Godrej washing machine — Washing Machine not working

Service person is money minded, PCB change is the solution for every simple problem

Godrej — Washing Machine Malfunctioning

Sir,
I bought a Godrej make semiautomatic machine from AB Electronics, Mohan Singh Market, R.K Puram Sector-1, New Delhi on 11-Oct-09. Since very first use the machine is making a audible noise, on complaint the dealer said he has forwarded the case to company and send his engineer for inspection, on inspection the engineer told me that there is a problem with the gear system of machine and hence the whole unit needs to be replaced. On the next day the company engineer after getting report from dealer engineer said that they will change only faulty part(Gear System) and that too within next 2 days, Now my question to the company and their dealer is if i had paid whole for a brand new machine why should i get a repaired machine which is malfunctioning since i removed its packing cartons. Secondly its almost 2 weeks since i lodged the complaint and till now nothing has happened.
Dealer and the company are not cooperating and its only the customers who are at the receiving end.

Godrej washing machine — Washing machine in the dryer of machine is not working

I have bought Godrej washing machine n the drier of machine is not working. Every time I complaint the Technician comes and addresses the problem. Next time it is the same story.
I have complain three time to customer care n the engineer visited twice both time he said I’ll come tomorrow with new motor.
But still I’m waiting for him when I’m calling him (Shakir [protected]) he is saying register compliant again. I’m totally fed up with this washing machine n I request you to pls help me for same or last way is left Consumer court.

we bought a fully Automatic washing machine and since then we are facing lot of problems with our washing machine.

we called up the customer care person, they came and within 6 months almost all the parts have been replaced in th machine, still the problem exists. the dryer is not working. everytime we put clothes in the machine, it just washes and rinse the clothes, but never dries the clothes.

Customer care people too dont have much knowledge on this and the problem exists.

is there a way to exchnage the washing machine, i dont want to continuew ith godrej washing machine, its quality and functioning is too low compared to other washing machine.

My washing machine's washing box water is going in dryer and I unable to stop it. So we cant get both work together, washin and drying.
so kindly send some body to correct it.

    I purchased a semi automatic washing machine model GDS 950 of Godrej on 17.8.2010 and since very beginning it is not working properly and has some manufacturing defect. I made a complaint on 24.8.2010 in this regard. But to the deaf ears of the company it made no difference. No one from the company attended my complaint and I feel cheated. Godrej people (on phone) talk softly but work hardly.

    Godrej washing machine — Quality

    I have recently purchased two products from Godrej. 1) Micro Oven; 2) Automatic washing machine. Both of them failed miserably within two days from installations. Washing machine calls for replacement.

    I want to know why Godrej had failed to detect the fault at the final stage of testing. If two products procured from two locations on different points in the time space fail, then there is serious issue.

    I request others to share their views in this regards...

    Godrej washing machine — After selling services

    I had give a Complaint of Washing Machine not spinning Properly on 02/03/2009 to Local Shop Radhika Shopee at Pimpri, Pune -17, Maharshtra. Many times follow up & communicate on telephone, they had not given satisfactory answers & disconnect the line. I am asking for Service centre No. they had give Tel. No. 24570365 . I face the same problem from Service Centre. They have not control on their repairman. In Shot " TOTAL BAD SERVICES".
    I purchased GODREJ WM:GDS950 WASHING MACHING FROM ARVEE SALES AGENCIES II-J-15 CENTRAL MARKET LAJPAT NAGAR NEW DELHI VIDE INVOICE NO.K940 DATED 31.8.09.

    AFTER 6 MONTH of purchase THE TIMER OF THE MACHINE BECAME OUT OF ORDER AS A RESULT WASH TUB IS MOVING IN ONE DIRECTION CONTINUOUSLY WITHOUT MOVING REVERSE.

