My battery for A star vehicle which is registered in website . S.No - A3D8G426900 was purchased by me on 15/7/2018 & it has failed today. I made complaint in the website & called call centre @[protected] four times. No one from batmobile called me so far . My first complaint was at 9 AM. I have now given battery to r dealer Sai battery works Pune - Mr Satish Sharma, mobile [protected]. He has taken the battery after giving me standby battery. Service of Exide thru the call centre/ website is hopeless. Please replace my battery as it is less than 2 years old

    Please see few details for assessment of sequence for replacement of battery during warranty period.
    1. Date of purchase: 10.11.2018.
    2. Name of Dealer: M/s Om Battery, Delhi
    3. S. No. of Battery. A5H8B0135905H83
    4. Model of Battery: FMLO-MLDIN44LH
    5. Complain No. 235703
    6. Date of complain: 06.11.2018
    During service of car, it was came in my knowledge that batteries cells are not giving showing proper gravity of liquid and required output voltage also not seen at the the terminal end. Accordingly complain was made through customer care no. with ticket no. 235703 on 06.11.2020. Accordingly message was came on my mobile that Mr. Prashant Tyagi shall attend the complaint on 10.11.2020, but they turned up on 11.11.2020 after checking of battery, it was taken to check at their workshop/office for proper investigation. On 13.11.2020, they returned back and fixed the battery into car. In their opinion battery is order & there is no problem in it. But very next day, battery was checked my by me and it is found half green & half white. Car was immediately sent to mechanic to proper checking the electrical system. After thorough checking of 2 to 3 day, mechanic confirmed for low gravity of liquid on cells for reason of discharging frequently. It was also observed for last some period.
    Therefore it is requested to change the battery immediately for avoiding awkward positions during running of the vehicle.

    Sir,

    For last 23 days no proper response is given from the end of Exide. Vehicle is lying idle due to non replacement of battery.

    Kindly replace the battery within 24 hrs, otherwise there will no option to me to take appropriate action as deemed fit. Any cost towards replacement of battery from my end shall be borne by Exide.

    This is for kind information & further necessary action from your end to maintain healthy relation between company & customer.

      I had purchased a car battery type FMLB-ML38B20R on 06.10.2020 from DEALER JNB TRADERS, 136, DIAMOND HARBOUR ROAD, KOLKATTA 700060.On 20.11.2020 the said battery was seen to be fully discharged as my car did not ignite. On checking it is found that battery chamber indicator is totally white. I went to the dealer with the battery immediately as it is close to my residence. The dealer took it for charging. On 21.10.2020 at 19 hrs as the dealer advised I went to bring the battery after giving charging fee when I checked the battery I saw the indicator chamber is still white. One staff of the dealer checked in meter and it is shown 13.12 and insisted me to take the battery but I did not as the battery is only one and half months old and such defect is a manufacturer defect and required to be replaced.         Hello,

        I purchased exide battery from "Samir Automobiles", Sardarnagar Ahmedabad, Gujarat, invoice attached, on 4-Apr-2018.

        During this lockdown in the month of April, I experienced issues as battery got discharged and I called up the dealer and was told that they are not working due to lockdown. Soon after lockdown got over, I approached them and was told that there was extension provided by exide but it is just over by two days and if I give this for replacement claim, due to work load it will not be checked and I will have to pay 50% of the cost because there are lot of replacement requests due to lock down to resolve issues company is straight away putting all requests at pro rata basis of replacement . The dealer further assured me that battery is okay and he recharged it. I trusted and got the old battery fitted again. But it kept getting discharged and I frequently visited and got the battery recharged for which I was charged 300/- Rs.

        Now, I am fed up and last I visited 10 -12 days back he said that you can get a new battery ay 50% warranty, meaning I will have to pay half the price to get the battery replaced, which will be around 4000/- Rs.

        He kept me misguiding and I kept getting annoyed on roads seeking help and getting it started by paying emergency charges to local vendors for jump cables.

        This is very frustrating and I am a very old customer of Exide rather purchasing from Samir Automobiles since past 15 years.

        I strongly believe that I should get a replacement battery at no additional cost under warranty as I approached dealer quite well before the warranty expired. I don't know what was his benefit or workload or whatever since he kept denying a replacement warranty.

        Please, take this on priority as I cannot bear such a loss at no fault of mine and am not using my car since past 15-20 days.

          Sir,
          I gave my battery for warranty replacement. It has been more than 16 days but the dealer is not responding properly for replacement of battery, So I request that please tell the dealer to replace my battery as early as possible.
          He is telling the reason there is no Stock in the company. So delay is happening but also not telling the date of replacement.

