Copy of complaint sent by my father regarding his safe being broken in by burglars. In his words, the safe was broken as easily as a "tin can":

I am writing this to complain against a Godrej Safe that I bought about a year ago. I bought your safe model SAFIRE ELECTRONIC /S.NO. 15602 on 14.04.2008 from M/S SUMIT ENTERPRISES, AL/8-B , Jail Road, Hari Nagar, New Dlhi-64 vide their bill no.1007. It was assured to me that the safe was impossible to break and would keep our valuables protected from theft. However, our house was broken into recently and the thieves very conveniently pried open the safe and took all my savings and valuable that I have so trustingly secured therein. The complaint for this robbery has been lodged at Paschim Vihar Police station today.

Just because of the trust that was instilled about the Godrej brand by your representatives, I relied to leave all my savings at home and not put them in the bank. I have ended up losing so much of what I had saved over a period of 20 years. Who is responsible for this loss? What kind of quality is a brand like yours is providing by tricking customers into purchasing a product which failed to deliver so miserably? Who is going to make up for the loss of a family that trusted in 'supposedly' one of India's top most brands that apparently focuses only on marketing and advertising gimmicks rather than actually doing what they claim to do? How in the world can you justify the product name 'safe' when a bunch of thieves could maneuver and open it like a tin can? I am going to take this matter very very seriously and follow-up with top officials to bring your company to book. In my view, You are equally responsible for this mishap as are the burglars. I will make it a point to write on as many online forums about this unfortunate incident as I can so that no one else is duped into buying your useless product. I will also take this matter to the consumer court at the earliest. I, as a customer who has grown up hearing about and seeing Godrej products, am completely and utterly disappointed for putting my faith in your product.

I have today lodged a complaint with your security service department at Mathura road, New Delhi vide complaint no. 11953. I urge you to take the matter seriously and give due compensation to me on account of failure of your product.

    Sir,

    I had purchased a godrej washing machine in feb 09 and it has been used only 10-12 times. but now, the machine has been giving problems like washing clothes continiously for 5-6 hours and water is not able to stay in the drum and it is totally in defective drainage system. i had lodged a complaint in the customer care and the complaint number was 721882 and the washing machine has been taken by the authorities for replacement and they assured me that it will be back within 4-5 days. today after 35 days they are saying they are unable to replace the required parts as they are not available. please advise me what to do with the company. this is how the service of the company i request another cunsumers like me never to trust godrej....they will show u the way to hell.

    I am disgusted with Godrej and will never buy another Godrej applicance for sure.
    vide billno.7965 i bought a washing machine semi automatic from R.Kelectronics 8 Flamingo market hisar . despite lodging complaints with tel. no. [protected] the complaint n has not been attended to kindly look into the matter.
    I Have the same drainage problem with the godrej washing machine. The most horrible part of it is there service person don't know what to do. They want to replace some parts but unfortunately they don't have spares of those parts. The problem is prevailing from more than 1 year. Now I own a washing machine but have to wash cloths from my own hand.

    Guys, I would suggest not to buy a Godrej washing machine because they don't know how to repair their own washing machine.

      GODREJ SHAMELESS SMART CARE

      I have a Godrej Fully Automatic Washing Machine and i am having Three (3) years Comprehensive AMC of that. On 12.08.2009(Complaint No. 216476) i lodged a complaint that its not working and since then i am talking to technical people and customer care people and other departments of godrej smart care on regular basis twice a day. And These people are SO SHAMELESS that they haven't given an ear to it. WHO GONNA HELP US I DONT KNOW ? I...

      This is to register a complaint against Godrej Interio, from who i had bought an entire range of furniture 8 months back. The cost of which is more than a lac rupees.
      Now no one is responding against a small defect in the furniture. Neither the dealer no the sales head o[censored]P.
      So, now i am filing a complaint in the consumer court shortly .

          Dear Sir/ Madam,

          This is to bring your notice that I have purchased a Semi-Automatic Washing Machine (Made: Godrej, Model No. GDS-650, Serial no.[protected] from M/s. Southern Agencies, Machalipattanam, in the year 2005 which had a warranty of 3 years. The warranty has been renewed on 14th December 2007 at M/s. Excel Techo Services, an authorized dealer of Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. for the period of 3 years from 30.12.2007 to 30.12.2010 by paying an amount of Rs. 2000/-. A scanned copy of the same is enclosed for your reference.

