this is mrs. kasthuri from bangalore. I ordered elite book cover for dell venue 8. 30th november i received a message stating the order no as OD[protected] amounting to rs.799/.
on 2nd i received another message on 2nd december that the book cover is packed and ready to be shipped.the same day i got another message stating that the elite book cover has been shipped and will be delivered by wednwsday, the10th of december. on 10th i didn't received the cover. i waited two more days and then called the customer care and enquired about it. the person answered the phone told us the the cover is still with the mother hub. when we insisted whether we can go there and collect it she said she would talk to the concern people and see that the cover would reach us by 18th.december. we also received a message saying they have escalated our issue to the concerned team and will resolve the problem by 18th december. 4.30 p.m.
this morning i received a call from flipcart and the lady called said that our area pin code doesnot match the address hence the order has been cancelled. when i insisted that the address and the pin code is correct she told me to contact customer care. when i called the customer care she also told me the same.i told her that it's the address we are using for past 13 years and 6 months and we have never missed any letters or parcels both national and international, by government and private courier services. so far no courier service has told us the pin code is wrong . she imply said that she is only repeating what is is been updated on the system and she cannot do anything beyond this.she also told that the consignment is been cancelled and if i want the same i have to place a fresh order. few minuetsi received a message saying
"we regret to inform you that our courier partner was unable to deliver your flipcart .com order. we have cancelled the order and initiated refund. please check the email for more detail.sincere apologies for inconvenience caused."
with this regard i would like to strongly object the cancellation of my order.
1. we live in this address for past 13 years and 6 months. our passport, ration card, adhar card, bank passbook, our HP gas connectin, our L.I.C . policies land documents, voters i d and various other important documents bear the same address.and the same pincode 560092. i even checked with my neighbours. even they have the same address and pincode. then how can your courier partner say the pin code is wrong.and based on that you have cancelled the order.
2. our phone number is very much with you and definitly you would have given the same to the courier partner. neither you nor your courier partner bothered to call us. if at all there is a problem in finding the address your partner or your company could have called me, so that i could have directed them. the problem would have solved. you send so many messages before that, atleast you could have sent us a message saying there is a confussion regarding the address. without informing us how can you cancel our order.
without verifying how can the courier partner say our pin code is wrong. you also witout verfying cancelled the order.
i'm very much upset and disappointed by your action. Incapability of your courier partner and lack of commitment on your part has caused inconvenience to me.

I WILL NOT ACCEPT THE CANCELLATION. i want you to honour the order see that the consignment reaches me within a week.
i'm expecting a reply from you.
i would also like to know who is that great courier partner who is incapable of delivering the parcel to us.
