I tried to withdraw rs 10000 from ICICI bank ATM at Adsandh road panipat.
No money was dispensed. But amount was deducted. Smsreceived at 12:14 noon on March 20; 2017. Then I got rs 10000 twice from idbi atm same day.
Now after 1 month passing hdfc bank says it can't do anything. go to ICICI bank manager.
Im a middle class teacher.helpless.I have talked to customer care 10 times, have emailed numerous times but to no avail.

        I was told by hdfc representative that without incurring any cost my home loan can be switched from icici to hdfc bank. From current high rate of interest to 8.5%. However before sanction letter processing fee cheque was demanded, as a formality and commitment of getting it re-reimbursed in first installment.
        After sanction letter they have deducted money, many more papers were asked, and after 3-4 months cheque was prepared now they are asking me to pay mortgage charges, and for that i will have to go to mumbai where property is located, (Which was not told in the beginning). It is causing me trouble, difficulty, inconvenience, and costing me high. And all because of mis-leading/wrong communication. I would have changed roi by paying minimal fee to icici and could have got reduced rate of interest (8.5%) 3-4 months before

          Recently I got msg that my debit card need to be replaced for chip type with free of cost and on other hand due daily usage wear and tear the card got damaged.
          On hoisting and reissuing hdfc has charged 230 rs. Even though it's not a big amount but hdfc has charged for a prime customer. I feel it's not fare.and also the card has not been upgraded. Request to return the amount back to my account and replace the card with upgraded one.

              I was sending money into my account no using payzapp. It was not credited in my account. But the amount was debited in payzapp. This transaction done on 25.04.2017. But still i cant get my money in my account or payzapp app. I am checking everyday. But still it was not refund any account. Kindly solve this issue. This is first time i faced this type of problem.

                I got call from [protected]. This person introduce himself from hdfc life insurance company. He told me about interest free loan against hdfc life jeevan samruddhi policy plan. He is telling me he is senior manager of hdfc life insurance/loan dept. He told me about and convinced me fully on it.

                By several follow up with these people they convinced me to get 10 times of loan of insurance value at 0% interest for ten years. Ie-if i will paid 50000 then hdfc will give rs 1000000 for 10 years with 0% interest and benefit of insurance policy will go to hdfc life.
                First it sounds good to ear and any one will attract to it. But be aware of such type of calls

                Beacuse they are frauds... Hdfc as brand has become fraud

                With the help of this forum, i would like to tell all people to not faith on such type of calls /offers.
                These people are third party vendor working for these banks and getting commission on each sell of products.
                Please be aware of such type of calls. One of my friend who has already taken a policy and he didn't get any loan after that.
                Now he is looking to close his policy but no one is helping him to return his first paid premium.

                I contact the HDFC bank again, as per the COMMENT POSTED by the HDFC bank, but again no reply from the, HDFC bank is in a habit of making people suffer, this is not the only case, while going through the reviews of the people on different forums, they have done this to lot of people.

                HDFC replied they will get back to me within 2 business days, however i haven't received any reply from its been 6 days, even i contact them again, but as usual, HDFC bank don't believe in replying to the consumers, they only have 1 reply that is system generated email to let us know they will get back to us but they don't, i am also attaching the screen shot of HDFC reply and after this automated reply, they never bothered to reply again.

                i would urge people to contact me, so together we can file a classified action law suit against the HDFC for the harassment they have caused to lot of people, this might be a start from our end to make sure people don't suffer due the harassment that they might face in dealing with HDFC bank in future.

                  Regarding : hdfc bank jet privilege credit card no. [protected]

                  I was in tallin, estonia along with my parents. On the 29.12.2016 i went to a club called madonna which was about 10-15 minutes by taxi from my hotel. Prior to entering the club i had to pay the entrance fee at this club madonna which are incurred through my hdfc bank credit card. Even though the card was chip enabled and is supposed to be a mandatory feature as per rbi, the club incurred the charge through signature and not the pin as it wasn't working on their machine - a fault of the credit card issuer.. I hung my coat in the cloak room which contained the wallet and other personal belongings.

                  During the time i was in the club, i started getting multiple messages on my phone of the charges being fraudulently incurred as per details below which i saw later when i got back to my hotel

                  - rs. 105133.95
                  - rs. 10655.47
                  - rs. 39070.05
                  - rs. 24862.76
                  - rs. 710.65
                  - rs. 3551.82
                  - rs. 51415.70

                  All the abovre charges were declined due to inadequate credit limit.

