I have booked my prefab modular kitchen on 2nd of dec.at subhash road dehradun. they took advance payment i.e 37000/-.they assured me that it will be done within 25 days.thrice i have given them reminder.we have cancelled our tours becoz of this kitchen. we have spoiled our winter-vacations.they hav broken their comittment as well as gave us mental & financial harrasment.
we don't want any dealing with you in future, pls return our money back. we can't wait now.its enough.

I have booked a godrej bureau for 15.500rs on may 16th with their dealer and they delivered a defect piece.I have called 'n' number of times and went to the showroom to check the one which they have delivered.after 3 days, they came and accepted the defect.They told me that will give a replacement for that after 1 day.I went to the showroom again to finalise the bureau.the store incharge(employee of the dealer)argued with me very badly that he can't deliver the bureau with packing again, since it is already opened and kept as a display piece.finally, he told me that " GET OUT OF THE SHOWROOM AND I WILL RETURN U THE CHECK". Treating a lady customer like this will improve their businees.
it was a mental harrasment for me which godrej has given.

I have booked my prefab sofa model JINERO 3 and 2 seater black color and ALICE coffee table (total cost Rs. 42885/-) on 18th May at Godrej lifespace store Anna Nagar Chennai branch. They took advance payment of Rs. 23000/- and they assured that it will be delivered within two weeks time. On 27th May I have got call from show room that they can able to deliver only on or before 18th June, it was agreed and balance payment (Full) was Rs. 19885/ made, now gain they called me on 11th June saying that they will deliver the sofa on or before 28th June and ……. today I have called to confirm the delivery date!... I was informed that they need tow more weeks from today!!!.

The way Godrej doing the business is unfortunate and they are cheating the costumer by giving discounts. The commitment was broken and they gave us mental & financial harassments.

I want to empathies few things that how the consumers have been treated by Godrej show room, it is unacceptable phenomena. My kind request to the Godrej heads please understand consumers feeling & problems it is not only the business it is chain link, do you think we will buy Godrej product here after????????????

"GODREJ" a great brand name for Indian house holds - some one at GODREJ should look into the above complaints.

only yesterday I got impressed with the quality of GODREJ modular kitch - extremely good looking and desired to finalise on GODREJ.

Accidently I have seen the above complaints today - I should think many times before deciding on Godrej products..
I have puchased godrej storewel CENTURIAN model almira on 09/10/2009 from SANT SALES at HARIDWAR(Uttrakhand).But the almira supplied is having defective locks and defective item with alignment.Godrej offocials pl look into complain otherwise consumer forum/judicial process will be followed.

I had purchased one dinning table with 6 chairs and sofa set from your authorised dealer M/s Wardhwan Corporation 7-The Mall Shimla vide bill no.4628 dated, 23rd.August, 2009.Immedieately on the receipt of the above consignment I lodged a complaint about the fault on the top of the dinning table to your above authorised dealer on 24th August, 2009 and one official named Sh.Parkash was deputed to inspect the table which he did after four fice days and reported the matter to your Companies office at Chandigarh.Thereafter, I was assured that some one from Chandigarh would be deputed to look in the complaint but no one has turned up so far which is a matter of concern.I made variuos requests to adress my complaint but all in vain.I have never expected such kind of attetude and dilly dallying tactices from a company like Godrej which has high reputation among the consumers.I am really dishertented with the present attetude of your Companies handling my concern.I hope that the Company will address my complaint at earliest .
This is with refrence to my complaint lodged on your web site about 32 days ago but no action has been inititaed by your company so far which is highly deplorable.The complaint was about my purchase of Dinning Table and six chairs vide bill no.4628 dated, 23rd August, 2009 from your authorised show room M/s Wardhwan Corporation The mall Shimla (HP).I would once again request you to kindly adress my complaint faining whcih I shall be constrained to move to the consumer redressal form to seek juistice.I am still hopeful that you will atleast attend my complaint shortly.
After sales service is very poor which needs to be improved to gain the faith of the consumers.
i have purchased a new flat in (ranchi)bariatu for which I had visited godrej interio showroom for modular kitchen which is situated in (ranchi) ratu road.they first told me that they wanted to visit site first but still in two months and four reminder they didn't got time for visitint site.i dont know what r they thinking.

Hi to all i request everyone dont go for godrej products.
one side stories are misleading, complaints are too old, must have been resolved by now.
both customers and vendors should work together to resolve issues.

    we bought a Godrej Dining Set from a dealer called Designo, in Mulund Mumbai in Aug 08. This was for a Dining Table plus 6 chairs. The Chair broke in Nov 08, that is within 3 months. I telephoned designo the dealer and they took 2 weeks to send some one to home to have a look at the same. Someone came inspected and said he will do the needfull. Waited for a week and when asked what is the status they cooly mention that I should telephone Godrej and lodge a strong complaint and as a user it will be more weightage than they complaining. never understood the logic. Lodged a complaint at Godrej call centre. Promptly they send a SMS saying complaint number and some one will attend to the problem. One week passes away no one turns up. called up again. Get a new complaint number and also informed once again someone will attend to within 48 hours. 5 days again passes away. Again I called up. Some one comes and take pictures of the Chair as theough he has come to see the scene of crime. Nothing happended for a 3 days. Called up the call centre and informed them categorically that even if takes 1 hour for me to hold I would do so to ensure someone seriously takes care of the problem. Line got disconnected. Someone up there had mercy on me and I was pleasantly suprised to receive a call and set up a conference call with some manager called mr. Boumi or Mr.Homi. He saus i am here to help the customers and give them good service, etc which when I heard, I had to control my "emotional outbursts".

    Next day some one turns up and brings a chair and which has no resemblances whatsoever to other 5 chairs.

    Which means I was back to square one.

    I told myself what I might have experienced might be one off case and this time maybe the situation has improved. So called up again on 25th dec. Again a SMS mentioning compliant number. No response further. Spoke to Mr. Goliwala who was absolutely out of his mind giving me suggestions...there would be some minor differences in furnitures so maybe I should adjust, I should take the chair to Designo, etc, etc. When I tried to be agressive with him for his audacious suggestions, mentioned that he will send some one. Waited for 48 hours. Called up again. Again Mr. Goliwala says that he will send someone. he did. Again the guy comes and checks the now famous "scene of crime". Wait for couple of days if Godrej will ring back. But alas we are Indians, right. Absolutely tolerant and always waiting in antciaption of good to happen. On last call Mr Goliavala says 8 days for replacement.

    This is India.

    Had they just replaced a simple chair without asking questions as they do in USA, I would have forever felt good of the company and would have stuck to them for my purchases. But now, NEVER.

    I remember during my last trip to USA, I had been to "BEST BUY" the electronic outlet. I bought some adapter and it did not serve my purpose and I wanted to return it. I was thinking what to mention if they ask me why i wanted to return. When i went to the counter to return, not a SINGLE QUESTION or EYEBROW raised even though I did not have the original pack. They just returned the money...100%.

    That is the difference.

    We Indian are used to this run of the mill post supply service and Chalta Hai attitude. However big the company in India is, they are all the same. They derive some sadistic pleasure, I presume, seeing the users being taken for a ride and face troubles post sales.

    Yes I agree with you. In India, even in Mumbai consumers are just taken for granted and ride. I had similar experience with their freeze.
    Consumers should keep posting their experiences to improve standards for not only our benefit but as a race we dont harbour the same attitude for all that we make for global markets.

    Godrej furniture — hydraulic not functioning

    Godrej/3 Odium wall set — Pathetic service

    This is my complaint against one of the well know/prestigeous company know for its high brand value product, has left bad taste in my mouth. This is my first time exp, with this company however not new to its quality of product but we have had some bad/disappointmeting time dealing with this comapny for single request or a complaint so as to say,.

    We purchased one 3 wall unit ODIUM set for worth RS 14000 arund at Godrej showroom in Dombivli East. The product got delivered to our new home the very next day, unfortunately the lower portion of the set has been damaged due to water at our mistake (Surprising that the small quantity of water damaged the wall set ). Immediately we contacted the same showsromm from where we bought the product, and up on our request they arranged a surveyor Mr.More [protected] to survey the product, he visited the place on 18 or 19 th of March and promised that he wiould talk to the superior regarding the matter and change the low part of the product.

    However, to our surprise he never bother to call me back afetr that till now and we had to follow up with him on 3 to 4 days and got reply that the same can not fixed as per his talk with the senior managemnt.

    I m deeply shocked to see such a behaviour of the company person who shows so concern while inspecting the product.

    My sole purpose of writing this issue is to let the world or management of Godrej know about the harassment that their customers go through at initial stage itself.

