I have made payment for Term Insurance by HDFC life on 7th November 2016. Also, I have completed my medicals test on 19th November 2016. Even HDFC life has sent me a mail regarding completion of all documents. But till date, they have not issued term policy to me. I have sent many emails to HDFC life ( [protected]@hdfclife.in), but they always replied that your policy is in progress.
When I asked customer care executive about customer redressal forum of HDFC life, they even didn't provide me the details. Then I search it on google and find some email ID of escalations of consumer complaint about HDFC life. Even they didn't provide me any satisfactory answer. After dissatisfies with HDFC life services, Now I am writing them about on this website so that they can take action.

I have cleared medicals but also they cant issue policy.

    I am user of HDFC credit card from 2004. I have complaint with HDFC Bank All miles service provided for which I have suffered a loss of 17000 RS.

    I had converted my Reward 56000 point to allmiles Voucher . I booked two ticket on 11th JAN via your HDFCBANKALLMILES web site the transaction went thru and money debited via my all miles credit card for 4899 RS and 21200 odd figure Rs. I got email stating my first booking using my Voucher is on hold and second booking was successful which is for my wife who is temporary handicap and walking on crutches. I contacted all miles support immediately and was advised confirmation will come soon. the ate i booked was vsry imp to me as i need to be there on 13th FEB

    On 12th JAN I received email that my first booking was failure so again called up and assured it would be taken care by Ms Suman and booking will be reinstated. Al false assurance. I have recording for the same as proof

    On 13th JAN . Called Phone support first could not get thru as al line were busy. Call up Mumbai Credit card support and vented ny frustration who contacted all miles support and got a call back from them stating they are still checking with concern team and revert back. Day wasted with no reply

    On 14th Jan. Same story to get thru the Phone support. we could get any one for three hours finally. I got deepak from Phone support he said he is checking and all his manager were in meeting so no reply on Saturday. One more day wasted.

    On 15th Jan: Phone support is closed and no reply

    The best part of the story has to come.

    On 16th Jan. I started calling from 9:01 am the phone support but all line were busy till 12 pm I was trying. I called again Mumbai credit card support and they help me for a call back from Banglaore office I Presume where the All miles credit card support is located. Firstly MR Deepak called and assured he will revert back after checking.

    Then I get call from Mr Abhishek so called manager of Deepak. he was very polite and only kept telling me sorry for the inconvenience caused all the time. he had the guts finally to tell me thet HDFC cannot reinsate the ticket which had failed and reason was due to price diffference it did not go thru. I asked him one question if my first booking done was failure why did the second booking sucessful by paying 21000 odd figure go thru. Also ask for compensation which he clearly slapped on my face with the word NO. Nothing can be done.

    The new ticket rate had gone up from 19200 to 24800 RS. I trusted all miles and did the booking which fee was my biggest mistake. I asked to cancelled my wife ticket at no addtional cost as my wife cannot travel alone being handicap and no ticket was available on the same flight at economical cost. To my suprise Mr Abhishek so called manager advised me that I should contact Jet air way directly to cancel the ticket and get the cancellation charges from Jetairway. He could advise me All miles credit card cancellation charges will be 250 Rs. I asked him three time more, and advised him being my service provider for the booking doneyou should be calling jetairways. He flatly refused and asked me to contact Jetairway and provided me their toll free #.

    the Joke of the days is I called jet airways, they flatly refuse to help me and asked that All miles service provider has to call for cancellelation of ticket. again the same drill call All miles customer care which is pain. We were able tgte thru and Deepak who helped to cancel the ticket at cost of 5000 RS. Again ticket money will be credite back after 20 days hahahahahahhaha and my reward point back in credit card in 5 days hahaahahaha. I have the records for the conversation with all your excecutive and will uploaded on consure forum.

