Booked a flight to bangkok from goa on the internet on or around mid february 2020.
Got e-tickets confirmation. About a week later got a text saying there may be a problem and to expect further notice.
A week after that having heard nothing more i double checked to see if the flight was still scheduled and it was still being advertised with nothing out of the ordinary.
Three says before the flight i checked again and chose our seats on the flights out and back and paid an extra 4800 rupees for them. Still the flight was being advertised.
Got to the airport at 0330hrs for the departure at 0640 hrs, got to the desk at 0430 hrs and was informed the flight was cancelled, that they had tried to ring me once but unavailable.
No text messages - nothing.

Said we could fly tomorrow night and absolutely no apology or any compensation... So taxi fares 3000 rupees, lost hotel night means another 4000 rupees, taxi booked from bangkok airport to central bangkok another 2000 rupees, and an extra night for someone to feed my dogs and cats and sleep over whilst we are away another 2000 rupees.
They did not try to call us on the announcer system at the airport to let us know earlier, so we sat around for 2 hours till they opened the booking in service.
Pathetic company...…... Avoid them. Can you imagine what they would do for customers if the inbound flight had a suspected coronavirus casualty on it about whether to deal with that scenario effectively or say nothing like they did with us and let people board???
Just a text message, an email would have helped but nothing... Got nothing, they lied because they said they called, no calls, they sent email, no email, and they took my money 3 days before its scheduled departure when they already knew it was a cancelled flight because there were only 3 passengers booked on it and they knew that when i got the first message about a possible problem which i actually double checked to see if it had been cancelled, so they had tons of time to inform me properly.
Asked for an upgrade in compensation to business class for flights and denied...….
They are lying please see attached evidence.

    I have booked flight from kolkata to hyderabad for 3 feb'20 pnr: eerwfr. But i got one mail that that flight got cancelled after that i tried customer care number multiple time either it was ringing and no one has picked or else it was going busy. On 1 feb'20 i was able to talk to them and ask the agent to reschedule it for next day or in same day but she told that there is no flights available of go air airlines.

    I even requested her to schedule a flight with other airlines to that also she told its not possible. I have booked ticket a long back to avoid price hike during last minute. But i had to book another ticket with indigo a day prior to the planned travelling which cost me more than 9000 inr and that too late night for a female passenger which causes a lot of troubles to me and i had to make other necessary adjustment.

    I even mailed them 20-22 days ago but did not any response. If airline has cancelled its flight then it should arrange alternate for the the flight. It is there responsibility to take care of their customer they cant escape saying that it has been cancelled. When we cancelled our ticket we get almost nothing as refund but when they are cancelling it they send a mail only. It causes a lot of problems to me and i need compensation.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. These changes are due to issues beyond our control. If you wish to avail the option of a full refund or a flight for the same sector on the previous day, same day or next day at no extra charge (Subject to availability), we request you to call us on[protected]/[protected], up to 2 hours prior to departure.

        I booked the flight from delhi to hyderabad on 17th dec’19 flying on 8th feb’20 for 5 passengers costing rs.14, 935/- with pnr y9rqkw. At that time the prices were same for goair and indigo except the time difference of 1 hour. To my surprise on 3rd feb’20, i received a message from goair that my flight is cancelled and i have to call them for refund or a new flight for 1 day before or after (Subject to availability). After trying for hours when i finally got to speak with their executive they said that they don’t have any flight for the same day and i need to either take refund or book flight 1 day before or after my scheduled departure without getting any accommodation. Left with no choice i had to book indigo flight that costed me rs. 29, 105/- with pnr no. Rds43y. The difference i had to pay was rs. 14, 170/-. I need the refund of additional amount born by me as the flight was cancelled by airlines and they gave no option of the alternate flight on the same day.

          I booked flight from indore to ahmedabad for 18 january 2020 having flight no g8766 from goair which was supposed to depart at 8: 00 am. The same was canceled by go air, which they informed me day before the journey and assured that refund shall be processed soon of full amount, i rescheduled the flight for 1st march 2020, but instead of getting full fare adjustment of previous booking only 757 inr were adjusted and balance amount i had to pay from my account. I request to refund the balance amount i. E. Rs 990 in my bank account

            I have booked a ticket ie, pnr e9pb3q on goair flight g8-622 from bengaluru (Blr) to kannur (Cnn) on[protected] at 13:00 hrs is cancelled by go air with very short notice and hence i am forced to book another flight with higher charges due to no response from go air team.
            When i met the person from go air office at bangalore on[protected], it is informed that within 2-3 working days the refund will be done. Not received the refund even after 6 days.

            In continuation to the above complaint, i have received a call from GOAIR HELPDESK vide contact number [protected] on[protected] saying that the issue will be resolved and the refund will be done after confirming with the concerned. After that i have not received any calls and confirmation regarding refund.

            Please not that due to irresponse from GOAIR and informed the cancellation in short notice, i am forced to book the ticket paying 3 times higher than the GOAIR charges to catch the flight on same date...please consider this also while claiming the refund from them...

