I very much regret to complain that i do not get any attention/reply to my e-mails as well as service requests from federal bank.

Kindly see the following e-mail i had sent to shri babu k. a., head – retail business, federal bank ltd., ernakulam on april 7, 2016 for which i have not received any reply as yet. (this account is held among mrs g venkiteswaran, nv venkiteswaran and c venkiteswaran)

Dear sir,

Thank you very much for your undated letter sending therewith a new debit card.

Kindly clarify if this is also an international debit card. the card which expired was such one.

I am likely to undertake a journey abroad early next year. so if the card sent to me is not an international debit card, you may please let me know how to get one.

Whilst on the subject, i wish to bring one or two things to your notice so that federal bank may consider ways and means to improve its performance whereby its customers may not be put to avoidable inconveniences. this is not a complaint as i have stopped complaining.

My old card expired with february 2016 and i got the new card today (7 april 2016) from the branch for which i had to contact them today and yesterday.

The envelope containing the card states “unclaimed return to sender” and bears a date of 22/2/16. this is my first such experience with a courier. there have been instances in the past where the couriers have found my door locked.in all such cases they had not returned the material/s. they either made another attempt (successful this time!) on their own or left a ‘sorry we missed you’ note advising me to get in touch with them to claim the material/s.

The envelope bears another date as 22/03/2016.

As i stated earlier i had to contact the branch, twice to get the new card.

I was inconvenienced as i could not withdraw cash from atm yesterday.

Dear mr. padmanabhan

May i recall the discussion we had somewhere in feb this year, regarding replacement of my debit card expiring in march. you had said that a new card would be sent to me automatically by federal bank.

I received the card all right, although there were mix ups. the card was sent back by postal authorities and then they sent it your branch where it was lying for weeks!

After our discussion as aforesaid, i had forgotten about the card but the old card was active till sometime in april. only when it said the card had expired did i remember that a new card was to be received. then i contacted your branch and collected the new one, where after i destroyed the old card.

But after two days or three, ms archana from your branch called me to inform that the new card was deleted from the bank’s system. she said that a fresh card was being issued and would be delivered to me soon.

Accordingly another card was received by me, this time the postman delivered it at my residence, but the covering letter stated “as requested by you” etc. i did not take cognisance of those wordings till i saw a debit – on 16 april 2016 - of rs. 57 as fee for issue of a card.

I brought it to the notice of ms archana when she said she would reverse the entry. it was not done. and so when i saw her again, in may, i asked her if it needed to be reversed by ho/hq. she answered in the negative and assured that it would be done immediately.

It did not happen even in july and when i called on her to ask about it she said it was not necessary for me to go to her for that and as usual promised to reverse the entry.

But alas it did not happen even then.

I phoned ms archana on 2nd august when she said she would call me back in 15 minutes.

Till this time neither has she called me nor has the wrong debit been rectified.

I am very sorry to state that this is not the first time it is happening. on one account or the other i had always been put to inconvenience. you are also very well aware of these.

You know me very well as i am not the one to bring any harm to anyone.

We are in september and the querries/problems raised as back as april are not yet resolved. to sum up:
1. some of their letters are not dated,
2. clarification sought whether the present debit card is international debit card or not, is not received,
3. the card was returned and then sent to the branch, who did not inform me,
4. the branch (ms archana) deleted the card from the system and yet bank charges were debited to my a/c for no fault of mine!
5. bank charges have not been reversed despite my several requests,
6. federal bank has not replied to my e-mails dated 7 april and 7 august.

Federal Bank on 17 Sep has credited back the charges they took from me for their mistake.

The Debit was on 16 April and they reversed it only on 17 September, that too after I taking

up the matter here.

    I would like to you that i called your customer care office a lot of time for an activation of mobile banking, fednet, am used this application above one year unfornunately i update that app from play store, since that app is not responding from last week. So i called your office so many times, as well as bank varification already...

    1. Making account Inactive for not having transactions even for just 6 months and not informing customer, while actual rule is 1 year as per RBI. 2. Deleting debit card from account telling there is not transactions and not intimating the customer by any means in spite of having phone number and address . 3. Thus locking his money. Have every proof.

      I have HL account number - [protected] with Federal bank Thane Branch.

      as per the Home Loan statement provided by Federal bank, I am being charged Late Payment charges every month.