    From 12th JAN till 16th JAN only assurance was given and no resolution. Your[protected] Customer service phone service suck for three to 4 hours you are unable to get any one on the phone. Just hold and recorded message comes. I have wasted 5 days to get an answer for failure which was so simple to say that HDFC All miles cannot help you.

    This has cost me re booked my ticket at additional cost of 12000 Rs and 5000 cancellation charges. Pls give applause to the all miles customer support team and Manager Mr Abhishek. Also Increment of double salary should be given to them for providing timely resolution to customers. I ashamed to hold all Miles credit card of HDFC and will never use your service again.

    IF you have the courtesy pls compensate me my Cancellation charges and loss suffered re booking the ticket.

      On 11th January at 4:12 morning I got a message from bank that my card has been debited for rs 750.60 on Amazon prime membership. I never login to this site for months. I called the phone banker on same time and got my card blocked. Please give me the interim credit for that disputed amount. I have also sent emails with attached dispute forms to cc.[protected]@hdfcbank.com but got undelivered. I have sent the attachment from my office email address mukesh.[protected]@nttdata.com but never received any acknowledge of that.

        Dear Sir/Madam,
        This is regarding HDFC Bank Credit card unwanted charges taken from me till I got the settlement letter from bank, I need to highlight this case to top management that I have paid more than actual transactions done for my HDFC Credit card. As per mine calculation, i had almost paid the amount of mine usage but HDFC Bank credit card division has charged me more money that is unacceptable and I went through mental disorder phase in my life due to the extra-ordinary pressure built upon me by HDFC bank.

        My old credit card no.[protected] has been expired already on 31st Dec. 2015,

        1. and after that i had got the new card(I had requested new card into update my email id and address of office) with no.[protected] on 7th March 2016, which i had already sent with destroyed diagonally for closure of my credit card account.

        2. Since, 1st January 2016, I have not done any purchase/debit transaction from HDFC Credit Card{Not even from new HDFC card no.[protected], which I have already sent after destroyed it diagonally to Chennai HDFC Credit Bank Division on 4th April 2016—delivered at Chennai Credit Card Division on 5th April 2016.

        3. On 20th May 2016 in the evening around 5 pm, i had visited Bangalore Credit Card Division-Richmond Circle-Office and met with Manager personally, discussed with him for half an hour for the settlement of my credit card account and asked about the closure of my credit card, as per him the closure has to be done from Chennai office. i discussed with him that as per my calculation i will pay my purchase/debit done by me.

        4. On 2nd June 2016, HDFC Bank has debited Rs. 22800 against credit card payment from my salary account of HDFC Bank-A/C no.- [protected] due to which I went worst phase of my life and gone through mental pressure.

        5. Mail received from HDFC Bank that my credit card account has been closed on 16th April 2016 as per the letter I sent to Chennai HDFC Credit Card Division.
        6. On 30th Aug. 2016 I had done settlement with HDFC Bank to pay the amount Rs. 127900 due to too much mental pressure I had gone through by HDFC Bank-Credit Card Division. Till date I have paid 5 EMI for this settlement letter and am going through financial crisis due to this huge amount payment.
        Please take necessary legal action against Credit card Division-HDFC Bank and help me for the recovery of these unnecessary charges taken by HDFC Credit Card division till dated and HDFC Bank has spoiled my CIBIL record, HDFC Bank Credit card division has given me lot of mental torture and pressure and I am going through financial crisis and unable to recover for this unwanted charges payment against settlement as well as spoiling my financial academic record.. As per my calculation I have paid more than Rs. 1 Lac(Approx.—I have excel balance sheet available as well as monthly statements with me) to HDFC Bank against Financial charges, Late Fee & Service Charges etc. which is really very worst hidden policies of HDFC Cedit Card division.

          Hello sir

          On 18 of September 2018 I ordered some products on Amazon with my debit card of hdfc bank worth rupees 1397. The transaction was successful.
          After 2 days I Cancelled some part of the order and amazon refunded me 1218 rupees on 20 September..
          The money was expected to reflect in my account by or before 27 September.
          But I haven't recieved the money yet to my bank account.

