I HAD PURCHASED A GLEN GLASS COOK TOP MODEL GL 1048 GT ON 23RD OCTOBER 2010 FROM BIG BAZAAR, RAVE MOTI, KANPUR VIDE THEIR CM NO. 127/12519 (THE THERMAL PAPER RECEIPT IS NOW FADED, BUT I PAID FOR THE PURCHASES VIDE MY CREDIT CARD AND HAVE THE CREDIT CARD INVOICE)
THE GLASS OF THE COOK TOP SHATTERED INTO SMALL PIECES BY ITSELF ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO. THE SHATTERED PIECES ARE STILL STICKING IN PLACE ON THE COOK TOP.
REQUEST THE COMPANY TO REPLACE THE FAULTY GLASS TOP

    Sir,

    I purchased a GLEN Chimney GL 6014 ON 23/10/2011(BILL #: [protected]). When I opened the packing at home, what I got was an old damaged chimney with full of scratches and rust. I contacted their call center at 42131616 , three times over last couple of days and so far no response from the Vivek management. I request Vivek Management to send replacement Chimney to my place at your cost.

    This is a clear case of cheating. We do not expect such an act from Vivek.

    Cooking range

    The top ring of the 3 in 1 burner is scratched by some hot utensil while cooking as if the ring is made of plastic.

        My name is S Das [protected]. I purchased a Glenn GL 4052 SX from Maharashtra Electronic Corporation 215 M G Rd Pune on 9th July 2011, but we were surprised to find some of the blades including the main chopper to be totally blunt & not usable. We were asked to contact the service centre Mr Jadhav at Katraj service centre ,Service centre person has inspected the same & has agreed that the same needs replacement & till last 30 days there is no action. Now the service dept is informing us that they only can sharpen the blades & return, but for that we have to deliver the blades at service centre & pick it up when it is ready. My question is that if I have bought a new machine why we should get an old blade. Our request to the company is the following :
        1) fresh blades from the company.
        2) moreover since we are unable to use the machine we will demand for extended warranty.

          I have place my order for Glen Food Processor 4051LX on 31st July,2011 while sawing HOMESHOP18 channel, at that time they are showing free gift of plastic air container ( 3 nos) with this, i booked my order on same day vide ref.[protected] but due to some technical error vide generating IVR for payment and it would be finalised at 2.45 p.m. on 31.07.11. When it received on 06.08.11 we found that there was only food processor and with that not recd.free gift which was showing and also food processor also not woring (not on), i immediate complaint when i got delivery vide ref.65830849 on 06.08.11 and continueous follow-up for that but now they are refuse to send free gift and arguee that free gift is not with this item. They are showing the same and now cheat with customer. and also not listen any matter....THIS IS CHEATING AND I WANT TO GET JUSTIFY, how they cheat with customer with that TV show....Kindly solved my problems please

            I have a glen four burner gas stove purchased in January 2010. There are frequent problems in the ags stove wherein one or more burners do not work properly. this problem occurs once in every 40 to 50 days and I end up calling the service company, Chakra Agencies and then their peson would come and do some cleaning and then it will work for a few weeks and the same story repeats.Each time we hae asked the service agent what is the reasona dn he would say, something spilled, dust accumulation or ants.... Despite my telling him that there is no question of dust or ants, he would say the same thing and go. They have a hopeless way of resolving things. First of all, I have to make minimum five calls each time for their person to come. The person never comes on the day promised. Next, they are never able to provide a proper answer or proper solution to us. Evne the manager who runs the compnay is rude. he has hung up the phone on me.My advice, please do not buy any GLEN product.

              I'VE LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH THE SERVICE AGENCY OF GLEN MAKE HOBS ((PH NUMBER OF THE SERVICE AGENCY 0091 [protected])) THAT THE IGNITION OF THE TWO BURNER OUT OF THE FOUR BURNER IS OUT OF ORDER.
              ONE MECHANIC WAS DEPUTED TO MY APARTMENT TO RECTIFY THE FAULT, BUT COULD NOT RECTIFY. IT IS MORE THAN THREE WEEKS NOW.THEY ARE INSISTING TO CARRY THE APPLIANCE TO THEIR SERVICE CENTRE. WHY IS IT SO?...BECAUSE IT IS JUST ONE YEAR AND TEN MONTH OLD WHEN I LODGED THE COMPLAINT AND THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO ATTEND THIS PETTY SERVICE WORK TO RECTIFY THE FAULT AT CUSTOMER PREMISE.THEY ANTICIPATE THAT THE GLASS TOP OF THE GLEN HOBS MIGHT BREAK WHILE ATTEMTING TO RECTIFY THE FAULT AND THEY ARE ALSO INSISTING TO PAY THE REPLACEMENT COST
              IF IT BREAKS IN AN ATTEMPT TO RECTIFY THE FAULT.

                Regarding above subject the matter is that, I have purchase one of glen company's gas stove model no. GL-1049 (GT-[protected]) from Sales India private limited on 14th feb’2010 which has one year fully guaranteed against any defect arising out of defective material.
                Glass top of above product was cracked on 26/01/2011 while my wife was cooking the food on it. We found that there was nothing unusual activity happened during that time. The glass was broken due to its poor quality only
                the compony's authorise peson is refuse to change it thay told that the top is not as a part of guarantee.but my question is if top is a defective than why should they not replace it.
                these things are not suggest at the time of demonstration of your product at that time your representative are give surety that the glass is never been broken even after very hot.
                I have also attach potograph of brolen top for reference.

