I'm using a HDFC Credit Card from long time back. Recently, they are allowing few selected merchants (like: Google) to make the transaction through the credit/debit card without any authentication of the account holder.

Also, While people are making the online transaction through debit or credit card or net-banking, the merchants website saving all the details of the card information including card number, date of expiry, cvv number and even pin number also.

After informing to HDFC bank, they are saying that in case of international transaction no further authentication is require. So, If the payment gateway is international then they will not authenticate the same in any point.

My concern is that, I have not used the credit card in google for last 4-5 month. But, the HDFC make the payment to Google around Rs. 33, 800.00 against my card.

So, I have blocked the card and requested them to issue a new card which is not registered anywhere in the google.

Still, they are charging the same without making any transaction for this account.

Please look into the matter as this is the 2nd time I have felled that the HDFC is frauding with me.

If google will save the details card information then others are also doing the same. If, it become true, then the digital India may not success or we never recommend to make the transaction online as it is not completely safe for Indian people.

    Gap Interest deducted without prior intimation before loan amount disbursed

    I have taken personal loan from hdfc bank after lot of negotiations for processing fee for almost 20 days which was come down to 1999, so everything fine to me with details as below and agreed to take the loan with hdfc.

    Roi 11%, 48 emis each em i 25846 pf: 1999

    Loan amount approved was 10 lakhs, but before disbursing the amount i have asked about the deductions and breakup details.

    Iam planning to close the my hdfc credit card. Due to the worst customer experience. Last friday i got call from one of your representative name mahnea tiruvanmiur branch. Chennai. She spoke like rowdy. She dont know how to speak with customer. I forger last month minimum due i agree with that. I said iam planning to pay full amount in before 28th she said u cant pay even 4000 then how will you pay 41000. And also she speak like rowdy kind of speach i cant explain here. I dint sleep past 2days past 8 years iam the customer of hdfc bank now im shame on this kind of worst bank.

        I have made payment for settlement to hdfc bank person on 28 feb 2015 for 7000 to settle down the card and surrender the card.

        But still I have not got settlement letter from them.

        I am getting below mails on very frequently basis.

        Collection of Dues
        Whenever we give loans, we will explain to you the repayment process by way of amount tenure and periodicity of repayment. However, if you do not adhere to repayment schedule, a defined process in accordance with the laws of the land will be followed for recovery of dues. The process will involve reminding you by sending you notice or by making personal visits and/or repossession of security if any.
        Our collection policy is built on courtesy, fair treatment and persuasion. We believe in fostering customer confidence and long-term relationship. Our staff or any person authorized to represent us in collection of dues or/and security repossession will identify himself/herself and display the authority letter issued by us and upon request display(ing) to you his/her identity card issued by the bank or under authority of the bank. We will provide you with all the information regarding dues and will endeavor to give sufficient notice for payment of dues.
        All the members of the staff or any person authorized to represent our bank in collection or/and security repossession would follow the guidelines set out below:

          Hi my name is syed muzzaffar salman applied for personnal loan from hdfc bank. And when i called customer service people today dated 26.04.2017 said they dont see any information or verification has not been done as if yet. Then i got a call from hdfc bank loan dept. Saying basis of your cibil your loan got rejected and what she said my cibil is 691. I informed that cannot be true because i have copy of cibil which downloaded two days ago, which shows my
          Cibil is 771. So that means hdfc bank is lying. Her name is sukhwinder from loan dept. Saying let me check and call you back. I said dont call me back because you guys have waisted my time as well and will not deal with hdfc bank any more because of this lousy service or pathetic service.

            This is vikas jadhav having hdfc bank saving account [protected] fc road, hdfc bank debited rs. 1618.47 & rs. 1534.15 from my saving account without any approval on 12th april 2017.

            I have on tour and when i swap card on petrol pump they have declined my card payment. I have shocked when saw my hdfc bank debited my account without my confirmation or any prior intimation.

