I have booked a ticket on goair airlines and subsequently could not travel. So I cancelled the ticket and the airlines had withheld the money in a voucher for 6 months and subsequently retained the whole amount. As per the DGCA guidelines and instructions no airline is supposed to retain any amount and the amount has to be refunded deducting the cancellation charges. However, Goair had taked away the entire money including government taxes which is nothing but a white collar robbery. The total money taken away by them is substantial by my standars. Can some one help me with this.

    Goair has disappointed me to the extent of me paying
    Rs 25, 000 and under a offer that I will get a free ticket in 10days and I have not got any free ticket till date that is 60 days. On being contacted several times, today they told me that "I was not reachable". I want to tell Goair that for sending promotional fares through sms, emails, we can be always contacted and when it comes to goair's liability they cannot go away by saying "customer was not reachable". Goair has 3 of my telephone numbers and my email address, I refuse to accept Mr Wadia that I wasnt reachable.

    Would be great Ms Prama Chandan if you can get in touch with me and deal this issue as mentioned above.

    DEar Sir

    Today i travelled in flight no. G8-457, from Delhi to Mumbai. Delhi
    time (5.30 pm)

    Really it is shocking to me that i reached the airport at 2.00 pm at
    delhi and checked in my luggage.

    My luggage no is [protected]. SEQ008, When i reached home i am
    surprised that my camera my mobile, my charger and my purse with all
    credit cards and debit cards is missing.

    Just now when i have blocked the card i was told by HDFC bank that it
    is been swapped by 34265 apprs (5times) in delhi

    Sir i am continously trying all your number but in vain, all your
    numbers are not picked by anyone, mumbai delhi, tollfree and all other
    numbers,

    Sir really this is a truama to me, my everything is lost, and you
    people are not picking my calls, where i should complain i dont know.

    Kindly register my complain and catch your person immediately. he had
    done the shopping when i have given the luggage at delhi boarding
    counter.

      I purchased 6 tickets via credit card over the telephone on 15 Dec. 2008 for a total amount of Rs. 26, 100/- for travel between Delhi-Cochin-Delhi on 20-Feb-09 and 23-Feb-09.

      The only information provided for cancellation was that a total sum of Rs. 825/- (Rs. 750 = Rs. 75) will be deducted towards cancellation charges per ticket from the cost of the ticket.

      I was shocked to learn from GO AIR that my balance air fare amount for the 6 tickets amounting to Rs. 21, 150/- will not be refunded to me, but instead will be retained for use in a Credit Shell valid for only 6 months from the date of cancellation and any failure on my part to utilize this Credit Shell within the said 6 months period will lead to a lapse of the said Credit Shell with the whole amount contained therein being retained by GO AIR and no refund whatsoever will be made to me.

      Is this policy of GO AIR legal and binding?

        I had booked an air ticket from Mumbai to Delhi from GoAir. I cancelled the ticket after a month when my travel plan was cancelled. GoAir gave me a credit note saying that I can book another ticket against the cancelled ticket but I will not be refunded the money.
        All the airlines in the world refund the money if the ticket is cancelled. How can GoAir force passengers to buy another ticket if they cancel one ticket? Even if they had written this on their charter they cannot take money from the passenegr when passenger did not travel.
        I request you to please consider my request and ask GoAir to refund my money.

          I want to lodge a complaint against Go Air lines the most unprofessional airlines in the Indian aviation industry. Not once in the last 5 months of my travel schedule has happened that their flight haven’t got rescheduled/delayed or cancelled.

          I am stunned and shocked on the behavior on the part of airlines to torture the passengers in this way and still on the worst side not even refunding the amount of the air ticket. I usually fly on business trips hence its practically is not possible for me to meet their crazily reschedule flight timings. Once while talking to their customer care officer ( I am sure they dnt mean this title at all) i was told that the flight is delayed by 2hr 50 mins and the refund is not possible coz the company rule is if it gets delayed by 3 hours.

