Purchased car battery on 6th April, 2009 from reform services,Ashram road,Ahmedabad, was discharging within month, complain so many times to service dealer, but he was avoiding my complaint by charging me my battery free of charge,informing that battery was working o'k.as i insist him to send my battery to company, he sent my battery to the sett elite branch, ahmedabad of the excide company, company also gave o'k certificate for the battery in august,2010.my warranty period was completing in september,2010. I complaint in exide battery complain on the same day of the certificte that battery is fail and not working well.battery was failed in october moth and totaly finished and sent to the company branch. I have also launch complaint against company in this forum by complaint no 8387 on 8th december,2010 my battery is sent to company sevice station by my dealer but still no reply, please help. yogesh dave

Purchased inverter battery on 6th February, 2010 from reform Janta Batteries Circular road, Rewari, was discharging within 10 minutes, complain so many times to service dealer, but he was avoiding my complaint from last 4 months by saying batteries are not available right now please work with existing one will replace it ASAP. Today he said warranty is over we cannot replace a battery now. I said as mentioned in warranty card can you please gave me 25% discount. He denied for that as well. Please advise me the next course of action. Thanks,
I have bought Exide EP 7-12 Eco-bike battery from Atlas Eco-bike scooters ( a set of 4-batteries for Rs.11000/- ) from Bhilai-Durg on 10th jan 2010. The battery got dead within 7-months. I have returned the battery to Exide battery House in Durg. The Exide battery house in Durg tooke 2-months and returned the battery saying that it cannot be replaced since it has only 6-months replacement warranty only. the warranty form says clearly 12 months warranty. The piece has manufacture defect, otherwise how can it becomes dead within 7-months.
Please advice Exide Battery House dealer Durg to replace my battery immediately, otherwise I am going to place a case on Consumer Redressal Forum. The attitude of the Battery House Durg is very bad.
Right now my vehicle is lying idle due to the battery.

    My exide battery was replaced to me on[protected]. I suppose it carries 3 years replacement warranty. I had purchased it from Satish dynamo works,Sector 16, Gandhinagar. Its sr. no.IJ 7/[protected] Kindly direct the dealer for necessary replacement of the battery.
    i brought honda activa frm bu bhandari show room just three weeks back in pune. my battery is dead . this is not what i am expecting from such a reputated battery manufacturing company. they said it will take 10 days to come new battery.its very inconviniace to the customer after paying hell of money.my battery datails r 40511b3 5731845. so look into the matter n do the needful immidiatly.

      I have purchased Exicide Invared 500 + 20% zyada Electrolyte tubular inverter battery on[protected] from M/s Saranya Battery Works, Mohopada (Rasayani) 410 222 Dist : Raigad ( Batch No. 3V8 Sr. No. 022456 ) but found not working since Sept'2010 ( before guarantee period of 18 months), I complained to dealer and he had taken out the bateery & sent to M/s PAE LIMITED, Turbhe, Navi Mumbai for repair. After repair i got my battery back in the month of Oct'2010 but found not working. When i contacted the dealer M/s Saranya Battery Works, Mohopada , he told that guarantee period was over and it was the fault of service centre that they had not attended properly so better you should complaint to the company. As battery is not attended properly in due course of guarantee period , my case for re-repair may please be considered sympathitically and may please be obliged.

        We have purchased the new exide make battery 60 nos (12 V DC,26 Ah.) Through (Mr.RIYAZ -- General manager- AUTOMARK Pvt Ltd, E-Mail:[protected]@yahoo.co.in&[protected]@vsnl.net)
        .The PO No.[protected] & dated Aug 2009.

        The above battery are used to 2 no of 10 KVA UPS in our power plant critical application.
        Last month the UPS got tripped due to the mains incoming power supply failure.The UPS is not taking the load from the battery bank (battery low indication).The UPS service Engineer came and checked the battery bank,found 6 no of battery got problem (service report attached).They suggesting the battery should be replaced with new one.All the batteries under warranty periode.we have contact the Exide custamer care dep, ( tol free no ;[protected] &[protected] although there is no responds from other end.They also sugggested to me complaint if any should be registererd through authorised dealer.
        Kindly send your service personnel and take nessasary action / replacement immediatly.