          Now since the spinner is not working, I have been calling customer care number of Godrej[protected] since 9th June 2009 but till now I have neither received a satisfactory reply from Customer care nor an engineer visited my house to repair the machine. I am furnishing here below a list of complaint numbers lodged with Godrej customer care centre:

            We had put a complaint regarding the malfunction of our Air conditioner one week back. The problem is water leaking from the unit. And you had given us a complaint ref. No.453258 regarding the same. Unfortunately, there had been no response from your side till today. Now, we are in a dilemma because there are many costly equipments in the A.C. Cabin.

            I have puchased an A/c on 11.05.2009 from Pavan Appliances Karimnagar, A.P. After installation it was found that two plastic panel pieces are not there and a big whole is seen. Though immediately reported no response for 3 months. Rat has gone inside. Poor response from this reputed Godrej Co. Very sorry state of affairs. A/C to be replaced.

            In the course of general service, I had made a complaint regarding replacement of display panel of my Godrej Air-conditioner vide Complaint No.402263 made with M/s.G.K. Aircons/Chennai-39 on 09.01.2010, which was noticed by the attendant/mechanic. The same has not be replaced till date (04.02.2010) and the person by name Mr.Sathyakumar of Godrej had not responded at all inspite of many phone calls made to him (tel: [protected]).
            It is really unfortunate that such a big concern like Godrej with whom we had purchased prodcuts (3 Air conditioner) is showing absolutely no concern to the customer and unnecessarily we had to undergo ordeal at the mercy of service providers (authorised by Godrej) for no fault o[censored]s. If no action is taken even after brining it to your notice through this, I feel we have to take up the matter with consumer forum and ultimately, the very reputation of the godrej needs to be brought to stake.

            GODREJ AC — Non Service

            It has been more than 6 months i have been calling up the Godrej showroom and the customer care to send some one to service my AC. Everytime they just give me a time and date and no one comes to my place. i have also tried to file a complaint but to no avail.
            I have purchased a 1.5 t godrej a/c from great eastern-serampore(hooghly) during apr'10 .during the m/o sep'10 the a/c machine use to run without support of remote.I made a complaint to the dealer on 3rd of of Oct'10 and given me ref no.125062 csn no.319.after 10 days the technician from service centre came and checked and informed there was a part which is damaged and to be repolaced.afater that he has taken away the said part and given me a time for one week to replace the item due to non existance of stock of the said part.to day it is 9th Nov'10..till date there was no response from the service centre irrespective of number of calls.the concerned service centre persons are giving other mobile numbers to avoid the matter.It clearly indicates the the negligence from godrej company and their service centres.Kindly advice me what to do and how to rectify the problem.the service centre no. is[protected]Mr.Paul & Service eng no.[protected]).

            SIR, I my air conditioner is not working from 10th may and i have complaint this problem to shopkeeper on 12th may, but still it is unrepaired i have called him several times but every time he makes a excuse that part is not available.also the warranty of a.c is till 4th june 2013.my complaint is also registered in company but still no action is not taken.

              Few months back I was sold a defective demo refrigerator by Vijay Sales. The following parts have conked off in WARRANTY
              1 MAIN FRIDGE DOOR DISFIGURED
              2 NEW DEFROST DOOR BROKEN
              3 THERMOSTAT DEAD
              4 LIGHT FALLEN OFF
              5 NEW VEG. TRAY BROKEN
              6 MAIN DOOR MAGNETISM NOT SATISFACTORY
              7 DEFROST BUTTON DEFECTIVE

              The fridge is still in warranty. In addition their technician cheated me of Rs, 850 for some useless component. Please let the co. refund all my money or give me a proper refrigerator.

                I have a godrej refrigerator for the past 10 years and i face constant problems with this product. The

                latest is that the refrigerator is just running at nil cooling and that too after it was serviced by two engineers 15 days ago. I logged a complaint on 27.06.09 at 11.00 a.m. in the morning and till the time i am writing this mail at 9.00 p.m. in the evening the company has neither sent any engineer nor any holding reply to service my complaint. The no on which i logged the complaint was[protected]. The complaint no given by the service centre is 183447. When i enquired the reason for not resloving the complaint, the executive on the other side replied that it is still not 24 HRS !!! and they will only look at this on Monday since Sunday is a holiday in the company. I spoke to one Mr Amrendra Kumar and on much persuasion he gave me the name of the floor manager Mr Robin which was no body but he himself since i recognised his voice and he was trying to fool me. On much persuasion with him he gave me the mail id of the company as [protected]@eureka051.com which i have not tried so far... seems this is also a fraud. I am absolutely cheesed off and bugged the way a private company is operating and paying no attn to the grievance of the customer. The executive is no less than a goon and an uneducated who does not know how to behave. I request the consumer forum to provide me the mail id of Mr Adi Godrej since he should know the ground reality and people spoiling his name. I want a stirct action against the servicing agency and a reply from the Godrej company on appointing such sub standard dealers and service providers. Its a BLATANT SHAME AND SHAM ON GODREJ...Ratan Tata could provide a car for Indians which is a dream and will run this show successfully with the new invention but Mr Godrej is still struggling to provide a WORKING REFRIGERATOR...

