My Flight G8-237, PNR FB163N from Delhi to Ranchi on 20th March, 2020 was cancelled by the airline.
I was informed via call that my refund would be initiated within 2-3 working days.
But, It’s been 54 days I haven’t received any mail or call from the airline.

    Dear customer service:
    This is regarding five return tickets from bengalaru to mumbai on march 31, 2020 by go air. The last name of all five passengers is "govindrajan". The pnr# is u5gj8s. I have sent nine emails to go air on this matter. We are advanced age senior citizens with serious medical conditions. We are being harassed & bounced back & forth between go air & our travel agent. Our travel agent says "no refund but only credit note was issued by go air". They sent a snapshot that says "credit note for rs. 10, 345". I sent that snapshot to go air. I have also attached the snapshot to this mail. Go air responded by sending me a snapshot that says "agency payment" for rs. 10, 345". They insist that funds were transferred for rs. 10, 345 even though the travel agent's snapshot says credit note. We have bought tickets from this travel agent for years & they have never mislead us. My father, who is one of the passengers is 90 years old & has been in the icu of hiranandani healthcare pvt ltd-, vashi twice in the past two months (I had attached copies of his icu admission in my earlier email to go air). My mother, another passenger is 83. We have huge medical bills & no income coming in. Our travel agent says that go air has not transferred funds into their bank account on april 7, 2020 as stated by go air customer service. Instead, they have been issued a credit note. They have sent me a copy of the credit note which i have attached to this mail. They say that since they have not received the funds but only a credit note, they cannot issue a refund. I request go air to check with their accounting department & have this matter sorted out with our travel agent"orient tourism pvt ltd". I have wasted an extraordinary amount of time on this matter when my parents are seriously ill.
    Just sending a snapshot that says"agency payment for rs. 10, 345/-"does not help since the travel agents' snapshot attached to my email says"credit note received for rs. 10, 345/- "

      Hi team

      My flight with pnr rbu5xq was cancelled by the airline for 21st march travel before a day and received credit note.
      I was notified that my refund is under process and will be credited to account within 7 days.
      Till date i have dropped them several mails and called too but each time i only get is a sr number and no response. My refund is still pending and i am looking to get back my hard earned money.

      Kindly help.

        Pnr q3idrl and te3zhx. Even i have mailed for the refund for twice but there is no action. My both pnr is eligible to refund as travel date was during lockdown. Function for what we are inviting my relatives is not going to happen now so there is no meaning of rescheduling of travel. Also we are not in the position to take this burden in the crisis. Please do need full.

          The flight is cancelled but instead of refund they are providing credit shell vouchers.

          We are really not in a position for accepting vouchers and due to the pandemic it's very hard for us. Also according to dgca we are entitled to get the refund.

          Kindly look into our situation and refund the amount as soon as possible.

            I had booked flight on go air flight g8 57 having booking reference jf9w4b, flight departure date was 27 march 2020
            Unfortunately, because of covid-19 this flight was cancelled but i didn’t received any email or sms notification yet.
            Two days before the departure date contacted customer care and they promised me, they will refund the amount. Still am waiting for the refund and now customer care number, emails even nodel officer, appell authority not responding,
            Requesting to refund the amount as possible
            And i don’t want to free rescheduling because i lost my job recently and most probably am not planning to go back to dubai
            Kindly refund the amount

              I made confirm ticket through easemy trip having pnr no.- p6sbkp & booking id no.-emt70272065. On dated 15th april 2020 (Sector bom-bbi), due to current situation of covid 19 lockdown. Flight got cancelled, so i made the ticket cancel but neither i got my money refund back (Rs 10, 490) nor i am not able to reschedule my ticket. Please do some needful.

                Dear sir i booked a to and fro ticket from goair PNR#OCH5SN and Q953UJ, for which flight is canceled because of coronavirus and i am asking them for a complete refund but they are forcing me to take a credit shell or reschedule the flight which i don't need i request you to please look into the matter and help me to avail my full refund.

                  I had booked flight on go air flight nog8-145 having booking reference x73rpc.

                  I am common middle man not having much of money i am requesting to refund my money i dont want to travel as my purpose of traveling is done now.

                  Till haven't received any communication from goair which made me insecure and scary that money gone in waste. As i am poor man cannot do anything to firm like goair.

                    I have already canceled an air ticket (Pnr : w6rctc) on 19/03/2020. The journey date was 8th apr.2020 (With in country lock down period). The ticket was flexi ticket too against extra cost. The ticket value was rs.4022/-.

                    During cancellation they mentioned the deduction amount rs.675/- and further mentioned 'balance due' rs.3347/-, but where about the said amount? I should get full amount refund to my same account, where from i paid during booking. By the way, the said ticket was booked by me for my lawyer...

                    I sent two email with such request, but there is no response from go air lines.

                    Complain not yet resolved. The air ticket travel date was between Lock down period. So as per lock down norms, I should get full refund of money. I received only partial refund against the cancellation of ticket, As I paid from my credit card, so on demand, I can present my credit card details after cancellation date. Kindly do the needful and oblige me.

                    complain not yet resolved. I did not get any refund against the cancellation of ticket, When I suppose to get full refund, as travel date was between Lock down period. Even I wrote few time to Goair customer care over email, but they never respond. please do the needful at the earliest.

                    go air personnel PRETENDING with a reply, " Kindly note, as per DGCA directives, the refund clause only exists for customers who have booked and purchased tickets during the first lockdown period i.e between March 25 and April 14 for their travel between March 25 to 03 May. Further, for bookings made before the mentioned dates a full refund is not permitted."