    And waiting for the resolution of my greivance.
    I had bought three items on 22.10.1008 from Assets India, Vaishali, sec 4, Ghaziabad (invoice no- 156)

    1.clara wall unit beech

    2.shoe cabinet 202 honey

    3.olive din set

    I am very unsatisfied and feel very bad with the shoe cabinet and din set as the doors of cabinet and sitting platform of the chairs of the din set repeatedly fell apart due to very poorly fitted devices (screws, hinges). Even 2-3 times the seated persons fell down due to these poor form of the chairs. It got 2-3 time repaired by the godrej servicemen but it was never fiited at its best and the problem remained unsolved. Now I have to spend Rs 250 (minimum) to get them repaired. My advice is not to buy Godrej furniture. They are flimsy, fragile and not serviced.

    I too want to voice against Godrej for the inferior quality of the product. I bought a Dinner table model Eva with six chairs.One of the chairs gave in just seven motns time(chair's back got detached from the main frame).After a long follow-up, the broken chair was replaced. But we are never satisfied neither with the table nor chairs.Table has a problem of swaying even by the slightest push. Painting is peeling off the chair frames. I want replacement of this dinner table chair set. the whole family is totally unsatisfied with this dinner table chair set. It is about 11 months old now. So many com[plaints have fallen in deaf ears.I had purchased this dinner table -chair set fro a Vikhroli showroom in Mumbai.
    The Mumbai office of Godrej refused to attend to the problems we mentioned citing that these were the problems not covered under warranty. We want this Company is compelled to replace our dinner tablr chair set.

    I have purchased a godrej computer chair ffrom barnala marketing agencies, ferozepur road ludhiana in 2011.We are having constant problem with the chair and every 3 or 4 months the shock absorbers are not working.They are saying that they do not have heavy duty shock absorbers right now and might be available after 15 or 20 days.I am highly dissatisfied with the service.I hope you will look into the matter.

      One Godrej was purchased in the month of February, 2008. Immediately after purchasing, we lodged a complaint with Godrej, Delhi that this fridge is making too much of noise, likewise air planes make after landing and taking off. But engineer of Godrej gave us a lame plea that this being a Frost Free fridge, it will create such noises. We were not satisfied with the plea but kept mum. After few days this complaint was again lodged but the same reply was given. Thank God now our fridge makes no noise as it died on 31.12.08 and now it is lying like a dead elephant.

      Actually Godrej people were pressing us hard to take an extended warranty but we refused, thinking that a good new product normally runs 5-7 years without any problem. But our views were wrong, Godrej products last only for few months, then only extended warranties help.
      I have purchased a Godrej Refrigerator Model V2 GDP-195 on 3.10.2008 from your dealer "Video Plaza", Muchipara, Durgapur - 713212. There was a gift offer of 3 pcs Non-stick cookware on that purchase. But your Dealer unable to give me the aforesaid gift at that time. I have requested your dealer in several times to give me that gift. After one month they have given a gift pack which was not packed properly and partly open. Whenever I opened the pack I found that instead of three pcs of cookware, there was only one piece. I refused the gift instantly. Till now the dealer saying that they could not do anything in this regard because the problem is from Godrej's end. Please verify and reply as soon as possible.

      I think this type of problem will hamper the Godrej's goodwill and loss of business in long run.

      godrej/godrej eon refrigerator — complaint office not attending complaint

      refrigerator broke down. Complaint logged at Amritsar Complaint Centre on 14/5/09 against complaint no.154 but till date no one has attended the complaint nor any response
      i have registered a complaint regarding the defective part of my refrigerator on dated 08/04/2009, (my sevice call no. 891737) in mathura (u.p.).i have made thousand calls regarding replacement of that parts in mathura & main head office, but still parts is not replaced.please replace my refrigerator parts as soon as possible.

      The service provided by Godrej in Chenai is too poor. I bought a 1.5 Ton window A/C from the authorised dealer, M/S Jeyam & Co, Anna Nagar. After 06 months o[censored]se the compressor starting capacitor went defective twice. Then after 03 years o[censored]se, the compressor failed to start. I made a complaint to the dealer, they directed me to Godrej service Tel. No.[protected]. After i made the complaint on 10 Jun 09, there was no practical response. After frequent phone calls, one service engineer from M/s Vikram Allied services( The Authorised Godrej Service provider) came for inspection and within 02 minutes, he said the compressor is defective & need to be changed. He charged Rs.350.00 and left. Then again i made freq Ph. calls, Service Engr from M/s Vikram Allied services came and demanded Rs.2100.00 towards fitment of new compressor, though the compressor was under guarantee. I gave him Rs. 500.00 and told him that i would pay the remaining Rs.1600.00 after completion of A/C repairs. On 06th July 09, M/s Vikram allied engineer brought the A/C after repairs( He claimed, he had renewed the compressor), but when installed, the A/C failed to start and showed the same initial symptom when i made complaint on 10 Jun09. The svce engineer claims that my A/C was working fine in his workshop. Again the A/C was taken back to workshop 0n 06 Jul and brought back on 07 Jul.It was tested, showing bthe same initial problem. The service engr now says there is fault in my house wiring, that is why the compressor is not starting. This could have been checked by the svce engr on the first day when he came for the inspection of defect. M/s Vikram allied services is highly cheating, actually, he has not done any thing in my A/C and claiming RS2100.00 Almost one month is over, i have spent Rs.850.00, and the A/C is still not-operational.
      I have bought a Godrej Eon Refrigerator double door at a whooping amount of 22k INR. After 1.5 years of buying, it started giving trouble. Initially it stopped working. The technician replaced a part and after 3 days, the freeze again stopped working. Again Gas was filled and told that there will not be any issue. After one week of this, the freeze again stopped working. And now we want it to be replaced. We have been giving hundreds of calls to the Bangalore office, but no confirmation is received yet regarding the rectification.
      Freeze is an essential part of a household. Please suggest never buy a godrej refrigerator. ekdum dabba hai.

      Godrejappliances — Defective / Dead machine / not working

      I have purchase a Godrej Washing machine from MORE MEGASTORE, City Centre, sector-10, Rohini, New Delhi-110085, & they delivered me a dead/not working machine, i request them to repair it or replace it , they answered me that they are responsible for the product only More megastore resposiblity over after getting payment, even they sold defective product, on approching the company (godrej) send their representative to repair the machine, but the machine was declared defective by the agent & advice that ask the seller to replace it but More megastore people are so bad in nature & unfreidly behabior that they are not only not cooperating, everytime told that the company will do the replacement & repair.

      Godrej Appliances- washing machines — Complaint not registered

      It is really disgusting . On one side your washing machine is out of order and on the other nobody is attending the complaint .

      I am a owner of Godrej washing Machine for last six years . Very minor complaints were there in this period . but in the month of May the drying action stopped working . I gave a complaint on 16th /17th vide complaint no 759100. The first person attended the complaint could not set it right . Then the other person Mr P K mohanty came and corrected the problem by putting one belt . He gave a reciept of Rs 500/- including the belt & service charges , vide reciept no 2178.of INSTA CARE & Services , Shahid Nagar.This man suggested us to go for a AMC . We were supposed to go for a vaccation . So when we came back we did the AMC on 10th june vide reciept no 2200 . On 2nd Aug I registered again the same complaint . The spinning action again stopped . Th ecomplaint no is 769369. On 3rd of Aug , a technician came to check waht is the problem . But didnt corrected it . Today i called the complaint centre , they replied that they will inform the status . Afternoon again I called , they said part is not available . Now again one person Mr Sukant called me that tommorow the same person will come , who recieved your AMC money , to return the money .

      I am surprised at the attitude of these people . Instead of giving me the service , they are further harrasing me by returning the money that too after two months . This is realy a hopeless situation
      We had purchased Godrej Refrigerator on 12 / 11/ 2012, and we had complained about the door damaged and Ice Tray Problem (when we twist the Ice tray ice will not fall into the container), and lodge a compliant. Door was replaced after 18 days, and tray was replaced saying that might be tray problem. and now the problem still exist and called again, and the tech visited the house and he says that in some the fridge it will happen and i can go and chk in the showrooms if i need. Are they fooling us saying the fridge which they have kept in the showrooms is on.I m really fedup of calling cust care and loading a complaint.
      So useless executive they have, working in the Godrej and not helpful.
      Please never buy Products from Godrej.
      This is my 3rd email reminder..

      When is the product being replaced?

      This is in regards with the above mentioned product.

      I have been facing problems numerous problems ever since I purchased the product.

      1st on arrival of the product the spare parts were missing which I had to pay for.

      Then the AC never worked properly & upon servicing the product there was an issue of severe Gas leakage which has not been fixed till date.

      Your technicians have attempted to fix the problems 3 times in the past couple of months but it is still unresolved.

      I urge you to replace the product & not give me further headaches.