                I would want an early reply and resolution to this issue.

                  In 18 Months of Purchase of this bed, this bed has been damaged 3times, only once were some parts of the bed were replaced, Now the bed has been damaged again and literally broken..we paid through out Nose 26000/- Rupees for this bed, very bad quality of furniture and non-responsive behavior of Comfort Net Traders-- Keerti Nagar, Delhi( Ms Vandana) and Mr. Jitender Service quality Manager from Godrej, this is very disappointing.

                    I had purchased a Godrej Refrigerator on April 16, 2009 at 11:00AM from Great Eastern Trading Co, Garia, as they are confirmed that the material should be delivered within 8pm on that day but now the time is 10:30Pm and still Iam waiting for the Refrigerator which is not delivered, I called up so many times on[protected]/7999/8333 numbers from 8:30PM, but no response from Great Eastern Trading Co. As per there confirmation I have pay the full amount (Rs- 9000 C/M no-919). Why the materials are not delivered on company committed time?????

                    ON 10th July, 2008 paid by cheque a sum of Rs.5209.00 [Receipt No.30195[ and Rs.20081.00 [Receipt No.30194] to purchase 1 Coffer and 1 POP respectively to your shop at 9, Brabourne Road Branch, Kolkata : 700001 on the assurance of your Sales Representative one Mr. D. Roy and another Mr. Anjan that the goods will be delivered after 6 clear working days. It is a matter of great regret and shame that a compnay like you who has international reputation giving false assurance to its customer and taking hafty money for their own interest. Though the coffer has been delivered on 22nd but still, we are awaiting for POP. From last 3 days your Mr. Anjan assuring that the POP will be deliver today by evening, but his today till now not come, and another Mr. D. Roy even not willing to talk over telephone regarding this matter. Only on their assruance that the POP will delivery today ??? we have deputed our carpenters to make the stand on which we desire to place the POP and paid Rs.1320.00 [Rs.220.00 x 2 heads x 3 days] to the said carpenter.

                    So, you will surely understand that who is the gainer [definitely you] and who is looser.

                    Have you any answer in this regard ?

                    Only I can suggest you to find a place where generally liars' competition took place, send your two great sales representative namely Mr. D. Roy and another Mr. Anjan to have an excellance award on behalf of 'GODREJ'.

                      Sir, i have taken a washing machine Model No:- GWS6201 from Guptaswer enterprices Semiliguda in the dist Of Koraput ( Orissa ) last year in the Month of Oct- 2008, but after 2 months the drain valve is not operating properly, so the mashine is idel condition. and my aim was not fulfil so yet. I had complained so many time to the dealer but till date there is no action taken by the dealer or your company . so i am request to you please lookafter the matter and take the necessay action as soon as possible

                      i strongly agree with all the comments made. It (GODREJ) is the most apathetic company when it comes to customer care. i purchased a washing machine of one model and was delivered machine of a different model. when i approached the customer care, a senior person came to my house and pleaded that i accept that model itself lest the job of the sales man will go. i relented and now i am suffereing...the drain valve of the machine does not function and there is no response from either that senior official nor the customer care...

                        this is in refereence to their ad on the mumbai mirror on 18/3/2009 announcing free service camp between 18-20 March, My service no is 377316 registered on 18/3/2009 and today is the 3/4/2009 and till date nobody has visited my residence despite making several phone calls. Very bad service and false advertising. Godrej should be sued for such false advertising and no response to service calls.

                        I completely disagree with Nyssa's statement, we have been living together for quite some time, she is at work during the day & nobody is at home. hence even if people are to come for the servicing, she would not know. Knowing Nyssa, she is known for falsely accusing to get additional benefits.

                          Dear All,

                          Never buy a godrej washing machine. I owned a Fully Automatic DreamWash Machine. Within 2yrs 12 paid services, almost all parts replaced by now bacuase of damage and poor quality. Service call attended within 5-9 days, which requires a service call again in a month or so. I own refregrator, never had a problem. But this crap machine, moved my nerves crazy ! Help ... says my mom daily for machine.

