      I HAD purchased a Godrej A/C IN march 2010 and as a safety measure got a extended warranty for 4 more years ( valid till 2015) for peace of mind.
      Unfortunately since purchase my A/C kept on develping repeated problems - The display had to be changed at least 3 times as it repeatedly develped a snag and also the A/C kept on having a problem of loss of cooling for which i always used the authorised Godrej customer care to lodge the complaints which were always addressed by the dealer-ELECTROWORLD -having a Mr Ranjan in charge.
      Inspite of the fact that i had repeated problems with my A/C i was satisfied that having taken extended warranty my concerns would be professionally satisfied as it is the responsiblity of Godrej to fulfill its commitments.
      However to my shock and dismay on 19th sep 2013 yet again my a/c stopped cooling and i again logded a complaint_no-D[protected] ON 20TH SEP ,INRESPONSE TO WHICH A TECHNICIAN mR tEJINDER CAME AND ON CHECKING TOLD ME THAT THE GAS IS LEAKED AND NEEDED TO BE FILLED AND PROMISED TO COME ON 21SEP. i KEPT ON WAITING AND AS NO ONE CAME for next 3 days ,ultimately i Contacted Mr Ramjan FROM ELECTROWORLD regarding the status of my complaint and to my SHOCK he rudely refused to send anyone saying that THE COILS NEEDED TO BE CHANGED .When i told him that without checking how have you come to this conclusion he flatly refused to entertain me and said it is NOT HIS Responsibilty.
      I have had a similar experience with Voltas WHERE THE DEALER Ginny AIRCON tried the same trick on me wanting the customer to get his coils changed and ultimately when i complained to Voltas only then they responded.
      NOW they ultimately send someone (Mr Aqub) who repaired the leak ,filled the gas and resstored the A/C TO RUNNING CONDITION..hE ALSO POINTED OUT THE FACT THAT THE COILS HAVE NOW DEVELOPED MULTIPLE LEAKS WITH Repairs AND THAT IT IS ADVISED TO GET THEM CHANGED IF tHE GAS LEAKS AGAIN

        Hi,this is piyush and I would like to bring it to your notice that the refrigerator model no- GODREJ GFE 27 BD COL B STEEL purchased on[protected] caught fire the last night. It was around 3:00 A.M when my Dad woke up to go to the washroom he saw the refrigerator on fire. Within few seconds there was panic in my entire house and all were trying to bring the situation under control. By the time the main supply could be turned off there was short circuit in my mains. Within few minutes the entire refrigerator was on fire,I have attached few pictures to show you the same. My entire 14 member family is safe with no injuries by fraction of seconds.Had it been late in spotting the fire there could have been a serious accident in my house late at night when all were sleeping. I want you to look into it seriously. With companies as reputed as yours in this domain such issues shouldn't be expected,so please take it seriously.

        Godrej Edge bought on 4/Oct/2013 catches fire.

        In my house Godrej refrigerator got fire on 2/11/17 afternoon around 3.45 PM as my 3 year son and mother in law was inside bedroom. They woke-up by hearing some blowing sound, fire grew quickly and makes full home fill with black smoke. Within few seconds there was panic in my entire house and ours neighbors came and bring the situation under control. Both my son and mother in law was stand still and become more panic. Our entire village came to our house by sawing the smoke.
        On the same same day person from Tamil Nadu electricity board came and checked and conformed no issues with electricity like overload or wiring problem. Even we had stabilizer for this fridge and its working fine.

        We have called to toll free number and raised a complaint 2 days later once our house situation come to normal. Person from godrej visited our home 3 times and took poto and also enquired. The manager from godrej visited and mentioned that he will inform this to head office and will revert within a week. But still we didn't received any feedback from them. My son got panic and got fever a

        Even after 20 days of incident we didn't get any proper reply from Godrej. Take this as priority and revert us within a day. Or else we planned to file a case in consumer court.

