We bought d refrigerator on[protected]...n d refrigerator is not working after[protected].....we registered d complaint on 21st.....but d service center has sent d service men on 5-3-2013....more than 10 days d refrigerator is not working......we asked for replacement.....but d dealer n d service is not responding properly....dey r spoiling d goorej name......d problem is oil check due to miss handling in d transportation....but dey r giving improper answer.....within a month I have got problem......so please u need replacement....

I am in chennai . I faced worst situation during the Hot Summer i.e my 3 year old samsung refrigerator have gone dump. I have made initial complaint to customer care. They have told that i will get a response within 8 hrs. But the local Samsung customer care in chennai (Anna nagar) reluctant to add the complaint by saying no people are there to serve. For the past four days they are just saying somebody will attend your call. But it is in vain. I am looking for alternate service . Since refrigerator is the priority need out of all my appliances.

Refrigerator — Poor customer service

I had problem in refrigerator and called customer care and registered my compliant vide compliant no.[protected], they deputed a customer care person, who had inspected the refrigerator and said the compressor is not working, it should be replaced at the cost of Rs. 6000/- or go for exchange offer and given One Mr. Srinivasan sale person in Samsung show room in T.Nagar for exchange offer, suggested that the refrigerator is only repurchased for Rs. 1000/- only i have to pay Rs. 14, 000/-. He had collected cash of Rs.300/- asked for a receipt but say receipt will reach me. No cash receipt given for cash paid. But accidentally I told my brother on the refrigerator issue, he had asked one of his friend who repair refrigerator to attend, that gentlemen sent his men and found capacitor of refrigerator is not working, compressor in good condition, replaced capacitor for Rs.250/- . This instance clearly shows for Rs.250/- i had spend Rs.300/- unnecessarily by calling customer care, who advised to spend another Rs.14000/-. Please do not call customer care hereafter. They are cheating customer by asking for replacement of the product. Appropriate action should be taken against the Samsung customer care

Godrej — Poor Customer Service

Hi, This is Mercy i bought a microwave oven from Godrej last Dec 28th 2009 i gave my oven for service since the keypad stopped working, from the day the technician took the keypad we made more than 50 calls to check the status but still no reponse from them, they are still giving the same repeated answer as " Still we are woking on that " i am not sure how many days it will take to finish, this is the worst customer service i have experienced ever. Please do necessary action on this complaint and do the needful. Make sure this was taken care from the management side to have a good customer support experience.

    M/S V.K. Customer Care, Ram Nagar, Mandi (HP) services repaired the goodrej refrigerator on 14th May, 2012 and replaced the comensor of the fridge by charging Rs. 3800/- with 12 months warrenty for omensor. after one week of the repair of the refrigertor the same problem cropped. the vendor was approached on several times over telephone but they didnt turn up to repair the refrigerator. the complaint had already been registered with your complaint centre but till date nothing has been heard from your side.

    please take it most urgent.

          We have purchased GODREJ Refrigrator 2 years back(May-2010),we cheked with concern dealer. Technical person from dealer checked and confirmed that motor failed.

          I have logged a complaint through customercare on 30.06.2012.

          Still date we have not received any revert from any team to rectify the same.

              My refrigerator is not working for the past twelve days. Refrigerator compressor in warrenty period. Every day i contact the customer care persons and service centre. They replying registor my complient in urgent and send person for service. But one person came for service and told possible only atten the problem after making the AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract). If not making AMC we will not atten the problem. Compressor is five years warrenty. But the service person told compressor should change. It cost around 2,500 rupees. This kind of approach by the godrej service centers in chennai.In the future i never by GODREJ PRODUCTS.

                I WISH THERE COMES SOME CHANGES EITHER FROM CUSTOMER OR FROM GODREJ-ZERO PREFERENCE OF GODREJ GOODS FROM CUSTOMER SIDE OR CHANGES IN GIVING SERVICES FROM GODREJ SIDE, MORE IMPORTANTLY AS OF NOW, I WISH MY WARRANTY DOESNT RAN OUT OF VALIDITY WAITING FOR GODREJ SERVICE, AND I REALLY DONT HAVE ANY IDEA HOW SERIOUSLY GODREJ TAKES ALL THESE CUSTOMERS SCRIBBLING DOWN THEIR COMPLAINTS.

