sir,
I(Guddu soni) want to complain for exide battery backup.In last some days, some problems are created by ur battery while my rental house electricity and the power consum are going to be well position like-
I am using presently,
* One cealing fan (singer com. )
* three CFL's 20watt (bajaj com.)
*Two 0 watt bulbs

Always the electric power supply is on 14-13 hrs everyday in my town i.e. 210 volt is running by the stablizer.
I used microtek 600VA digital inverter Serial no. 6LGANX59486.

I am using the battery for 4-5 hours per day.
When the battery backup problem begin to create properly i informed my dealer but not found good response.
So I want to exchange my battery because this reason i am always suffered.

    I had purchaded a new Bajaj Platina 125cc on April 6th 2009, within two months of purchase the battery became weak as the self start & indicators stopped working. On showing of bike to the exide battery dealer I was informed that one of the cell of the battery was weak hence the same was sent to Exide for checkup as it was under warraty period of 1 year. When I received the battery after a week from the dealer the verification form mentioned that the right side of the battery was damaged & hence there was a leakage & no replacement will be made for the same & I should claim the same from the Insurance company. Then I went to the bajaj bike dealer Cozy India ltd at byculla where I was informed that it is not our responsibilty as there is physical damage done to the battery & to add to it they said even if I claim from Insurance company I will get only 50% of the amount as compensation from the insurace company & on top of that I will have to bear claim charges of Rs 200/- as well. The question here is where does the consumer land in such scenario? Plaese help as my ramzan is going on & I am fasting & working the whole week & in the midst of all this I am being bounce like a tennis ball between the court of the Bajaj Bike Dealer & Exide Batteries

      Hi all

      Iam the one who lodged the first complaint against Flexi Deal. I actually did a thorough check on the club and also met the key people of the club namely Prakash who is the GM for this club. Its the marketing person whom i have decribed in my fist complaint who has given false promises. Actually the GM took whole of his time explaining the stuffs and he really is doing a good job in other parts like Real estates and stuffs. So all the people --- This club is Genuine. My onle request to Prakash the GM of the company is to make sure you appoint a sensible Marketing Manager who commits what you really can offer. This will really help u to fetch more customers. So guys go ahead in enrolling without any doubts.So guys Iam taking back my complaint. If you need any more update please feel free to call me at [protected].

        Dear Exide Corp.,

        I have purchased Exide batteries for home inverter on 15th Jan 2008. I had a company guarantee of 2 years.

        Recently, we had issues with battery charging. When contact, the dealer (M/s master battery service, Vasai, Maharashtra – 401202) claimed that there are two issues

        First, inverter is not working and second, battery need to be charged again.

        We believed them and purchased a new inverted for Rs. 4800 and paid additional Rs. 200 for charging of battery. However, battery still does not work properly.

        Hence, we requested dealer to repair / replace the battery as per guarantee. However, dealer is now refusing to attend the call. Such un-professional behavior has caused significant pain to us and may also harm the brand “EXIDE” in long term.

          the invertor battery purchased from BEDI ELECTRICALS(JALANDHAR) punjab, is not giving proper service since two mpnths of its purchase.dealer was approached many times but he suggested to replace invertor instead of battery.Same was done but battery did not gave service even after that.Now when he was approached he used abusive language and told it will not be replaced.It was purchased in march 2008 and gurranted for 18 months.Please help

            Sub- don’t take any response from exide executive.
            Sir,
            I P.N.Sah bearing complain no- EBHO00000531.I am unable to correct response from the exide executive.Sir I purchase the exide inva tubular battery on dated 17.05.10 batch no-1qb serial no – 090973 from selicon electronics (M.G.Road Bhagalpur) but this battery was unable to backup (1hr 1fan 2 tube) so I send this battery in service center on 20.1010 from my dealer. Now from that I was unable to correct response and status.
            First thing is that My seller said to me that “I’m authorized dealer” and also show the board and certificate which was totally wrong. Seller name madhukar.
            Second thing is that after 20 days from sending the battery I search the current status of my complain but neither seller nor exide executive member like J. M. Singh, Vivek Viswas(service engg. Patna), Aarif Kamal could said the status of my battery or any job sheet no. till that time.
            Please response quickly and take any serious and hard action for this, due to this problem I can’t do anything. After all Sir I decided to I complained in the consumer court.
            Just one thing that a service battery is send to my home which gets 10 min backup.

              AFTER FIVE MONTHS THE BATTERY NOT WORKING PROPERLY.I HAVE MADE A COMPLAINT AND THE LOCAL DEALER SONDI BATTERIES BHAGWAN TALKIES CHURHYA NEAR BANK OF INDIA AGRA (U.P) NOT ATTENDING THIS COMPLAINT PROPERLY. I WANT A REPLACEMENT FOR THIS BAT WARRANTERY.AFTER A WEEK ON 3rd AUG 2009.HE REPLACE THE BATTERY AND GIVE ME NEW BATTERY S.                 Dear Sir,
                I have purchased exide batteries one month age in June
                From Gaya Electronics, K. P. Road, Gaya - Pin 823001.
                But the battery is not giving its proper backup.
                When the complaint is made to the dealer they refused to change it with other one.
                Also they have not sent any person to check.
                If you can do any thing then please do it on priority basis.