          Dear sir , I have placed order for 3 door Kreation 450 3door cup board 0n 18th September 2013 at your Vikhroli show room. Invoice no 219196. Customer code 93 SR 3B. Receipt no 207200/18.08.2013 Full amount paid. Rs 37729. The Godrej team promised me delivery in 3 to 4 weeks. Till today no delivery. When we contacted the show room over phone , they request me to hold on and disconnect the line or the reply is "there is no stock of material". It is really shocking to me that , reputed company like Godrej is giving such evasive reply. . The Sales, Mktg team & the Senior Management spend time and energy to build the brand, However , these type of callous attitude can only bring down the reputation of the brand in the current competitive situation I had a great respect for your organization, but this incident really shaken my confidence on Brand Godrej. In view of this, It makes me to think twice, before we recommend to some one to purchase your products.             Worst fridge we ever had. Godrej edge pro which is defective model and has been replaced once and still lot of issues and as per the analysis it is the defective model from Godrej hence needs the refund of the amount asap witout any more troubls.

              I had purchased Godrej front loading washing machine in 2007. ther was water leakage from the drain pipe so i had registered a complaint with godrej customer care on 28th august 2013. The service person called me and took the details about the wasing machine.after that he has not contacted me.if i call the customer care ,they are saying thier system is showing that part is not available.Simple things like drain pipe is also not available is rediculous.kindly look into the matter

                I have purchased 1 Wall Units from Godrej Interio Shop at Dhakuria Dakshinapan market in the month of June 2013 .At the time of payment the concern person confirm me about the delivery of the goods by 24 hrs which is also written in their Cash bill clearly.It is very unfortunate that till 11th September 2013 I have not received the complete set of my wall units . The shop,s sales man is now not cooperation with me and their behavior is very bad with me . I am totally helpless pl help me in this regard. Should I proceed for the chatting case against Godrej Interio.

                  Sir,I have purchased a fully automatic godrej washing machine model no.GWI 5511 RES Vide bill no.8741 dt.25-07-12 which is under warrenty period and the said machine became out of order for one month.I have lodged a complaint before the customer care vide complain no.789806 dt.09-08-13 and the technician came and changed the programe board but he failed to start the machine then he told its morter is disturbed so it will be changed after getting the new morter but still i am waiting.No one has came after that day.Customer care tells ,you talk with your service centre which falls in purnia district in Bihar,they will repair your machine and the service centre tells we are not getting the new morter but fact is that they didnot know actually what part of the machine is really got damaged and one month passed.sir,i am facing lots of trouble and anxity please do something.

                      i purchased a godrej fridge on 25-6-13, model RD EDGEPRO 190 PDS, whose compressor Fault down on 16-8-13, i want to replace it , as i purchased new so i do not want repair, because once repair its always need repair in gases leakage specially i have past experience of this thing, so i request to concerned authority for replacement of ridge.

                        I recently bought a Jinerio sofa-set (3+2+1) from Kasturba Road Showroom, Bangalore. The dealer has delivered a 1 year old stock and has charged much higher than the MRP listed on the delivered sofa. We have been following up with the dealer but even after 3 days, no one has visited to take note of the issue. It is disappointing to see such terrible customer service and a straight case of cheating through overcharging, from a company like Godrej. Can someone look into it.

                        It has been 10 days since I raised this complaint and the only thing I have heard back from the company is that "we regret the inconvenience and we will resolve it". In fact, I have got this response 3 times on this channel and numerous times on the other channels (like call center, etc.).

                        The company even made an attempt to resolve the matter by trying to replace the old stock with an even OLDER STOCK. It seems, the whole experience was designed by the company to frustrate the customer to the extent that he accepts whatever junk that the company has delivered at whatever price they have delivered. In the hindsight, buying furniture from a road-side retail shop would have given better experience than buying from a so-called ethical company, which is not even bothered about the legality (lack of it) of selling products at rates higher than MRP listed on the product.

                        Looks like the company just tries to cover their pathetic values by making a celebrity (with an opposite image) endorse their products. Good luck to Godrej team and wish even better luck to their customers!