      Give me a date when the new product will arrive & close the matter on priority or else I will be forced to take drastic steps against substandard product & service delivery.

      The service provided by Godrej in Chennai is too poor. for refrigerators no cooling complaint given on 21.06.2013, call no is C[protected], the next day a message came that technician will be attending your complaint, but not call or no one came, Then i call the call center back on 24.06.2013 they are given information technician telling that its not under is area, by phone & as per sms location unable ti find, so they will send the technician for service but till no further action, i call three time back, they are telling we will send today on 25.06.2013 before 11.30 am. till not action.
      Message coming we are unable to locate your address, please call center back to give your address detail.they not having fund to make a call for any problem. Then i call now they are telling, we will register the complaint back they will come tomorrow or i will give the service center phone no you have touch with them, is the good feedback, by only same forward message comes three times unable to find location.

      After giving compliant we have to call daily two time for feedback & remember, they will send the same forward message to call them bcz they cannot able to all us & we had given to following the service center. daily.

      The thing is that after selling they can able to came & install. If any issue they unable to locate your address, such type of service is maintained.
      Pls dont give such type of inconvenience to customer.
      Take the need action.

        Dear Sir,

        I had bought a refregator godrej make GDE23C2 on 14th May, 2008 from Girias Investment, Brigrade Road. The refregator was gifted to my brother and delivered to his residence. I opened the fridge for usage and to my utter horror which I could not beleive the whole fridge was damaged and the glass was completely broken inside. The compressor was hanging precrously behind the fridge. Immedately I called up GIRIA's and they replaced the fridge the next day. To my dis-appointment again, the replaced fridge was also was made of sub-standard materials and I had to call the service engineer to rectify the Freezer Door which was not closing at all. The service person promised to replace the same immediately and he went back.

        I again follwed up and it gave up.

        Again in September / October, I complained and the service person came to rectify the same. But this time he bought the Bush for some stand, I don't know why.

        Finally, I lodged a complaint again thru the call center on 22nd October, 2008 and finally a formal complaint was registered and was given a complaint number 807071 thru SMS.

        After 2 days I got another SMS stating that my spares have been requested for and it should be received and would be replaced soon.

        On 10th November the godrej branch in-charge called me to inform me that the spares have come and it would be replaced on 11th November, 2008.

        Finally, I was happy that something has happened and to my shock again, they committed the same blunder again and they bought spares which did not suit my fridge.

        I again spoke to the godrej branch in-charge and she promised to check and get back in 30 minutes. It is been more than 1 hour and I am yet to receive the call.

        My humble request to all the consumers, do not go for godrej products. It is just atricious.

          I PURCHASED AN AC FROM GODREJ ON 05/05/08. A GODREJ STABILIZER WAS ALSO PURCHASED FROM THE CO WITH AC. THE STABILIZER WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. A COMPLAINT WAS REGO ON 07/10/08 REF NO 180766 WHICH WAS FORWARDED TO '"SHIVAY ELECTRONICS" OF GHAZIABAD (AUTH SERVICE CENTRE). ON 16/10/08 ENGG FROM SERVICE CENTRE CAME AND CARRIED THE STABILIZER TO THE WORKSHOP. ON 21/10/2008 THE CO SENT SOME OTHER OLD REPAIRED STABILIZER IN REPLACEMENT TO MY NEW PRODUCT. I REFUSED TO TAKE.           I purchased a Godrej split Ac1.1 T Model No.GSC 13GA WHH on 1/4/2009 and became (April) Fool.
          Invoice number 3 dated 1/4/2009 of the dealer Quilon Radio Service Kottayam, Kerala. It has been installed by the technicians from QRS Kottayam.Installation and a Guardian Stabilizer were free as a seasonal offer from the dealer. But the compressor stopped after working for 15 minuts. Dealer QRS Kottayam part of a reputed Kerala Retail chain is refusing to replace the Unit. Instead of replacing the unit they booked a complaint with Godrej and registered as call no.452045 on 4/4/2009. On 6th and 7th April QRS informed me the technicians left their office to my home for servicing the faulty unit. But nobody came to my residence. On 8th two technicians from Godrej service center came to my home and tried to repair the unit .But they failed to correct it. They offered to come on 9th with some spare parts. When I called the service center as no body came they informed that technician is on the way to my house but he did not arrived.
          During day time Iam the only person in the house and for the past one week Iam waiting for the technicians avoiding my daily works and other activities. Iam in great tension due to loss of my hard earned money and stress due to one weeks work loss and sleeping in the bedroom converted air tight for the installation of Ac.

            My office Godrej Split AC is not working since last month 3rd. I complained to the distributor but no body responded for more than a week. After one week some body came and couldn't rectify the problem and told that another technician will come. It again took another week for the other technician to come and then he came and told that the sensor in the wall mounted unit for remote control is not working and will come back with the spare next day means on 18th of February but today is March 10th and after several calls to the service people no body is able to give proper feedback and saying that tomorrow we will send. But somany tomorrows have already gone still my problem couldn't be rectified. If this is the attitude of your service staff then in future nobody will be intersted to buy your product and also no body will recommend to others. Please look into the matter with very seriously and take necessary action to help the customer to restore faith in your company and products.

            We had purchased from Southern Agency, Visakhapatnam.

            Both the Southern Agency and your Service Centre staffs are useless and not fit for the job. There is no professional attitude at all.

            i have bought a multi flex book shelf from southern agencies, tanuku (andhra pradesh) branch.
            i paid advance and after one week i received the goods.But the paint was damaged to some extent.
            they told that in transportation it was lost. they showed how the 8 panels in the shelf were packed without any inter leaves betweem them. i felt atleast some old news papers may be kept them. so i hope you will make on packing goods.

            We have givan a complaint against our Godrej Pentacool Refregertor on 23rd Aug 2009 and the complaint number is 777861 today 26 Aug 2009 and after a 4 days period no one attened the complaint or any of the guys asked what happened to ur refregerator. It means Godrej needs only money from the public and they dont intrested to give a better service after sale. And withing 4 yrs several complaints we lodged. but the service personal come to attend after a week or 10 days. We have done a great mistake that we buy a godrej product.
            I went to M/s Southern Agencies at MG Road, Vizianagaram to purchase a Godrej Interio slimline store well with mat finsih doors and curved glass for domestic purpose. The dealer refused to supply the same saing that it is not profitable form to suppy a store well with glass and he can supply only store well.

            Immediately I went to visakhapatnam and visited the /s Southern Agencies at Dwarakanagar, Visakhaptnam and enquired there. They told that they will deliver the product at free of cost within the city limits. Since I am in vizianagaram which is @ 50 Km it is not feasible for me.

            So please advise M/s Southern Agencies at MG Road, Viziangaram to supply the product at an early date.

            Godrej is a reputed company? Well even I thought the same till 2 months back, But well Godrej is no longer a reputed company .. Its a Company filled with arrogant crooks... Once they have your money they care a damn for you... There is NO after sales service and NO customer support. I have purchased a Nile recliner for about Rs 16, 000 and just within 7 months the stitching came out and when I tried to lodge a complaint there was no one to address the issue... Finally after several calls and visits they sent their Guy who after examining the recliner said that the upper leather cushion will be replaced free of costs... I asked this guy if I had to pay any cash for his visit and he said NO.. I even offered him Rs 50 so he would get things done fast...but he didn't take it ... Anyway after 5 days I get a call from Godrej and some Rude Arrogant and Stupid Guy who doesn't even know how to talk to customers says that this problem was not covered under warranty since it was an upholstery issue .. (wow stitches coming out is an upholstery issue?) Its just a sign of POOR quality and third grade materials used .. (Godrej probably sources all these Cheap quality stuff from China and sells it under its label)

            This Person further went on to say that I didn't pay the guy who had visited Rs 250 Visiting charges ..that is when I lost it and gave him some piece of my mind .. Telling him that if a person who can buy a product worth Rs16000 would have no problem paying Rs250 visiting charges and also told him that I did offer this guy money which he refused... I further told him that this was not an upholstery issue but an issue of Cheap materials used because of which the stitches had come out in just 6 to 7 months .. I believe this person understood that I wont take this lying down and asked me to contact one Mr Vispy at Vikhroli who was the head of Godrej Interio Dept...

            Anyway Its been 2 months now and still this problem hasnt been taken care of by Godrej, I have finally decided to lodge a Complaint with the consumer court and get this issue settled plus get compensated for 2 months of frustration, Godrej will have to pay a good price for this callous and unethical attitude it has towards its customers.

            So.. Do yourself some favour and dont purchase any Godrej product .. coz you will be completely frustrated because of the quality and the after sales service... Godrej is no longer the Godrej it used to be ... It has completely gone to the DOGS!