            I was told while opening of this account that it will be free of cost and they have charged me Rs 862.50 on 16 jan2016 in the name of DEPOSITORY CHARGES without my knowledge.I have left the organisation and it's been 3+months i have done few deposit into this account and they charged a huge amount of Rs862.50 in the name of Depository charges. This comes under consumer harassment. Kindly help me to resolve this.

            This customer care is nothing but a bull #####, People dont think that writing here will solve you problem. Escalate to SEBI, NSDL, RBI and consumer FORUM against these Banks . They are shameless breed. I am victim of their Depositery charges. One interesting thing i noticed most of the complain for Depositery charges I found against HDFC only in this FORUM ? Looks lik HDFC is biggest looter for Depositery charges, surprising other Bank nameis not appearing that much. Unfortunately I have just Opened an account in HDFC for My wife that I am going to close immeditely now and definitely my own Demat and Saving account with HDFC, since last 10 years

              I have applied for home loan and it is approved too. while taking loan, they guided us very gently and informed that our loan is under floating mode and they promised that Rate of interest vary as per changes in roi.
              My current ROI is 11.55% which is very big amount, now am requesting them for conversion, they said its not possible for my account as its fixed ROI .

              They wrongly committed us and now they are not giving proper answer to us. Whenever i call they give me call center no which not connect. plz guide us and help me out.

                The interest rate with HDFC which is floating have not been reduced at all despite of RBI changes

                I called the HDFC call center today and they say its a technical problem due to which the interest rate is not reduced and will not happen till February 2017.

                Is this the way the bank runs?

                They are very much not ready to reduce the interest rate and cheating the customers

                  I am HariMohan Purwar. Already raised same concern 6 times through emails (recent - HDFCSL=[protected] and calls.
                  My previous policy 90012202, has been renewed to new policy 90369204 for which I never received any communication. Since October I am trying to make payment for renewed policy and connected with HDFC Life 5 times but every time being told a new process but nothing worked and unable to make payment even now, pls see the customer care - discussion trail below.
                  1. 11th Oct - unable to make payment against old policy no. I have been told new policy no generated and I will receive communication, never received any communication.
                  2. 28th Oct - again connected for same issue, new policy no. was given and being told the courier is on the way. Never received.
                  3. 10 Nov - no progress, I hv been told once letter with new policy no. is received, go to nearest HDFC Life branch to give application that you are alive and want to continue with policy.
                  4. 8 Dec - No letter received so Went to Jhansi branch and being told new policy is not active so can't take premium amount cheque and case will be transferred to Mumbai branch but no response received yet. I hv the receiving receipt for application from branch.
                  5. 3rd Jan - again connected customer care, being told you hv to deposit cheque by mentioning new policy no only than policy will be active. When spoken to Supervisor 'SHIVA' told no need to deposit any cheque, your existing policy will get renewed as it is, with new policy no. and I will confirm on premium front after 2 business days but never received a communication/call.
                  It's a painful that premium payment issue is not resolved in more than 3 months and no communication process is followed to provide timely update of concern raised neither by email nor through call. Not sure is there any SLA for support on call.
                  No productive response even after 6 days on Service request (recent - HDFCSL=[protected] raised through email.
                  Being senior citizen, feeling harassed with immense stress for not having existing health insurance renewed and living at risk.
                  Immediate resolution is expected to make new policy active with communication to make the payment.

                  Hi, please note that for the aforesaid policy, it is pending for the updation of the status in system. Due to certain technical upgradation process as per IRDAI's suggestion, it might take some time. Further, the response by our team will be given to at the earliest.

