I had ordered flowers from flaberry.com to be delivered on 14th Feb 2014 for my parents anniversary. They also charged extra as it was a Valentines day.
But they failed to deliver on time. It was delivered on the next day that too late in the evening. This was disappointing as I couldn't get the flowers delivered on the day that mattered.
Flaberry.com is a gifts and flowers website for special occasions but don't understand their importance. When we contacted their online customer care, they didn't even apologize for their mistake. They didn't offer to make up for their mistake on their own and I had to ask them for a refund.
It was then she suggested that they can deliver some cheap chocolates/flowers as a compensation. As the occasion had already passed, I was not interested in them. She asked us to email them our complaint. We mailed them at customerservice AT flaberry.com but haven't got a response from them even after over a week.
It is really disappointing that a gifts website like flabbery.com fails to appreciate the importance of occasions and sentiments of its customers. It is not a normal online shopping website where it might be ok if your books or cameras are delivered few days later.
They shouldn't operate such businesses when they can't fulfill their commitments. The least they can do is offer good customer service after such goof-ups.