        I am also faced the same type of problems when procured EXIDE INVARED BATTERY 12V 150 AMH/HR
        Failed in just 04 months & no service/attention is received from Exide customer care &neither from dealer
        Finally after six months continous chase up battery is sent to service center for check up & shocked to get the feedback after prolonged periof of 08 weeks -battery failuer is due to sulphonation

        In this process alomost 14 months is almost lost & battery is still not delivered at my end out of the
        total warranty period 24 months from date of purchase

        Now the case is nor the product is available/nor the service desired is enjoyed
        fact is only my money is gone for selecting the branded exide battery & agony can not be measured in monetary level

        But it will be strongly taken against the non performance of the product thru varies means

          I have purchased a New Exide Battery for my car, Battery Make DIN 55 EXIDE[protected], from the authorised Exide Battery Dealer M/s VIRAJ BATTERY located at Hingna Road Nagpur. For the old Exide battery replacement he has given me only Rs 500/- Discount saying that if you show me the warranty booklet i will be extenting the said % of discount mentioned in booklet available with you.
          Now when i showed him the warranty booklet stating the replacement discount of 30% the dealer is denying to pay the discount saying that he has sold the battery to scrap.
          Please help me out how these dealers can cheat the customers! & Company not taking any action

            This is just to inform you that My name is Arvind Kumar. I resides at G-23, Street No-7, Shastri Coloy. Pall No-1, Faridabad-121003. I purchased exide battery (1350 plus Mfg Code-4A9 serial no.-107211) from SOM Trading Corporation Faridabad on 5 May 2009. Due to back-up problem I summited that battery in Customer Care Center at Faridabad (16/5 Mathura Road ,Karkhana Bagh. Phone[protected] on 25 October 2010.My complaint no. is 04097. After 10 days they told me your battery is fine but still they are not agree to check the back- up in front of me. In your customer care centre faridabad I talked to Jaspreet who is a technical engineer. He gave me an appointment but he did not meet me on the same day when he fixed a appointment. Again I talked to him over the phone & still he is not listen to me. I hired the another battery from the market on rent. I am paying Rs 150/ per day for the rented battery. You will give me the whole money from 25 October 2010 till date.
            If you can not resole the customer problem why you committed to the customer at the time of purchasing.
            If I will not receive any positive responsive from your side with in two day's then I will be file a case in consumer court against you. I will see you in court.

              I have purchased Exide Express Batteryt on 05/07/08.from M/s Monica Auto Electrical works, Bangarpet, Phone 257170

              Battery details are mfg code 417, Type MHD88, Sl No 22488, Guaranty Card No 45126971

              This battery had frequent problems and found one of the cell is cracked during Nov 09. Supplier (Shop keeper) has taken failed battery and battery guarantee card and informed us within a month battery will be replaced. Till date he has not given battery under warranty.

              Please help me in getting battery under warranty.

                I am the user of exide battery which I have installed in my Activa(scooter). I have purchased it from Exide Care (Address: The Bat Shop, Opp Naranpura Post office, Naranpura, Ahmedabad-13). I was given 1 year warranty. But after 3 months the battery was not working properly. I have made complaint to above mentioned Exide care, but the manager of such is not doing anything. His behaviour with me is very bad. He is saying that every battery doesn't work properly in the morning as in the morning it is too cold for the battery to work. I feel like Exide Company has cheated me as it hasn't made such kind of specification while I was purchasing the battery.
                Please help me to resolve my problem.

                my battry backup is nil after one year from the date of purchaging. your dealar(Exide power point) at ranchi id 1140 has told me that three years it will be ok.what will be the solution.either I will complain before the consumer form.

My last battery (inverter plus 1500 ) brought from Deka Electronic at Tihu Town, And now it is on your workshop for reolace against my damage battery from 30/06/2010 through Deka Electronic . But it is a matter of regret that it is not replace till now but why ? so , you have to replace my battery as soon as posible . If it is not happened Iwill have to need some help consumer court .                     As per the telephonic conversation on cunsumer care centre the written complaint /request is mentioned below for your kind consideration and time bound solution of my request.

                    I have purchased Exide Car Battery from Dashmesh Batter & Inverter Shoppe

                    Address: Shop No. 10 MDU Shopping Plaza Near Power House Delhi Road Rohtak. Battery bearing Sl No. EM35 R Sr No. 329347 dated and invoice No. 282 dated 27/05/09 costing me Rs. 2700 (Two Thousand Seven Hundred Only.