              I purchased an AC of godrej in April 2008 and then till now it has became a headache for me. The air vents from where cold air comes are broken now, it is not such part that a customer will not touch. Every time i wanted to change the air flow, a grill cracks. I complained to godrej but the behavior of that guy (Mr. Harbaksh ) was shocking. He said do whatever you want. I m now in a big trouble. Please help me.

              I purchased an air conditioner Model No. GSC 18 G 1 WHZ on 18/05/2009 from M/s Payal Enterprices, Korba after installation its vane operation is giving frequent problem.The matter has been apprised to your Authorised Dealer Service provider at Korba and same has been attended by finding the fault in the geared motor drive 30/05/09 but same was not working properly then again checked on 11/07/09 and as per their finding the geared drive motor with mechanism needs to be replaced.It is therefore requested that please arrange to make arrangement the genuine aforesaid spares to your Authorised Dealer Service provider at Korba at the earliest so that problem shall be attended.At present A.C. is running on bypass vane operation mode done by the mechanic of Authorised Dealer Service provider at Korba M/s M/s Payal Enterprices.Awaiting for your needful in this matter please.

                We bought a couple of cupboards (Vienna Slimline) from the Godrej Lifespace Showroom in Mulund, Mumbai on September 5th along with full payment. They said that the product was not in stock and we have to wait "3-4 weeks" for the product. We really liked the product and therefore decided to wait inspite of intense inconvenience.

                Today is 11th October, and after about 20 phone calls and bickering with the Showroom salesperson for the last week or so, they just now informed us that they are unable to deliver the product. I will have to go to the showroom again and then they are going to return the money "within 8 days". No compensation etc. If "3-4 weeks" means, according to Godrej, never, then I am afraid to think what "within 8 days" may mean accoridng to the Godrej lexicon.

                I hope some form of penalty exist for such behaviour from companies in India.

                  I am from Bangalore. I have a godrej pentacool refrigerator. I bought it 1.5 years ago. There was no problem since last week. Its bulb was fused and the bulb was not available in the local market.
                  I called up customer care and they told me to contact service center. I got the number of Maria's Refrigeration [service center, Bangalore]. I called up them, they told me to launch a complaint. As my wife and me are working and we will not available at home on weekdays, I thought to go there and buy the bulb and fix it myself.
                  Before going to the service center, I had called them twice. When I went there, they gave me larger bulb and told me that I had to change the holder. When I pointed out that, they said there is no stock. Then I asked them, "you could have told me, when I called", they pushed me out of the shop.
                  When I was back at home, I complaint about Maria's Refrigeration service center and nothing happened. I repeatedly called service center and asked for reference number for the particular call. But there reply was there is no reference number. They were hesitated to give me reference number, since I told them that I had planned to go to consumer court.
                  After my repeated calls, someone from Maria's Refrigeration itself had come to my house and changed the bulb and the holder around 7:30 PM. The incident happened on the same day around 11:00 AM. To get the service I had to speak to customer service representative for almost 1.5 hours.
                  Is this the service provided by Godrej? They should realize that, they are running business because of customers like us.

                  I am suresh from hyderabad. I purchased Godrej Pentalcool in 2005. Last thursday 26/03/09 I gave a complaint with Godrej Call center, that my fridge has got some problem and they gave me nearest service center and asked me to contact them and give my complaint #. I did so on the same day. On friday the service ppl came, checked and informed me that the compresser has to be changed and they have collected Rs.2700 which includes (service charges, gas refilling, water wastage box, transportation charges etc) and also said that they will come on saturday and fit them.

                  Today is 02/Apr/09 and till now they have not done come and fit it. I called both call center and service center escalated many many times and the simple answer from them is NO STOCK.

                  I dont know how to handle this situation... still waiting for their response. O my god these ppl are pathetic... This is one of the bad service i have ever seen in my life...

                  It is surprising that Godrej being such a compliant, ethical organization such type of persons are being hired and retained

                  the head of service must look into the quality of persons being hired for the respective jobs
                  Similar Exprience to me with Godrej smart care ! ! .I have made service contract with them for refregerator paying advance fees for the same. As per the contract they have to perform 1 mandatory service by trained technician per year. But after contract (in march 07) no one has visited to us. We called them when defect observed. This is not expected from such a reputed organization. I asked for clarifications, but no Response .

I pay Rs. 500/- for advance booking and also promised by your executives to deliver this Microwave at my door step along with three gifts – Maharaja Whiteline Food Processor, Borosil Kit and Starter Kit, after completion the finance formalities.



                  After that, I have complete all finance formalities on dated 15.10.2009 with Bajaj Finance and deposit the remaining down payment vide receipt no. 7846 at Jain Electronics.



                  At last next day in evening (at 11:00 PM) material got delivered at my door step BUT starter kit NOT PROVIDED, ( which is not provided till date ) and when I open the box of Microwave we were astonished to see another model of Microwave i.e. GMX 25CA1 MIZ, which was not shown at above mentioned exhibition and not booked by us at that time.



                  Now trouble is that we are not interested in this model because Model GMC 25 E 09 MRGX has “Fether Touch” Control Board but Model GMX 25CA1 MIZ is fully Manual Control Board. Sir, I again personally visit at shop, but the dealer (Mr. Omesh Jain, Mobile Number : [protected]) said that this model GMC 25 E 09 MRGX is not available with us and also company has stopped the manufacturing of this model. They given me contact number of your company executive Mr. Hardeep ( Mobile Number : [protected] ), then I contact to Mr. Hardeep but he also washed his hands with same answer.



                  After that your authorized service dealer “New Alfa Electro Services” representative comes to my home for Demo but I ignored for Demo and write comments on their Worksheet for exchange this model. Again second time your service executives came to my home, this time I also request them and write on their worksheet to exchange this model.



                  Sir, I think and also request you that it is too late while I am facing this type of situation. Kindly do needful on your end and sort out my problem.

                    We have the ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT with Godrej for their own washing machine valid till 17/09/2009. Our service no is 184299 & our phone no is 32401271 upon which they register our complaints.

                    Whenever we register a complaint, they take 4 to 5 days or sometimes even a week to solve even a minor problem against their assurance of attending the complaint by 24 hours!

                    Both o[censored]s are physically handicapped, walking with crutches.. Our washing machine has stopped working & our registered complaint is not attended for almost a week.. Moreover, whenever their engineer comes, he finds out some irrelvent fault to A.M.C. & charge us Rs.200 to 400 under different technical excuses.. Would you kindly help us at th earliest?

                    i am a costumer using Godrej washing machine. about two and a half months before, ie no[protected] my washing machine was given for service at GODREJ SMARTCARE in KOLLAM(Kerala). i was informed that my tub had a leak and had to be replaced. the model was GDS650NT and appliance no- 501076.the service card no is J20 dated[protected]. i had been informed that the tub has to brought from Jaipur and it will take maximum '1 month'!!!
                    until now i havnt got my washing machine back and they are giving the same excuse that the tub is not yet arrived. my mother washes clothes herself now and the authorities are still saying that they havnt yet repaired it. my father who is working abroad has told me to inform the authorities that we no longer need your product if it is going to take anylonger. i had spent more than enough calling them each day. if GODREJ works for the common people then please accept my complaint and take necessary steps.

                      Sub:- Complaint of My EON-Matlik Silver Refrigerator

                      Sir,

                      It is bringing to your kind notice that on 30.06.2007, I had purchased a 305 liters EON-Matlik Silver Refrigerator under exchange scheme from Delhi Branch PN, Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. Okhla Showroom, Godrej Bhawan, New Delhi vide CST No.30089D which was delivered to my home on 02.07.2007 since, I purchased this model of refrigerator, I felt that it has some manufacturing defects as from the first day its side walls were heating and within 02 days the lower door handle strip broke down. On 04.07.2007, I brought the matter to notice of Customer Care on Tele. No.[protected]. The engineer who came to my home on my complaint told me that heating of side walls is normal thing in these types of fridge and replaced the lower door strips merely fixing the same on the door handle.

                      But the strip of the same handle had broken again so I complained the matter on 24.08.2007 to customer care vide complaint No.625536. The engineer came & replaced the strip. After replacing the strip, I asked from the engineer about this repeated complaint of broken strip. He told me that it is a manufacturing defect in this model of fridge and we will replace the same till the fridge is under guarantee.

                      On this, to rectify this problem in future, I made number of calls to the customer care and the persons as advised by the customer care, mentioned in the enclosed list of sequence. But despite my repeated requests, the problem is still persisting and nobody has come forward to solve this issue or listen earnestly. Whereas, the strip of lower handle of fridge has been broken 8 to 9 times from the date of purchasing. Though my fridge is under care and the replacement is being done, what will happen after that? It will certainly give me mental agony. Therefore, to rid off this mental agony and to face further loss of my hard money, it would be prudent that either my fridge may be replaced or to refund my money within 3 days from the date of this mail otherwise the circumstances will compete me to go to consumer court for solving this issue.