          I would go on the record to say that NO ONE SHOULD FLY GO AIR AIRLINES . ITS THE WORST AIRLINES IN INDIA.

          Go Airlines — CHEATING BY DEDUCTING RS 750 AS CANCELLATION CHARGES

          I HAD BOOKED A FLIGHT ON GOAIR THROUGH EZEEGO1.COM FROM BOM ( MUMBAI (TERMINAL 1B)) / DEL ( NEW DELHI (TERMINAL 1B)) G8 - 375 08Aug2008 Fri Confirmation number: LFE09C. FOR 5 PASSENGERS. IRECIEVED A SMS STATING THAT THE FLIGHT WILL BE DELAYED DUE TO WHICH I HAD TO CANCELL TICKETS FOR 3 PASSENGERS. I WOULD HAVE NOT CANCELLED IF THE FLIGHT WAS ON TIME.THEY DEDUCTED rS. 750 PER PASSENGER AS PER DETAILS BELOW. Total Fare : INR 13859 Fare(per person) : INR[protected]*3 =8313) Cancellation Charges : INR 750 (per person) (750*3 =2250) Transaction Fee : INR 300 (Non-Refundable) Total Refund : INR 5765.00 THE FLIGHT DEPARTURE TIME WAS 20.20 BUT IT DEPARTED AT 00.20 ON 9TH AUGUST DELAYED BY 240 MINUTES. WHY SHOULD I PAY CANCELLATION CHARGES IF THEY COULD NOT TAKE THE FLIGHT ON TIME AND WAS DELAYED BY MORE THAN 179 MINUTES . GO AIRLINES PURPOSELY ANNOUNCES DELAYS IN LESS THAN 179 MINUTES TO ILLEGALLY GET RS. 750/- PER PASSENGER AS CANCELLATION CHARGES AND DO NOT GIVE RIGHT INFORMATION AND DELAY IT FURTHER AT LAST MOMENT AS THEY KNOW THAT NO ONE WILL WAIT AT THE AIRPORT TILL MIDNIGHT TO CANCELL TICKETS.           i have booked my ticket through Go air from mumbai to bangalore Flight No: G8-193
          Departure time: 04.40 pm may 05/08

          as i was late to the counter, i was requesting the ground staff to accomdate me, instead of accomadating they were sending me from one counter to another, i was very frustrated just because i wanted to reach very badly on the same day to blore .
          the ground staff misbehaved so badly, as if we are traveling in government bus, they were absoultly rude and sad, ( Iam concerned about the misbehaviour by Miss Sunitha .K and Mr. Ashley Pereira (D.M), )
          i have given so many complaints agaisnt these two, so far no action has been taken,
          i have been traveling with all the airlines so far i never had this bad sitaution,

          kindly never ever travel through Go air, if you need to pay litlle extra in some other airlines, thats ok, but if you travel through this low class airlines you will always have a problem .
          i woruld rate the worst ever airlines in this earth ..

          go airlines — for missing of luggages of passengers

          I firdaus begum and my son Ehsan boarded in flight No G8341 on 20.11.2010 at domestic airport delhi for patna as luggage of both the passengers were deposited by the said airlines for taking with the pessangers for thier said destination, which were contained clothes, camera, jewellery of a sum of Rs more than 1,75,000/- alongwith cash of a sum of Rs 30,000/- as the said luggage never received to complainant at his destination despite assurance of his arrival at his given address, as both the pessangers were going to participate in the marriage of her brother but despite assurance till date same has not been delivered despite repeated requests as both the pessangers are in their single wearing clothes and said articles were not used for the marriage. you are requested to deliver the said items without any missing of the articles as early as possible.