                            I've been using godrej a/c(1.5 tonnes) since last 2 and half yrs .. The a/c had several problems since beggining and i've received very poor service from beggining.. Recently they said the a/c is out of gas and changed it and after a few days they say its not the problem of the a/c its something to do with the tubes.. and nevr came for service after that .. Kindly help

                              Godrej Airconditioners advertisment was appearing in the 14th March 09 - Mail Today on page 3 giving out details of the AC exchange scheme and Free Service Camp for ACs between 14-22nd March 09. The request for Free AC service was booked on 14th March 09 morning with Service Request Confirmation no as 262137.
                              Till date twice the service engineer has visited the house, however refused to provide free service claiming he not been instucted for the same. Aleady spoken to Service call center 5-6 times in last 6 days and also 3-4 times to the Service Area Supervisor and all of them have refused to acknowledge the advertisment in the newspaper and refused service.I had even sent them the scans of the newpaper advert as a proof...however all in vain.
                              This act of Godrej company has been given in the newspaper in order to Mislead the customers and also customers booking service thinking it to be free and finally Service team charging the customers for the same during their home visits.
                              Least expected act of cheating the customers from Godrej & Boyce.

                                Dear Sir,

                                We had bought a Godrej 3-door Slimline model in June last and had only complaints and problems regarding it. Finally, one month back, the company had taken a decision to replace our cup-board by another one. However, they are insisting that we bear the fine. Materials replaced within 6 months of delivery, and in the same year, do not come under the excise, VAT or octroi (as we stay in Pune) taxes. We had initially complained to them in August, but they have relented only in February. During thin time, the six months period has passed, and we are being forced to pay the extra amount for no fault of ours. Also, the employees at various levels keep misquoting the final cost of the new model that we intend to buy.

                                I would like to inform you people that I am using a godrej airconditioner which is giving me a hell lot of problem and the franchise incharge are just sitting back without making any efforts to set it right. We have been fed up calling them. Firstly they were not recieveing the calls now when that is done so there is no one to attend us. They just make false promises of sending their peple but all go in vain. They had taken our a.c and had kept with them for 5 days and had sent it back accepting that its not working and have takin advance saying that the company has to sent some parts from the head office.
                                Iam sorry to say but the after sales services of godrej is extremely poor and it seems that they are just hooking customers to sell their products any how. I would also like to inform you that the owner of the francise is MR.SHAMMI. from LUCKNOW.
                                Kindly look into this matter seriously and please send your engineer to examine my a.c as soon as posible other wise we will have to move to the' consumer forum '.

                                  I AM HAVING THE GODREJ REFRIGERATOR AND THE SAME STARTED THE PROBLEM FROM THE FIRST MONTH AND THEN ANY HOW AFTER ONE YEAR WAS ASKED TO SIGN THE SERVICE CONTRACT AND DURING LAST THREE YEARS IT CREATED LOT OF PROBLEM ( NOT COOLING, WATER DRIPPING ETC ETC). MY FRIGDE WAS CONVERTED BY THEM FROM FROST FREE TO EXTERNAL CONDENSER FRIDGE.

                                  NOW MY CONTRACT IS COMING TO AN END AND THEY ARE CALLING FOR RENEWAL BEFORE THREE MONTHS OF CONTRACT EXPIRE DATE AND THREATING OF INCREASE IN CONTRACT AMOUNT, WHILE THE AMOUNT WHAT THEY ARE CLAMING IS ALREADY INCREASED AMOUND.

                                  MY SUGGESTION NEVER BUY A GODREJ PRODUCT ( NAAM BADE PRODUCT KHOTE.)

Ltd., Okhla Showroom, New Delhi under their invoice No. SSB97725409 dt. 09/08/2007. It has stopped cooling from the date 17th June 2009. My complaints to the supplier, Gogrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., Okhla Showroom, New Delhi whose TIN No. is [protected], has not yielded any result.Your service provider Mr. Pramod is equally unprofessional in his approach.Even under the warranty period which longs for 5 years, he is not interested to visit for the services, rather he has asked me to talk to the company directly. I will be forced to take legal steps if the defective refrigerator is not replaced immediately

                                    I have booked my prefab modular kitchen on 2nd of dec.at subhash road dehradun. they took advance payment i.e 37000/-.they assured me that it will be done within 25 days.thrice i have given them reminder.we have cancelled our tours becoz of this kitchen. we have spoiled our winter-vacations.they hav broken their comittment as well as gave us mental & financial harrasment.
                                    we don't want any dealing with you in future, pls return our money back. we can't wait now.its enough.

