buy a HCL system. Monitor (HCL 8087AM043701 ) came with this system is creating great problems. Every user who owns this monitor is facing same problem. It's monitor display settings pop up automatically again & again. Menu buttons are not working. After every boot up screen got distorted.It's not only my problem but everyone who is using this monitor is facing same problem. Please help me adjusting the display settings of this monitor i mean configure my display settings very correctly (resolution, refresh rate etc) plssssss

As explained to you over telephone on 14.05.2011, we have B2B and B2C divisions in HCL catering to the different customer segments. We represent ‘ consumer computing’ – B2C division and we cater to the customer in the home segment only through the appointment of retailers/resellers. The retailers/resellers in turn sell it to the home user. The B2B division, caters to Govt, large corporate, SI, BFSI and other segments directly by HCL. Our Requirement is 100 Desktops of dual core,100 Atom Desktops or AIO,and 100 HCL XCITEL52A Laptops for these requirement i have already mail the PO to Mr.Alik mark cc to Mr.Anil but till i did not got any updated from them,We are regularly contacting both but they dont have any confirmed words always coming with an fake commitment.

Is this the Real face of HCL & sales department????This bad image reflect not only on HCL with us it will be getting more than 1000 home users and professionals,company by us HCL is loosing trust and making remark on its brand.

I request to concern people to address our request in right order take the required actions and do the needfull accordingly and save the brand good image HCL since my requests is pending from last 15days.

I brought HCL Laptop model Hcl Ae1v2351-x from technology next infocom, Nehru Place on 14 April 2011.
One the very day, I got windows XP loaded on my comp, which somehow seem not working and my system kept hanging. I got the system formatted twice, from different IT consultants, but this hanging problem remained.


On the 22nd April 2011, I lodged a complain with the HCL Helpline, complaint ID[protected]. The visiting engineer (Shankar - [protected]) took my system's hard disk as it was defaulted.


If I go by the sequence, I understand that the laptop had a defaulted Hard disk, which shall be replaced with a newer one, rather than repairing the defaulted one. As it does not make sense to me if I have to get the stuff I brought right from the showroom repaired, (its not second hand stuff)


It a case of consumer right violation and causing mental agony on a newly purchased merchandise. I did not spend my money to get a stuff which does not work properly, abd time and again I have been misled with differing versions as in replaces or repaired hard disk. I have the details of my older hard-disk so pls dont even try to get into any tricks.


I again reiterate that whatever the case be, I shall be given a functionally working replaced brand new hard-disk for my system. The person incharge of my disk at HCL is Mr Yogesh [protected]. This shall be done at the earliest by 28th April as I have lots of pending things to work on.


Now I am regretting my decision to not go for an acer laptop. I opted for hcol as my sister has it and hers seem to function well. Hope to hear from you soon.

In hcl bpo sector sholinganallur, chennai.
1) the employess are treated as bounded labours. my husband work there for 15 hrs a day.
2) Then how the employee will have the potential to work? it is totally lead to physical, mental and health hazzard .
3) Monetary beniefits are too low and moreover there is no overtime (OT) in offshore. that is till project goes alive there will be no OT.

these are the major reasons for more retrechment in bpo sector. it is not healthy for economy of india.

they treat employees as school children. i dont know how to say more than this...

if possible take action on this issue and bring a solution to this.

We are purchase 245/- Thin Client 254/- TFT 15" 249/- Mouse 256/- Keyboard 20/- TFT 17" for our company in year of 2008 with five year warranty but you people is not supporting as per the Warranty period is defined at the time of purchase.

And the support people is always used blame us that we have earthing problem in my company. But I already said to him that there is no earthing issue in my company and he can check by their own in my company. And I am doing mail from last one month and the support people from HCL is not even replying my single email. And now I am helpless where should I go to claim my warranty in HCL. HCL Technologies - BPO Services which is based in ELCOT campus - shollinganallur (Project Accord), is not giving leave on election day. Its our right as a citizen of india to vote. But my company is not giving me an opportunity to utilize my citizen ship rights.

Please look in to this and ban all the companies which is not giving the basic rights of citizens.

Dear Sir,

I have ordered a laptop online on 29th dec 2010, they have told me you will get laptop within 7 working days.After 10 workings days, I have called them they told me that you will get your laptop b/w 25th Jan to 29th Jan 2011.Since they have delayed to send me my laptop they have told me you will get Reebok jacket as a compensation. I have received my laptop on 29th jan 2011.

From the first day I have received my laptop it is not at all on a working state.My new laptop is not working from the date i have received. I have called them more than 15 to 20 times ask them to lodge a complaint they have lodge a complaint, but on the base of complaint they never revert me back properly.Complaint no[protected] on dated 29th Jan 2011 and[protected] on 5th Feb 2011),but they didn't provide me proper solution.

I asked them to take this laptop and send me new laptop, but they are not able to say anything.

My current laptop state is the date I have purchased I have never used my laptop.

There is a biggest challenge for HCL Management as far as the unqualified, cheap behaving and substandard managers.

The following are only the samples of those pathetic managers.