                  I bought two electric chimneys of Glen company from Kitchern Planet, Inc in Gurgaon. One of the chimney is installed to our staisfaction but the other one was defective and the buttons. On the first day of installation the buttons started to malfunction and it was repaired on complaint but again it started to malfunction. On contacting the vendor again, he started to abuse and use bad language, he refused to help and it looks like we have wasted Rs 12,500 for the chimney.

                    Purchased a chimney under Independence day offer from steel corner, patna. Delivered very late and after delivery took again 15-20 days time in installation and also misbehaved by company's service engineer, Mr. Santoshi. No support from company side extended. Any way before completion of one year tenure even, suction speed slowed down. Service was badly required. A complain was lodged in first week of november. no body attended till date. Information was given to the company on e mail. One reply with sorry received and assured to be attended immediately. After lapse of further 15 days no body attended the call. Whether the practice is fair?
                    Next time, buy under REPUBLIC DAY OFFER !!!
                    INDEPENDENT DAY OFFER means you are on your own. Nobody will help you. You have to do yourself :D

                    Auto ignition not working for some burners

                    I have purchased Glen Stove 2.5 months back and now its auto ignition is not working. Some of the stoves do not ignite automatically. Please help with the issue because it has been a short time only that i have purchased the stove.

                          my name is Salva and i am resident of moradabad ,u.p. .i bought my glen glasshood chimney last year in june.firstly,there was no company label on the chimney as well as no user manual.it got stained a month.atonce i complaint to my dealer but he responded after months.he took the chimney,got it polished and returned.i refused to take it and asked him to talk to company.he told me to keep on using it till company changes it.when i forced him too much,he brought a steel sheet and replaced the stained sheet.there are no indicators on this sheet.i again complaint to him.he said that company has told that it can do only this much and i will come and see.he has not returned till date.at last i told him that i had complained to company he told no problem the company man will come to the dealer first and not to you. i am fed up as i find that the dealer i think has sold a duplicate chimney with your brand name besides its a good costly thing which due to its condition i dont feel like to use or clean.i request the comany as it deal with its image also.my distributors name is agarwal.i rquest the company to send service engineer to me first.

                            i have purchased a new four burner glen gas stove on january 01, 2010. one of the burners is frequently having gas leak and despite repeatwd complaints, the solution each time being a temporary one, the same problem recurs. Further one more burner in burning very sparsely and the flame goes off automatically for no reason at times.

                                I had paid Glen service centre the price of the bracket to fit the chimney after purchasing the product GL 6070 SS. But the product on display was not working and the product was discontinued so it wasn't delivered to me.
                                Now Glen refuses to return the money or the bracket that I have paid for.

                                I have been calling up the Service centre manager for a month now but he gives some excuse or the other and refuses to return my money.

                                  i have purchase glen 3 burner product id 1073, while using the hob i came to know of the faulty knob part.
                                  which will turn while cleaning the top surface, which is very dangerous to ours life.
                                  i have made several complaints regarding this issue, company has send a person may be some helper of technician, who has instructed to change the knob and promise to chane it after 2 days. but after 1 month the complaint is still unattended. and reply to my calls please help before some unforseen happen

                                    I have purchased a Glen's Food processor as I wanted to gift it to mother on the Womens Day. I have placed an order on HS18 for glen product I got my product after several follow-ups and when I got the product the product was not working. I called up their Call centre which is in Faridabad and they told me that they will get back to me. But still I haven't heard anything from their end. Finally I called them again now they are not answering my call. I have informed the HS18 and they told me that its their product and they have to give the services but they didnot helped me.Being an Indian I believe in truth and sincere work but this people are doing dirty work which directly affects the customer as I have made the payment and the product is not working. Even I have informed them via Email three times still no responce. I want justice for this Forum and also want this companies to work in a proper way.

                                      We are a centre of distribution of food for the international community of Auroville, in Tamil Nadu.

                                      In February 2008 we purchased in Planet Excel in JN Street in Pondicherry a 5 gas stove with inbuilt oven, GLEN model 1131.

                                      Just a few weeks after, we realized that the oven did not work well because the door was not closed properly.

                                      Several times we called for servicing, they repaired (apparently) couple of times within 3 months of our calls but again it broke and it was the same after one or two days.

                                      The service support in Pondy is very difficult to get. They take months and months to answer to our calls.

                                      Now, after two years, finally somebody came and said that the spring needs to be changed and that it has to come from Italy... without even the certitude that it is going to happen, because it is an old model which is not being manufactured any more.

                                      We are really so discouraged with this company and we do not understand what type of equipment is this which does not work, nobody knows how to repair and on top of it, does not have spare parts available.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I have bought an Glen Kitchen chimney from Kolkata.The Model No. GL-6058SSBF
                                        size:Glen 27 inch
                                        serial No.:810451.The switch of the chimney is not working and I have made the complain to the customer care. My complain doctet no:97 dated 11/03/2010. after repeated request they are not replacing the switch and more over they are telling lies that we are not at home,where as me a retd. Central Govt officer and my wife always stays at home and no phone call comes from their side.

                                        Sir I request you to please look into the matter and solve my problem as soon as posible.I hope that you will look in this matter seriously and help me out from this problem.

                                        I am facing the same issue, i bought Glen on the basis of their life time warranty and overpaid by couple of thousands but on the very first day the buttons started to malfunction. When i contacted the dealer he started to abuse and misbehave. Glen is the worst chimney to buy, completly frustrating experience.
