2.20112 pure sine wave at a cost of rs 5, 800 in Madurai


                              i buy inverter alone from the local dealer, and i had 100ah exide battery


                              initially it

                              give 3 hours of power for two fans in morning 6 to 9 am, bacause our area have regular power cut in the morning
                              after two weeks it give 1 hr power and went battery low


                              i called the local dealer, he said battery low is your problem not our side and he doesn’t respond me
                              then i called the battery service person, he came with his tools
                              after he checking he tell me 11.8 v is coming from inverter to battery, it will charge only 30% of its capacity
                              then only i realized that th is is worst inverter with in one month


                              after i called the customer care they tell me we will repair if you bring inverter to our office

                                I am owining Honda Dazzler from the date[protected] in which i got exide maintaince free battery with battery code 020810A1. Now for pasrt two months i am having problem with the battery. It keeps on discharging after 10-15 days with full charge. I had went my honda service center three time and to exide service cernter two times and they keep on charging my battery n then giving it back to me.And after 10-15 days the battery discharged completely. The honda service are saying tht their is no problem in the bike eery thing is working fine. i am so dissappoinated by the two service centers. Both leave me no way just for go to consumer court. so tell me is this going to help by contacting u...i will bw waiting for a reply

                                  we have purchaesd Broad band in november 2008 along with connection of BSNL. Phone No(228449) But we found that every month our phone dead 10 days we have complained many times but there is no parmanent solution.we are facing lot of problems in office. in these days 14 days our phone has dead but there is no response from BSNL..We talk to mr saini (SDO) Mobile No-[protected]. of Roop nagar But he is also not responding about this metter.                                     I have purchased a exide battery 9A with sr. no. 313579 on[protected], which is now total dead as per the Exide service centre people at B-24 Okhla Delhi, and the same exide battery is in the 24th month of its purchase.
                                    Now is I have purchased the same battethe issue ry @1400/- and as per the warranty card there is 45% discount for the same.
                                    But authorised dealer of Exide "Smart's Motor Agencies" at new delhi is saying that I have to pay Rs. 1100/- for the same coz the battery is costing 1950/-.
                                    My first question is if I have purchased the same battery @1400/- before 2 years (proof with bill), then why the exide dealer is saying that the charges is Rs. 1950/-
                                    2. Why are Exide people doing fun with their customer on the name of warranty?
                                    I am going to start blogging about exide's type of fun service on all social sites.

                                    Exide Battery — Fraud

                                    I got an Exide Battery Along with my New Bullet Electra.
                                    The Bettery Was Problamatic & i gave it for Replacement to the Company, However the Company Wont Replace the battery Inspite of the Battery Loosing its Power Within 3-4 Days!!!
                                    Now that the warranty is over They have Started saying that the battery is Problamatic & i need to Purchase a new Battery!!!
                                    I wish to Sue the Company for this!!!
                                    i have purchased a new bullet standard 350 in[protected] but battery discharged 3 times til now, but the dealer is refusing to replace

                                      bought 2 new batteries for my diesel 1 ton truck after my 5 year old batteries crapped out ,these were bought in febuary of 2011 ,worked fine till june of 2011 and then suddenly started to lose there charge and would not start my truck .took them back to the doge dealership in my area and they said they failed the load test(DUHH) already new this ,they replaced the batteries at a $70.00 fee of course and then phone me 10 days later to tell me that exide says I froze my batteries in + 20 celcius weather and there is no warranty.

                                      DEAR EXIDE YOU ARE A FRAUD FOR SELLING FAULTY BATTERIES AND HAVE THE NERVE TO TELL PEOPLE THAT ITS ALL ARE FAULT,WHEN CLEARLY YOU HAVE POOR WORKMANSHIP OR PRODUCT GOING INTO YOUR FINAL SALEABLE PRODUCT YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF FOR THIS,IF I WERE SOME POOR SCHMUCK OFF THE STREET AND DID NOT KNOW ANY BETTER ,BUT I AM A MECHANIC AND I KNOW IF A BATTERY HAS BEEN FROZE .TO ME THIS IS A COP OUT WHEN YOU MAKE THE DEALER PHONE ME WHEN HE WELL KNOWS THAT THIS IS BULL*#IT.

                                      AS FOREVER BUYING ANOTHER EXIDE ,KISS MY *SS I WILL MODIFY MY VEHICLE TO FIT OR ACOMODATE ANY OTHER TYPE BATTERY BUT YOURS,, OH BY THE WAY NOW I KNOW WHY YOU POSTED A PROFIT LAST YEAR,AND WERE ABLE TO BY UP OTHER BATTERY MAKERS.


                                      IN CLOSING I GUESS WHAT IM SAYING IS BUYERS BEWARE OF EXIDE THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH ON WARRANTY

                                        Exide-- Tudor make battery worse battery - poor RND - technology- fails -- buckls out soon -- never ever go for this make--- mob no. [protected]-- Goa-- purchased at Milson Battery ,St.Inez ,Panaji-Goa Owner says Exide people are not co-operating and are not interested in maintaing customer complains- in one word customer comes last as far as complains are concern-- when contacted Mr.Mr.Rahul Nasalpure from mumbai ,n Ajit Prasad service Engineer - Goa -- Blaffed over the complain ,etc . can one afford to replace new bat. with no fault . wen asked for the report -- Ajit refused to give -- this attutude itself is evidence of willfully try to put customers to monetory losses--- Ajit n Rahul even went to an extent saying u do what u want --- we r helpless-- Buy a new battery.... wasting my precious time he left me high n dry.. next option is to proceed for justice in court of law -- to conclude i pray for justice to EXIDE.