            I request you to please do the needful to settle the claim within 24 hours from now.

            In continuation to this, i have received a call from the same number mentioned in previous complaint and informed me that the amount is going to be credited through my GOOGLEPAY portal and after asking me to do a lot of things in google pay finally it is informed that they are not able to do the payment due to wrong entry happened from my end. the end result now is that Rs 47496/- is deducted from my account without my consent and they are asking me to share another bank details which is having more than 20000 balance. When talk to the Manager Mr.abijith, it is informed that the debited amount will be getting credited within 3 hours time ie, before 4.45 pm today...kindly advise whether i need to seek help from NCDRC to address this issue..

            As per the request received from GOAIR Team, i have kept a balance of another Rs.50000/- in my google pay account and i was expecting a call from them to get the refund of cancelled flight ticket plus 47496/- which is deducted from my account wrongly by them... i request you to address this issue and settle at the earliest.

            I have lodged a police complaint against those who ever involved to do this transaction and they will be caught within few day as committed by city police commissioner, bangalore.

            As informed by the police team, they have identified the person's name and whereabouts ie, Mr. suraj pal who has done the fraud transaction. They assured that this person will be caught in a short span of time.

            I hope this guy has affected corona and died now...
            I was quite comfortable with imobile app from icici. But from past 8-9 months I am not able to login in my iOS device. Am getting a error as #GLU001. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and trying multiple times
            I am receiving in last two weeks messages from VDDOPBNK regarding transactions in certain account which does not belong to me.
            Somebody trying to fool me. Iam not responsible for any such happening

              We had booked a ticket for my daughter on 15th december 2019 from nagpur to delhi on g82520 departing nagpur on 21st december 2019 at 21:35. When my daughter reached the airport at 1830 hours on the day of the departure, she was informed that due to non availability of pilots & other staff they have to cancel this flight and they will refund the entire amount of rs.5, 181/- (Including the convenience fee of rs.250/-) and will provide no other support, leaving the young girl, a student of 1st year mbbs nowhere to go to in the middle of the night!!!

              However, we managed to pay a very high fare and putt her on an air india flight which was scheduled for 2:00am from nagpur.

              Now, on february 21st, 2020, we checked for the status of our refund and we were just told that this has been initiated and they have no further information on the status of refund. When i requested to be connected to the supervisor who may be able to help me, the agent simply went silent while i kept calling for him and i could hear the back ground noise but our man preferred to keep silent in a challenging way!!

              We need help to get our money refunded and be compensated for the harassment that the airlines have brought us under.

              Please help & guide with process and procedures to action upon them and make it public so that no service provider will take advantage of the innocent travelers and dare to even think about harassing or troubling them at their own convenience.

              More than a week and no response from the cheating airlines - Go Air!! Its a shame that the customer support does not even answer the phones now!!! Are we heading for another SCAM here of cheating the passengers? Can some one please help and get us what is due to us?
              Worst service ever, I booked a flight from Hyderabad to Lucknow on 4th of march with PNR P883PZ and the airline itself cancelled the flight, now they're not picking up the phone and not even refunding my money back.

                  I went to Kerala on vacation with my wife in month of February, 2020 and our return flight was from Cochin to Delhi on 15 February, 2020. But just two days before the scheduled date of return flight i had received a automated call from GoAir regarding cancelation of my flight & a contact number was provided for customer support ([protected]). However, i had called multiple times on this provided customer support number for two days but there was no option for connecting to customer care executive. Then finally had to booked a return flight by myself from Cochin to Delhi from Vistara airlines after paying a heavy amount for the flight booking. Moreover, there is no email mentioned in the GoAir website for customer service & i am still calling and trying on the customer support number to connect to customer service executive for the refund & compensation for cancelled flight but no luck yet. On search about the issue i find out that airline should have to pay full refund & compensation to customer in case of cancellation of flight. Will take this issue to higher level if not resolved.

                    My flight goair flight g8-422 from new delhi (Del) to hyderabad (Hyd) on[protected] at 20:55 was cancelled. Related to this i was issued a gst invoice on 2nd feb but still no money has been refunded.
                    Because of this i had to overstay and book for another day of accomadation since there was no goair flight the next day and had to book a much more expensive flight than i had earlier paid for

G8 348 departed kochi at 06.55 am i was sitting at seat no. 5f. When i arrived at mumbai terminal 01 during the taxi booking i noticed that my wallet is missing i request you please check in this matter and do the needful as the wallet contain my saudi arabian banks three atm cards, saudi arabian i. D. Cards, saudi arabian driving license. I travelled to saudi arabia on same day and i authorized mr. Ramzan patel pro df royal saudi consulate in mumbai. (Mobile no. [protected])

                          I had booked a ticket from bangkok to delhi on 23 rd feb in the name of mukul satija and sonam gupta through a agent. Pnr no i934ww.
                          I had to cancel it due to the risk on coronavirus. My agent had still not recieved the refund. It's been 15 days
                          I have been trying to call customer care but no one picks up the call

                            My mom and dad booked flights to and from hyderabad and the return was with go air.

