I have ordered a book shelf on 12 Dec, 2015 with order ID OD[protected]. The product was delivered on 27 Dec, 2015 by the Seller @home Engineered Wood. 2 out of the 4 pieces of the book shelf received were found damaged. I immediately tried to ask for a replacement. But the product was NOT showing "delivered" in the Flipakrt App which through I made the order. I immediately mailed Flipkart and even called on their toll free number and told them everything. The Flipkart personnel told me to wait till the status shows "delivered" and then to ask for replacement. To my great surprise, the status was still showing "not delivered" even after 2 days. Then I kept on contacting Flipkart repeated times through emails and phone calls and requested to update the status and replace the damaged parts. Finally on 12th Jan, 2015 it showed the status as "delivered". I am utterly surprised why it took so much time!!
Then the seller contacted me and as requested by them, I mailed some snaps of the damaged parts and the seller agreed to replace it. Since then, I am trying to get an update on the status of replacement, like where the products are at present, when it will be delivered, etc. But Flipkart has no clue after the incident. They don't even know that the seller has agreed to replace the product. Everytime I call Flipkart, a different person picks up the phone and says to wait for 48 hours to get the issue resolved. Then they send mail that it will take 5 more days to resolve. Like this way, I have waited since 27th Dec till today, but yet I have no update. The seller has only one answer, that they are delivering the product, but they have no idea about how much it will take. I asked them to send me the courier agency's details, but they are not providing anything.
So, a product ordered on 12 Dec, 2015, has still not been delivered as on 1st Feb, 2015 and Flipakrt has no idea whatsoever about the status. Inform Flipkart to commit the date of delivery immediately. Else, give me the refund.
