I purchased an Exide battery (12EB9-B) on 07/03/09 from Delhi since i was posted in Delhi at that point of time. I got transferred to Kanpur recently and faced problem with the battery. I approached dealer with complaint and they sent the battery for claim.
Claim was rejected after a month stating"Battery found in deep discharge condition, could not revive after recharging" This is not a manufacturing defect

Actual exide battery company is a no 1 frod company of world. coz i mr dileswar ku patro ( service incharge ) in escorts tractors Dealership point.with OE battery company give 15 month warranty from date of manufatureing but exide company very bad for her customer service if any battery come s reject in warranty period exide service take a strong step towards how to reject this battery for not repacement underwarranty.her 1 st step for reject-warranty not accepted for coz service record not mentioned timely- 2 nd step battery recived in deepdischarge condition. 3 rd step- battery is found low gravity. and final step custemer not give money for tel malish!
this is very bad coments hearing from exide service for customer if any company exective seen my coment kindly call me i gives u aadvice how to give service. if no then close the company and sleep with her wife.

The statements mentioned are right. Exide do not provide any kind of service and is far to progressive in rejecting claim settlements. the Terms & Conditions mentioned in the warranty card provide a clear conversation of their activities. Unfortunately consumers do not read them at the time of purchase and get cheated.

    I hav purchase car battery from manish battery on 08-08-08 from fasilka shona road gurgaon it started giving truble in august 09 I MADE A COMPLAINT TO DEALER HEREPLACE THE battery with servic battery and sent the battery to exide servic center aftr one and half month deler return the the orignel battry on[protected] by saying that exide has found battery is in good condtion but today my when my son left the hous from shona road gurgaon fr his office at noida 40 km at 1800hars whil reaching at noida battery stop function inbitwen and he cald the help line at noida number[protected] it was ringing sevral times but of no responc kindly do the nead ful to solve the problem my addres is c-24 SECEND FLOOR SOUTHEND FLOORS SOHANA ROAD GTURGAON HARYANA

      Hi Sir/ Madam,


      I was purchsed Yamaha GLADIATOR SS on dated 25/04/2008 from VINAY MOTOR, NR. HIGH COURT, JALNA ROAD, AURANGABAD MAHARASHTRA. After purchasing motor cycle I am facing lots of problem regarding vehicles parts, servicing and harassments by Service center. In this case wrote letter to Yamaha office and shri. Girish came from Pune office. After his suggestion I am settle with Vinay motors, he commit me in future no problem from service centre.

      After some moths I had battery problem. I was go to service centre and complaint for battery he gave the address of Battery dealer and gave advice to check battery and further contact with battery dealer. After 20 days battery dealer called me and gave my battery. He gave one letter i.e. my battery was good in condition and no problem in battery. One mechanic from Vinay motors with me at that time. I and he go to Vinay and changing one part of wiring I don’t know about the part name. It’s cost about Rs. 500 /-. In that I was not purchased that part.

      Every time why customer pay for Yamaha Accessories & why Yamaha Motors purchased ordinary part for its vehicle. Which was damage one by one in every month? In the case of battery it is old or not capable to work with self start function. Your dealer gives every time excuse to customer and his service is so poor. At same time as compare to Hero Honda service centre he take low fees and give satisfied service to customer. His customer is happy about his service. I am purchase Yamaha gladiator to see Yamaha label but Yamaha can’t provide better service in Aurangabad city.

      My Friend also same problem from Vinay Motors i.e Yama Showroom. His name is Subhash Tekale he also purchased Gladiator SS model from Vinay Motors and facing Battery and other poblems.

      This is my second complaint against Vinay Motors, Aurangabad. Pls. kindly attention to my complaint.

      A lots of problem from Yamaha service centre so u warn about Yamaha dealer to give proper and satisfied service to customer.

      yamaha / Gladiator — bad service from the dealer

      hi,

      this is hari from bangalore and few months before i have bought yamaha gladiator through BANGALORE WHEELS DEALER and at the time of second free service delivery the same day my vehicle got collapsed and untill now not rectified from the dealer. no pick up and mileage drown to 30kms/ltr due to their unproffessional service. I went to their service center which is 20kms from my home but that day they refused to rectify my problem and also they have made so many mistakes on my RC book and insurance which i have roamed to their office many times to get rectified.I would request you people to not prefer this dealer any more or stop buying yamaha products.
      I too have faced a similar problem with Orion Motors (opposite forum). So far, all the services have been bad.
      They have been charging hefty sums and service is pathetic. They do the routine washing and charge for spares. I'm fed-up with their service and have complained many times, and am left with no other option, as the only other service center near my place, is closed down.