                    My self ASHISH KUMAR SINHA & This is inform you I had purchased a EXIDE INVERTER tubler battery IT-500 (for use of inverter with MICROTEK inverter)on month of march08. After using 8 to 9 month this battery was charge 1 hour (volt.220) & also recharge one hour .the Sr. No. of battery i-3P[protected] & invoice no.[protected].many time complain regarding battery to you vendor AKASH DEEP indu market Ballia. but the vendor is not provide any positive solution. This type of irresponsible behavior customer is suffer many type of problem & the faith on company decrease day by day, therefore request to you pl arrange faithful service engineer or replace my battery.

                        I HAVE PURCHASED A YAMAHA'S GLADIATOR FROM "NAVJAT YAMAHA " AT BHILWARA(RAJASTHAN)

                          Dear Sir,

                          We have purchased two 6EM25R Exide Max Batteries from your office at Madurai Tamilnadu on 20 Nov 2008 and supplied the same to M/s. Four star marine at Tuticorin Port Trust the next day. After six months, these two batteries developed unserviceable. Therefore the batteries were sent back to the suppliers for replacement under guarantee.

                          Your people at Madurai, refused to entertain our claim for no reason and despatched back the two batteries again to us.we are not satisfied with this deal and the consumer is willing to go for Consumer Forum in this regard. In our fourty years experience, we have met a lot of complaints like this and they all have been solved by all brands of batteries. Hence please intervene in this matter immediately and solve the same amicably.Most Urgent.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I have purchased a 2 invatubular Exide battery (Batch No 3N8 & Serial No 22950, 22216) from Raj electicals, Rohtak, Haryana on 17/03/2008, covering a warranty for 30 months . Right from the beginning the battery starts giving problem and on verbal complain authorized person from Raj electricals, Authorised dealer from Rohtak talked me telephonically and suggested me that in starting this can happen with invatubular, please get these batteries charged with big charger, i got them charged at my place at my cost, but after 2/3 months the batteries started showing same problem i.e. battery is getting discharged within4/5 hours with only one fan after full charge. I have reported Raj electricals but this problem remained unsolved till today. I have talked to them over phone and in person i have met dealer several times. now I have changed my invertor on there recommendation also, but the problem is same.Now they are saying that u have to leave batteries of 1-1.5 months for repair .How can it be possible in this hot summer without invertor even afetr spending Rs.22000.Please take the necessary step at an early .Thanking you,

                              my name is pranav & i live in nagpur. i have bot d exide bikers battery code no. 465791 on 5/3/09. the dealer has said that he will have to replace my battery to company, and he have alse kept my warranty card and didnt gave any proof about my battery as it us kept in his shop itself from 2 days. what should i do for that?

                              I use exide bikerz battery and it is in warranty period. But still the dealer is charging me Rs.50/- to charge the battery. Is that so, that warranty does not include charging of battery?? reply soon.
                              I am keyur soni from Ahmedabad. I have purchased exide bikerz battery on 8th April 2010. Is my battery in warrenty perioud?

                                    Dear sir

                                    I have purchased two inverter plus Exide batteries for a 1400 va luminous invertor on 29.12.2007 (so warranty exist upto 29.06.2009) from a dealer R.K.BATTERIES, HUKULGANJ, VARANASI.

                                    One of the battery (serial no. 4F7-19134) has been sent to service centre through my dealer R.K.BATTERIES on 14.05.2009 and I have been given a PRN NO. 10829 and a phone no.[protected] of service centre by my dealer. When I enquired for its status, till 22.5.09 it was said that "battery is under charging" and on 23.5.09 they told me that "battery is O.K." and it will be sent to my dealer, from where it can be collected on Monday 25th'May. Why they are making contradictory statements.

                                    Today i.e. on 25th'may'09 they are again saying that we are checking its backup and wanted more days.

                                    Sir this to be noticed that at the time of purchase of the batteries it was told that this kind of batteries are non-repairable and will be replaced immediately whenever any complain arises. Now they are taking so long time. Already, it is 12th day it has been sent.

                                    Is this not only passing the time, when it is going to be end of warranty period.

                                      i had purched a ups battery bearing no.4/8-504568 of 12 volt from their auth dealer in raniganj from JJ CORPORATION on7/1/09.the battery was not working so i got touch with the dealer but the dealer is saying that it will take time.i asked the dealer how long will it take. first they said it will take one week.then i contacted the dealer after a week he said call me after a couple of days. after making so many calls and i did not get satisfactory anser.

                                        Hi,

                                        I have been an ardent fan of Hyundai products till now. Off late it has made me think again. I purchased my Hyundai Getz from KUN Hyundai Chennai in September 2006. I have been actively using the vehicle since that time. This week when I started my car, it would not start and had to take the battery (exide) for recharging. To my shock I found out that the cells of the battery were down and could not be recharged (as per my battery mechanic).

                                        Are the batteries made to last only for 2 and a half years? If yes, this is sad. I am not yet done with the hire purchase of the car and I am not in a position to shell out another lumpsum on a new battery. Please advise.