                      I hope that you will solve this issue within the stipulated period of time in view of my position at this stage and consider my problem being your responsibility.

                      I shall be very thankful to you in anticipation for this act.

                          Dear Sir / Madam,

                          I booked Godrej AC of 1 ton from Vijay Sales on 25th May 2008 and had the delievery of the same on 1st June 2008.

                          It is very unfortunate that we could not have the pleasure of air conditioning from the date of purchase. After installation, Air Conditioner has not worked for a day.

                          Service Engineer (?) sent for installation were very young and might be not trained properly. They hit the unit many times during installation. When I asked them about the same, they informed me that they do it for all installation.

                          We were informed that it might take some time for cooling process. After much patience, when we lodged a complaint, a person on phone promised to replace the unit. Immediately another person yelled at him which we heard on a phone. And the person on phone, changed the promise and asked us to wait for two days. On 14th June, one person visisted our place. He then informed my wife about the gas likage and he had come only for inspection not for service.

                          My friends were urging me not to take Godrej Air Conditioner but due to trust on a GODREJ brand, I opt the one.

                          Do you think, I have done a mistake?

                          When I tried to register a complaint at http://www.esales.godrej.com/galtes/online_service.asp, I recieved a message 'The page cannot be displayed' with 'Open the www.esales.godrej.com home page, and then look for links to the information you want.' When I hit link www.esales.godrej.com, I recieved a message 'You are not authorized to view this page'. Do you think it make sense wasting our time?

                          If problem is not solved immediately, I may have no option but to file a registerd complaint at GRAHAK PANCHAYAT and to put the matter in front of the print media and electronic media. I still have trust on GODREJ brand. Some of your people may not working well but again it is the responsibility of the company to take care of the goodwill.

                          I hope to get immediate replacement of the unit with installation of new unit.

                          I had bought this Godrej Spilt AC on 7-12-08 and since then I had to call the authorized service personnel atleast 6 to 7 times due problems like: (1) Water leaking from the In-door Unit. (2) Weak Capacitor (3) Failure of Godrej branded Stabilizer. The major of these was the water leakage problem which took atleast 4 to 5 of their visits and a major distrubance to my working schedule. It was so embarrasing when people visiting our home would comment-on or notice the leakage. It was hard to answer innumerable questions that they would put like "Why have you gone for a GODERJ AC why not for LG or SAMSUNG as they are better" What would have I said? Its like I was being silently told that "You think that you are too smart for not choosing the brand which usually goes around the society but opt for an entirely different one which is rarely seen, but you and an for doing this" I had gone for the Godrej because I had trusted this brand and for years had been listening to the praises people make about Godrej in terms of Almirahs, Locks and Refrigirators mainly. Even I haven't seen or listened about a Godrej AC prior to this and this is my first Godrej product. But then I trusted the brand believeing the rumors about the "Good Quality" label it has.

                            I am vivek from Kurali about 30 kms away from Chandigarh. We have bought one AC from Satluj Electronic, Sec 35, Chandigarh.. In summer when we start to use it it works as a fan. It cools only for 2 to 5 mins..We logged complaint for the same. After a routine calling for support for 6-7 days in summer technician come and he says that it is problem with AC. He also changes one capacitor. Then it work for 2 hours after that again it starts giving problem. I installed 8Kva Stabilizer also to avoid power issue (AC uses only 2 Kva). After that i log call to satluj electronics showroom by visiting there but still i am waiting for response from last three weeks in summer season. We recommend to you buy Godrej AC only if you are planning to pass your Summer with AC but no cooling

                            Yes I agree- the service of Satluj Enterprises Sector 35 chandigarh is Thrid class.I bough 9 Ac's for my office- all Godrej from Satluj in July 2008. At the time of selling- they had said that scratch cards would give you assured 500 discount and may be more- we were not given any scratch card. They also promised free serviccing of the ACs- till today nobody has come for servicing. Hopeless management by Godrej and Satluj. Please donot buy Gordej or any ACS from Satluj.
                            I purchased a Godrej split Ac1.1 T Model No.GSC 13GA WHH on 1/4/2009 and became (April) Fool.
                            Invoice number 3 dated 1/4/2009 of the dealer Quilon Radio Service Kottayam, Kerala. It has been installed by the technicians from QRS Kottayam.Installation and a Guardian Stabilizer were free as a seasonal offer from the dealer. But the compressor stopped after working for 15 minuts. Dealer QRS Kottayam part of a reputed Kerala Retail chain is refusing to replace the Unit. Instead of replacing the unit they booked a complaint with Godrej and registered as call no.452045 on 4/4/2009. On 6th and 7th April QRS informed me the technicians left their office to my home for servicing the faulty unit. But nobody came to my residence. On 8th two technicians from Godrej service center came to my home and tried to repair the unit .But they failed to correct it. They offered to come on 9th with some spare parts. When I called the service center as no body came they informed that technician is on the way to my house but he did not arrived.
                            During day time Iam the only person in the house and for the past one week Iam waiting for the technicians avoiding my daily works and other activities. Iam in great tension due to loss of my hard earned money and stress due to one weeks work loss and sleeping in the bedroom converted air tight for the installation of Ac.
                            i hv lodged sevrel compalint for serving at toll free nos. but none of persons hv attneded, i should say very very very very very very very bad service of godrej, i should also say they are cheating us, & need to claim for refund of our money, i will never never never never buy any godrej products, they are making fool & think that we are stupid peoples, hence request never never never to buy any godrej productd

                            i think summers will end and in winters only fools use ac for cooling their rooms.
                            i have been calling satlej enterprises for the last two years.and just once this yr they responded and their technician said the filter was not clean and then he went after cleaning.don know wats wrong becoz i am using samsung ac and its been 7 years and i have not faced a single problem with it.please guide me anyone coz i want to get rid of this ac and get my refund and buy an ac which helps me pass my summers coolly.
                            I am from chandigarh and purchased Godreg Air conditioner .75 tonne from Utility Engineers sector 35 Chandigarh.they told me that it cools 100 sq feet area but i have only 72 sq feet area.the installation was very poor, after installation when i turned on AC it was running full day with a temperature of 31 degree.i made several complaints to the dealer and service centre but no conculation was there so i recommend not to buy godreg AC think of other brand

                              i bought a godrej UT200 refrigerator.now it got a problem.its not at all working.i've complained to the customer care at delhi, they gave me a number to call, a service man's name.then i called that number and sad the details they gave to me.to my surprise there was no service man with that name, and they did'nt get a work order even after three days.this is my problem.

So i called godrej customer care n lodged a complaint on[protected].But there is no repsonse from godrej people.I hav celled informed to franchies of godrej also which was given by customer support regarding this matter.one of the technician from godrej franchies visited my house.The complaint number registered with godrej is 718862 .The technican told that there is no mobile van for repair my freege, is godrej is such way they depend on franchies which is not worth, Please take some action regarding this issue

                                I totally agree with the above complaint, Iam from Hyderabad and I lodged a Complaint(service call # 573037) last week its been 10 days now no one has come back. Whenever I call them they say tomorrow or today. I really dont advice any one Godrej A/C. After sales Service is very very very POOR. I just compare my Carrier A/C and Godrej A/C service and I swear there is no comparison between them, I realy dont know whom to call up in Godrej for the customer service so that I my A/C can get repaired at the earliest.
                                Very Bad service by Gdrej people. They don't come in time for installation of your purchased goods. They don't deliver in time. Bad indian Punctuality. I had very bad exp. with Godrej for all the products including Fridge, Refrigirator and Tri bolt lock. Very, Very Bad Service.
                                I had purchased a 12 Godrej AirConditioner in April 2007. But honestly neither of their compressors survived for more than 18 months. When it comes to replacement, they have N No of reasons for the delay in services. Surprisingly I got a similiar feedbacks from the markets regarding the pathetic services of Gidrej Appliances. Wish we can move in a Group to Consumer Forum against Godrej, which would help us out ina better manner.

                                I agree with all of you...Godrej is loosing focus and would be out of competitive customer oriented market. Their service is pathetic take this as negative feedback, though I lived in godrej for more than 27 years of my life.
                                The Godrej people came our home and took the refrigerator after providing a stand by.

                                I have bought an A/C (1.5 tonne) in 2007 July Bill No 2932, this is my second A/C from Godrej, however the A/C had comppressor vibration and noise problem.The problem was so severe that were cracks in the wall due to vibration from the A/C.I had to follow this complaint for nearly 6 months, finally a manager spoke and had the compressor remounted at the workshop, which has left ugly holes in the chassis.