                          i was purchased sofa for my daughters marrage on jun2008 at that time suaitable sofa was not available in his shop so on his promise to replace sofa i pick up one readymate available sofa on full payment .

                          then i returned old sofa on dec2009 but til date he has not replaced me new sofa till date .

                          i requested he many times and visited his shop every week and month to get my sofa back since Jan2010 . i have given him sofa cloth rs 6000/- on my own cost for new sofa .now i m frusteted as his intension is not favourable.

                          he has not given any receipt for all transaction

                            I bought a Godrej Window Air Conditioner in April 2011. Initially, being a new customer, the person for installing ht A/c came promptly and installed it. He also called back after a few months to get an update on the proper functioning of the A/c. Last year we got the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) done on the A/c for four years, which is valid till 24/April/2016. This year, expecting them to call on me early, by themselves, I waited then logged a customer request on 13th April, 2013. Two days later a service technician arrived and after checking the A/c reported that the refrigerant gas had leaked and needed to be filled. As the A/c was in AMC we would not be charged for the Gas and another person would come and pick-up the A/c to be taken for refilling of the gas and then returned to us. Two days passed and no one came, after which I called in to check the status of my complaint. They said that this would be looked into, and again another service technician arrived the next day, again stating that the gas had leaked and the A/c needed to be taken to their Service Center, near Laxmi Nagar, and it would be returned the next day. Still no one came till in time. I kept getting updates and calls that someone shall visit, but no one came to pick the A/c. After more than 10 days, I kept getting assurances that someone shall come to pick the A/c and when asked they said, there is no fixed time. Are we supposed to sit all day waiting for someone from Godrej to come, as if we have nothing else to do and are sitting idle? The air-conditioner again had the gas leaking and this time they replaced the front A/c coil, which resulted in a charge of Rs. 4700/- to us. This time we felt that the A/c would work for the rest of the season, but then again on 8th August, the gas leaks. Is there no quality for the product? Is Godrej being such a large company producing such sub quality products? And that too offering such slipshod service also? My friend suggested going to Consumer court and logging a formal complaint against them. I am still contemplating on that idea.

                            I remember earlier, many years ago we had bought a Godrej single door refrigerator, and in that too when there was a problem, it took many-many months and a whole stack of letters/mails for the issues to get attended to. I wonder, if this is the way a company of this size functions, selling the products with absolutely atrocious and callous attitude at After Sales Service. I might have to reach a decision never to recommend Godrej appliances to anyone I know and even desist those from buying a Godrej appliance, if this quality and attitude continues.

                            DIspaly panel to be changed, AC not working

                            I purchased my AC on 20 May 2006. The display PCB of my AC is not working. During the complaint my AC was in warranty.The serviceman came & told that diplay PCB to be changed, but ot is not in stock. After that I am constantly chasing them & customercare also but evrytime they say it is not in stock. It is more than 50 days.Now it is the top of summers & I am facing much problem. Please sort it.

                            HI to the Appliance Team,

                            The senior Technician from Geet Aircon, Delhi came over, welded the leak and filled in the cooling gas. But after he left, I checked that the AC runs for a few minutes and then the compressor shuts down for about 15 minutes, thus effectively raising the temperature of the room. Seems that now the Thermostat has developed a defect; maybe its running at a high setting that does not change and even if the temperature setting is brought down considerably, it does not start the compressor. The result is that we start to sweat and when the AC comes on we feel cold as the sweat starts to evaporate. I really am at a loss, as to what is going on here!!!

                              I booked 2 pieces of chairs on 22nd June, 2013 from Godrej Interio Shop on Nagar Road in Pune. After confirming that they have the said model in stock etc., I placed my order. They are still delivering the chairs. On top of that, when I try to do some enquiry over the status on phone, the phone is not picked up. There are 4 nos. given to me and none seem to be attended to. Also, when I went to their site, it just does not come on.... Wonders. This is supposed to be a consumer company and their website does not respond, their sales reps do not pick up calls, their delivery person has many issues while delivering. I am not sure if people should do business with them.