      Yamma Gladiator — FOR repairing

      I was purchased yamma Gladiator Chasis No. 5YY8007989 and Engine No. 06F5YY8007989 after purchasing the bike in 5 months the engine of the bike seezed. and your dealer cant do nothing after this I repaired it and many of the time its comes problem and many of the others. I want to detail of wiring and parts of the bike

      Exide Battery — extra charges taking by dealer

      I am Ramesh kumar I purchase a bike bettry of exide com. of rs.650 in 15 month worrenty after some time about 2 mounth that demage & not proper working. I was in dis setisfection I complained about this to deeler & go there about 5 time. all the time they charged & return to me, after takin charging amount rs.30. at last I was angry on them, then they decided to replace my battery at taking further amount taking rs.80 I want to know there is a prociger to take extra money on replacing on battery as it was on warrenty .I want suitable decesion on it. thanks

        i have purchased one microtech inverter and excide battery from m/s shine electric at kharagpur-721301 and vat has been claimed @12.5% with VAT no-[protected].but as per govt norms VAT should be 4%.also another excide battery was purchased from the same dealer on 14/10/2008 for my indica with a VAT @12.5%.
        other than this the shine electric has not been cooperating me for the defectivepart of the battery despite of several intimation

        Dear sir,
        i want to purchase a 5 kva inverter with battery i have collected some quotation"s also from 4-5 dealers but there is a great fluctuation in prices of same company's product (both inverter and battery).

          Dear sir,
          i have purchased 2 no.Exide invatubular batteries having no's 56044/1M07 & 56094/1M07 from their dealer in Allahabad M/s G.B.SALES on 23/10/07. Batteries are having replacement warranty of 30 months, both batteries were taken to the dealer for replacement when they stop working, he assured me that it will be replaced shortely, but now he is telling that company is not taking care & not replacing the same , kindly help me to get the justice.

            Dear Sir

            This is to inform you that I am a customer of Exide battery, have taken the model -MATRIX car bettery before 1 year, whice having 3 years full warranty.now I am facing some starting issues in my CAR. as there is no charge in my battery.

            Yesterday I have called exide help line no[protected] but the executive told me that they are unable to replace/ services the bettery from my billing address.

            Please help to resolve my issue as it is very difficult for me to carry the battery without my CAR.

              I purchased a battery from Surya batteries,140/50 Madhavaram high road,Perambur(OPP Brinda Theatre) for my scooty pep on 16.10.08.This battery not charged and i faced starting problem in my vehicle..So i handed over the battery to the dealer for service on 23.09.09.Since it is in gaurantee peririod they sent it to exide workshop. Every day the dealer is telling the battery is coming from workshop and Im not getting the battery and a good response from the dealer...

              I bought 38B20RMF type Exide Battery from Exide Dealer M/S Camac at 2E Camac Street, Kolkata-700 016 on 28.04.2006. The serial No. of the battery is 321631 and Mfg Code is 406. The battery is regularly (at monthly interval) brought in to the dealer for servicing. On all occations till recently the battery on checking the cell gravities during servicing were all found to be perfectly in order. It is only recently (about 10 days before) that one cell of the battery on checking was found to have rendered dead with a dark mark appearing on the upper surface of the cell. I want to know if this could be regarded as out come of natural ware and tear of running the battery or the same could be branded as unusual for searching remedy?

                I am Subrata from Bhubaneswar, Orissa. On 30.09.2009 , my car didn't start.When I check up the dash board, I have ound a card of EXCIDE Bat Mobile free service. I thought this is the EXCIDE Industries, I rang up to the number 3271 11 11 printed on the Card. I asked them are you from EXCIDE Industries , the customer care executive smartly answered yes. Accordingly, the Mobile Van turned up and check my battery. they replied that your battery has been defused and you have to take to our nearby dealer for RECHARGE. I say i need to start my CAR. They replied that our duty is to start your car and you can reach to our authorised dealer. I have done the way , they gide us. I reached at the dealer point & they confirm us you need to recgarge your battery. They have offfered a stand by battery having some problem & come in the next morning & take your charged battery. I reached at the dealer point in the next morning. They take away my stand by Battery & replied your battery is dead & you have to change the New one. I have no money at that point of time to go for a new battery. After lots of confrotation. They start my Car 7 I moved to another Battery reapir Shop. They Checked my Battery & rplied it is working. They rechaged it and found that my Battery is perfectly all right.