                                Now this year, the A/C had another problem and I called the mechanic and he said that the compressor needs to be replaced, since the compressor is in warranty this will be replaced, but he claims Rs 3000 for service charges.I understand if the A/C got the problem recently, but this A/C was faulty from purchase.

                                Please advise on a way around this as I am entitled to compensation for a lot of things.Godrej does not even update their customer service numbers in the directory.

                                I bought a washing machine code no. gws-7501, Model No. 7006495 on, 26/8/08. from the dealer panchwati co. bhelupur, varanasi. In the span of 10 months the machine has been repaired thrice, the motor has been changed under warranty and the spinning disk is not working properly. On 17/6/08 the machine again fail to work on complain it was told by the engineer that gear box is not working and has to be changed. He promised to change within a day but sorry to say that it still not been replaced.

                                My complain is under warranty can such discrepency take place within a year. That too when my machine is not ru[censored]sed. If this matter is not rectified at the earliest then I shall take up this matter in the consumer court.

                                I had purchased a Godrej split AC 1.5 ton from Great Eastern Trading Co. Kolkata -36 on 05/05/2010. Due to noise problem I lodged a complain on 12/09/2010 [my complain no. is 124388].A technician had ceme on 13th or 14 th and said there was some problem and they will change the blower. Then I have got a sms from Godrej [a no -124690] but i do not know about this. Till todate [07.10.2010] no one can visit to my home for service purpose. Everybody know it is the festive season for Bengalies. I have called them several time [[protected], [protected]] but they said that Mumbai office is not sending the material...etc etc.
                                But I am suffering a lot. I cannot expect this type of after sale service from company like Godrej. It is very pathetic situation of Godrej service centres. Please repair my Ac within 1 or 2 days. After that it will be a long holiday in Kolkata.

                                  2. Thermostate stoped working and lodged complaint.

                                  3. Godrege out sourced staff visited and tried to fix old part. These parts were not packed in Factory Package but he took them out from a box wherein lots of defective items were kept.

                                  4. He was confronted with a questions - Why these items are not new? A spare part has to be packed and sealed in company package; is it correct.

                                  5. The mechanic did not reply satisfactorily. He said "Aap ko kaam karwana hai? New items aise hi aate hain. Aap ka complaint mai cancel kar raha hun. Aap ko mere se kaam karwana hai to poora paisa advance me dena padega. Ho sakata hai ki New items ko aane me time lag jaaye"


                                  I am shocked to see such kind of conduct on the part of service mechanic. It was irritating experience. Such acts need to be controlled with zero error syndrome.

                                    i had bought one godrej refirigetor last month i became facing problems with cooling i cmplaint that to ur dealer Ms baheti electrics(GOVINDAM) he charged a fee for repairing i paid that fee to him he send his mechanic & told me to send the fridge to his place after two days he send me the refrigator . on the very next day the refigator again started cooling problems i complained to the dealer he said give me ur bill & gurantee card & becauz the compresor is in guarantee period a mechanic from company will replace the compresor & now 14 days are over i have recd no call or no mechanic to replace the compressor ur dealer is doing frod in repairing that one . so plz look into this matter & take appropriate action. there is no answr by the dealer he ignores me

                                    I ordered for a Refrigerator (Model:G.F.E.25B2, Capacity:230lit. Color:Sheelwine Red) to your Canvasser who visited my home on 28/09/08 through an application Form (No.1110894). On 28 Sept. the salesman(code:890, Territory-G.K.) collected a chaque of Rs.16949/- for delivering the abovesaid Refrigerator on 30/09/08. Till today inspite of my repeated requests I have not received the most wanted refrigerator. The man concern did not eager to contact with me, but when I called him over phone he always tried to misguide me or conveyed false information. Ihave launched a complain to your recognized service center of West Bengal on 21.07.09. ( Docket No. 658355 ) and though on 23.07.09 one mechanic came but it is still out of order from 15.07.09. And now I fill very insecured by buying the Godrej Product.
                                    I have phoned your S.C. many times but only false comitments are in your reply.However we are very much astonished of about your products / workmanship that how a motor of micro -oven becomes disorder within two three months ( Actiual Run time not more than 5 hour).

                                      I purchased a Godrej Pentacool refrigrator in bangalore. Now i am moved to hyderabad. I found that my refrigrator doesn't cool after power goes off. I called the customer support and engineer came home. Without even checking properly he says that defrost is not working, we need to purchase a new one. I told him that my fridge defrost works properly. However he insist on purchasing AMC from him and says we need to put new defrost panel. When we checked the new we found that panel is not original Godrej panel.
                                      We want godrej to step in and help us fix the refrigrator

                                      GODREJ'S STEP MOTHERLY TREATMENT TO OLD CUSTOMERS

                                      I purchased a godrej cold gold refrigerator 14 years ago when I shifted to a new house.
                                      internally its working well and I have no complaints regarding that; but the external body which is made of iron is crumbling like dry sand.
                                      I wrote many a times to the customer care section and a man from their company came for inspection who assured me of help but after 2-3 days their mind changed and they told me that i should get the whole outer cabinet removed for a new one for Rs. 6000.
                                      Initially the offer was free but within days as they realised that the customer has been using the fridge for 14 years, let us just harass him for the same.
                                      I wrote to them many times subsequently but to no avail.
                                      Now if they are not listening, they should do away with this sham of customer care for GODREJ DOES NOT CARE FOR CUSTOMERS.

                                      I agree Godrej HiCare is not bothered about customer service. I'm here in Bangalore and I took yearly contract for pest control # 07/142440. After taking money for the whole year they disappeared and no response to my phone calls to bangalore office or even mumbai head office.

                                      Try the phone nos given in the form / websites it just rings and no one picks up.

                                      I could never imagine that Godrej brand can do like this.
                                      I bought a four door cabinet from Godrej showrrom on Rajbhavan road, Hyderabad. From the time of delivery the lock of the cabinet is not working. Even after repeated complaints, I am promised that the lock would be repaired but no one comes up to repair it.
                                      Over the years I have seen Godrej quality and service going down. If this is the trend they Godrej intend to follow then very soon they won't be India's top storage provider.
                                      Godrej's products & its employees only torture customers.I won't buy any of its products throughout my lifespan.
                                      I have purchased new Air conditioner of 1 Ton from Ami Enterprices, Sector - 21, Gandhinagar, Gujarat before one week. But till writing this mail I have not received any demonstration for the AC. They just installed the AC and went away becuase electricity work was incomplete. They assured to us that they will back and give the demonstration but they are not able to come for demonstration.

                                      I recently recieved a refrigerator from Okhla branch and the refrigerator was delivered with a defective door.

                                      Inspite of several calls to the customer care and also to the concerned branch I have not recieved any response from your end as of now.

                                      Its been 18 days since the date of delivery and no communication is there from branch side.
                                      This is higly irresponsible at the company's end and needs immediate action.

                                      I purchased a Godrej Pentacool Double Door refrigerator from your authorised dealer Vasanth & Co, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on[protected]. The one year (warranty period) was uneventful. After that within a time span of one and a half years, I had spent nearly Rs.2000/- for its repair works at your authorised service centre, Zenith Agencies. The problem was inadequate cooling.

                                      Recently on 13th June onwards the cooling was very less. I informed the service centre, Zenith Agencies and they transported the machine to their service centre in Coimbatore. According to them, the complaint was for the cabinet and it must be got changed. They gave me an assurance that they would return it in 15 days.

                                      But it had been nearly 20 days without any communication from them. While contacting the concerned person of service station here in Chennai over phone on 08-07-08, he replied that the cabinet was not available, so he was helpless. I never had such a bitter experience before.

                                      Godrej — Fraud in renewal of AMC

                                      A Godrej Refrigerator (FF- 410 Ltr) was purchased on 13.01.04. The same was always covered by AMC. The AMC was due to expire on the 24th May' 08 & the same was renewed as on 9th April' 08 itself by paying an amt of Rs 2, 667 (vide Application No: 1078830) to Salesman: Ganesh2690.

                                      However Mr Ganesh has not submitted the same amount with the Company immediately but only on 8th May'08. Mr Ganesh has replaced the Original Application Form by Application No:1078246 on which the signatures have also been forged . He has renewed the AMC for a 260 Ltr refrigerator as against our 410 Ltr refrigerator.

                                      We have received the Contract No: [protected] which is valid from 26.05.08 to 25.05.11. However now the Company is refusing to accept the validity of our AMC & even refusing to provide the services (as per the AMC) for repairing the Refrigerator which is not working since a week.

