I have travelled from Bangalore to Mumbai by GOAIR Flight on 11.04.08 with my wife & 2 Children. The flight is late by 20 minutes. I had also booked return tickets on 15.04.08, Flight G8 - 193 @ 16.40 of GOAIR.
FACTS OF THE CASE :
I reached the airpoft by 16.00 due to traffic jam and repair work going on right infront of the airport. By the time, I reached the check in counter it was 16.10. The GOAIR authorities refused to check in the flight for to me & my 3 family members, since we could not report sharp 16.00 although the departure of the flight is @ 16.40.
The Duty Manager, SHILPA M - 177, was useless lady & simply argued meaninglessly upto 16.40 to us and also to other 6 passangers who were also reported by 16.10. Her only words were "sorry, I cannot help" and useless arguements. Ultimately, she denied all the 10 passangers to check-in. On the other hand, they are not going to refund the full fair & only Rs. 225 per ticket against Rs. 2, 600/- per ticket aid by us (Ticket No 8SY18B). Further, they would have made alternative arrangements to accommodate in the immediate next flight.
In fact, we are from Bangalore & do not know any body at Mumbai, since this was a holiday trip & return. We were thrown into streets & unable reach to Bangalore as we were left with little money. Our Children & wife were crying.
For reasons beyond our control, we could not reach in time. For that reason we were pelalised by forgoing the entire ticket amount which is our hard earned money. This is nothing but day light robbery. On the other hand, we have to tolerate if their flight is delayed by 20 minutes during our onward journey for the same reasons. What a policy? What a double standard? We are in India. They have to consider our ground reality rather than strictly following rules at the cost & inconveience to the passangers.
We expect anunconditional appology for the kindless & rude behiviour of the staff & to reimburse the entire fare. We, suggest that let them change the policy to make alternatie flight arrangements to gunine cases. Under no circumstances, service providers shoud be allowed knock off the hard earned public money.

Today i travelled in flight no. G8-457, from Delhi to Mumbai. Delhi
time (5.30 pm)
Really it is shocking to me that i reached the airport at 2.00 pm at
delhi and checked in my luggage.
My luggage no is [protected]. SEQ008, When i reached home i am
surprised that my camera my mobile, my charger and my purse with all
credit cards and debit cards is missing.
Just now when i have blocked the card i was told by HDFC bank that it
is been swapped by 34265 apprs (5times) in delhi
Sir i am continously trying all your number but in vain, all your
numbers are not picked by anyone, mumbai delhi, tollfree and all other
numbers,
Sir really this is a truama to me, my everything is lost, and you
people are not picking my calls, where i should complain i dont know.
Kindly register my complain and catch your person immediately. he had
done the shopping when i have given the luggage at delhi boarding
counter.