                It is clearly understood that, these EXCIDE Bat Mobile Service - Bhubaneswar is a Cheating Agent.

                  I have purchased new exide inverter battery on 3-06-09 in 9600/-Rs.from Authorised exide dealer India electronics Opp. Amber cinema,G.T Road ,Modinagar-201204.But from the very first day bettery is not providing desired backup in the inverter.I have send this battery to the dealer once to get it checked.but after getting the battery bach the problem remains the same.I have also get my invertor checked but it is providing the required charging to the battery but battery is not getting charged.

                    I have purchased a new Exide battery from a Exide dealer on 18/09/08,his shop is situated at opp golf club chembur mumbai 74,named as Hari om tyre and batteries.Battery serial no is 098322/2G8-2.I have handed over the battery to the dealer on 17/09/09 as i have 1 more day left for the expiry of 1 year warranty of the exide battery,now the dealer is telling that i cant assure u whether ur battery will be made/exchanged and given back to u and he is taking 10days without giving me another battery from his side to use.

                    So i kindly request Exide company to look after this matter very seriously and sew that dealer who is spoiling companys name.

                    I had purchased a new EXIDE battery type 12EB 2.5 sl-c sr no. 800978 from your dealer M/S RAZA BATTERY SERVICES, (dealer code 52000) Shop no 1, A wing, farzana apts, kurla(w), mumbai-400070.on 27/07/2010. On 03/06/2010 i went to the dealer to check my battery and he found that it was not charging and he said that the cells were dead. He send the battery filling the claim form no.16377 and on 21/06/2011 on CRN NO MUL/MUL/EX/11/09276 got a reply to kindlt arrange to check vehicle. The dealer said that within two days the enginner will come to check the same, but till date no one has turned up.The said dealer is a rude and misguideing person who is spoiling the reputation of ypur company. So i request the EXIDE company to see to the above matter and reply me on my no.[protected] and kindly arrange to check my vehicle.

                      sir,
                      its already around 3 months that i have sent a query which is unsolved misguiding me in every aspects by ur puri dealer and branch head mr. mihir kumar pradhan of berhampur orissa regarding my following complained, which i sent u on july 4th 2009. U assured me to solve the matter soon but now ur officer says the manufacturing date of the new battery was of last year n nothing can be done inspite of its being ur dealers fault. atlast i would like u to take any proper step or it will be from my side not finding any proper solution i'll be lodging a consumer grievance case soon expecting INDIA's JURISDICTION will help me. thank you.

                      my previous complaint :
                      it is to inform u that i shyama panigrahi a customer of exide battery using in my santro zinc car have suffered a lot due to ur dealers misguidance and forceble purchasing of a new battery. i was at puri when my exide battery holding the no.1i7 73814 purchased on 1.08.2008 showed the problem after 10 months of purchase. at puri when i went to the dealer of exide battery GRAND MOTORS he tried to charge but failed n said that i have to buy another one. after my repeated information that my batteries guarantee period was valid. instead of replacing or giving me service he forced me to buy a new one. i also asked him to check if any other problem is there in the vehicle but without listening he argued not finding any hope at night around 10 pm i had to buy a new one. he also promised to take care of the old one but he dint. and on the same night after going 15 kms the battery showed the same problem when i called him he again asked to buy a new one getting frustrated i called hyundi service centre 4 help & after their checking they found that both the batteries were fine but there was dynamo failure and after a great troble i reached home the next day.
                      now the dealer is misbehaving and is reluctant to lodge a complain or take the new battery holding no1j8-98406 purchased on 6.06.2009 after my repeated calls. its already a month but he is not responding . so sir plz help me out of this problem or i will have to take the help of legal jurisdiction.

                      and plz look after the matter soon n let me know.

                      i have purchased a exide invatubular battery IT 500 from kanpur.it is under waranty period.i have sent the battery for replacement on 26 september 2009 to lucknow service centre.the battery serial number is 3U8 3403.i have not received the battery from service centre yet.i want to complain for the poor after sales service and i want the details and the reason why i have not got my battery replaced till now.