      This is not possible that my EMI can be delayed because ours is an ECS from Abhyudaya Bank and we have near 1 lac more than required balance in this ECS account.

      I have explained entire case to Ms, Vasudha from Thane branch in the month of May 2016.

      its been 3 months there's no response from bank, every-time we call them for update, They say they will call back but never call back.

      Our CIBIL score is getting impacted due to this unnecessary penalty and irresponsible behavior of bank.

      Request you to escalate this matter and get things clarified.

        My company in Kerala opened a salary account ( no. : [protected]). As I left the company, no salary is credited since 2014. So I want to close the account but the bank is asking for Rs. 3600/ as negative balance which was not informed to me when the account was not used from 2014. It is the responsibility of the bank to inform its customers to inform about all the penalties before. I did not know that I have to pay the amount to close it.

          I have deposited an amount of rs.2200 in the cdm of girinagar branch,
          On 14/05/2016, around after 10pm.
          Now its saying that the amount is not in the bank acc i deposited.

          I took rs.2200 from federal bank atm next to the cdm machine, from my icici bank acc (salary acc).

          Atm and the cdm were placed so near.

          I took the money from the atm and deposited in the cdm.
          And my money was taken by the cdmachine without any problems.

          I contacted the branch manager. i'm not at all satisfield with his response. he is saying he can do nothing.

          At the time there was a watch man in the room.
          Definitely cctv camera will be there.
          Pls refer that too.

          Federal bank's 'dumb machine' actually took my money.
          I clearly want a solution.

            My name is sajjad kutty and i am a federal bank nri customer (chathannoor branch) for more than 30 years. due to the relation with the manager he introduced me this idbi policy by making me believe that 2 lakhs 45 thousand will be your amount after 5 years and you have to pay 40000 per year. now the period is completed and i had claimed the amount. but the amount credited is 15, 8000 in my account instead of 2 lakhs 45 thousand. i had paid 2 lakh as solid money to the agent of idbi working in chathannoor branch. i understood it is a clear case of cheating but i need my money which i paid as cash 2 lakhs. my trust to the bank is no more and i am going to withdraw all my son and brothers nri account including mine. i had already coordinated with the previous manager and the idbi but they are telling that the bank is in loss so cannot give the settlement. will you say that the same for the deposits after some years that the bank is in loss so you also loss your money.

            An amount INR 1749.00 is issued from amzon and that amount not received in my account. And amzon peoples telling that bank people are received that amount. please check the issue. and sort out

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              As I have taken Home loan in your Bank( Bangalore -- Basavangudi Branch) and I am paying my EMI
              since 8 years I have not even kept any pending EMI even though
              I have paid my EMI late but I paid with late payment penalty, since 8 years I have not faced
              any problem with anybody from the bank people or employees,

              Due to personnel problem and I was in hospital for 10 - 15 days as my son got operated I am
              writing this mail late...

              now since 20 to 25 days I have been tourchered & irritated me by your bank people I am getting
              calls daily and continously from past 20 to 25 days
              as I am not able to work in my office and even I am not able to concentrate on my personnal
              work even I am not able to drive my bike...
              Your bank people are behaving stupidly, because of your bank people I am facing lot of
              problems, your bank people doesn't have common-sense if I disconnect
              the call they don't even think why the customer is disconnecting the call they will not wait or
              they will not call after 10 or 15 minutes after disconnecting the call,
              your people will doesn't understand in which situation the cusotmer is whether he is driving
              the vehicle or he is in any important meeting or he is in the
              hospital you people will not think you people will not give us time to park the vehicle,

              My problem is on 26 MAY when I was driving my 2 wheeler I was in the signal, I crossed the
              signal and when I was moving the vehicle I got a call from your
              bank people I disonnected the call as I was on the vehicle as traffic police were checking for
              vechile documents traffic police saw me and he stopped me and told me
              to park the vehicle side and he was standing in front of the vehicle, while stopping the vehile
              again I got call from your bank people even though I am disconnecting
              the call continuously they are calling me 10 times in 2 seconds just imagine how much your
              people are irritating I am not able to stop the vehicle I am not able
              to park the vehicle I am on the vehicle and I am disconnecting the call continously I am
              getting call from the number [protected] and I am not able to put my
              phone in silent mode and she is not living me to put my mobile in silent mode traffice police
              saw as I was hold mobile in my hand and taking time to park the vehicle,
              traffic police lost his patience and grabbed my mobile phone and pulled me from my bike, while
              grabbing my mobile forcefully it got touch to the bike handle and
              my mobile phone display got damaged, while traffic police was pulling me from my bike my bike
              mirror got damaged, as I was using mobile on the vehicle I paid 700
              rupees fine and I took the mobile from traffice police...