                  Prior to the above charges being incurred, during the same time the below charges were approved that was a fraud transaction and not incurred by me.

                  - rs. 39257.17
                  - rs. 10733.77
                  - rs. 105906.57

                  Any sensible person could say that a fraud had been committed as all these charges were incurred one after the other in a quick succession within a few minutes. I immediately called hdfc bank from tallinn, estonia and after waiting for 10-15 minutes i was connected to the customer care and blocked my card. As per the requirement i immediately went to the estonian police criminal department and lodged my complaint, the same has been forwarded to hdfc bank. The complaint states that the fraud had been incurred and that the criminal was yet to be taken into police custody.

                  The bank informed me on 28.04.2017 after numerous calls and emails made by me to inform that there was no fraudulent charges incurred - mentioning - hdfc bank says, "we were in receipt of valid documents from the merchant indicating the transactions were incurred in your presence". I immediately called the bank to ask for such documents to check and investigate at my end which the bank refused to provide and hence had to send email to - grievance. [protected]@hdfcbank.com, [protected]@hdfcbank.com asking for such documents.

                  I am shocked of this callous behaviour of hdfc bank and it is apparent that no heed is given to such fraudulent charges that are of legitimate nature and the bank's refusal as of today to hand over the alleged documents which they claim to be in their possession.

                  It is evident that hdfc bank is hell-bent on extorting money from its credit card holders no matter what circumstances they might be in.

                    I have submitted cancelled cheque to customer service desk twice, i have also get auto debit facility activated email from [protected]@hdfclice.com on 18th apr, 2017 and 21st apr 2017. However i got email yesterday (28th apr, 2017) saying that your auto debit facility is active state due to cheque bounce (I don;t understand in auto debit facility why they are giving reason about cheque bounce) and now they are saying you have to submit the cancelled cheque again which i had already submitted twice. I have sufficient balance in my account as well. Please check out attached image.

                    I have requested them to call back, but they are saying we can't call you back. That is strange! If i enquire about new policy they will call immediately but for exiting customers they don't call. That clearly shows that they are only interested in new business and don't care about existing customers.

                    I have already called 4-5 times and spent around rs.200 by calling your help line number (It is not toll free).
                    Every time called there will be new executive and i have to explain every thing to them again from zero and call gets disconnected after few mins (I doubt that you are earning money from network provider as well by dropping a customer call) and they have to spent 4-5 mins in waiting and selecting menu and etc.

                      I do not need any calls from hdfc. I should not get any calls for loans/credit card/insurance etc because i don't need it, is it tough to understand this language??
                      Else i will close all my accounts and will file a complain against you all for worrying me unnecessarily.
                      I hope you understood the language. Respond me on my email-id [protected]@gmail.com on this issue within 24hours and activate dnd which means do not disturb in case you all don't understand it.

                        I'm using a HDFC Credit Card from long time back. Recently, they are allowing few selected merchants (like: Google) to make the transaction through the credit/debit card without any authentication of the account holder.

                        Also, While people are making the online transaction through debit or credit card or net-banking, the merchants website saving all the details of the card information including card number, date of expiry, cvv number and even pin number also.

                        After informing to HDFC bank, they are saying that in case of international transaction no further authentication is require. So, If the payment gateway is international then they will not authenticate the same in any point.

                        My concern is that, I have not used the credit card in google for last 4-5 month. But, the HDFC make the payment to Google around Rs. 33, 800.00 against my card.

                        So, I have blocked the card and requested them to issue a new card which is not registered anywhere in the google.

                        Still, they are charging the same without making any transaction for this account.

                        Please look into the matter as this is the 2nd time I have felled that the HDFC is frauding with me.

                        If google will save the details card information then others are also doing the same. If, it become true, then the digital India may not success or we never recommend to make the transaction online as it is not completely safe for Indian people.

                          Iam planning to close the my hdfc credit card. Due to the worst customer experience. Last friday i got call from one of your representative name mahnea tiruvanmiur branch. Chennai. She spoke like rowdy. She dont know how to speak with customer. I forger last month minimum due i agree with that. I said iam planning to pay full amount in before 28th she said u cant pay even 4000 then how will you pay 41000. And also she speak like rowdy kind of speach i cant explain here. I dint sleep past 2days past 8 years iam the customer of hdfc bank now im shame on this kind of worst bank.

