    Failed transaction amount refund

    On 13th May, there was a debit transaction done from my Debit Card for HDFC bank account number [protected]. The total amount deducted was 4637.00 Rupees. The transaction was failed but money was deducted from my account and the merchant says the transaction was cancelled. I still didnt get my money back even after 11 days.

    I want to complaint for vanit malhotra who is working in a hdfc branch butala/2997. Yesterday I applied my rtgs at the morning time but vanit malhotra didn't sign on rtgs as he called me and said why you want to transfer money to other bank and I said this is my personal thing and then he claim that we do not do this.Customers do this by own.Moreover he shout at me and abuses me which is very disrespectful.I've been your customer for 2 years now but have't receive such reaction from anyone and now I'm really disappointed with your bank and now I really want to leave your bank. So please take some serious action against him as soon as possible.

      I have been writing to hdfc since 15th may and issue is still not resolved, i'm holding a cc since 4.5 yrs and have never defaulted in making payments, but couldn't pay for the past 2 months and they have permanently blocked after taking all the amount i had in my account (Which i deposited for my emi's and cc payment). I did not receive any payment reminders post 20th marc, my first payment was skipped in march and infact i had written email to them for the reason of non-payment and requested to convert everything on emi but there was no single revert on my emails. They held all the amount in my account from 4th may and all my emi's got bounced and on top of it i have been levied for the bounce charges though the mistake is from their end. And now to activate my card i have been writing so many emails and making so many calls but issue still remains unresolved. They are just cheating calling on my old number and stating they have called though my number has been updated in their records. They are aware of my new residential address but not my number??? April payment was also skipped but there was no single call for reminder on payments nor anyone called me. And now they say they will not calling anyone for reminding about payments and directly hold the amount in savings account (Their terms and conditions is entirely different from what their executive told me this morning). When i have tried my best to keep them informed and requested for balance transfer on emi and there was no single revert on it and is it fair to hold my amount in account without any intimation? Also all the amount plus additional amount has been taken from my account for the cc payment, now they inform me to pay the amount generated last month when my card is permanently blocked last month itself.

        Kishore [protected] has been calling me/my relatives/their relatives wherein i have already spoken about the settlement but this chap is so pathetic /foul and stinks when he calls everyone wherein i am being severely harassed effecting my health mind and this guy will be responsible for any misshaping .
        I will take legal action if it doesnt stop as there is NO law of disclosing persons personal debt in public that too in a life threatening manner.

              I opened a corporate salary account in hdfc bank in month of september 2016 and got the activation confirmation mail on 09 september 2016 stating that your account is active now. But have not been using the account since september 2016 to may 2017 and therefore have not utilised any of the services of the bank. Still my account balance is -2794.50 and i am receiving alert mail stating that your account is not being operated since 04 july 2016. It seems my account got converted into savings account but i never received any intimation or confirmation from hdfc that your account is now converted into savings account. I was never informed about the negative balance or the hold balance. Even all of my monthly statement till 04 may 2017 states that my closing balance is 0.0 and no hold balance is ever mentioned in the monthly statement although the statement states that the closing balance includes hold balance as well. I never received any notification regarding this hold balance.
              I want to continue with the account as savings, so i request you to kindly consider waiving this negative balance of -2794.50 for which i never received any notification and please look into the issue of my account not being operated since 04 july 2016 although the account was activated for the first time on 09 sep 2016.

                Hi,

                I am a customer of hdfc bank for about 10 years/more now. My parents also hold an account with Hdfc, cochin. Till date my experience with this bank has been good.

                A week ago, i could see "NEFT/IMPS charges" levied on my Classic account and that too without any prior notification that such charges are in place from so and so date. I have performed "n" number of NEFT transactions before without any service charges.. Why is it suddenly being imposed ? Why is the customer not informed on such changes?

                1) I request to reverse the charges which has been incurred.
                2) An amount of Rs100 should remain as 100 when moved from account A to B. Government talks about cashless and digital economy.. While banks are charging for each and every digital transaction now. This is not acceptable..
                I wont hesitate to move out of hdfc, if this is continued..