    I LODGED A COMPLAINT TWICE VIDE COMPLAINT NO.289293 AND 111804 DT. 11.3.09, THE COMPLAINT IS ATTENDED ON 13.3.09 WITHOUT DOING ANY THING EXCEPT SAYING THAT TIMER IS TO BE REPLACED NEXT TIME.

    THEREFORE SINCE 13.3.09 NIETHER ANYBOADY IS HEEDING TO THE PENDING COMPLAINT NOR ANY INTIMATION IS RECEIVED FROM GODREJ.

    THIS IS A VERY NEGLIGENT SERVICE BY GODREJ WHO REALISED ME THAT I SHOULD NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCT FROM GODREJ IN FUTURE.

    Godrej — Defective Washing Machine and poor after sales service

    Seeking an immediate redressal of our problem of malfunctioning of front loaded fully automatic washing machine (Model No - 7501) purchsed from Divya Electronic, Mayur Vihar Phase-1, on 11th Jan 2009, vide Invoice No - 1645. After telephonoc complaints lodged by me on 11th April'2009 (Ref No - 892163), Godrej Customer Care, sms dt. 11/04/2009, service person Mr. Sohan Singh visited on 15 Apr and advised for replacement of motor. No further response is forthcoming till date. Repeated inquiries/ request to HO, Godrej has elicited no response except repeated assurances that the machine will be repaired on the avaialability of new machinery parts/motor. The inconnvenience caused to a working person like me by this indifferent attitude cannot be fully expressed. This formal complaint is now being made with an expressed request that the machine should be repaired without further delay or may be replaced by another fully functional washing machine.
    A speedy redressal is looked forward to this complaint

    godrej/wahing machine — defective product and poor service

    I ms sakina from mumbai, had bought wahing machine in april 2007, model nr GDA 902.within 15 days, machine had started giving me problems, since it was warrenty period their mechanic came and repair it free, after that 3 times in warrenty period only one part that is belt which lets the machine spin and gets the clothes dried got damaged, this was in november 2008, april 2009 and june 2009.for june 2009 they charged me Rs.500 as warrenty period was finished.as soon as my machine got repaired, very next day another problem arrised of water contineously flowing even when machine is off, when i am calling them they are charging me money and pressurising me to do a contract of some 2800 rs for 2 yrs.i spoke to senior person also in godrej, MR.PARMAR AND MR.VINAY MASKE.BUT no solution i ve till far received.I am very much dissatisfied with the service and will NEVER EVER recommend anybody to buy godrej products.I ma shocked and surprised that instead of repairing my machine they want me to sign a contract of RS 2800 for 2 yrs.why?????????????/

But to my surprise till date company has not bothered to send its technician/executive to repair/replace this machine. I contacted customer care executives of the company telephonically several times but nothing turned goood. Company has just one motto to earn the money by selling its defective products. After sale service of the company are just in words and not in deeds.

    I(Mr.B.C.Sahu) bought a Semi automatic Godrej washing Machine on 01.11.2010. The inlet pipe for that machine is leaking. We want to purchase one but unable. When asked to service center in phone they want to add service charges even though I do not require services. I insisted that I want only the parts they say it is not available that way. Does it mean that any time you buy a GODREJ item you are bound to give service charges whether require or not? ALL THESE TERMS MUST BE REFLECTED IN BOLD ON THE BOOKLET AS WELL AS ON THE PACKAGES. Please remember we go for all these homeland brand only reason so as avail spare parts easily and conveniently.IF SUCH SITUATION ARISES WE WOULD NOT SUGGEST ANYBODY TO BUY LOCAL BRANDS.
    I have Godrej Eon 7 kgs fully automatic washing machine.Poor quality, poor service.

      we had bought Godrej refrigrator directly from the company salesman on 19th Jul 2010. Salesman name is Shailendra. he had promised for free gifts with purchase of refrigrator. till date even after repetitive calls this person never turns up n now he has stopped taking calls as well. We are one of the regular customers of Godrej and have trust in the brand.

      This is creating such a bad impression about the company employees ethics & assurance given to customers.