          go airlines — no refund of cancelled flight

          i did not get the refund of go air g-8 354 lucknow to delhi flight which was cancelled on 17.12.2011. my reservation id/ticket pnr no was symc7n.
          I had left my earphones in the plane on 25th April. The very day i called them up and asked them if they had those earphones of mine. They said yes i could come and collect it the next day. The next day i went there but i was kept waiting for an hour and a half and still that person did not appear. Moreover he switched off hi mobile phone too.
          I called them twice in June and i was assured that those wud be handed over to me when i come to mumbai.
          On 16th July when i came to Mumbai, they denied every conversation and told me bluntly that they might have been disposed off till now.
          And the way their duty manager spoke was aweful. This is the worst airline when it comes to customer satisfaction.
          I am not surprised to see other complaints againts ashley pereira of go air. He is the most arrogant stubborn and disgusting airline person I have ever come across.
          This is my second really bad experiance with Go air. In 2012 Nov 20 odd pacengers got late by 15 mins at Bangalore for check in. The delay was not due to any carelessness but because of heavy traffic jam for hours due to weather mishapp. Still there was not even a slight consideration. neither in accomodating I same flight or in their next one and neither any refund was given.
          Today on 15th nov 2013 I had checked in and was waiting post security check. When I went to the boarding gate rite on time but as per ashley pereira's watch I was 6 mins late and they did not let us take the flight. My question is why was there not even a single call for me? Secondly is the delay of just 6 mins is so huge that they could not have send us to the plane? We could have easily reached hte plane by the time others were boarding it. It was so evident that go air and specially aishley pareira did not was to even consider any solution. He was just stubborn and rude. I also cannot discribe aisley pereira's arrogance in words.
          I genuinely want to suggest to all the travellers that think ten timea before booking goair. This airline is not atall pacenger friendly. And for me I am definitely never ever taking this airline again.

          ​I would like to see Go Air shut down. I asked to speak to the manager for the resolution of what was a non-issue (they denied me boarding pass 30 minutes before departure while I had waited patiently in the queue as they called out other flight boarders. There was no, no sane reason to deny me boarding though they kept saying 'airlines policy', and had no further explanation). The manager, I found out was an ill-behaved, uncultured weasel called Ashley Periera, who ensured that I not only do not get to board the flight I'd paid for, but also should have to shell out an extra 11, 000, should I choose to board the subsequent flight. Plus, no refund for the flight for which they denied me boarding. He passed up the instructions to the main ticketing counter, I figured later.

          Also, rude to the finish, he ended the conversation with a couple of personal digs at me.
          I have booked my seat in Flight G8-176 vide PNR-N3ZAEW on 29.06.2014 at 22.48 hrs through makemytrip. During my travel planning and booking, flight rates suddenly increased and I booked the sheet on increased rates. After few hours rate displayed for booking was previous rates on web site for the same date and time. It seems that it is GoAir strategy for creating panic in passengers for immediate booking of seats by showing increasing trend in rates. There is no reason to trust on GoAir
          On the 10 of September 2014, we arrived at the
          Chatrapatti Shiva international airport Mumbai at 6-00 am-we were travelling to
          Guwahati on route home to Shillong. On checking in at the GoAir counter we were
          informed that our two pieces of luggage was booked through to Guwahati and we
          were handed two boarding passes. The first one was for the Mumbai New Delhi leg
          of the journey bearing flight Number G8-327 and seat number 16 A and 16 B STD
          7.50 am and the second bore flight No
          G8-151 and seat numbers 16 B and 16 C, STD 10.35 am. That immediately told me
          that I had to change planes at New Delhi. The flight took off on time. Our STA
          at Indira Gandhi International airport New Delhi was 9.55 am.


          The flight took off on schedule but during the flight we were
          informed by the pilot over the intercom that the flight was delayed. I was not
          worried as this was quite normal.


          The flight G8-327 landed at 10.21 am -26 minutes behind
          the scheduled time and that when the nightmare started. We rushed out from the
          arrival lounge and headed for the departure lounge which was located in another
          building on the first floor. We entered through gate 7 was headed for the
          security check. Once out of security, we ran on to gate no 9, where we were
          confronted by the digital announcement board that that the gate was closed.