                                    I have booked a godrej bureau for 15.500rs on may 16th with their dealer and they delivered a defect piece.I have called 'n' number of times and went to the showroom to check the one which they have delivered.after 3 days, they came and accepted the defect.They told me that will give a replacement for that after 1 day.I went to the showroom again to finalise the bureau.the store incharge(employee of the dealer)argued with me very badly that he can't deliver the bureau with packing again, since it is already opened and kept as a display piece.finally, he told me that " GET OUT OF THE SHOWROOM AND I WILL RETURN U THE CHECK". Treating a lady customer like this will improve their businees.
                                    it was a mental harrasment for me which godrej has given.

                                    I have booked my prefab sofa model JINERO 3 and 2 seater black color and ALICE coffee table (total cost Rs. 42885/-) on 18th May at Godrej lifespace store Anna Nagar Chennai branch. They took advance payment of Rs. 23000/- and they assured that it will be delivered within two weeks time. On 27th May I have got call from show room that they can able to deliver only on or before 18th June, it was agreed and balance payment (Full) was Rs. 19885/ made, now gain they called me on 11th June saying that they will deliver the sofa on or before 28th June and ……. today I have called to confirm the delivery date!... I was informed that they need tow more weeks from today!!!.

                                    The way Godrej doing the business is unfortunate and they are cheating the costumer by giving discounts. The commitment was broken and they gave us mental & financial harassments.

                                    I want to empathies few things that how the consumers have been treated by Godrej show room, it is unacceptable phenomena. My kind request to the Godrej heads please understand consumers feeling & problems it is not only the business it is chain link, do you think we will buy Godrej product here after????????????

                                    I have puchased godrej storewel CENTURIAN model almira on 09/10/2009 from SANT SALES at HARIDWAR(Uttrakhand).But the almira supplied is having defective locks and defective item with alignment.Godrej offocials pl look into complain otherwise consumer forum/judicial process will be followed.

                                    I had purchased one dinning table with 6 chairs and sofa set from your authorised dealer M/s Wardhwan Corporation 7-The Mall Shimla vide bill no.4628 dated, 23rd.August, 2009.Immedieately on the receipt of the above consignment I lodged a complaint about the fault on the top of the dinning table to your above authorised dealer on 24th August, 2009 and one official named Sh.Parkash was deputed to inspect the table which he did after four fice days and reported the matter to your Companies office at Chandigarh.Thereafter, I was assured that some one from Chandigarh would be deputed to look in the complaint but no one has turned up so far which is a matter of concern.I made variuos requests to adress my complaint but all in vain.I have never expected such kind of attetude and dilly dallying tactices from a company like Godrej which has high reputation among the consumers.I am really dishertented with the present attetude of your Companies handling my concern.I hope that the Company will address my complaint at earliest .

                                      we bought a Godrej Dining Set from a dealer called Designo, in Mulund Mumbai in Aug 08. This was for a Dining Table plus 6 chairs. The Chair broke in Nov 08, that is within 3 months. I telephoned designo the dealer and they took 2 weeks to send some one to home to have a look at the same. Someone came inspected and said he will do the needfull. Waited for a week and when asked what is the status they cooly mention that I should telephone Godrej and lodge a strong complaint and as a user it will be more weightage than they complaining. never understood the logic. Lodged a complaint at Godrej call centre. Promptly they send a SMS saying complaint number and some one will attend to the problem. One week passes away no one turns up. called up again. Get a new complaint number and also informed once again someone will attend to within 48 hours. 5 days again passes away. Again I called up. Some one comes and take pictures of the Chair as theough he has come to see the scene of crime. Nothing happended for a 3 days. Called up the call centre and informed them categorically that even if takes 1 hour for me to hold I would do so to ensure someone seriously takes care of the problem. Line got disconnected. Someone up there had mercy on me and I was pleasantly suprised to receive a call and set up a conference call with some manager called mr. Boumi or Mr.Homi. He saus i am here to help the customers and give them good service, etc which when I heard, I had to control my "emotional outbursts".

                                      Next day some one turns up and brings a chair and which has no resemblances whatsoever to other 5 chairs.

                                      Which means I was back to square one.