                                      The facts of the case has been brought to the notice of the above mentioned employees.
                                      I ordered Sleek wadrope with 2 weeks delivery schedule, vide receipt no.43270 Bill No.56703 with full payment against debit card at Pune Godrej outlet . I enquired after 12 days, the status of delivery on Phone number :[protected] /7 as the product was to be arriving from Mumbai. I had specifically instructed time and again that I will take delivery only during the week ends i.e Saturday evening or Sunday Morning. To my surprise the same evening of 9/9/2008 at 6pm, I get the tempo reaching delivery address and offloading the material in front of closed door. Is this the way to service the customer with signature obtained from the Society Security watchman ? Is this the Professional way of handling Orders?

                                      I have a window airconditioner from Godrej bought on 4th oct 2006. I bought it because at that time i trusted your product and brand. But after using it I have realised that Godrej is the worst company and it's products are worthless.                                       As you can see above, how brilliant your service is, that I need to call your service center every month. And the last complaint, has still not been rectified. Everytime there is a huge bill, and the problem always remains. Complaints 2), 3), 4) and 5) are for the same problem. Fan Motor failure. The remedy I get from your illiterate engineer is that I need to keep the A/c running for atleast 10 mins everyday. I went out of station for 02 days and then when I come back and switch on the A/C, it doest work again. In my opinion, if the a/c would have got rectified on the first complaint, then it wouldnt have completely shut down, as told to me by your engineer. So your people escalated my small problem, till it completely went bust, so that you can bill big amounts from me.

                                      I shall not waste your and my time anymore. If your company has any shame then, kindly repair my airconditioner.

                                      I am sriram from chennai, recently (5 months back) i purchased a godrej 1.5 ton split AC from chennai. It worked for only 10 days and no cooling after that. I complained about it on 21st Jan’2009 also and complain was logged and SMS sent to me confirming the logging of complaint but no satisfactory response was given to me. I then made a written complaint on 23rd April'2009 and the service people came and they took my remote by saying that panel is not in sync with the remote and promised to come back by end of April but till today no body has turned up. I then sent a legal notice both the shop as well as Godrej Company but they turned blind eye to it to.

                                      I am left with the last option of filing my complaint in the consumer forum.

                                      I have already submit a request of failure of the compressor of my refrigerator on 1st July 2009 of complain number 910478. The technician has come the next day and check and return back by saying, he will get the new compressor tomorrow and gas charges has been born by me. After that after several reminder nobody is responding the same from the company till date.
                                      I had purhased 210 ltrs. pentacool refrigerator in year 2005. It has a problem of water leakage since day 1 (water spills all over the floor after defrost. Your service enginee had come to repair but he could not. After completion of one year warranty period, I have paid 1150.00 for four years extended warrany repair. When i called up for service they again charged 225.00 as I had changed my home to nearby address. You representative told me that service engineer will be coming for regular checks but never this happened. In fact even they do not respond to complaints.

                                      My comlaint of water leakage is still unattended.

                                      It has a month and a half i have been calling Godrej Hicare Ltd customer service department, asking them to please provide me a reciept of the payment (amounting Rs. 2700/-) for the Pest control done at my house in Virar. I provided them with a check and the Check seems to be cleared from my dads account on 26th June 2009, but i havent recieved the reciept for the payment. I have calling them almost daily and every time they promise me that i will be given a call and the receipt shall reach at the earliest in a couple of days. but neither the call nor the receipt reaches me.

                                      I am really very frustrated with the kind of response i am getting from the customer service department and the service department. Please someone look into this matter...

                                      Godrej — Non-Receipt of Mixer & Gift as per purchase offer

                                      I had purchased a Godrej EON Refrigerator 342L, GFE 36 DZ, shell wine red colour from Aakruti-Telly located at Ghatkopar (E) vide its bill no.248 dt.03/07/09.



                                      The purchase offer included a mixer and a gift along with it as complimentary products. Today it is around 2.5 months passed since the purchase, but I have not yet received the offered complimentary products. I have been following-up with Mr. Bharatbhai at Aakruti-Telly for the same since last 2 months. Initially I was told that the complimentary products would be delivered within a week of purchase. Since then every week on my follow-up, I am being told that it will reach my home within 2-3 days. It has been a standard answer whenever I follow-up for the same. I am being told that the Company itself does not have the products available with it. There is some sourcing/manufacturing problem and hence the complimentary products are not being delivered on time.



                                      Secondly for your kind information, please note that when the refrigerator arrived on 03/07/09, the timer was also missing and Godrej smartcare had to attend and do the needful on 04/07/09 itself.

                                      Godrej — HORRIBLE SERVICE GODREJ

                                      I own Godrej Fully Automatic washing machine with the following specification:
                                      Godrej , 5.5 litres, 4 kg gray colour in fully operation al condition with AMC (vide number 673227, dated:[protected] till January 2010.

                                      The authorized service centre at M/s Nanak Services, at Plot No. 68, sector 8, Bad Dola Village , Dwarka had taken this machine saying a part need to repaired and has to be taken to service centre on 19 September 2009 by an employee Mr. Saini, with phone number [protected], committing for delivery within a period of 2 days. The filling number 236182 was issued to us.

                                      Till date there has been no response to our complaint and neither has the machine been returned back to us. We have called them repeated times almost daily to Mr. Saini at the number mentioned but to no avail. On top of it, this employee has been over abusive and very rude to our requests on delivery of the machine. I am a reputed retired official from the Government Home Ministry from a very reputed post, hence always have been very cordial and requested timely delivery of machine back. But it has every time been a talk suggestive of malign intention with an excuse everytime. Many a times the phone was not picked up. We have complained to the customer service at [protected] but every time it has been the same too and no action has been taken thereon. On asking for the conversation reference number, there has been no adequate reply from them, recent example being the talk from Mr. Jitender at 20:20 hours on 24/10/2009.

                                      Over the past one month, there has been a gross problem in home affairs due to non availability of the washing machine. Had the company informed us that it may talk as long a period as 40 days, we would have bought a new machine, BUT off course NEVER ever a godrej product ever now. And with the way the employees of the service centre have been talking, there is no surety of me receiving the machine in proper working condition.

                                      Godrej & Boyce , we believed have been an Indian company with a status of being one of the top electronic company, but to my astonishment , it has proved exactly opposite to one of its very loyal customer, as we have been buying washing machines , refrigerators and other electrical equipments. But due to such embarrassing harassment by the service centre employees and customer service USELESS complaints, I am forced to take this matter to the RTI and senior management of Godrej, hoping that those would not be as ruthless as their employees have been.

                                      If the company has some moral responsibility towards it customers, loyal customer, the management would do consider my request on a serious note rather than ignoring it as other irresponsible employees have been. I wonder and can imagine the fate of companies due to such acts, would rather prefer to shift to other companies.

                                      I need a written answer to my pain and embarrassment, repeated times over the last month, from the senior management of the company along with my fully repaired machine, else I would be forced to move the consumer court in this regards.

                                      Refrigerator, Model-300, Sl No. 11847 was purchased from M/s Krishna Electronics, Panipat on 06/06/2006 as per Bill No. 1501. Sudden sound is also observed inside the freeze due to some internal problem. The repair activities were performed as per following details.

                                      1) Gas filling of compressor was done on 20/04/2009 and ice formation was observed on the backside pipe on 21/04/2009. Excess gas was also removed from compressor after cutting tube. It was informed that ice formation will be stopped after setting the gas inside the compressor. Soft & shallow ice formation was noticed inside the freezer. Amarjeet Centre, Panipat was contacted through phone & smartcare but nobody reported to check the problem.
                                      2) On 10th July’ 09, problem of freeze was checked by Mr. Rahi & Rajesh during their camp at IOCL Refinery Township, Panipat and suggested that gas filling was done without removal of chokage problem.

                                      Above problem may kindly be rectified so that freeze should operate safely.

                                      Keeping in mind the creditability of your organization, I purchased your refrigerator ( 280 Ltrs) under exchange offer vide Invoice No. 641/93035691 dated 11.11.09 ( Customer Code 30089F ).Though the delivery date was given as 08.11.09 at the time of booking but it was delivered only on 12.11.09 without any Demo & getting it checked at my residence. I also not insisted the same at that time keeping in view the goodwill of your company & with the thought that before dispatching, it has already been checked at your works.

                                      I purchased a storewell from Godrej & boyce’s showroom, Godrej lifespace store, No. 80/81, Prakasam Salai, broadway, Chennai-600108. Order No. 68986 dt.[protected] and Invoice No. 841/24062753 dt.[protected]. Cost of storewell Rs. 19046 and delivery charge Rs. 1400/-. During the time of purchase the store room personals told that even a small scratches found a new storewell will be replaced immediately finally it was door delivered on 16.11.09. It was found that the storewell was supplied with damaged doors and scratches, at the time of delivery I was out of station. Next day I contacted the show room personal he told me that a service person will inspect and according to his report action will be taken but there was no body visited. I contacted helpline Chennai office and a complaint was registered to rectify the defects vide my complaint No. 364942 dt 19.11.2009 and next day a service man called from Chennai to my home that since our place is out of city so we have to pay for him to attend to visit. It was informed to service centre since the delivery carried out by you we could not pay. So far no service engineer visited my house to carry out the repair or replacement of the cupboard in spite of my phone calls made by me from[protected] to till date[protected]. Since the complaint is not attended for a long time. Godrej helpline people advised me to contact Mr. Gopu/Mohan, GM, Service, Chennai but nobody is lifting their phone. I am unable to use the cupboard and I have no other alternative except to take up the matter with the consumer court.