          We approached the three GoAir officials at the gate and
          explained that we had just got out of flight G8-327 from Mumbai and that we
          were there to catch flight G8-151 bound for Guwahati. They told us that the
          flight had departed while rudely demanding to know why we had deplaned as the
          same air craft was bound for Guwahati. I was perplexed for a moment but showed
          them the second boarding pass for flight no G8-151 and asked them if the same
          air craft was flying on to Guwahati why were we issued two boarding passes. To
          which they replied that it was ‘standard procedure’. One of them took away the
          boarding pass and asked us to follow him.


          At the counter we were told to wait. I watched them as
          they stood a little away their face grim as they discussed the situation. After
          about 15 minutes I walked up to the counter and asked for the fate of our
          luggage which was booked through to Guwahati. They asked me to be patient and
          wait as they were bringing it. 45 minutes or so later our bags were wheeled in.
          One of the airline employees tried to remove the baggage tags but I prevented
          them from doing so. By this time I had begun to realise that the airlines was
          attempting a cover up.


          So one again I approached the counter and demanded to
          meet their superior to register my complains. But I was stonewalled again and
          again. When I persisted they haughtily informed that they would rebook my
          ticket for the following day. A young
          man, in the airline uniform was given my boarding pass and was instructed to
          ask me take me to the reservation office to get the paper work done. However at
          the exit gate the young man passed on that chore to a lady colleague. I
          followed her on to the reservation office and was asked to wait at the lobby
          while she disappeared into the maze of offices with the Delhi Guwahati boarding
          passes. I waited for a very long time but I never saw her ever again. My patients ran out after a long wait and so
          I walked behind the counters trying to locate the lady. She was nowhere to be
          seen. Just as I despaired ever getting any where I noticed the air line staffer
          who had guided us from gate no 9 to the counter. I caught hold of him and
          demanded to know the status of the rebooking of our tickets. He asked me for
          the PNR no on my Mumbai Delhi Boarding pass and within seconds I was holding
          the new tickets booked the following day.


          I then demanded that the airlines make arrangements for
          the hotels at our unscheduled stop over at New Delhi. He coldly told to take
          care of it myself; once again iterating that the air lines were not at fault
          and so was not liable. I lost one whole precious day thanks to Go air. I also
          had to shell out of my pocket for my lodge and board plus taxi fare for the unnecessary
          stop over at Delhi.


          I boarded flight G8-151 bound for Guwahati the following
          day but not before I extracted the information from the flight manager that
          flight G8-151 originates from Bangaluru and not Mumbai as claimed by the
          officials’ of GoAir.


          Some questions


          If the same air craft was on ward bound to Guwahati why
          were we issued two boarding passes? With two sets of seat numbers


          If our luggage was booked through to Guwahati how/why was
          it unloaded at New Delhi air port.


          Would they have treated any other passenger from the
          ‘mainland India’ in the same shabby way?


          I can only conclude the following:-


          This is a clear case discrimination against people from
          the north east of the country


          Ingenious way to harass passengers


          Blatant racist attitude.


          The air line in risky one and I strongly advise
          travellers to avoid using their service


          The airlines had better pull up its socks if it wants to
          stay in business


          I was travelling with a cousin who is a cancer survivor
          on our way back home after his annual medical check up at the Tata Memorial
          Hospital, Mumbai.
          Ladguage bag has been scrub and broken.

            I booked a fligth for 3rd July from Bangalore to Delhi. The flight was cancelled and i asked for refund. They havent refunded the money yet. almost 2 weeks have gone by. my PNR number is ILBLME. Please take immediate action against this company.