      Not only he hasnt deliver the gifts but also he has taken extra money from us on buying the washing machine. its pathetic to know that company which is a trusted brand by millions in country has such kind of people in sales who cheat on with customers.

      Will really appreciate if company takes some action agaisnt these peoples.

        We had ordered for Godrej Modular Kitchen somewhere in the mid of Jan 2010 and was informed that the material would be received for installation with in 2 months max.
        However I am very sorry to state that till date i.e Sep 2010 my kitchen is not fully installed.
        It is highly unacceptable to note that none of the representative has bothered to give a call, post July 2010.
        Its been 2 months and the defective piece installed is yet to be replaced.
        Though we are holding back some part of payment, However this is such a sorry state. They have refined the meaning of Customer service....

          I purchased one 'Godrej EvvaPentabolt' lock on 19/01/2012 from M/S Balubhai & Brothers, Kolkata and was assured that the lock would be installed in the next 24 hrs. I was given a docket no.HOW121234 dt.19/01/2012 and asked to contact Service Centre [protected] in case of need. For the past few days I have been ringing the Service Centre and nothing has materialized. All that I have been given is a pious hope the the job would be done. I am amazed that the services of Godrej can be so pathetic!

            Iam Selvakumar,residing at no.11,Jagannathan 1st street,Arcot,Vellore District-Tamilnadu,lodged a complaint in local service centre-Vellore on my recently bought(August 2009) Godrej washing machine.The service person came on the same day and took the whole display unit with him,saying that he will get back to me in a week time.But unfortunately they were unable to give me a valid date of service.

              i have bought a godrej fully autometic machine and for demo the reuest raised on 30/08/2010 by vijay sales from where i took that machine and there customer service ensure that within 2 days godrej service engineer will visit ur home for demo the machine but till 2/09/2010 no service engineer visited my home and when i made a call to godrej service centre they replied that they have raised a call again for demo and it will again take two days.
              So according to me godrej dn'T have any customer service.

                Hi, I am Jatin Maheshwari, booked a complaint with Godrej Interio (After Sales Service Department) regarding the re-assembling of my double bed on 28th Aug 2010. The complaint No is 529614.

                As per your company policy, the technician will address the complaint within 48 hrs. However, my complaint has not been addressed till yet although I have already called your Customer Care 10 times. This is highly unprofessional and irresponsible behavior shown by their “After Sale Service” department.

                  Hi, This is regarding a Refridgerator i purchased by Godrej. In my locality, i found a canopy for exchanging old fridge with new, so got the details for the same from one of the represtative. After few days the representative called regarding the same and forced to get the fridge exchanged. He gave all the calculations about the money which is adjusting and whatever is the balance. He told that at the time of delivery, we have to pay Rs.5286/-, but on the day of delivery got a call from the representative that the balance amount is Rs.6286/-. So decided not to purchase the fridge and asked for the refund of Rs. 1000/-, which we paid in advance. So we were told that it has to be done by Mumbai Site and will take approximately One month. So thought to purchase the fridge as we were not convinced one month refund policy. On Monday, August 16th, 2010 the Godrej Labour has delivered a Godrej Neo (173Ltrs) and told that a Technician will come for Demo. We were waiting for the Technician but nobody came. So because of curosity opened the pack and found a defected fridge. So called on of the represtatives and was told that technician will come and check the fridge and then only can do anythng. But I am not happy with the product i got and wanted to get it replaced with a New Fridge. Or Else give me a refund of the amount i paid i.e. Rs. 8286/- plus the resolution of the old fridge i gave to Godrej.
                  My Father was an Employee of Godrej and we trust Godrej, but if this is the service how can we trust a brand name company, where my father worked. We have an old fridge from Godrej, which we purchased when my father was working in Godrej 15 years back which is in a very good condition.