                              The Bank has in place a model policy on collections of dues and repossession of security that is available on the Bank’s website (www.hdfcbank.com). An extract from the policy is given below for your ready reference.

                              Collection of Dues
                              Whenever we give loans, we will explain to you the repayment process by way of amount tenure and periodicity of repayment. However, if you do not adhere to repayment schedule, a defined process in accordance with the laws of the land will be followed for recovery of dues. The process will involve reminding you by sending you notice or by making personal visits and/or repossession of security if any.
                              Our collection policy is built on courtesy, fair treatment and persuasion. We believe in fostering customer confidence and long-term relationship. Our staff or any person authorized to represent us in collection of dues or/and security repossession will identify himself/herself and display the authority letter issued by us and upon request display(ing) to you his/her identity card issued by the bank or under authority of the bank. We will provide you with all the information regarding dues and will endeavor to give sufficient notice for payment of dues.
                              All the members of the staff or any person authorized to represent our bank in collection or/and security repossession would follow the guidelines set out below:
                              a. You would be contacted ordinarily at the place of your choice and in the absence of any specified place at the place of your residence and i[censored]navailable at your residence, at the place of business/occupation.
                              b. Identity and authority to represent would be made known to you at the first instance.
                              c. Your privacy would be respected.
                              d. Interaction with you would be in a civil manner
                              e. Normally our representatives will contact you between 07:00 hours and 19:00 hours, unless the special circumstances of your businessor occupation require otherwise.
                              f. Your requests to avoid calls at a particular time or at a particular place would be honored as far as possible.

                                Hi my name is syed muzzaffar salman applied for personnal loan from hdfc bank. And when i called customer service people today dated 26.04.2017 said they dont see any information or verification has not been done as if yet. Then i got a call from hdfc bank loan dept. Saying basis of your cibil your loan got rejected and what she said my cibil is 691. I informed that cannot be true because i have copy of cibil which downloaded two days ago, which shows my
                                Cibil is 771. So that means hdfc bank is lying. Her name is sukhwinder from loan dept. Saying let me check and call you back. I said dont call me back because you guys have waisted my time as well and will not deal with hdfc bank any more because of this lousy service or pathetic service.

                                  This is vikas jadhav having hdfc bank saving account [protected] fc road, hdfc bank debited rs. 1618.47 & rs. 1534.15 from my saving account without any approval on 12th april 2017.

                                  I have on tour and when i swap card on petrol pump they have declined my card payment. I have shocked when saw my hdfc bank debited my account without my confirmation or any prior intimation.

                                  Due hdfc bank nonsense treatment i have lost my important meeting.

                                  I have made complait to director forum of hdfc bank but yet not positive and valid response from them.

                                  Today i got call from customer representative mr. Ashish of hdfc bank from phone no [protected] 9.35 am. He told me bank had deducted your credit card outstanding. But my outstanding is old of 9 year. And he dont know why deducted. He told me i will forward this query to my boss but yet not response from them. I asked him question that if outstanding is pending from 2010 then why you not deducted in last 7 years but he dont have any answer also my cibil scrore is down due their carelessness treatment with customers.

                                  I have checked the same outstanding of credit card transaction was 2010 and the credit card is blocked in 2013 and they have not intimated to me from 2013 to march 2017. Deducted amount is not tallied with outstanding of 2010 as well as i have send mail and letters regarding outstanding of credit card to bank so many time but nobody replied me.

                                  Now my complaint is how can bank deducted amount whatever they want and when they want without account holder confirmation and approval?

                                  What are they doing in last 7 years. They have not entertained my emails.

                                  If this type treatment done from hdfc bank to his old customer then how we can trust on banks and reserve bank of india. This is tollay fraud with me and harassment by hdfc bank

                                  Kindly refund the same money in my account on high priority.

                                    There was mis-communication from Mumbai office to local office.call received from no.[protected]., Kept me waiting for 2 hrs in loan dept. not even bothered to say that it would take time I can complete your other work if any, no alternative staff was present to operate locker and staff was making fun of me when I told them that they are in private sector. Manager instead of taking action was advocating for the staff mistake.