            My flight G8-142 dated 12th May'2012 PNR - 936NDZ Chandigrah to Mumbai was cancelled> No alternate arrangement was made for people as it is a economy airlines hence nothing can be done> Full refund was told but till today i have not refund. Can the airline give ticket on credit - No then with what right they they keep our money for more than two weeks> still i dnt know when i get my refund.

              Dear Madam / Sir,

              I had booked air tickets for Mr.
              Srinivas Prakashkar, Mrs. Veda Prakashkar, Ms. Harshali Prakashkar and Ms. Dhruti Kulkarni on 6th March 2006 for their travel on 1-6-2008 from Bangalore to Ahmedabad who are my relatives and had come to visit me at bangalore.

              I was intimated about the cancellation of the flight through e-mail just 24 hours before the scheduled time departure that the company had taken a decision to cancel the flights permanently for that route. No intimation was given to me on phone or sms.

              In view of the above i will be paid refund of the full amount. As this was a last minute intimation i phoned up the company's customer care number and requested that the above passangers may please be accomodated atleast on the bangalore - mumbai route.

              To this the customer care executive Ms. Saini first told that she will come back to me within a hour. When no phone call came to me for more than 2 hours, I again phoned back and first talked to Mr. Dinesh and subsequently to Mr. Sagar who informed that as a policy the company (Go Air) does not book passangers for another route in case the flight is cancelled. I was also told that the company had taken decision to stop the flights on that route in April itself. I had booked the tickets in March. The company did not care to inform me before hand about the change in policy nor did makemytrip through which i had booked the tickets inform me that the the flights have been cancelled. In fact makemytrip also did not care to inform me at all.

              Moreover the customer care executives talked to me in very derogatory tone also.

              This has caused a lot of mental harassment to me and huge amount of physical strain to my relatives who lost on their business and subsequent engagements.

              I had to make hectic parleys and arrange for their alternate flights through a costly route which could be done subsequently only.

              As the company had taken a policy decision and was aware of it, i should not only be refunded back the monies but for mental and physical agony the company should pay a token penalty to me of Rupees One lac only.The company's executive should also be made to undergo a decent customer care course.

              makemytrip.com should also be penalized on whom so many passangers book the tickets and rely.

                i have lost 1 suitcase of mine.
                Actual case

                i gave 2 luggage at delhi checkin counter
                1 suitcase red colour ( 21 kg)
                1 bag red colour (7-8kg)
                and i got my boarding pass
                i didn't checked that time that i have got only 1 slip of luggage on my boarding pass
                (21 kg) suitcase one, but when i landed on mumbai airport i got only my bag there on belt with the tag of that 21kg and didn't got suitcase,
                when i reported this to go air staff she registered a case n said we'll trace it out
                but later when i went to airport again at 11 pm in night
                they said we are still tracing it out but u pls sign on that paper(complaint note)and took it back bacause she may loose her job b'coz of raising wrong case.n she'll trace it out n let me know but i didn't got any reply

                i was going to goa 23 of june 2009 i kept my phone in the pocket of da seat in front of me whije landing  forgot to pic it from der n wen i came stairs i got remind of my phone n was going back in da flight to take it back but they did not let me go. they askd me to complaint about dis in office i did so they told me they r cheking but they culd nt find it der how is it possible  my phone dnt had legs so it wil run by itself. wer has it gone who had taken it plz help me i havsome imp contacts n some more imp stuf in my phone regaring my bussiness .
                i lost my baggage too yesterday when i was travelling from Bagdogra-Chandigarh. how can they be so irresponsible?
                I received my luggage yesterday at Chandigarh Airport after 3 days of wait. The luggage seem to be opened But fortunately no important things have taken out surprisingly. This shows the irresponsibility of the Go air staff. and Only one of the go air staff showed genuine concern and made my worry less at the Chandigarh Airport.Rest were least bothered about the whole thing. I wish such such incidents should not happen to Go air passengers in future.