            Due hdfc bank nonsense treatment i have lost my important meeting.

            I have made complait to director forum of hdfc bank but yet not positive and valid response from them.

            Today i got call from customer representative mr. Ashish of hdfc bank from phone no [protected] 9.35 am. He told me bank had deducted your credit card outstanding. But my outstanding is old of 9 year. And he dont know why deducted. He told me i will forward this query to my boss but yet not response from them. I asked him question that if outstanding is pending from 2010 then why you not deducted in last 7 years but he dont have any answer also my cibil scrore is down due their carelessness treatment with customers.

            I have checked the same outstanding of credit card transaction was 2010 and the credit card is blocked in 2013 and they have not intimated to me from 2013 to march 2017. Deducted amount is not tallied with outstanding of 2010 as well as i have send mail and letters regarding outstanding of credit card to bank so many time but nobody replied me.

            Now my complaint is how can bank deducted amount whatever they want and when they want without account holder confirmation and approval?

            What are they doing in last 7 years. They have not entertained my emails.

            If this type treatment done from hdfc bank to his old customer then how we can trust on banks and reserve bank of india. This is tollay fraud with me and harassment by hdfc bank

            Kindly refund the same money in my account on high priority.

              There was mis-communication from Mumbai office to local office.call received from no.[protected]., Kept me waiting for 2 hrs in loan dept. not even bothered to say that it would take time I can complete your other work if any, no alternative staff was present to operate locker and staff was making fun of me when I told them that they are in private sector. Manager instead of taking action was advocating for the staff mistake.

And net banking details first i deney he said i send you sms from hdfc bank for your confirmation when i infirm him he ask me abount otp. Now i am warry abount this. I think he hak my account.                   So this is regarding my credit card and emi... my apologies for missing on my payment or delaying it is can say. But I think other banks understand a customers situation if I can say I met with an accident and had to undergo a surgery which I had to be on complete bed rest... I explained the situation to the people who called me to follow up regarding the payment... none of them understood my situation. They kept calling me when I had to be on bed rest with medicines. This was a 100% mental torture for me! N the executive who spoke to me spoke so rude when I said I was really left with no money. I even promised I would make the payment with the fines what ever Is shown and I am not going to miss it. If i answer the call and talk is this what is the respect I get back from them? Try to go find defaulters like this and Sue them instead of sueing people who are making their payments and are picking up the calls. Ridiculous customer service and I think especially in hdfc they dont know anything called customer relationship management. They are just behind money and want money from people even if they are dieing.

                    I deposited 35, 000 rupees in my salary account and they have deducted 172.50 Rupees, teller didnt convey me that charges will be there for depositing the money.
                    Also this is my first time in the month that I am depositing cash in my account.
                    Also this amount is less than 50, 000 then what is the reason for deduction.
                    Plz look into this.

                      1. I have an account in HDFC Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh.
                      2. I tried to make a purchase worth Rs.705 on 8th April, 2017 using netbanking facility linked to my account.
                      3. The action was abruptly aborted because of loss in connectivity and the payment was aborted.
                      4. I rang up the merchant and he acknowledged verbally the failure of the payment and also sent me a mail confirming the same.
                      5. However the bank account statement says that money was deducted for the failed transaction.
                      6. I have contacted the bank through mails over three times now, but no satisfactory response has followed. Even the call centres do not connect because they ask for phonebanking pin just for speaking to their representatives.
                      7. Such behaviour from HDFC Bank is not at all customer and user friendly. The bank should smoothen it's channel for the ease of access of it's customers.
                      8. Kindly refund my hard earned money back to me at the earliest and save me further inconvenience.

                      Rs. 680 out of the transaction amount of Rs. 705 refunded back to my account. The refund is still incomplete but the merchant and not the bank is responsible for the money still held back. My complaint is resoved.

                        I had previously blocked my food card. I got my lost card now.Could you please unblock it ?