                    Now the battery is non operational since last one month or even more then one month. I have raised the complaint for the same with dealer and the customer care of Exide battery in Rohtak. Dealer refused to repair or replace the battery and even behaved in irresposible manner. There after I have approached to the customer care of Exide and he stated that only dealer can repair or replace the battery. since then one month is over i am running in between dealer to customer and care reverse. Till todate my problem is not sorted out by any of them. They have just ignoring me and they harrashed me mentaly and physically too. Now I can not take more and give up my self and gone to District Consumer Forum.

                    A friendly lawyer of Consumer Forum suggested me to raise a request with you peoples and I am doing the same to get help in the above cause of concern.

                    My daily schedule of working is getting hampered due to the abvoe problem.

                    Behaviour of the dealer is totally irresponsible.

                    Therefore it is requested that please look into the matter on urgent basis and reply be forwarded to me at the earliest.

                    Waiting for a positive response from your side at the earliest.

                    As if my problem is not sorted out within 48 hrs then there is no option left with me to raise my concern in District Consumer Forum.

                      Battery of exide defective within 6 months but compney is not ready to change

                      I Nitin Gupta has purchase a Battery on 02.04.2010 , battery name SF Sonic Jumbo, Manufacturing Code 5BO, serial no 125750,bill no 16020 dated 02 April 2010, from Bittu Batteries , jain road Gurgaon, Phone no[protected], but from last three days the vehicle is giving starting problem and then i showed it to the delear M/s Bittu Batteries then he gave me the no of exide service center the no is[protected],

                      they has came to my house and they have checked the battery and they has given a report the its two cells are bubbling and just because of the same it is giving problem, but they are not ready to give in writing that replacement is needed for the battery. however they have given in writing that 2 cells are bubbling,

                      dear sir, plesae helpme for the same because me and my wife cannot give the jump start to our car tata Indica every day every morning

                      I Also Facing the same problem from Exide dealer i have parches A Exide battery Name Ceil Tubular on Date 13.06.2012, from a local dealer named M/S MAA SARADA TRADERS, at/ po;- Brajrajnagar, Dist Jharsuguda.State :- Orissa. TIN.[protected].BATCH no of Battery is 3Yc, SerAl no of battery is 014746.@ 13, 000rs.
                      Problem ;- Battery of exide defective within 3 day but Dealler is not ready to change Same attitude is of compony Also.
                      a) by useng one ceealig fan and one CFL Light of 15 Volt total Back-up of Battery is 2 hrs.
                      b) the dealler also personally know the same .hi is not willing to do any thing.
                      c) He also sold me a trolly for Battry and that found Damage at the time of delevry, but he (Dealler) said that to change it on next
                      week .but he refuse to do the sme now.


                      1)Firstly i said the dealear to send me the best battery from Exide company.But he send me the above mansion batty saying that its the best one.
                      2) 2nd he told me that if any problem occurred he should change the battery within same day, but now he is refuse to do that by saying that its the responsibility of company,
                      3)he is also using unsocial language withe me .
                      4) he is also cheated me in price of battery & Inverter (Microtech) both are purchesed on same date &Time by the same Store.

                        I PURCHASED AN EXIDE CAR BATTERY MODEL EM32 SL NO 2 H 7 39517 FOR 2600/ ON 23.06.09
                        FM POPLY ELECTRONICS,ROHTAK.WARRANTY CARD OF COMPANY WAS ISSUED TO ME VALID FOR 18 MONTHS.I WAS TRANSFERRED TO LUDHIANA AND THE BATTERY CREATED PROBLEMS
                        AND MATTER REFERRED TO EXIDE HOUSE B31,1140 /3 OPP MANGI DAIRY,MUNDIAN KALAN LUDHIANA. THEY REJECTED THE REPLACEMENT REQUEST ON THE GROUNDS THAT IT WAS OUT OF OLD STOCK.
                        .AS A MATTER OF FACT IT APPEARS THAT DEALERS ARE SELLING OLD STOCK TO GET MORE COMMISSION TO LOCAL SHOPS WHO SELL IT TO CONSUMERS.FRAUD IS THAT THEY USE EXIDE WARRANTY CARD. CO REJECTS THE WARRANTY CLAIM. CONSUMERS GET CHEATED.
                        CONSUMER IS NOT AWARE THAT IT IS A OLD STOCK. 2 H 7 DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING TO CONSUMER.BUT IT MEANS IT WAS MFG IN 2007. GROSS FRAUD ON CONSUMERS..