                    I purchaged a 6.5 Kgs Godrej Washing machine from M/S HIM ELECTRONIC VPO & Tehsil Nirmand District Kullu (Himachal Pradesh)-Pin code No-172023 on January 2010. Its fan belt discards from its position during start the machine.I have lodged the complaint in godrej customer care centre for the same.The complaint was attended by the Godrej Engineer and declared that the fan belt is loose which required to be replaced due to non availability of the new belt the complaint attended again after one month with new belt provided by the godrej same engineer and after replacement the problem is as it is. therefore it is requested that the Engineer/ Mechanic may be deputed again to early restoration please.

                      Thanks all of them to share these good things that Even branded company making fool to our customer nowadays. I will never purchase anything from Godrej Co.

                        I had booked a modular kitchen unit with a godrej-interio dealer'Lorven Enterprises',sector-8, m.v.p.colony ,viashapatnam on 23-03-10 with 100%
                        advance payment.[Rs 1,09,971/-].The dealer promised me that he will complete the installation by may 1wk.It went on upto the end of june.How ever
                        it's incomplete without the door for the gas unit.Ihave made several calls to him,but invain. I feel cheated & frustrated. The callousness towards cosumer
                        is quite humiliating.I don't advise anyone to buy godrej product from this dealer.

                          Dear Yogesh

                          Thank for your positive approach to my problem which no one in your company, namely Mr Golwala and Shamim (although he did try) did anything about.

                          The details of my problem are as under:

                          1. In early June, I called up Shamim to complain about my study table, which I had bought vide invoice number 75I/21074246 dt 15/6/2009. The product is study table and the desk does not open.
                          2. Shamim gave me the call center number to lodge my complaint.
                          3. I called up call center and was told that complaint is lodged but because of system problem complaint number cannot be generated and I would get the complaint number thru SMS. Also the mechanic would visit. Neither did I get the SMS nor did the mechanic visit.
                          4. Repeated follow ups - Shamim gave me his Service Head - Mr Golwala's number.
                          5. I was advised to lodge a fresh complaint, which I did with complaint number 350933 on July 19.
                          6. Mechanic visited and took invoice copy saying that he would get back and that invoice copy was needed for allowing repair in warranty.
                          7. No one got back and I called up Mr Golwal who was rude and said that warranty was for 3 months only. Salesman said 1 year, call center person said 1 year warranty and also visiting mechanic said 1 year warranty. But Mr Golwal said 3 month. Exasparated, I said do what ever you can but repair my table as my daughter was unable to study properly.
                          8. All the while I was made to understand that Mr Golwala was Customer Service head of the organisation and I was wondering how could Service Head of Godrej be so rude.
                          9. repeated SMS to both Mr Golwala and Shamim went un responded ( I still retain in my mobile phone)
                          10. Finally I visited the Vikhroli showroom, from where I had purchased and was told that Mr Golwal is not service head of Godrej but is a Service executive !!!!!
                          11. I was put on to Mr Yogesh, who was the first genuine service person to attend to me. He had the courtesy to call me back at the promised time.
                          12. I was told that I would be charged approx Rs 1000 but if I Explained my case, it could be done FOC.
                          13. My intention is not to get FOC if my product was genuinely out of warranty in early June - when i first complained. But I definitely want damages of harassment to me and hardship to my daughter who has not been able to study properly for over 2 months now.
                          14. I also want to see how sincere Godrej is towards its customers.

                          PS - I have already turned back 3 prospective customers of yours in our building who asked about Godrej and when I narrated my experience, they decided to remain away from Godrej. Also I have 3 Godrej products in my house - and after this experience - it will not exceed 3.

                          Godrej — repeated SMS

                          I lodged a complaint of 25 Nos of repeated promotional SMS from DM-Godrej to day and has been given a reference as F[protected]. After lodging the complaint, I have recd another 10 SMS of same wordings.


                          Airtel customer care dept assured me to settle this within 7 days but that is a long time since messages continue to pour in even while writing this.

                          Save me from this nuisance immediately.

