Sub: Request to replace with a new battery as it was not working properly right from the beginning. The dealer who supplied the battery closed his business during the corona period

I had purchased the inverter battery from VINAYAKA Battery Services, No 1, Dr Ambedkar Street, Shenoy Nagar, Chennai 600030. I had purchased the same on 23/9/2019 and it was not working properly and had no backup right from the beginning. I had bought it to the notice of the dealer and he promised to do the needful.
However, during the corona period, his shop was closed and I could also not reach your office too and moreover, I had misplaced the bill and had to get in touch with the dealer to get the copy of the bill. I had gone several times to the dealer's place but the shop was closed, finally, I came to know that he not only has closed the shop but also closed the battery business immediately after I purchased the battery.
Finally found the bill and I immediately contacted customer care and they send the Exide service engineer and he too confirmed that the battery is faulty and I have crossed the period of replacement of the battery and I am on pro-rata warranty. I am not interested in the pro-RATA warranty as I feel I am being cheated. I want you to understand that first of all I was provided with a faulty battery, I made all efforts to contact the dealer and the company during the warranty and corona period. Thirdly I always trusted the quality of Exide and purchased the battery, now I am surprised the quality has come down drastically, I hope you will restore my trust in Exide quality by replacing my battery and be fair and just in your decision