                        I have purchased Moter bike no. 6091 bajaj make from Goel motors Patiala on 12/3/2008

                        Batter details :
                        Exide

                        After 6-7 months only, the battery started giving issues and when i finally talked to this dealer Stay Charge, Chandani Chownk Patiala and

                        asked him to replace the battery. He informed that he will Charge the battery and charged Rs. 30 for the same but after a month it sarted giving problem again than he done the same and charge Rs. 30. In Feb 2009 and again handed over the battery to him on and he lost the battery and after 3 visits he handed over the battery to me by saying that it is not our responsibility to entertain u again and again. in the mean time the gurentee period was over.

                        Hoping an early reply in the above matter.

                          I purchased a Excide Inverter Battery IN1500 Plus Mg. Code 3J8, Sr. No. 077571 Dt 11/01/2009 along with Branded new Inverter with the Dealer ANAND MOTORS, 297D, Abu Lane, Meerut. Within few days discharging problem start occuring. Dealer get checked the Inverter and get charge the Battery, which last for few more days and the situation is the same again. The rude behaviour of the Dealer and his staff astonished us,if we are dealing with the India's one of the best Battery company or a local one. We again request the company representative to visit and replace the Battery immediately.

                            i purchased TATA Indigo car last week of september 2009 with exide battery from Surat Autherised Dealer of TATA Moters. Since a week back my car not getting start due to week battery back up. i spoken to car dealer but they are saying the warrenty times is passed so we are not ressponssible for that. i dont know what to be done for futher. i had drive my car only 15000kms if battery will last for every 15000kms how costly it will be.

                              Hello,

                              We are from Effort BPO Limited , Indore (M.P.). Effort BPO Purchase SMF 12v-100 ah 40 Batteries from the local dealer of Exide M/S Gayatri Interprises, on 27-9-08.

                              From the past 4 months 4 of our batteries gone faulty showing less charging current, Exide Engineer visited the site and conform that UPS Charger is of low capacity.

                              However UPS Engineer clearly refused such possibility and still replaced the UPS after 1 week again our 2 batteries gone faulty with the same problem. all our batteries are still in warranty period, but the Exide company is refusing to replace them stating the reason of faulty UPS.

                              Please give me some suggestion What to do?

                              Dear Sir,

                              I Have Purchased an exide battery from Laxmi Scooters. Shop No.561, [censored]ladevi Chawl, D.N.Nagar, Opp. Indian oil, Andheri West, Mumbai - 400 053. on dated 26th September 2008. and its model is 12MX5L-B. but due to some fault now it is dead, ( not working ).
                              when i went to the shop where i have purchased the battery for replace he didn't took back and gave favorable reply to me.
                              the shop owner told me that the warranty of exide battery is expired but in my warranty card it shows me the warranty is still 25th September 2009. the shop owner told me that the warranty is expired and couldn't do anything for that, but in my warrranty card it shows the warranty still under the date of 25th of this month. he told me that go where ever you want, but i can't do anything.
                              that's why i have been registered a complaint in Jago Grahak Jago. and they where registered my complaint and given me a complaint number also.

                              pls. look into the matter and do as early as possible.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I Have Purchased an exide 4 (four) battery from GOGATE SALES PVT LTD, near Gavkari Press Nashik 422001, . on dated 6th April 2010. and its model is Inv +180 Ah or Sr no is 1) 3A[protected]A[protected]A[protected]A0-76388 but due to some fault now it is dead, ( not working ).
                              when i went to the shop where i have purchased the battery for Service & replace he didn't give the proper service or soloutions for battatry and gave favorable reply to me.
                              the shop owner take up exide battery 2 time on dated[protected] & 1 -9-2010 for the period of 2 month but they west our time & money (rs 500 rupees charge) but my Battary warranty Card shows me the warranty is 18 month of purchaseing date. the shop owner couldn't do anything for that, he told me that go where ever you want, but i can't do anything.
                              pls. look into the matter and do as early as possible.