                                      I told myself what I might have experienced might be one off case and this time maybe the situation has improved. So called up again on 25th dec. Again a SMS mentioning compliant number. No response further. Spoke to Mr. Goliwala who was absolutely out of his mind giving me suggestions...there would be some minor differences in furnitures so maybe I should adjust, I should take the chair to Designo, etc, etc. When I tried to be agressive with him for his audacious suggestions, mentioned that he will send some one. Waited for 48 hours. Called up again. Again Mr. Goliwala says that he will send someone. he did. Again the guy comes and checks the now famous "scene of crime". Wait for couple of days if Godrej will ring back. But alas we are Indians, right. Absolutely tolerant and always waiting in antciaption of good to happen. On last call Mr Goliavala says 8 days for replacement.

                                      This is India.

                                      Had they just replaced a simple chair without asking questions as they do in USA, I would have forever felt good of the company and would have stuck to them for my purchases. But now, NEVER.

                                      I remember during my last trip to USA, I had been to "BEST BUY" the electronic outlet. I bought some adapter and it did not serve my purpose and I wanted to return it. I was thinking what to mention if they ask me why i wanted to return. When i went to the counter to return, not a SINGLE QUESTION or EYEBROW raised even though I did not have the original pack. They just returned the money...100%.

                                      That is the difference.

                                      We Indian are used to this run of the mill post supply service and Chalta Hai attitude. However big the company in India is, they are all the same. They derive some sadistic pleasure, I presume, seeing the users being taken for a ride and face troubles post sales.

                                      Yes I agree with you. In India, even in Mumbai consumers are just taken for granted and ride. I had similar experience with their freeze.
                                      Consumers should keep posting their experiences to improve standards for not only our benefit but as a race we dont harbour the same attitude for all that we make for global markets.

                                      Godrej furniture — hydraulic not functioning

                                      Godrej/3 Odium wall set — Pathetic service

                                      This is my complaint against one of the well know/prestigeous company know for its high brand value product, has left bad taste in my mouth. This is my first time exp, with this company however not new to its quality of product but we have had some bad/disappointmeting time dealing with this comapny for single request or a complaint so as to say,.

                                      We purchased one 3 wall unit ODIUM set for worth RS 14000 arund at Godrej showroom in Dombivli East. The product got delivered to our new home the very next day, unfortunately the lower portion of the set has been damaged due to water at our mistake (Surprising that the small quantity of water damaged the wall set ). Immediately we contacted the same showsromm from where we bought the product, and up on our request they arranged a surveyor Mr.More [protected] to survey the product, he visited the place on 18 or 19 th of March and promised that he wiould talk to the superior regarding the matter and change the low part of the product.

                                      However, to our surprise he never bother to call me back afetr that till now and we had to follow up with him on 3 to 4 days and got reply that the same can not fixed as per his talk with the senior managemnt.

                                      I m deeply shocked to see such a behaviour of the company person who shows so concern while inspecting the product.

                                      My sole purpose of writing this issue is to let the world or management of Godrej know about the harassment that their customers go through at initial stage itself.

                                      And waiting for the resolution of my greivance.
                                      I had bought three items on 22.10.1008 from Assets India, Vaishali, sec 4, Ghaziabad (invoice no- 156)

                                      1.clara wall unit beech

                                      2.shoe cabinet 202 honey

                                      3.olive din set

                                      I am very unsatisfied and feel very bad with the shoe cabinet and din set as the doors of cabinet and sitting platform of the chairs of the din set repeatedly fell apart due to very poorly fitted devices (screws, hinges). Even 2-3 times the seated persons fell down due to these poor form of the chairs. It got 2-3 time repaired by the godrej servicemen but it was never fiited at its best and the problem remained unsolved. Now I have to spend Rs 250 (minimum) to get them repaired. My advice is not to buy Godrej furniture. They are flimsy, fragile and not serviced.

                                      I too want to voice against Godrej for the inferior quality of the product. I bought a Dinner table model Eva with six chairs.One of the chairs gave in just seven motns time(chair's back got detached from the main frame).After a long follow-up, the broken chair was replaced. But we are never satisfied neither with the table nor chairs.Table has a problem of swaying even by the slightest push. Painting is peeling off the chair frames. I want replacement of this dinner table chair set. the whole family is totally unsatisfied with this dinner table chair set. It is about 11 months old now. So many com[plaints have fallen in deaf ears.I had purchased this dinner table -chair set fro a Vikhroli showroom in Mumbai.
                                      The Mumbai office of Godrej refused to attend to the problems we mentioned citing that these were the problems not covered under warranty. We want this Company is compelled to replace our dinner tablr chair set.