                  To whomsoever it may concern

                  I, Gisela Dodd, was to leave for Hyderabad by G8 371 ETD 06.35 on Monday 21st April, 2008. On reaching the airport well before the required one hour, I was made to understand that the flight was cancelled, and the ground staff, said that the next flight at 12.30 hrs was full. The staff was not even sure that there was no flight the next morning 22nd April, as at first she was trying to put me on to that flight.

                  Finally I agreed to go on G8 457, ETD 19.25 hrs. At 17.10 hrs I get a text message onn my cell phone saying the flight is delayed to 21.00 hrs which means I will now be arriving at Hyderabad well past midnight and being alone it is fearful for a lady, to arrive and travel to the city at that unearthly hour.

                  What is most annoying at the callous way in which the staff answer. The airline has no qualms about the inconvinience they have caused to the passengers. Moreover, with such terrible cancellations and delays from the Airlines the least they should do is provide transport from the airport to the passengers destination.

                  I can only hope that when I arrive at the Mumbai Domestic airport there are no further delays.

                    I have travelled from Bangalore to Mumbai by GOAIR Flight on 11.04.08 with my wife & 2 Children. The flight is late by 20 minutes. I had also booked return tickets on 15.04.08, Flight G8 - 193 @ 16.40 of GOAIR.

                    FACTS OF THE CASE :
                    I reached the airpoft by 16.00 due to traffic jam and repair work going on right infront of the airport. By the time, I reached the check in counter it was 16.10. The GOAIR authorities refused to check in the flight for to me & my 3 family members, since we could not report sharp 16.00 although the departure of the flight is @ 16.40.
                    The Duty Manager, SHILPA M - 177, was useless lady & simply argued meaninglessly upto 16.40 to us and also to other 6 passangers who were also reported by 16.10. Her only words were "sorry, I cannot help" and useless arguements. Ultimately, she denied all the 10 passangers to check-in. On the other hand, they are not going to refund the full fair & only Rs. 225 per ticket against Rs. 2, 600/- per ticket aid by us (Ticket No 8SY18B). Further, they would have made alternative arrangements to accommodate in the immediate next flight.

                    In fact, we are from Bangalore & do not know any body at Mumbai, since this was a holiday trip & return. We were thrown into streets & unable reach to Bangalore as we were left with little money. Our Children & wife were crying.

                    For reasons beyond our control, we could not reach in time. For that reason we were pelalised by forgoing the entire ticket amount which is our hard earned money. This is nothing but day light robbery. On the other hand, we have to tolerate if their flight is delayed by 20 minutes during our onward journey for the same reasons. What a policy? What a double standard? We are in India. They have to consider our ground reality rather than strictly following rules at the cost & inconveience to the passangers.

                    We expect anunconditional appology for the kindless & rude behiviour of the staff & to reimburse the entire fare. We, suggest that let them change the policy to make alternatie flight arrangements to gunine cases. Under no circumstances, service providers shoud be allowed knock off the hard earned public money.

                      I booked this ticket quite some time back and got an SMS yesterday from you saying that due to issues beyond your control the flight has been cancelled.

                      I immediately called up your help line and spoke to Mr.Kiran who said that a refund of full amount will be made to my credit card a/c in 7 working days. He did not have answers to…
                      1. How does GOAIR propose to compensate the customers for the inconvenience caused
                      2. How will GOAIR pay interest / charges for the booking charges held by them for the time till refund is effected.
                      3. He said that there is no other option available than refunding the money as GOAIR discontinued this sector.

                      I called up again today and spoke to one lady (could not get the name properly).
                      She spoke similarly like Kiran. I was surprised to hear from her that you are canceling my booking today and it will take another 7 working days for the refund of the full amount. She even said that no request for cancellation is required and the repayment is automatic. My question is why not from the time you decided to cancel the flight and why 7 days from today?!!. She did not have a answer to this and put me on the your sales garbage. This is absolutely improper behavior for an Airline operator. My worries based on friend’s feedback has come true – GOAIR is the most pathetic AIRLINE.

