I am writing this mail out o[censored]tter frustration after more than 9 weeks my complaint remains unresolved despite regular follow-up with Godrej at all levels.
I am still regretting my decision of purchasing a Godrej refrigerator model GFP 430 Y on[protected]. During its guarantee, its display was repaired through your pitiable service after several follow-ups and the personnel behaved as if they did a great favor of accomplishing something that was impossible otherwise. And exactly, this was the reason that was given for the delay of more than a month.
Now for the past more than 9 weeks I am after you to replace three shelves of my refrigerator at my cost because without shelves, the fridge is merely occupying space in my house as a broken piece of souvenir. You have asked me to speak to all the staff of Godrej at Bhopal, Mr. Arora, Mr.Ahmad, Mr. Mukherjee, etc. and as demanded by you, and to present the broken shelve at your service station located at Jawahar Chowk area, Bhopal. The people manning your service station indicated that till I had visited their office, in the 2nd week of Oct. 08, my several complaints and reminders on telephone had not been even registered. Till today, my problem has not been attended.
Now, will any body listen? ….

I have a Godrej Ultra, purchased about 10 years back. Right from day one it is giving problems.
No engineer has been able to rectify it to the best of our satisfation. "No-cooling" is a perpetual problem.
I have been repeatedly taking the AMC's. The service at Hyderabad is pathetic.
Just an example :
I have made a call regarding no-cooling on 7th July, 2009 (comp. No. 586661), and the problem still persists. The Service Centre[protected] no. keeps ringing perpetually. (It is a bonus if we are able to speak to someone.) Intially, the engineer told that gas has to be filled. That took a week. After filling, the problem still persisted. That required another booking (No. 588077) on 13/7/09. Then after numerous call, the engineer told that the compressor has to be replaced. This took another five days. The compressor was replaced on 22/7/9. After that, the on opening the fridge it was giving electrical shock. The nos. 27537523 and 39127282 were immediately informed and an engineer was deputed on 23/7/9 who informed that the problem was with the compressor. Since then there has been no communication from the service centre. There is no intimation to us about any engineer's visit from the service centre and the call receiving centre,[protected] just makes all the right noises of being considerate and inform politely that the request would be forwarded. Every day a minimum of two to three calls are made to the no. 27537523 and they are not aware of the status of when the engineer would be deputed.
The fridge since 7/7/09 has become a dummy. Despite taking an AMC, nobody bother to communicate
the status, when an engineer would be deputed. This is the state of affairs at the Hyderabad centre.
I request you to kindly take this piece called "refrigerator" and save me from mental agony which I have
suffering from day one. I had purchased this fridge just on the name brand name "Godrej". I am writing this, since I am sure that Godrej would definitely make amends for the same.