                  I had accumulated reward point worth 20417 on my HDFC Credit card. When I tried to redeem the same, and called the customer care they informed me that within half an hour I should receive OTP to my personal mobile number. Its been 2 days now and there is no OTP yet. I called several times to Customer care on 21st May 2017 and they said that the points have not been redeemed yet. Now when I login to my account and see, all the points have been redeemed but I have not yet received any voucher.

                    My credit card no. Is [protected]. Three officials from card section of kolkata office mr jai dev: relationship manager (Land line no. These 3 officials have cheated me in card settlement case in dec2016 assuring me of refund of 11000/-.

                    I had to pay 11000/- rs which i didn't spend a single penny. They promised to give back my money but now they are denying any such conversation. Please help.

                      The worst service ever i had ;there was a girl (nazmin) from delhi i guess she was keep on calling me to take hdfc credit card.Though i wasn't interested at all. After getting so many calls i agreed to take it, 2 months ago(approximately).Now i have been calling customer care no. there no response at all once i was able to speak to ms gurmit kaur (not sure the same exactly) she said she will make sure i get my card with in one week but its been 15-16 days i haven't received anything. In fact I am receiving a msg saying that my mobile bill is paid by my credit card ...how is it possible how can be credit card used without receiving it.

                      I was given a contact no. by nazmin [protected] (her manager's) I spoke to him as well but nothing happened he seems not at all interested to assist their valuable customer.Even there is no answer after calling so many times.

                        We were given a credit card from HDFC Bank based on the salary account, which we did not want initially. However we were told that the payment made towards the card will be deducted in the outstanding balance, we have made the payment on a monthly basis, but still the outstanding amount remains the same. now we have been told that the amount that we have paid all these days is for interest, and we keep getting threatening calls from the agency people and we have been harassed. my wife is pregnant and she has been disturbed mentally with continuous calls and threaten by the agency people. we are asking for a final settlement which we can afford to pay but we have been denied.                                   To my relationship manager,

                                  I have spoke to one of your collection agent last two days before for the credit card #[protected]. I have informed him that i have applied for my personal loan and the money yet to receive it. Still i'm waiting for it. By the time i receive i'll settle all your outstanding amount.

                                  Until stop your Collection activities. I have explained to your representative about my current situation. And stop calling me!!! Even though i have seen him in my door step. Stop harassment.

                                  I have checked my credit reports, for the past 3 months it was not reported. Kindly start reporting to the credit bureaus. I have been late for few months, please wave late charges in my total outstanding amount. I will be more happy.

                                  I here by awaiting for the positive for my information as soon as possible.

                                    I am holding hdfc salary account from last 6 years.

                                    I have deposited 80, 000 amount 15th may 2017 in mohammedwadi branch pune,. I have deposited cash many times but they never deducted any amount. Now hdfc bank deducted 316.25 rupees without any information.
                                    When i have deposited amount bank employee not told any about cash deposit charges.

                                    I want to close my salary account from hdfc, please suggest

                                      Hi,

                                      I'm Sriram Reddy Gonuguntla work in London as network engineer for an IT firm.

                                      i'm not using my account in HDFC bank from past 1year and there was standing order for a Om ashram charity which was set in the year 2011 and it should be valid only for 2 years but even after 2 years without my knowledge the HDFC bank helped them to continue it and whenever the amount is not credited to OM Ashram HDFC is considering the transaction as failed and compensating 800/- for 1000/- standing order.Which i recently noticed and informed to HDFC that OM ASHRAM is still collecting the fund from my account which should not be the case, then the employee who dealt this on 17th April 2017 helped me in giving the closure account form and request me to close the DEMAT account before i request for actual account closure.I informed him that i'll be in city only for 2 days and will be flying back to London.He confirmed after closing the DEMAT account i can send the closure application with passport copy to them and they will accept.

                                      I gave closure account application to my dad and asked him to submit in Bank in the following week.Which he did but the employee who is working in that bank behaved rudely with my father and started arguing that he is not supposed to give the account closure application on my behalf.Even they did not accept my passport copy.

                                      Later after manager interference the employee accepted the closure application and sent mail to me for confirmation and i did confirm in mail.But now they are telling me that i've to go back to my town from London to provide them proof that its my account and have to refill the account closure form infront of Bank employee.All this conversation happened from the email i enrolled to my account but still they are not believing me and not closing my account.

                                      I request you to please help to take proper action on these people and help to close my hdfc savings account.