                                I have a Godrej double door refrigerator and that has stopped working. I am in deep trouble as i am not getting response from your local CC team here in Tirunelveli Tamilnadu,,in the first year during guarantee period the fridge stopped working ,the service man came said gas tube fault and he filled the gas and we paid him and now again it has stopped and another godrej service man came and he says i must pay Rs4500, same gas leak but he tells that the condenser inside must be removed and kept outside i dont know what to do,still the fridge is in repair with a 5 year warranty on compressor we bought this fridge since this was branded godrej now i feel bad because of this arrogant service centre kindly make this problem rectified

                                    Its rubbish ,the car fresher with no warnings or precautionary messages on the packaging is leading customers to a valley of foolishness .

                                    I bought a godrej aer car perfume and used it as per the instructions mentioned on the pack ,disgusted when i opened the car after a day and found out the device was leaking and it pealed off all the skin of the surrounding dashboard area .

                                    now its looks awful and ugly and every time i think of Godrej as a brand i doubt its credibility


                                    can any one enlighten me about what action and further steps i may take to ensure no other fellow customer is fooled by GODREJ

                                      I need your kind attention towards my problem. sir my refrigerator is not working since last 2 months when i was in bangalore,but the refrigerator is in my home place i.e. in choudwar.after i arrived home i have marked this problem & gave a complain to godrej care on 03/05/2013 & my complain no. is- W[protected]. Here is my refrigerator details- Model no.- GFE29EZ, Unit sr. no.-[protected], Date of purchase- 11/07/2012.
                                      After giving the complain on this day one of the technician came home for checking out the problem,that day he mentioned & told that there is problem in compressor & we have to change that, but after a week when i called back then they told that no its not compressor problem but there is a problem in PCB,they told there isn't any stock now we will do it within 3 to 4 days. then i believed that they will do it. then again after 4 days i called them again,here after they said that it may take more 2 days for sure. & somehow i collected the phone no. of the area manager of godrej. i called him for this matter,he responded & promised me to make my problem done within tuesday 21st of may,i have again made a wait for that day,the day has come but on that day godrej care called me & told that the work will be done within 2 days. again after 2 days i called back to godrej care also & to the area manager also they have replied again that the work will be done within another 2 to 3 days.. and the whole week also have gone again but no steps till now..
                                      today means 07/06/2013 again i called area manager ,now he is just avoiding me by not listening anything,he picked up the phone 2 times & just replied that oh yes madame i can recognise u & ur problem I will shut out your problem just let me to confirm first & i will make u a call within 10 minutes, i have made a wait till 3 hrs after that i made another call ,again he replied that i will tell u after half an hour,again a long wait of 2 hrs & again i called back but this time he is not picking up my phone.....
                                      so hoping the best from your side. And suffering this problem the whole summer season & now its going to be rainy. so hope the necessary & quick action from your kind concern. Kindly shut out my problem or provide a brand new refrigetor of same model for me. I heve been waiting for a long time.

                                      This issue is not resolved even after 5 months. Nobody has little bit sense to care for a consumer. The response from Dealer and Godrej officer are worst and joking. It is humiliating the old lady who needs that Refrigerator.

                                        We purchased a Godrej double door refrigerator(GF 28 SF EL) few years ago, initially there were Electronic Circuit breakdown and Gas leakage problem within an year of purchase but were attented and rectified to our satisfcation. Recently the refrigerator stopped working completely. We logged a complaint with the Service deparment (D[protected]), the engineer visited and informed that the Control unit of the refridgerator has gone for a toss.
                                        As per the engineer, these model are no longer manufactured and no servicable parts are avaialable in stock or special request from Godrej.

                                        To our utter surprise the refridgerator is now lying dead without the replacment part and OEM are helpless....
                                        We didnt expected this from a company like Godrej. Definately we will never recommend a Godrej appliance....