                                I abhishek kumar bye a inveter(microtech) with exide invatubler battery IT-500 in june-july 2009,But i got a problem in my battery. the battery will liquage acid from top,I complain in Exide company but there is no satisfactory reply from them,they say me to bye a niddle and suck some acid from it. I say him to send a service man to see the problem and to solve it but they cut the phone very rudely.
                                i want a service man come from exide and solve the problem.

                                  Purchased Battery with 36 months warrenty but this is under quality hence pls. advice how to proceed as the dealer is not replacing the same.

                                  the servicece from exide battery is ver poor . i have also purchased one exide battery no. 3J8-07183 inva plus from barbil orissa on 18th feb.09 on 25th march i have given the battery for replacement because it stoped giving service even after full charging & full gravity.
                                  the dealer has sent it to service center of exide At Barbil who are not at all customer friendly. he says to talk with seller & the seller mundip traders says to contact service center .
                                  I dont know why the batteries are sold by them without having proper customer care at barbil . they have sent my battery to Rourkela & after seven day there rply is that your battery would not be replaced & they have made it ok . but when I will get back my Battery back they says that no date can be given whenever it will be sent from rourkela it will be given to us .
                                  you know that the summer has already started & power position is not ok nowa dys at Barbil then How & why one should live witout backup after spending 11000 rs/ in battery only . is not exploitation of the customer why the dealed or the seller shall provide one battery to such custemer as an make shift arrangement if the time for return of the battery is not fixed in there service centers .

                                  I have buy to 2year ago Activa. but one year my Activa battery Problem.i have go to exide delar shop n told to so time my battery problem. one week i put the my vehicals battery in exide delar after the battery charg n fit to vahical. i told u that plz replace new battery but the delar say no problem this battery is ok...but last 2 month my battery problem now my worranty period is finish...
                                  plz ur suggest to me. i have buy to exchange new exide battery.
                                  what price in Activa Battery n what time in Worrany Periory?

                                    I(Guddu soni) want to complain for exide battery backup.In last some days, some problems are created by ur battery while my rental house electricity and the power consum are going to be well position like-
                                    I am using presently,
                                    * One cealing fan (singer com. )
                                    * three CFL's 20watt (bajaj com.)
                                    *Two 0 watt bulbs

                                    Always the electric power supply is on 14-13 hrs everyday in my town i.e. 210 volt is running by the stablizer.
                                    I used microtek 600VA digital inverter Serial no. 6LGANX59486.

                                    I am using the battery for 4-5 hours per day.
                                    When the battery backup problem begin to create properly i informed my dealer but not found good response.
                                    So I want to exchange my battery because this reason i am always suffered.

                                      I had purchaded a new Bajaj Platina 125cc on April 6th 2009, within two months of purchase the battery became weak as the self start & indicators stopped working. On showing of bike to the exide battery dealer I was informed that one of the cell of the battery was weak hence the same was sent to Exide for checkup as it was under warraty period of 1 year. When I received the battery after a week from the dealer the verification form mentioned that the right side of the battery was damaged & hence there was a leakage & no replacement will be made for the same & I should claim the same from the Insurance company. Then I went to the bajaj bike dealer Cozy India ltd at byculla where I was informed that it is not our responsibilty as there is physical damage done to the battery & to add to it they said even if I claim from Insurance company I will get only 50% of the amount as compensation from the insurace company & on top of that I will have to bear claim charges of Rs 200/- as well. The question here is where does the consumer land in such scenario? Plaese help as my ramzan is going on & I am fasting & working the whole week & in the midst of all this I am being bounce like a tennis ball between the court of the Bajaj Bike Dealer & Exide Batteries

                                        Hi all

                                        Iam the one who lodged the first complaint against Flexi Deal. I actually did a thorough check on the club and also met the key people of the club namely Prakash who is the GM for this club. Its the marketing person whom i have decribed in my fist complaint who has given false promises. Actually the GM took whole of his time explaining the stuffs and he really is doing a good job in other parts like Real estates and stuffs. So all the people --- This club is Genuine. My onle request to Prakash the GM of the company is to make sure you appoint a sensible Marketing Manager who commits what you really can offer. This will really help u to fetch more customers. So guys go ahead in enrolling without any doubts.So guys Iam taking back my complaint. If you need any more update please feel free to call me at [protected].