First person is Yuvaraj Subbaraman – Sr. Manager who is currently in C5 center under Rajagopal Swaminathan. Yuvaraj Subbaraman could have not got any employment apart from HCL BPO. He is a perfect example of how a manager of any industry should not be. He is a sadist. Shiv Nadar and Vineet Nayar are giving importance to employee first policy. But if they come to know about this Yuvaraj Subbaraman, they will split on their own face for employing this crook.
He deliberately gave below expectations for the Agents from falcon process who were gone through Aspire programs which is an iniative of Mr Nadar him self to arrest the attrition in BPO and to groom up their loyal employees as Soft ware engineers. He gave the least possible rating by the time the innocent employees were about to be transferred to HCL Tech from HCL BPO. The issue got resolved only after the interference of Mr. A.P.Rao then HR head of HCL BPO. Yuvaraj Subbaraman also use to crack the vulgar jokes about the women agents. I can say numerous complaints against this crook but I am unable to do due to my busy schedule. Totally Yuvaraj Subbaraman is a bloody crook and conman who should be sacked out of HCL for the share holder’s benefit.

The second fellow is Shankar Kalavai who is pathetic in English. He can’t even able to form a single sentence in English correctly and cant draft a single mail without grammatical and spelling errors. I wonder how HCL management is persisting with these kinds of substandard managers.

I request the top management of HCL or HCLBPO to sincerely review the qualification and quality of managers and remove the junks and increase the productivity, retain the best talents and save the image of the company and ensure the wealth of the share holders.

Based on HCL good name name I have joined in HCL on June 3rd 2008 but it is worst company in prospective of HR policies. After my technical discussions i have accepted the HCL offer they never said anything like what they mentioned in offer. On my joining date they given offer letter in that there is condition like (in my total CTC there is some performance bonus around 12K per month, it is not extra it is part in CTC) whenever we want resigned we have return it back to HCL. Example i have joined on June so i want resign in Dec i have to pay back to them 12000*6=…??? Think how they want take back our hard working money and sucking our blood.

Working hours also 9.30 hours per day.

Another horrible thing that recently i have resigned to HCL Oct 15th 2010 so immediately thy stopped my salary so i have to service them 60 days notice that means my last working day will be Dec 16th.. That means for three months I didn’t not get any salary.. How it is difficult to survive without salary.

Even it is not end,,, after 60 days notice period they will not settle final settlement with in 15 or 30 days ... what is their SLA you know... 45 days.. So after completion of 45 days i sent mail to HR Babita Rampal what is her reply I got you know ?? if you know you will get surprise.. it is not 45 days , it will be 45 working days... that means around 60 days..

So if you want resign to HCL you should not expect 5 month salary... as well you have to pay them back based on your resignation time period.. Think to join in HCL as these was worst HR policy..
There is only 16 anural leaves,,, no marriage leaves no medical leaves nothing.

I have launched this complaint on 22'Jan'11 and your Engineer took my both Ram's but it's been over the week and they are still unable to repair it.

The most bad thing about YOU DON'T CARE attitude of yours is when I called " Mr. Harinder Singh" in your call center and requested him to please hurry and install my RAM's as early as possible; I am really outsourced without my pc but there careless attitude is that he guided me to do a follow up with customer service center and promised me that it shall be resolved till Tuesday or Thursday but all your do not care attitude is such that it is still not resolved as yet and now they say it will be resolved on Monday. What is nonsense your executives are playing with customers????

Even I have written so many e-mails to you but there is still no response from your side, how careless you people are towards customer service.

Why can't they give the time frame so that customer does not have to wait for them???

Why do they give false assurances to customers when it is not in their limits to solve the complaint?

If HCL is taking full one week's time to solve one simple problem then why you say that customer is your first priorty??

What is the use of your warranty when same problem can be solved within a day in market??

Please solve my query today only or take your warranty back from me, you can keep the money as a donation for your fast service from me, I don't mind it.


After sending this above complaint I received an assurance and call from Mr. Pradeep Dhaiya on 28th Jan'11 and he assured me that it will be resolved before afternoon today i.e 29th but what a lousy attitude of all HCL executives; I received a call from from another executive just about few minutes ago and she said that Engineer could not resolved my issue today as he is having trouble with his bike and they want me to believe their such Lame Excuses. After denying her, I recieved a call from Mr. Pradeep Dhaiya and on his request I agreed to his Second commitment that it will be resolved tomorrow by 10 a.m.

Though I agreed to his commitment but as a customer of HCL products I cannot believe their lazy services that they are providing. Why do they want that customer should bear with all their excuses and their lazy services?

Pradeep Dhaiya ji; it is my most humble request to resolve the issue by 10 a.m tomorrow on 30th Jan'11,as you have promised me and I am still waiting for the e-mail that you promised I will received it today about your commitment.

My HCL plasma (monitor) of my desktop computer stops showing display after few min means it get black on screen but when I switch of the monitor button and switch on then it shows the screen. When my monitor gets black the programs are running easily, there is no disturbances in running programs, to quit the program I have to switch of and on my PC.
So please repair my plasma ................................its very urgent.