                  Thanks for the update. It has been more than 3 months now since the technical upgradation is in process and policy is not renewed. Is there any ETA for system upgrade. How much more time is required to renew the policy. What would happen if health issue arises and me as a senior citizen need to utilise insurance cover? How can customer be put on Risk for such a long time without a proactive resolution or clear communication? I really doubt if policy is going to be renewed after keeping me in hanging for > 3 months without a policy. Could you pls provide contact person email/phone no to whom I can escalate.

                  Hi, We have contacted Branch Manager, Civil Lines Branch, Jhansi (UP) and requested to activate the policy and take the premium through cheque but branch was unable to activate the policy. The status was 'Pending New Business'. Attaching the receipt received from branch on my application. Branch has informed that request will be sent to Mumbai branch to process it further and activate the same in the system.
                  I have also connected with call centre many times and Supervisor Mr. Shiva advised on 3rd Jan, no need to visit branch further as the policy will get activated in the system by operations dept than I would be able to pay premium online but no further update or confirmation. See attached and inform further course of action to make the payment.

                        I had updated my overseas mobile number before leaving india. It was updated wrongly by hdfc bank professional. Now, when i access the account, otp isnt sent as number is worng. When i call customer care, i am told that i need to go to the bank or atm. I am not in india. This is terrible customer experience. I have been an hdfc customer for 9 years now. But this is extremely poor service.

                        also bank officials not going to waive off the charge which is totally wrong,

                            Few months ago I have blocked my credit card but there was in emi and outstanding amount on card.
                            For November month the total outstanding balance was Rs.19514 which i cleared. Again in december month
                            statement i got emi amount payable. I assume total outstanding amount includes emi as well which i cleared already. Why again emi shown to be payable in statement. I tried to reach bank via email, phone banking etc but not able to reach

                                It is so unfair on the HDFC Bank that they do not have any easy way of approach by phone banking or email to address any issues. The phone banking is a trap, where, by the time you answer all those riddles you will get irritated to adjourn your problem. First and the foremost thing the HDFC Bank should do is a direct approach to the TeleCaller to address the issues.
                                Anyway, that is a suggestion given for their ease to avoid the consumer compIaints.
                                Now here is the problem that is bothering me, I have absolutely no information on this deduction DC INTL POS TXN MARKUP+ST[protected] of 5, 604.77 and 4, 063.47 on Jan 13th 2017. I do not live in India to walk over the bank to ask for the reason and give them time to resolve the issues. I do not use my International debit card for any transaction in US too.
                                The bank is updated with my India number which I do not use now for several reasons. I would want them to update my US number and inform me on the refund status. The number is as is +[protected].
                                Kindly refund both the deductions ASAP.

                                      My account is in the hdfc bank, first mall, the mall, ludhiana branch.

                                      I can log in successfully to my hdfc account successfully. However, after logging in i fail to do anything.

                                      I can’t see even last two transactions undertaken.

                                      I can’t even book fd online.

                                      My broker fail to transfer funds to my account. As per broker, fund transfer request is rejected by hdfc bank.

                                      I have making this complaint online for last one month by email, phone banking and even visited four times to above mentioned branch of hdfc bank and showed the problem (On laptop) to dealing hand there. But my problem is not solved.

                                      Such a low level of service was never expected from hdfc bank.

                                        I am Shivaram K and I bought my first CIBIL report on 10 Oct 2016 and found that score was 604 after the thorough check at report I got to know that the credit card of HDFC is not updated in CIBIL. I was using the HDFC credit card since 2011 and I had credit history with HDFC more than any other card.
                                        I have reported the same with HDFC by mailing them immediately and after so many reminders they have updated me that my credit card has been updated in their records also in CIBIL on 17 Dec 2016.
                                        I have taken CIBIL report on 09 January 2017, shockingly HDFC credit card was not updated again.
                                        Due these grave negligence’s from HDFC bank, my applied personal loans have been rejected which was again affected negatively in CIBIL and moreover on my personal life.
                                        Just to mention here, every CIBIL report costs me 550/ each to check whether its been updated or not does HDFC bank pays me this money?