                          My customer id is 52700864. I have applied for new debit card; HDFC bank deducted my Rs. 750/- from my account but I have not received my new card.

                          I have been following this from a month, now I don’t want any new card. Kindly refund my money on urgent basis as now I don’t want ant new card from HDFC Bank.

                          This has been very disappointing that HDFC bank do such false commitments and deduct unnecessary money from accounts.

                          The debit card for your account as sent to your registered communication address through blue dart courier service vide ref id [protected] on March 31, 2017. The card got returned to us for the reason consignee shifted. You need to visit the nearest branch and submit request for updation of your latest mailing address in order to redirect the card on new address. Alternately you may submit address change request online.

                          Address updation through Netbanking :

                          Please follow the below steps to update the address through Netbanking:
                          Log in to your NetBanking account
                          Click on “Update contact details” on top of the page
                          Click on “Update address”
                          Click “Update” tab. You will be redirected to upload the self-attested scanned copy of document.
                          Update your address under "Address details"
                          Select the document type that you wish to upload from the drop down menu under "Address proof"
                          Click "+" and select the document
                          Click "upload"
                          Type the code shown in the box
                          Select "I/we confirm that we have read the Terms & conditions and that all details provided on the form are true & correct"
                          Click on "Submit"
                          Following are the documents that you can upload as Address Proof during the above procedure:

                          1) Passport
                          2) Driver License
                          3) Voter's Card
                          4) Aadhar Card
                          5) Central or State Government issued ID Card.

                          If the request / document is in order, the address would be updated in 2 working days.

                          I have not informed for the charges which are applied on my account. the total charge they applied is 2242.5 Rs. so I want my refund amount
                          My new debit card was not delivered in correct address which i have updated. While calling to customer care also call not connecting. I just want to know where my card was delivered.

                            Hi i am also facing the same problem my negative balance is 10, 000. I have given a request to close my salaried account in HDFC bank 3 years back and i am not using it also. yesterday i just checked the account statement and i was shocked to see the balance. What i have to do further please suggest, as i am not going to pay such a big amount. i joined in another organization where i opened salaried account in another bank after i left from there, they are not deducting any money as HDFC

                                V have paid entire emi on dec, 2016 and eventhough v have cleared the penal charges also but so far we didnt receive noc, this loan is dealing by such a worst person mr murli (Hdfc)-cont-[protected]) first of all he ll never pick call and if he picked ll say in this week u ll received, eventhough last week he gave mr vel no while we done enquiry he said instead of loan account no they sent receipt no for getting noc and same he communicated long back ago to mr murli but he is no more serious..

                                  My debit card was swiped for a transaction at a restaurant amounting to 4000 inr. But it was not successful, and the amount got deducted. Next morning i receive a message from the restaurant stating that the money has been reversed to my account. But it doesnt get reflected in my bank account. Its been 10 days from the incident but nothing is happening. The customer care executives cant give a proper solution to the problem, every time i call they come up with some stupid responses. Really disappointed to see this state of such a popular bank. Deductions happen within a minute but when it comes to reversing this takes an indefinite amount of time.

                                    I gave and application for opening of current account on the name of Kataria metal at HDFC bank Ltd, lord house, maharshi karve Marg, opp charni road station, Mumbai - 400004
                                    Before opening of company account I told them that it's very urgent and I need cheque book within 5days to apply for VAT TIN no and they agreed to do same.
                                    I have submitted all the documents on 18/04/2017 and address verification was also done on the same day.
                                    From last few days every day I am coming to bank and they are saying that Ac no is still not issued

                                    Please do the Needful on priority basis as all my work is stopped

I have bought a product on Amazon in Amazon festival offer and till yet waiting for cashback, as per amazon they have offer from 1 to 5th october 2016, and HDFC people are saying they have offer from 13 to 17 october 2016, and I got mail from amazon that they have processed my cashback and I forwarded same to HDFC, but still no resolution