                            We received a message a week prior to actual travel date that the return flight is cancelled. We have enquirer with the go air office at the chennai airport and they confirmed that the payment will be sent to the account we paid from. My dad uses bajaj finserv emi account to pay the ticket. Now we haven’t received refund after 3 weeks now.

                            Go air customer service is useless. They are not picking up the calls. I would like this to be resolved. I am not sure how many people are getting cheated like this. This is ridiculous. We have other job than chasing behind this #.

                            Please have this resolved.

                              I do not suggest anyone to book flight by goair airlines ever even in desperation. My flight from new delhi to hyderabad was canceled without any reason and the company is not picking up any calls, their customer support is worthless and moreover they haven refunded my money even after a lot of emails sent to them.

                              I would really appreciate if someone would help me to get my money back.

                                I booked a ticket on 5 dec 2019 from del to nagpur. Flight no g8-2519 dated on 16 jan 2020. But unfortunately i received a msg and computer generated call to regarding cancellation of of flight on 15 th jan. 2020.
                                After receiving call on morning i tried to called and contact airlines. But the didn't response. No body has picked the call.
                                They have not provided any alternative or refund.

                                I have mailed them 2 times for refund but no response. I have receive only acknowledgement mail.

                                  I booked a ticket with the pnr no. G8f9vj, from delhi to bangalore at 14:55 am on 01.03.2020. I got the information about the cancellation of the flight g8-112 yesterday, and i tried to contact them many time by call and by emails as well but neither they are replying nor they are picking up my call. Kindly logged a complaint against the company for careless behaviour against the customer. Please ask them to reschedule my flight on the same day as i already booked this one month back

                                    My flight has been cancelled, and i am following up with all modes of communication with goair, email, call center, twitter but no response on alternate flights. Booked flight 3 months back and the only option being provided is take your money back. Flight code is now triple the cost at which i booked. As per dgca you are bound to provide me flight even on other airline, if i deny that then only you can refund my money. I am following up on various platforms for more than a week but no satisfactory reply. Contact asap my pnr p86rkz, mob [protected]

                                    No steps taken, the issue is not resolved. Don't know why they marked as resolved when no one even contacted me and issue is as it is.

                                    February 14 my goair G8-125 flight is cancel, but i contact customers cair help line but any one not pick my call i tying 10 days but not help any one person what i do i not understand please help me
                                    My ticket has been cancelled by the company for 21st Feb . The contact no. given in the email for customer care is not valid. I have never known such a pathetic CRM could have existed by an air line carrier until this day. Really disappointing!!

                                      This is Abhijit Bose from Bangalore, I had a scheduled flight from Bangalore to Hyderabad on 25th February, 2020 with flight number G8-518 by Go Air (PNR P5KQJS). On 11th February 2020 I got a mail from Go Air that the flight is cancelled . Based on this mail To get a Full Refund I tried to reach at least 20-30 times on Go Air help line which is[protected]/[protected]. Nobody picked up the call. I even mailed 2 times my complaint to [protected]@goair.in. I received respective ticket numbers G[protected], G[protected] . Nobody ever resolved the issue. I don't know if this is a pure scam by the airline company Go Air to grab money from customers in unethical ways. I need my money back for the cancelled flight.

                                      I have booked my return journey from delhi to indore by goair with pnr numbers ZY5I3T and MYE86Q 1month ago.
                                      Both flights were cancelled due to some operation issues and I have requested to initiate my refund.

                                      I didn't get my refund and goair helpline not receiving my call.
                                      GoAir cancelled flight G8-167, schedule 28 Dec, 2019. I have not received the refund still. My PNR for the flight was - ZB713Q. It has been more than a month now. Have been conversing on their FB page, where they kept assuring, but my issue has not been addressed till now.

                                        Goair sent a message this sunday evening that our flight to singapore is cancelled. We have been on calls with customer care since sunday inquiring the reason for cancellation and refund status. We require a proper cancellation document from the airline stating the reason for cancellation by them, passengers names, to and from locations, this is for pnr w9qwrw.
                                        We have spoken to multiple customer care people since sunday, been on hold forever, only to know they cannot even send across a simple document. We require this on a mandatory basis to get refund from hotel and other tourist activity bookings that we have done. The customer care people asked us to send a mail to feedback @goair to get this done. Numerous mails have been sent, but absolute silence from their end. Is it too much to ask from an airline to share a simple document? Why cant they be prompt and help when they caused this fix in the first place. Really ghastly business dealing with them, and their ill informed, incompetent customer care people. They are supposed to make things a little easier, not an absolute nightmare.

                                        Also dates of travel have to be mentioned in this document but no document has been shared by the airlines, which we can use as proof to speak to the hotel and other booking sites.
                                        At least help the customer to get the refund for the cancelled flights and book another tickets. What sort of customer care is this when they can't even respond.

                                        I have been calling from the last 3 days but the calls goes on and no one bothers to respond.there is no place to cancel and get a refund.