              Please find the below questions from me...

              1) I will clear all the dues(20, 000 or 30, 000) which is pending.. & I appologize for what I
              have used bad & valgaur words and shouted on your people
              2) who will pay my loss (i.e, my mobile phone which has got display damaged; find the above
              screenshot which I have attached above)
              3) I have made complaint to Bangalore -- Basavangudi branch they have suggested me to write a
              compliant email
              4) I will not pay my EMI till my mobile gets replaced and you people has to bare my mobile
              loss...

              suppose if I come to your bank and damage the bank properties will you people be keeping quite
              and you people will live me

              I am really sorry to say the below things as I have been irritated and frustrated and ill
              treated me as a defaulter by your people

              If I don't get justice and if you people are not baring my mobile loss I will not keep quite
              and I will put it in all social network & in federalbank.co.in website and TV9 and all Media
              channels
              and I will put defomation case on your people...

                I, sadique, with account in federal bank, cherooty road, calicut, having a lot of bad experience from the federal bank.
                Last cheating experience from federal bank was regarding my salary account started when I was working at calicut.

                I was not using the account for last one year because I was not in calicut and i forgot fednet password also. even though I was getting the statements in email and I checked the last statement which i got on "30-Apr-2016" and my balance was -104.27; So as i decided to make it a positive number and I transferred rupees 1530 from one of my another bank to it.
                The quite surprising thing is, I got another statement on very next day of money transfer with balance as rupees 43.
                The federal bank started cheating not only now, but a long long back onward. Since I am a fool and I continued the relationship with your bank again & again.

                I dont know the magic to make -104.27 to 43.27 after adding 1530 with it.

                If there is some hidden charges why dont they inform customers? how the customer knows the how much the bank will grab from our saving..??

                This is not only one experience .. They took more than one lakh from me in different incidents.

                Any How I DECIDED TO CLOSE ALL THE DEALINGS WITH THEM... And I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANY BODY To have any kinds of dealing with THE FEDERAL BANK

                  Mobile number invalid problem

But they checking and tell all details registred no problems but still i have not using in my fedmobile serivce. Please check the status and inform me.                   We have a above referred current account in your chalakudy branch. Today we have telephoned to your branch in the phone numbers mentioned in bank passbook several times to know about the cheque number of a collection - shown in passbook particulars as obc1881 rs 162983/- credited on 07.05.2016. There is nobody to attend the call.
                  We also wanted to know the credit details of rs 7, 50, 000/ remitted by one of our customer to make fixed deposit in second mentioned account number.

                  We are a miscellanious non banking company fully owned by government of kerala. We are remitting about 30 lakhs on working days and have a daily average balance of about one crore in our current accouts.
                  We are very sorry to say we are not getting satisfactory service from your branch. We hope you will consider this complaint in its proper spirit.

                    I am Priju Surendran, Account holder of Federal Bank, Manamboor branch, Thiruvananthapuram district. Now working in KSA.
                    My wife cash withdraw Rs.34000/- at INDIA1ATM, Nedumgolam. on26/04/2016. But Rs.44000/- less my account. (Rs.10000/-loose).
                    Suddenly I report my bank. and written complaint submit on 27/4/16 C/o my wife.
                    But no response in bank. Now 9 days past. No action.
                    Please solve my problem.

                      This is Sunil B.Ambre.Have availed home loan from federal bank, Borivali-W branch amounting to Rs 3, 58, 938/[protected]@ 12.5% EMI 4079/- having loan a/c no [protected], customer ID 1541139 in the month of May 2007.current EMI amount is Rs 4, 788/- @ 15.70% since last 5 years, which is much more higher then the market rate.When I enquired in the branch, branch manager Mr. Ajoy S said that current rate of interest is @ 010.50%, EMI Rs 3, 708/-but request should come from the customer.I have paid extra Rs 12, 000/-P.A in last 5 years comes to Rs 60, 000/-Humble request to adjust this amount & let us know the outstanding. Thanks for your support in advance.

                      Since last one month there is no response.