                            I bought a Godrej A/C in Oct 2009 at Jayam & Co Anna Nagar, there should be 3 free services. But I have shifted my home to porur and still 2 services are pending. No one from Jayam & Co or Godrej are ready to come. I didnt exect this kind of poor service from godrej and jayam & co. If we shift our house, are we not eligible for free service.

                                my remote of window ac purchased in the last week of may suddenly stopped working. i complained on 28th june about the same on the helpline. the technician came after 3 days. he took the remote saying that it has to b replaced and he will be back after 3-4 days with a new one. it has been a month since then.we get no answers even on calling up again and again. is this how a reputed company like godrej behaves?does it take so long to replace a remote? we are disgusted with this attitude. and now we may have to think hundred times before we buy any godrej product.

                                  I own a single Godrej Refrigerator for the past 20 years and had taken an AMC contract of 3 years from Godrej on paying a charge of Rs.3000/- . Sometime back I found to face some problem with the door of the refrigerator and lodged a complaint with Godrej. One of their technicians had visited our place and informed us that the door would be repaired in a week and we would be charged an additional amount of Rs.185/- for the same. We paid the amount by Account Payee Cheque. After a week, when we contacted the technician, we were said that some part was not being found and it would take another one week. We again called up after a week and were told to get the door repaired from the market as they cannot do the same.

                                    My 3rd A/C malfunctioned and since I am an Engineer could locate the fault with the motor
                                    I lodged a complaint with Godrej on 17th July citing motor replacement
                                    After lot of calls I was promised that service Engineer shall visit for repair by 22nd
                                    when no one arrived I called and I was told people have gone on training and would be delayed for a couple of days
                                    finally couple of fellows arrived, knowing fully well motor needs replacement they went back
                                    They confirmed me to be back with a new motor by 27th
                                    however when they did not arrive I called back and was told till date the new motor has not yet been procured, as per the service engineer he said he was away for last 3-4 days
                                    I do not understand how to deal with these people as they give false commitments with lot of harassment for consumers
                                    My service complaint code is 142245. I have talked to sanjay no [protected] and toll free [protected] however they all are giving me false promises and assurances

                                    Godrej has chosen hopeless franchisees for servicing, in the name of cost-cutting

                                      My parents have been a loyal Godrej customer. While they were wanting to buy the washing machine they opted for GWF 650 FC (6.5 Kg) washing machine as they trust quality and the company.
                                      The machine was purchased on the October 26, 2009. It has not even been a year however the touch operating panel (digital display) has stopped working. The service centre had sent someone to replace it however even that one does not work. The whole purpose of have a fully automatic machine is defeated!!

                                      Whenever we call them they simply tell us that they will send someone. My parents are old and cannot put their hands in water has they have bone problem.

                                      We want the machine to be replaced completely or the money to be refunded.

                                        wow!!! glad to see I am not the only one to kick the products of godrej. This may be a largest company in home products (claimed by godrej itself). I purchased a Godrej window AC from some Deepak Agencies in Ajmer. He took al the payment assuring free installation. He promised to install before 10 am next day. I called him at 12 pm and he said we forgot to install your product and we will send some one to install it. Nobdy came till 3 when called them again asked them to take their product back they said we didn't sell any product to you and you make your own arrangements to get it installed. After so many requests they send someone who didn't belong to their company. He also said that if godrej can't provide the service why they sell product. Now the picture of godrej was clear to me. Now after 2 months someone came to me asking if you have any godrej product. I m cursing the day I purchased godrej ac. I lodged a complaint that I am facing noice problem and also water logging is there in the ac. Today two guys came to me an when I told them about the problem they started laughing. Now thay are saying that the ac is not properly installed. YOU HAVE TO PAY AGAIN TO GET IT PROPERLY INSTALLED. What a ****ing company I m dealing with. If these guys fail to install it properly then pay again to get it reinstalled. Nice way of fooling customers. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. Godrej shall outsource their service inquiries to LG or SAMSUNG