                          (job no -6940) Battery recd but still taking lot of time to charge

                          I Purchased 2 Exide SQ - 450 batteries on 15/09/2009 . After 13-14 months Battery Started to consume lot water from few cells and would take a hour to charge if light went for 5 minutes . I registered my complaint in sept 2010 . 2 person from exide came and checked the battery and told that your inverter is faulty. But after few days i checked my Lumious inverter from Authorised service station and he told that your inverter is perfectly ok and there is no problem in inverter.I told this to Exide And sent my batteries to there service station in mayapuri as per there tel conversation .After 18 days on 29th oct 2010 , i recived my batteries after making many calls and email to them. And was told that your battery is perfectly fine . But still same problem persist . still battery is taking more than 60 minutes to fuly recharge when light went for 5 minutes only. Therefore battery was consuming lot of water from few cells.


                          Please help me to get my battery replaced. I being a senior citizen cant travel a lot.

                          our inverter battery no. 7123 code. 3q7 with GRN no. 164 of eli 06 purchased from ypur dealer infra battery hose vazhakulam, ernakulam district on 17.6.2008 is not working properly and the charge is not maintained for more than 2 hrs a day during power failure, when worked with only one fan. complaints were registered many times and no steps were taken to repair and maintain the battery properly kindly make the battery useful and if not responding within 5 days we have to complaint to higher-ups for getting relief .

                            I purchased a battery of Exide battery on 2-Apr-08 from Dehradun vide bill of Allied Auto Agencies. The product is EM 35 R mfg code 2A8, ser no 46564. This product started giving problems from September onwards and finally when the battery was checked it was found to be faulty due dead cells.

                            It has yet to complete three years and the dealers in Shimla do not stand by the calculation of Pro rata deduction as explained ta the time of purchase. I am an ardent Exide user, do you want your customers to breakaway from exide.

                                  An Inverter of APC HI800SQ along with 120AH Exide battery was purchased and installed from you on 22/10/2009, initially it was working well but later the battery backup started coming down and a complaint was made to exide customer care but immediately I got the reply saying that it is attended and closed and dealer is not taking any responsibility and since then it is kept unused.
                                  Please arrange to replace the faulty battery before 22/10/10(warranty expire date)

                                    It is intemented that i sukhbeer singh aligarh have been purchased an exide tubler battery IT 500
                                    invoice no1389 on 14/6/2008 from sunil battery service G.T. Road Aligarh with an warranty of 30 months
                                    now the battery is not functioning on enquiring with dealer he replied to approch direct to the manufacturer therefore you are requested to take necessary actionand direct to dealer for replace repair of battery at the earliest. to avoid further legal correspondence.

                                      I purchased sxide car battery from Reform services for my maruty 800 car, it discharges within every month period since i purchased it on 6th April,2009. company gave o'k certificate regarding all cells of the battery functioning on 2nd August, 2010, even thouth it has leave to function to day on 8th September,2010. As it is within warranty period company should change me new battery.

                                        I have purchased a exide tubler battery in last Jun 2009 from M/s Shiva Battery, Delhi. After six months i got problem of power backup, which is going abt 1 hour of one fan and one tube light. After several complaints to dealer, he was ready to check with exide company and take for testing. After testing, Exide group has give ok result but problem was not solved. Agai after several complaint , the dealer has again send to exide on 17 Aug 2010 for checking WITH MY oRIGINAL BILL & wARRANTY CARD. Return the battery to same withouut changing in per formance with OK report aznd seize my warranty card and bill. The details given on Delivery challan of 19 Aug 2010 is as foloow.
                                        Delivery chalan no PTP/PTP/10/3663, date 19/8/2010.Battery Detail - CRN No PTP/PTP/EX/10/03608, Battery Type- ZSCO-IN 1500PLUS, Manufacture Code - 4E9, S. No 10557. But this very serous that aftyer six month of Installation of battery i got problem but problem was not rectified under warranty and testing result is given twice Ok without rectification.Sir please slove my problem as soon as possible.