                        Actually i found a advertisement on locanto and i will call him for a job he says he needs money 10000 rs i say i don't have enough money to pay so he ask 4000 so i will pay after the payment no reply from shyam ( he introduced as shyam ) i don't know her original name i want to bring back my money please take action against these fraud agency's [protected] it's her number

                          I applied gold loan on federal bank but. There employee tell me you must open compulsory saving account and force me when Account open I have not received ATM and pin no kit. Few months I gone in bank they charge me mentain charges and they tell me you pay charges and close s/v account. My question is why telling me you need compulsory saving account for gold loan.

                            The staff of federal bank have not a proper knowledge about the account opening details. I've gone 7 times in the north paravoor federal bank branch for opening an account. This is the customer care service persons also giving wrong info about the atm card and accounts. If i'm asking the doubts actually they don't know the details. Even they don't know the limit of master card. Ridiculous

                              This application is not working after the successful installation in iPhone6 Plus. I am getting an error message like "APP is in intermediate state, contact customer care". Customer care people says that it is a problem with your iPhone try to contact iPhone customer care. Earlier I had the same problem and rectified by Federal Bank customer care people.

                              Two times offered call back from Federal Bank customer care and didnt received the same. Asked about that, they told like Call Back canceled because they are not ready for that

                              So irresponsible Customer care team.

                                Respected sir, my name is sam chacko, i would like to bring to your attention a customer service issue myself and my wife have savings and checking account with federal bank venmoney branch my a/c no: is ...Today i deposited two cheques of $350 but the branch manager was kind of rude in his dealings and replied that it will take 45 days for the transaction clearance and said you don't have any fixed deposit in here so it will take little longer.I never had any issues like this in the past, i noticed this change in the dealings of the manager since i had withdrawn my fixed deposit for some urgent needs.I still have 75, 000 rs in my savings account. I am really disappointed about this incident and even thinking about closing my account with this bank.I would really appreciate your earliest response regarding this matter and expect this would not happen to anybody else in the future.

                                Hello sir,
                                I am Vivek Ravi yesterday on 7th of april 2016 i went to Federal bank Aluva branch for closing my parent's joint account, I reached there about 11 am and asked a lady who was sitting over to help the customers as i asked her the details and procedures to do so she was just wandering here and there without knowing what are the exact procedures to do so, Then one of the staff told me to get my father's death certificate(as my father is no more) as well as mother's signature as the account was dormant to re activate it.and it was about 1 pm when i got this response.I went home took my mother and death certificate of father and reached back to the bank, now the staff over there whom i met in morning( i know her name but not mentioning here)was so harsh talking to me, mean while a very old person came there to withdraw some money she was behaving so disrespectfully to him, as i felt pity on him and i helped him to collect his cash, now its my turn again she is cross checking over the documents and asking me to bring my brother's id proof as he was also account holder (this she could have told me while i went home for taking my father's death certificate), When i asked her about this, she again showed her bad attitude over me.i lost over 4 hours in bank for this sill thing, they could have told me what all essentials are require instead they themselves are confused what to do and wandering here and there asking there co-staffs.Then i was deciding to withdraw the whole amount from the account as she carelessly with attitude over her face told me do what you want, i wrote the whole amount over my cheque again there is discussions going on 1 hour gone now this time they told me i can't withdarw whole amount, i can withdraw whole amount only if i close the account(then why did she tell me that i do what i want)I would never have an account in a bank who have this kind of attitude, at the same time i went union bank for same purpose it didn't even take 5 minutes for them to explain the procedures.

                                  I am shamshid milakkattu kandy holding an account at thamarassery branch of federal bank in calicut, kerala wants to submit a complaint about the misbehaviour of a staff...today evening I just went to this branch with my family to open a locker...but the staff whom I asked the details about it was busy with some other things...and I waits ther for almost 15 min., but his behaviour was really arrogant...I informed the matter to branch manager..

                                    I am Abdul Rahuman, account holder of vakkom branch(kerala). Am facing unsatisfied issues with customer handling by the workers.i came here to close the loan today(30/1/2016) from 9.50 onwards and they are delaying more than an hour which is disgusting and even they are not at all accurate by sorting out.branch executives are just behaving very annoyingly and making simple excuses by saying to wait the cash have to be arrived and just wait to take gold from locker even am waiting for more than 1 hour.am planning to close my account and further dealings if it is continued.i request to take necessary action.