              Hello,
              This refers to 4 wheeler Battery replacement complaint # WMAH1642637 lodged on 23rd september, 2020.
              I had purchased the above 4 wheeler battery in Feb, 2020 and in Sept2020 it stopped working and was sent for replacement by a Dealer in Sewri, Mumbai.
              Since then I have been following up with the dealer and also made various complaints to Exide Customer Care but there is no resolution on the same.
              Exide needs to understand that during Covid19 times, common man is dependant on his four wheeler to make sure safety of himself & family.
              But still after rigirous followups even after 45 days there is no resolution to my complain and the replacement battery has still not reached me and I have to travel by public transport which is putting me and my family at risk.
              I would like Exide to provide my battery at the earliest as if anyone in my family is found COVID19 positive because of their careless service attitude, then I will hold Exide liable to pay compensation to me or my family.
              Kindly resolve my case asap.

I would like to inform you that since its been around 60 days and I didn't get the delivery of my repaired battery yet. So I request you to please look into the matter and deliver the battery within a week otherwise I have to take some legal action against it.

                            My self Dr. Anirudh Naidu i am customer of exide mileage car battery i purchased in the year 2019 and it was gone downhill within a year where the warranty was of 2 years..
                            I have made a complaint and given my battery for replacement in of the exide care centre in latur Maharashtra
                            And i called several times to customer care from last 2 days they said they will call us back with the update but there is no call back...!! My complaint number is WMAH1639167..:
                            My problem is not resolved i have made a complaint on 29 th of september.
                            If this is how u treat the customer ur customer rating would go down... please do the needfull of getting mu battery as soon as possible... I am a doctor and its hard for me to do my service towards the society

                                I purchased a battery bearing number A4E9B036071 on 12th August 2019 from Sree Gowri Battery Center, Pondicherry. The battery failed on 2nd October 2020 around 17:30 hours at Chennai. I immediately lodged a complaint on your toll free number bearing number 366140. As there was no response I called up your toll free number at 10:30 AM on 03rd October 2020 but a BATMOBILE service technician Mr.Shanmugam was deputed to my address at Velacherry around 15:00 hours (21 hours after lodging a complaint) by Mr.Durga Prasad. After checking the battery the technician stated that the service centre was closed for the day and spare battery was unavailable. I was advised to wait till 05th Ocyober 2029 as 04th October 2020 (Sunday) was a holiday.

                                This clearly shows lack of empathy and customer focus and tantamount to deficiency in service.

                                I strongly condemn the lackadaisical approach of the Service team.and seek replacement of the defective battery.

                                    I had to send the car for repair & it was informed that battery is not getting charged even alternator & other thing related to charging is working properly. My car no mh 02 ch 5790 is in the honda city authorize service station / showroom namely samara honda, mayapuri, new delhi.

                                    1. I informed this to the dealer and based on the complain i received call from mob no [protected] from mr chandan on 15th sept 2020. He asked certain details which was not available with me. I requested him should i provide this no to honda people to call you. Which was agreed.
                                    2. Based on this i advised honda people to contact him.
                                    3. It was told by mr chandan to honda person to call toll free no, when asked the toll free no he did not provide that and asked to search it.
                                    4. I requested the battery dealer again the whole thing he provide me the toll free no[protected]. This no was tried many times but no fruitful outcome.


                                    I would request you to please look into this matter & i am sure you will do that.

                                      I purchased a new battery din50 mileage battery worth 5k for my car and after fitting immediately i realised that the battery indicator is showing white instead of green.

                                      I called him atleast 9 times and no response, if he is not interested atleast i expect a reply right? This kind of dealerships will ruin exide reputation.

                                      I was told to take amaron by atleast 3 of my friends and well wishers but i stil stand by exide because our family use exide batteries only believing they are the best batteries, we use it for our inverters, cars and bikes no other battery comes in, this is my first complaint with exide and is resulted to be very disappointing.

                                      Adding inverter battery bills also which proves that i use only exide and am a genuine exide customer.

                                        I bought this battery and was asked by the dealer to wait for the bill due to some technical issues in his office software. He kept on going about the bill being generated and will take time in reaching me. After talking and everything, he seemed like a professional and he was coming down himself to deliver the battery. That's why i bought the battery from him. I understood that he was facing some technical problems and i cooperated. Since then i have asked him multiple times for the bill but i didn't receive it. It would've still been understandable that a bill was generated but some changes needed so they regenerate it. But in case of my purchase there was no bill generated. I find receive the bill and after a few days i raised it with exide care customer care email id. I haven't heard back on the request still and i don't know why i do not have the bill with me.in such a scenario how will i be compensated for the mental and physical exertion i had to go through with this behaviour from one of exide industries dealers? Do we get bills for purchase at exide or was i mistaken? When will i get a bill for my purchase?