                I DONT KNOW IF GODREJ IS GOING TO READ THESE COMPLAINTS AND DO SOMETHING OR LEAVE THE COMPLAINTS JUST LIKE THAT.

                    Cooling Problem

                    I bought my Godrej refreigrator Eon 240 litres around 2 years back. Everything went well for 2 years. Now it started giving me the cooling problem.

                    I reported the complaint at Godrej Service center in Bangalore on 17th April viz complaint no. [protected]. Service Engineer came to my house and after lots of troubleshooting and 2 hours of diaognising, he came to conclusion that compressor is faulty. He told me that compressor...

                    SUB. Freeze complain is not solved .
                    Dear Sir,
                    I have purchased Godrej freeze form Gandhinagar-Gujarat ,My Invoice No.881/93056576,dt.5/2/11 Customer code.30089A.We are facing some problem in cooling system ,it is not working properly so ICE is not making . According to this problem we have registered complain on Toll Free number on dt.22/7/2011,15/42012,17/4/2012 & 19/4/2012. After that local complain centre service man had attended the complain on several frequent time and changed some parts also but problem still continues . We request to you replace my freeze immediately and provide to new freeze on urgent basis because summer is going on and we are facing difficulty in our routing things. Kind for your information we will going for Grahak Surksha consumer forum for better Justice . Before that I will some acceptation form you for better service & solution.
                    I hope that you will not disappoint me and resolve my issue urgently.

                      Dear Sir,

                      This is with reference to my complaint no. [protected] dated[protected] and complaint no. [protected] dated[protected] registered through Toll Free no. regarding light system of the Refrigerator. Your engineer Mr. Manish Sharma (Mobile# [protected]) visited on Sunday i.e. on 06-05-12 and told that there is problem in the switch, which will be replaced by us. But the switch was already replaced by Mr. Jagmohan earlier.

                      Again I reported this matter to Mr. Vikram (Mobile# [protected]) and on my request he visited and checked the switch properly. He found that switch is OK but there is too much dust/carbon particles which is creating problem, he cleaned and the switch starts working.

                      Today now again I am facing same problem, onetime it works fine and next time it’s not. This may fuse the bulb and then your engineer will demand charges for replacing the bulb. Already I have been fooled by your engineer and purchased Godrej Stabilizer.

                      I think this Godrej Edge, which unfortunately I have purchased has not been checked/tested properly before coming out of the manufacturing plant. I request you to please replace this defective refrigerator purchased in Feb. 2012, so that I may not face any new problem.

                      Please do the needful at your earliest otherwise I will be compelled to file this matter in Consumer Court.

                        A customer is treated like this shame on Great Eastern Trading Salkia Howrah

                        Hello,

                        Pl listen I have called ur customer support but none paid any heed

                        1.The said great Eastern trading Company Salkia Howrah 6 abused me
                        when I requested them to send another men to send to carry the fridge

                        2. They even abused me and filthy including bad naming my family

                        2. They transported the fridge like a non electric good and pushed the
                        stuff and I fear it is already damaged

                        3. They even did not bother to do anything even after all these for
                        one hour and I have to do the work of a porter to get it shifted from
                        road to my home

                        Pl take action this kind of service is UNACCEPTABLE

Further supplied 4N as against of ordered 5n.Sri sreedhar service manager when contacted on phone no [protected] simply escaped under the plea that he was on leave. He is reluctant to advise further. The customer care services are unable to provide phone nos of the higher authorities. Sri Jaipal Roddy gm when contacted on phone no [protected] expressed the staff are busy. and it would be attended in two days. Paid amount but no service ,simply received failed refrigerator. when contacted on phone no ,[protected] and[protected], staff attended phone between 01-00 pm to 02-00pm simply avoiding.

As my Referigerator is not working, problem is its not gewtting cooled. i am having petty shop at Amman Enterprise, Jangnayakam palaym, Thoppampatti Pirivu, Mettupalayam Road, Coimbatore.-17, TamiL Nadu. daily we sell mild and curds . this our main earnings. today dated 18.4.12 at about 11 am we called the above customer care no but the person who was sitting there answered rudely and disconnected the mobile, and also i asked the manager mobile no also. he answered like we gone for begging to his, really sir i felt very bad the way he behaved in the phone using 3rd languages. we have taken loan on Referigerator.                                 I purchased a godrej refrigerator from your authorised dealer Snehanjali, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai on 17.05.2011. At the time of home delivery on checking the refrigerator, we found some problem in door & some inside parts also broken. We went there and complained about these and he told that now godrej service centre will change the door and broken parts (call no. 276038 dated 23.05.2011, Technician came).

