Dear sir,
I am the owner of a godrej fridge which i bought in 2006, december. As you must be aware of, the compressors that your company supplies come with a 5 year warranty. The compressor of the product in question breathed its last, a comfortable 5 years and 6 months from its purchase date. I,therefore , registered a complaint ,on the 2nd of july, at your toll free number [protected], the complaint ID being X[protected]. i was assured that somebody would contact me within 24 hours. This , however , didnt happen. when i called again, my calll was abruptly and rudely disconnected by your consumer service expert. My second call wsa routed to a courteous lady who helped me out and a technician reached my place in about 2 hours. he couldn't solve the problem as he hadn't brought with himself a spare compressor. Anyways, day after that, another guy shows up, replaced the compressor and took away the requisite 5700 bucks.. no problems till here. But today, after a mere fortnight, the fridge's cooling is gone again, the symptoms being exactly like the last time. Is this the type of consumer service one should expect from a company like yours?? When i decided to go for your product, it wasn't because you guys were offering some discount or anything like that. I chose Godrej because i was under the impression that you people offer good after sales service. but if this is the type of service you re offering, i see no sense in further going for your products ever again, or even recommending them. Your customer care representatives dont have the sense of politely responding to queries, your customer care centers don't have stock of spare parts, and if they do, they supply us with junk that only compounds the problem.. i have paid Rs. 5700 to end without a working fridge!! Do you guys seriously think that we customers are a fool or baffoon?? if this matter is not sorted out, i am afraid i would have to consider Legal options. Awaiting your reply,

Godrej Washing M/C — Spinning Problem
Pl note that I lodged a complain no 325298 on 2nd Aprl. One Mr Ajay Mittal attended casualy and told PCB needs relacement and asked fp advance payment of Rs 2950/ which I paid with a condition that I need fresh part & not repaired one.On 5th Aprl he turened up with repaired part with out packing.He was unable to rectify and went back with the PCB & promised to come next.Since that I have been calling [protected] with all falls promises each time nothing materalised.Pradeep &Mandip on7/4 assured 99% subsequentlyRaju called on 9/4.Nothing happened so far and I am a senior citizen is being harrased to no end.I am a retired General Manager Technical Of one of the biggest news groups of India.Now I am writting a letter to Mr Adi Godrej to convey my sufferings.