                      Vide this mail I call for the following…
                      1. Immediate refund of full booking charges.
                      2. Interest for the period the booking charges was held by you. Refund of booking charges not to be held for deciding upon interest liability.
                      3. The money used for booking ticket is from an overdraft which has cost me 24 % p.a. interest. Imagine the inconvenience now to manage alternative booking in the peak June season.
                      4. An explanation why it requires me to call and cancel the booking when you yourselves have cancelled the flight and have no other options left.
                      5. Apology for the misbehavior of your helpline staff.

                      I had booking on via of fo air. for 25 sep. bom to ixc. But my passenger missed the flight.
                      so i was requested for cencelation. og ticket. but the air line refund me only 229 Rs...

                      ME - I Travel for living and diamond member for Delta's airlines (Partener KF and JET)
                      I took a KF flight from Pune to Delhi and got upgraded to business on KF even I am Delta's member, what an airline from the start until the end.
                      I landed at Delhi airport on terminal 3. I was looking for GO to AIR personal or office but was not able to find, and apparently they are not allowed there, go figure why as notice only best airlines are authorized, I wish I knew that before someone pushed me to book a flight from Delhi to chandigarh. If I knew that it was not from the terminal no way I would have booked 3000rs flight.
                      Well anyhow I reached Delhi it late and somehow found out my NoGOAIR is from a different terminal, and a nice guy at the airport helped to expedite to get my luggage and arrange a taxi so that I can reach at the leftover terminal on time. I took a taxi and in 10, a minute was at terminal 1A. I went to the ticket office to get a print out "Another CRAP thing in India where I can print something on a word document to get in and will believe me, oh my god. I feel secure there." . He said ticket office might be closed, and I requested, please can you pick wakee talkie and explain my situation. He just happy enjoying his samosas like he looked.
                      Anyhow, I reached at counter 35 minutes before departure. And he looked at me as I am funking and said NO it says 40 minutes. I requested can you at least try. I think his was very comfortable on the seat no response. I had made a flight 15 minutes before departure on KF /JET /DELTA/KLM/AA etc. but these lazy people didn't even try as that will add some work for them to run. It is called a low-cost airline, no wonder why because you are. Furthermore, look at some other like indigo and you, I mean to go or no goes toward air will be ashamed. I am just talking on my behalf, if anything says go air, it is
                      worthless specially when in Delhi where they not even try. This is not important when I say that was last flight to chandigarh and I took a taxi and paid 6000 Rs but was worth not to fly go air anymore while I am in India. P.S It doesn't matter if I missed flight bur attitude and sleaziness of go-ungainliness.is what bothered me, 30 minutes in plenty of time to handle expections. Regards,

                      P.s - And the worst part was ok I am not flying so should be able to leave the terminal, Hell, nope. I have to get to some terminal and held hostage and only can leave if NO-NO-GO to AIR basophiles.
                      I can let me out which they were very quick. So kudos to nogoair for that. You are good in letting people out of terminal.

                        Dear Sir,

                        My name is Prashant Agarwal and through this onlne media, I would like to bring in notice of all other future passengers abount a very disappointing experience i had with GO AIRLINES. I booked a ticket (PNR No. OSA9KY) for 2 passengers to travel from Delhi to Ahmedabad. the reservation was made through net and by mistake the name for both the passengers was entered the same as "Prashant Agarwal" instead of "Niranjan Agarwal" in one. Immediately after i saw my itenary I callled the customer care department of GO Airlines and I was shocked to see that they simply refused to make any amendment, whereas as per the law "Immediately after the web reseravtion is done, any changes can be made if the customer complaints within two hours of the reservation, and this will not attarct any further charges". I explained them the situtaion that how can two passengers book two seperate ticket at once with the same name. It was just a mistake and what I am asking them to do is to just click on the edit option and edit the name. They told me that they need to cancel this ticket which would cost me another 750/- rupees and then they can rebook the ticket at the new higher fare

                        I advise any person who is reading this mail as NEVER TO TRAVEL THROUGH GO AIR, as they are the worst airlines in India and also would request the concerned authorities of Consumer complaints Forum to take necessary action against this airline and if possible shut them down.