                                After that your technicians came and they have changed the door but that time they told that we will change the parts after some days.

                                Many times I have lodged complaint and your technician come and sometime they tell that I have the parts of other model, I will come next time.

                                But my problem is still pending for long time.

                                    exactly after 11 months of purchase of godrej refrigerator model:gde:19b2/2010; capacity 183hs, it started burnt smell from it. same time there was no cooling effect. we had given complaint, for which service center people responded late. once they came they took fridge got us back after 3 days with a bill amount of 2,380 ( which was supposed to be free service). with in a week, again same problem. this time they responded soon because it was a blunder by them again, they had not welded properply, for which again gas leak. they kept fridge for 5 days and returned it, saying that it will never have a problem. exactly after 15 days, same burnt smell, no cooling. when we call them, they are telling to give an online complaint. they will see that later.. this is the condition... the wwwwwoooooooooorssssssssssst service.....

                                      Godrej 2 door refrigirator — not cooling properly

                                      we have already have the same problem just before 1 week. they have taken 1000rs and still there is no improvement in its cooling system. please take some action as soon as possible.
                                      Since we purchased the fridge in April 2008 from M/s NEST under their invoice No. 260033 dt. 24-4-08 it has not worked properly. Our complaints to the supplier, M/s NEST, Kandath Complex, G.B.Road, Palakkad has not yielded any result.Your service provider M/s A One Trade Links, Palakkad are equally unprofessional in their approach.Even under the warranty period, they are demanding payments for their services.They have taken the fridge for repairs on 7-8-08, 17-10-08, and 8-4 09 and each time they return it after considerable delay and many reminders. We are a pharmaceutical distributors and many of the life saving drugs are to be kept in the fridge.We will be forced to take legal steps if the defective refrigerator is not replaced immediately.

                                      It was with great confidence that we decided to freeze on buying a Godrej refrigerator, going by the reliability the name Godrej suggests.
                                      Unfortunately, the experience has not been a too pleasant one for us.
                                      When right from the booking stage, the model we had selected was delivered nearly 15 days after the promised date.
                                      Well all's well that ends well, we would have liked to say..but no! That was not the end of laments for us. After a few days of service, our refrigerator stopped cooling.
                                      We informed the store from which we had purchased and we received a call from some service centre saying that a technician would be there in THREE days. Well keeping their promise, the technician arrived only on the third day, that too without calling to confirm if anyone was home. He informed us that some part (the timer) was faulty and he would come with a replacement the next day. What surprised us was the technicians promotion attempts to buy a stabilizer!
                                      The next day, we got the part replaced, and things were alright for ..alas, less than one week, when again we faced the same problem.
                                      Again came the innumerable calls, ONE more technicians visit..and till date we are stuck with a non functional fridge. We have tried calling any and all places we could , but apart from being told that the piece is out of stock, that too after we called, no one has taken any cognizance.
                                      Today, a refrigerator is not a luxury item any more but has become more than a necessity. Imagine our plight, having to throw away stocks of vegetables, and dairy items besides other things.
                                      We all keep busy schedules and such problems can cause a lot of irritation and trouble.
                                      We are totally regretting our decision to have bought home a godrej product!!

                                      We had bought Godrej Frostfree 2 door refrigerator in Jan 2001. For 9 years we have luckily had no problems, except minor wear and tear replacements and found the Bangalore service centre prompt and precise in their services.

                                      3 weeks back we shifted to Ahmedabad and since coming here we observed less cooling which we initially attributed to change in climatic conditions. But when food started spoiling, we lodged a complaint (no. 782189). Technician visited on 20th July 2010 and after due testing collected an advance payment of Rs. 1200/-.

                                      We were advised this was for compressor testing. If compressor was found defective then replacement cost would be Rs. 3600/- (Rs. 1200/- to be adjusted and only balance to be paid). If compressor was ok then only gas filling would be required (optional), total cost of which is Rs. 1200 (already collected). If we didnt want even gas to be refilled, Rs. 1000/- would be refunded and only Rs. 200 retained as service charge.