Just after one month of purchase got repairs with wasing machine on November 26th I have lodged complain with customer care and they informed issued will fixed by night 8.00 pm.
                                      Unfortunately that day or night is not coming where they can fix the problem it is more than 10 days. No one is responsibel and taking owner ship to fix the issue. complaint number 624510.

                                      on 25/12/09 a service center of cool air international - boring road patna, came to replace the mortar . the mortar was not as per the model of GWC 18GA WHA, during opening the machine hinch was damaged and he returned back with the mortar informing Mr devashis and Mr paul

                                      the complain of 24/10/09 has been not attended till date it is very disgusting that a company of such reputation could not attend the complain

                                      Godrej — No response/ Frauding for delivery of Gift with Washing Machine

                                      Hi,

                                      I have purchased and Fully automatic washing machine from Godrej which had an offer of free Gift of Mixer with it. The machine was delivered in Nov'09 but without the gift. Even after the repeated calls/reminders to the dealer(Mr. Bhandari of Vikhroli branch and Mr. Kailash Contact number: [protected]) there is no response from either persons. They promised to deliver the gift @ home and take away the cost of the same as the gift amount was deducted from the final bill.

                                      I have been fed up of calling this guys again and again from Nov'09 till date but the are not reply to my any calls. This is the extreme case of Frauding to the customer by not delivering the gift that was supposed to be given to the customer.

                                      I request to take some strict action against such kind of people.

                                      I had purchased a Godrej automatic washing machine in February 2009. Since December 2009 it has been malfunctioning and Godrej does not give a damn! They are very good at advertising their products and getting brand ambassadors to do the same, but they are the worst Company where electronics are concerned. I would NEVER EVER RECOMMEND anybody to go in for any Godrej products. The after sales service is as bad as ever, the engineers that are sent to your home are no good and I seriously think that the big wigs of Godrej should sit up and take cognizance of the umpteen complaints that are on this site. At Godrej's request, my machine was taken to their workshop AT MY COST and returned with the same defect after a few days. We have never faced this type of difficulty with our Samsung washing machine and we are very sorry that we exchanged our Samsung machine for a Godrej. We will never make the same mistake again.
                                      I purchased Microwave oven 30 ltr.capacity (GMC 32A) from Great Eastern Trading Co., Barrackpore, West Bengal on[protected]. At the time of purchase I told them this machine would be brought to my job place, Assam. It was running well since I purchased. Last week It got out of order. It is not Heating. I called your customer care for repair since it is within the guarantee period. Accordingly they contacted your Guwahati office. Guwahati office also contacted to your authorized service center at Nagaon (Name - Dibakar Cooling Centre). I got a phone call from Dibakar Cooling Center to bring the machine to their Service center. Accordingly I carried the machine to their service center. During the examination they found that there was no serial number mentioned in the machine's back portion and they refuged to service. As per their advice I contacted Great Eastern Trading Co. but They did not give me proper solution though assured me they would call back. No call has yet come even not responding my phone call.

                                      Please find attached herewith the scanned copy of Cash memo, Guarantee card and visiting card of Dibakar Cooling Center for your reference.

                                      Godrej — SERVICE ENGINEER DID NOT PROVIDED THE BILL

                                      I had made a complaint on 09.03.2010 regarding non cooling of my refrigerator to Godrej Customer Care. Next Day Service Engineer Visited my place and solved the problem. He changed the part in the refrigerator and charged from me Rs.1040/-. (Part charges 790 + Visit charges 250) which I have given in cash.

                                      He had only written only on the paper the amount and three months warrnty
                                      When I requested for the bill he said he will provide the bill from the company next day. I have also made several calls to customer care and mailed also but they say we do not provide seprate bill for this amount.

                                      I ve purchased a godrej main door lock from a dealer & I ve been told dat for installation, I need to contact godrej customer care.
                                      It was my worst ever communication with godrej which was never expected from such a reputed company. I purchased the door lock one month back & still waiting for installation. Mnay times ve contacted dem and never got a proper responce. Mnay a time, De try to escape from the issue by not responding. The technical team has government policy since their working time is from 10-5. For installation, I ve to take a leave and keep begging dem to come. If de come, u r lucky and if not, again u need to wait for dem, this is wat the seen...Frankly telling, I clearly suggest everybody dat think thrise bofore getting any godrej product.

                                      I bought Godrej Split A.C on 23.04.2010 and its not working from 07.05.2010, Godrej customer care response was outside temperature was high so A.C will not give cooling.                                       Godrej — Chair not repaired

                                      I bought a chair from Godrej which never worked upto my expectations. When i found that the hydraulic mechanism of the chair is not working , i requested for a repair. After 1 and a half month the part was replaced and i found that the chairs height is not adjusted properly.

                                      If i sit on the chair in the minimum height configuration , i am still not able to touch my feet on the floor. I am not a short guy (5'8") and hence this should not be the case.

                                      I hope somebody brings it to the notice of a bad company which is known by the name Godrej.

                                        I had bought 1 (one) “Slimline with locker” on 1st February 2008 (Friday) from Godrej and Boyce Mfg Co. Ltd. Retailing Division, Godrej Lifespace Store, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 091.

                                        • The Order No. is 13354. The amount of Rs. 10036/= was paid in full on the same day (1st February 2008) – Receipt No. 11781/Date 1/2/08 to Debosruti Ray – Assistant Manager, Retailing Division (Salesman Code: 53234).

                                        • The Delivery was made on 9th February 2008 (Saturday) via Invoice No. 801/24061088. The Sales Order No. is 926208.

                                        • However the Slimline had issues in door alignment as it was not getting closed properly. The same was written on the “Challan Cum Invoice”. I had also talked to Mr. Sankar Bhattacharjee (Mobile[protected] on the same day as the delivery boy had pointed out him to be the contact person. He assured a technician would be sent by Tuesday 12th February.

                                        • After repeated phone calls to the Salt lake office (Ph.[protected] no one was sent to repair the same till Wednesday 13th February.

                                        • On Wednesday 13th February 2008, I got a complain number from one sales person (over phone) (66334 Dated 13th February 2008)

                                        • Again after repeated phone calls, one technician visited my place on 15th February 2008 (2 days after the complaint), though the priority was set to be “Within 1 Day”. He was not able to repair the same and I contacted the Retailing Division (Ph.[protected] reporting the same. Debosruti Ray assured to send a senior technician once the Service card is submitted by the Technician.

                                        • On Saturday 16th February, I talked to the same sales person at 12 noon; however I learnt that the card was not submitted till that time (1 full working day) and I was assured that once it is submitted by the Technician, I would be intimated over phone. I am yet to get that call.

                                        • I contacted the Customer Support Number[protected] to know the status of my complaint. In turn I was given another number[protected] to contact Mr. Rajiv on Monday.

                                        It has been 2 (two) weeks since I paid up in full but I am yet to get a fully functional Slimline.

                                        I am really surprised to find this pathetic service condition of Godrej and Boyce Mfg Co. Ltd. Retailing Division and would like a speedy closure of the same.

                                        I had ordered one 215 Godrej Slimline locker on 25November2008 vide ch no. A000631with payment for Rs10059 only. But till date I have not been supplied the product. I have liased personally several times to supplier but no action has been taken.

                                        The godrej stremline should have a proper alignment from bottom.Please use paper packings at bottom (under the legs of Stemline)to adjustment to have correct alignment. First close both the doors of stremline. Then use packings for correct alignment.
                                        I had purchased this product Godrej Slimline last year May 2011 for 13600 Rs. The reason I choose godrej brand is its good locking and security system. But now I realized that its the most worst locking system. The lock came out off the handle with key. How come It came out so easily like that, a thief can easily open that lock right.

                                        When I call the customer care they said its out of warrenty so I need to pay 250 Rs for service charge and 350 Rs for lock cost so I need to get ready with total 600 Rs. I said I don't want that vulnerable lock for 600 Rs and besides I need proper explanation for that faulty lock. They are not bothering about the lock how it came out. What is the use of that faulty lock buying again for 600 Rs. They said I am handling the lock roughly what a worst reason. Are they going to say to every thief to handle the godrej keys smoothly???