                        I agree totally, the worst airlines of India. even once I had problems regarding the refund payment, but they think that the Go Air policy are above the Indian Laws

                          Highly dis-oriented by the unprofessional approach by Go-air causing great inconvenience, mental harassment, and financial loss to me.



                          I had booked my flight with Makemytrip.com on 17th September 2007 for a return trip for Delhi - Mumbai.

                          The itenary was as follows:



                          Booking ID - FLT135755

                          Payment approval code - 890813

                          17th Nov 07 MUM-DEL Goair flight#106 5:25 pm - 7:15 pm PNR# Q4RBZC

                          20th Nov 07 DEL-MUM Goair flight#451 5:50 am - 7:40 am PNR# 7ZFH1R



                          All this time i was always under the impression that i made a mistake in checking the time and got late for my flight and was begging the Go-air duty officers. I wanted to board the next available flight to Mumbai but due to heavy traffic that day the next available with any other airline was not before 11:55 am, i had to get my booking done for the same flight Goair-451 for the next day.



                          It is on the next day after reaching Mumbai that i realised that the flight had been pre-poned Now, highly irresponsible on the airlines part that:



                          I was not even informed of the pre-ponement of the flight.
                          Instead of being aplogetic and co-operating since its a miskate on the airlines part i was not only mentally harassed by the employees by indicating that iam late.
                          I was made to suffer with a delay of one day causing me loss in my work.
                          Loss of reputation at my office since i was supposed to join a day before.
                          Travel to and fro to the airport twice causing not only the inconvenince of time but loss incurred financially on the taxi fare.
                          Lack of sleep
                          Direct Financial loss since i had to book another flight for a ticket of higher amount ( G8-451 on 21st Nov 07 for Rs 6250, PNR # EVRLY6)
                          On approaching the mumbai counterpart, i was not even heard out properly by the person on the ticketing counter and was told to get in touch with Makemytrip.com
                          On demanding to speak to higher authorities i was forwarded to Mr. Arun Kumar Bhandari who atleast listened to my problem and offered to help me out. Though initially he also tried to get-away with saying that they did not have my contact number hence they could not have informed me, but at that very instance i logged on to makemytrip.com website and showed him that my number was already present and it is the responsibility of the airlines and not the agent to inform the customers of the delay if any. Iam an end customer of Goair and not makemytrip and even if there was a lack on the part of makemytrip, it is still Goair's reponsibility to ensure that such goof-ups do not happen or make good for the goof-ups.

                          I hence demand a refund of my next-day ticket and the direct financial losses incurred by me.

                          I agree to almost all the complaints which have been filed against GoAir and in general about the entire privately owned fliers.
                          I have experience horrific incidences of discrimination at the airport while boarding the flight. If you are an "ordinary" citizen, perhaps all the rules of the books must have to be follwed. That means, you need to be necessarily be present at the boarding gate 30mins in advance. Well, I would have really loved if these private companies had the guts to do the same for ALL INDIANS. But, alas they show their incompetence and perhaps "impotence" against these "larger than lives pulic figures".

                          My question is very simple, as we get penalized by the carriers by not allowing us to board the flight if we don't report 30mins prior to departure, I would request the government to come up with a rule where a delay by these carriers must also get penalized.

                          This is a great inconvenience caused to us as we are senior citizens and the change in plan has affected our routine.

                          Due to the Go-air delay I missed my flight to Bangalore and whole night in chill I spend at Delhi without food and water. Even they dint provide me optional in their flight as well. proof is attached