                                      On 23 July 2010, another technician visits and after testing compressor, advises us that it working FINE and only gas filling is required. So we go ahead with the gas refilling.

                                      By evening we observe that cooling has drastically reduced and we call local service centre. They advise us to wait for 24 hours.

                                      On 24th July 2010, we call them again and inform that cooling was even lesser than prior to refilling gas. They promise to send someone to check at earliest. noone comes on 24-25th july.

                                      On 26th July 2010, we file a fresh complaint with toll free number (complaint no. 784293). The 1st technician comes and checks cooling and says there is problem with gas refilling. There is moisture in it, so it will be redone.

                                      2nd technician comes back for gas refilling and when he open up the fridge again, he informs us that there is now problem with compressor (!!!), pumping is not happening.

                                      We fail to understand why this was not diagnosed initially? His justification is that it was pumping OK when he tested on 23rd July. Also when we questioned him why colloing has reduced even more, his reply is that type of gas refilled is different than what was used earlier and this gives less cooling !!!!!

                                      So is Godrej company ripping off people by using inferior quality of gas?

                                      Also, now we are been pressurised into paying additional Rs. 3600/- (so our total cost is 1200+3600). If the technician had tested properly, it would have saved us not only rs. 1200 but also lot of agony of living without refrigerator in Ahmedabad heat.

                                      Is there anyone who can address this issue?

                                      Godrej — Non cooling of Refrigerator

                                      We purchased a 165 litres Refrigerator from the local dealer eight months back. The cooling is completely failed. We have lodged so many complaints but no result.

                                      Reference above undersigned wishes to draw your kind attention towards following facts for your kind favour.

                                      • That the above refrigerator GDPV5193T shell wine red was purchased by undersigned on 21/11/2010 towards dowry article to be gifted to my daughter on her marriage date 29/11/2010.
                                      • That a no. of other articles were also purchased vide Inv. S/KN-1347 dated 21/11/2010 VIZ. Samsung LCD LA-32C350DI, Samsung Washing Machine WT-9205, Samsung WRAC AW181QAE & Timex Men’s Watch for the purpose.
                                      • The performance of all other article was found satisfactory except the above Refrigerator which is not functioning at all since very first day it was put into service.
                                      • Since it was a dowry article it defaced the image of my daughter at her in laws in the very first instance. It is presumed by them as if some old, junk & used article was conferred upper them by us.
                                      • Godrej Technician visited my daughter’s residence 89 Sunder Puri, Main Market, Ghaziabad, Near Railway Station twice till date & ultimately declared that compressor was faulty & it required immediately replacement.
                                      • I have lost my faith & interest in Godrej Permanently as the company has no effective quality control on its equipments & articles displayed in its show room.
                                      • As such it is requested that either this refrigerator be replaced with immediate effect or else the money spent by me on this defective article be returned back to me lest, I shall be bound to seek help from Consumer Disputes Redressal forum for bestowing me justice.

Then I contacted with customer care on 10 th afternoon around 5 p.m. and informed me that the gas will be charged on 11 th probably between 11 to 3 p.m. So, I have to take leave from my service today (11th Sept). But now, today around 12.p.m., they are informing me that it will not be possible to refill the gas. I think it is ridiculous as the working day of my is lost.
                                      So, I think to it is necessary to think how to serve the customer. I must admit the service is very poor and particularly the timing, why not after 5 p.m., then I or my family members will not have to take leave.

                                      sir i am rajeswararao velaga from visakhapatnam andhraparadesh..i have bought godrej penta cool refrigerator from authorised show room in the year 2006..i have once got it repaired once 2 years back by replacing mother board from ur service support as it is not effective in cooling by spending rs.4/5 thousands.Now i am again facing the same problem once again and complained to customer care and the same was registered call no.[protected] on dt/[protected] and another call no.[protected] dt/[protected] but in vain...there is no response from the service centre till today..i have reported one mr.ravindra of vijayawada godrej service official through his mobile [protected] though he has promised to supply the circuit board which is not available in visakhapatnam 2 months back, he has failed to do so till today.i have put him an another message thru whats up recently requesting to do the needful at least belated..but there is no resonse as of now...it is so unfortunate for such a reputed company like godrej ignoring the complaints of the valuable customers...pl respond to retain the confidence of the people...