                    I replied ..." Please do not try to misguide a customer or do not try to make fool a customer. As per DGCA, tickets within lock down period should be full refund. When my ticket journey date was 8th April, 2020, when full lock down was going on. During lock down did you run the flights !? So please arrange full refund, without harassment.
                    Further after long drama, you refund me only partially!! Kindly refund balance amount."

                    Yet I did not get full refund. Received only partial refund against cancellation of air ticket during lock down.

                    AND I DO NOT KNOW, WHAT IS CAPABILITIES OR SO FOR PERSUASION AGAINST ANY ILLEGAL DEALING BY ANY SELLER/ SERVICE PROVIDER !! CAN YOU HELP FURTHER ?

                      Sir, i was going to travel delhi to srinagar on date 15/01/2020 departure 9:15 arrive 10:45 my pnr no y969fj. Unluckily the flight was cancelled due to heavy snow fall. From counter authority, they advised me to get full refund asum of the amount. But i don't got the asum of the amount till this date. Please i request you to check my messages.

                        I was traveling from bom to cok on goair g8-347 (Pnr: z5cevi) on the 15th of march, 2020 and had checked-in a small trolley bag with nothing but clothes in it. Upon reaching cochin at around 6:45 in the morning, i waited till the ‘last bag’ call at the conveyor belt for my bag. Since it had not arrived even after, i was under the impression that my bag had not been loaded from bom. I immediately contacted the goair airport executive and informed him of the same. The executive had meanwhile tried to get in touch with the mumbai terminal for further details. While awaiting details, around 30 minutes after last bag call, my bag arrived in a basket, on the conveyor belt, completely destroyed with all my clothes popping out. The zipper had fully came off, the steel wiring was visible outside and the frame was fully dented. The cloth lining on the outside was completely frayed and worn out and looked like it was dragged on the floor and i could also find tire marks on it. The pictures of the same have been attached herewith for your perusal.
                        When asked why my baggages had been completely damaged, the airport executive skirted around the issue and refused to give me any definitive answers.in addition to flimsy excuses, they even insinuated that my baggage had already been in this condition during check in at bom airport. I was then later told that it may have been because the bag fell from the vehicle while being unloaded, however this is highly improbable considering that a mere fall could not have possibly resulted in total destruction. Furthermore, all my clothes in my bag were turned inside out, indicating that the contents of my baggage had been gone through and there were even tire marks on it. The executive as well as the manager was present while i went through my bag and they possess pictures of the same.
                        I have attached images of the damaged baggage herewith for your perusal

                        Pursuant to this, the executive assured me that they would handle my grievance and gave me their duty number to follow up on. After 5 days of incessant calls which came to no fruition, it was on the 22nd of march, 2020 that the duty mobile finally answered. They said they had sent an email expressing my grievance and assured me i would be forwarded the same. however, this did not happen and the number hasn’t answered my calls after either.

                        I have contacted all possible forms and avenues of grievance redressal mechanisms they have offered.in accordance with the guidelines issued by the ministry of civil aviation, i have contacted the goair customer care, their nodal officer and their appellate authority. However, i have received no response from their sides. Furthermore, i have even filed a formal complaint with airsewa, which also has not been responded to.
                        I have even taken to contacting them on all their social media handles, which has been to no effect whatsoever.
                        I have attached images of all my communication with goair and other avenues, in connection with my grievance herewith for your perusal.

                        As per the mca guidelines, which can be found on the goair website as well, in cases of damaged baggage, goair is liable to for upto rs. 20, 000/- in damages. This is only compensation with regards to my baggage.in connection to pursuing this complaint, i have lost money, time and suffered great mental trauma owing to the rude and brash nature of goair employees, who are ideally there to redress consumer complaints as well as their nonchalant behaviour which has resulted in me having to incessantly hound them for redressal. It has only added to my long list of troubles this airline has caused me.

                        I kindly ask that this issue be taken up at the earliest and considered with utmost gravity. No consumer should have to go to such lengths or through such a harrowing ordeal in addition to having a horrible experience with the actual flight journey. The least they could do to make up for the damage was to reach out to me and assure some form of solution or atleast show some recognition to my complaint.

                        Furthermore, i understand that due to covid-19 and the ongoing pandemic, the airline might be facing shortage in staff. However, this is no excuse for the rude treatment i have received for the past one month.

                        Kindly consider this at the earliest and do the needful.

                          I have booked flight ticket from mumbai to bhubaneswar on 19th march 2020. But goair flight cancelled the trip. After got flight cancellation message from goair, i have cancelled the ticket through easymytrip.
                          I have received from easy my trip refund amount is 1797.00 but my booked ticket amount is rs. 9886.00

                          Please process rs. 9886.00 amount refund

                          Please check and process refund.

                              Due to covid 19 thr nation is under a lockdown. Instead of providing a refund foe our tickets booked well in advance the airline is holding the money in the a credit shell. I fail to understand why this inconvenience and harassment to customers for no fault of theirs. I request a full refund as i'm not sure when i may be able to travel next and i also may find other modes of commuting in the future if not this specific airline. During times so sensitive and crucial like this when cash crunch is the a major concern airlines holding our money is like holding us hostage n harassing us. Please help.

                                PNR no.A5pn4m (go air) date of journey 8/1/20.From kannur to kolkata .(rijumon joseph)but this flight had been cancelled and not refund the ticket amount till now. Flight agency is not responding. What shall i do?kindly do needful.

                                      I booked flight from Goa to Chandigarh for 20th march and the airline cancelled it. But now no status is showing for refund.
                                      They are not providing in cash, they are asking to reschedule. How in this Corana outbreak, they can do this.
