Hi, I have an account with HDFC bank. I failed to pay an EMI on 5th march as my account was not funded however I had paid the emi on 7th march. They had levied a late fine of Rs.649 on month of April's EMI. My EMI without late fine is Rs. 1843.45. When I went to make the payment it showed me the Rs. 1843.45 as the minimum due amount and I paid the same. I wasn't aware that a late fine was charged and there was no intimation of the same. They made my account go to a negative balance which was also not intimidated. My friend had sent me Rs. 608 on 9th april 2022 so that I can buy him few things he needed. HDFC bank put that amount on hold instantaneously. When I complained about the same, a supervisor said that they will get the late fees reversed for Rs. 550 and the cannot reverse Rs. 99 as that is GST. He also mentioned once the late fees is reversed the hold amount will also get unholded. The reversal of late fees happened on 13th April 2022. I waited for 2 days and called back the customer care on 15 th april to see why the account is still on hold. The agent informed that the complaint is still under process and that by 18 th april the amount should be unholded, which did not happen. I again called them on 19th april 2022 and a supervisor named Seema said that there is no complaint raised to unhold the amount and that she will get the issue resolved on priority. I received a callback from them on 20th april and another rep informed that they will first get a confirmation that I paid the late fees and then only they will unhold the money. Now my question here is why will I pay the late fees if it has already been reversed. And if the late fees was reversed on 13th april, why does the agent who called me on 20 th april said that they will only release funds once they get a confirmation I have paid the late fees. It has been more than 15 days that they are playing with my money and my time. I would request you to escalate the matter as in this way they are cheating on my hard earned money. I want a compensation for the issue I had faced because the HDFC bank agent was bluffing with me that there was a complaint already open since 9th april to get my account unholded. I have all the call recordings for all my calls made to the bank. My complaint no. With HDFC bank is Kolc[protected]. Customer ID:[protected].

I want a compensation for all the hassles I went through. Trusting on the agent's words, I promised to buy my friend the important stuffs I needed. I failed to keep my words to him because of the bank rep bluffing me. They were not able to understand my query and kept passing the issue like a ping pong ball.

      Account blocked due to undelivered welcome kit. I went to bank last Saturday, bank said that your account will active in 2 days .But account did not active . So I went to bank today bank employee said that it will be activate in 2hr but it is not active till now.Account no. [protected]. Very bad experience.

        Dear HDFC,

        I have withdrawn Rs. 4000 worth of 'W' outlet vouchers by redeeming 16000 points accrued from my credit card spendings. These vouchers were delivered on 13-Dec-21 and they will expire on 26-04-22.
        I have since gone to multiple 'W' exclusive outlets to redeem these vouchers, but the vouchers failed to work every single time. I raised multiple complaints regarding this through phone calls to [protected]...

        I need to know the status of my account, i visited the home branch last week they informed me to connect with the people with whom i m in connect for Credit Card & Loan settlement. When i connected with Settlement people they just told me they have sent email to lien department after 48hrs it will solved to check the status again you need to visit the home branch.
        Home branch is very far from my place, so can you pls help me to know the status of my account.

          I am filing this complaint against HDFC bank who charged AMB deductions despite me maintaining suggested minimum balance in my account.

          I need this money to be refunded / deposited into my account at the earliest.

          I saw the same complaints raised way back in 2014 and also a notification by RBI regarding the same.

              Dear Team,
              I have submitted my all original physical document on 28th March.
              They all are sending only reminder for original document which is already submitted by me.
              I observe that customer care also irresponsible.
              I called him on regular basis and response given below:
              1) Tell me claim id- I Think this is priority for identification.
              2) Your claim has been approved on basis of digital copy now need of Physical document- Already provided same docs which I have uploaded with POD number(). Many time I have raised same answer.
              3) Escalating your query to higher authority- I heard n number of times same answer but still not escalation happened. If happened then why I have to tell about all above things.
              4) Transferring your call to Seniors- Dear Team just check my details how many times they have disconnected my phone before transferring.

              Company is big and this is also tie-up with my Company HDFC Life.
              Sorry to say but all are doing only time pass.
              45 days passed and Still my query not resolved.
              Clapping/Salute J for your service.
              1st time in my life m seeing very Cheap service from Medi assist.
              Team please maintain your Brand.

                    I have opened the salary account in HDFC Bank, after some days I have received the SMS that your welcome kit is not delivered,

                    after that they reattempted to deliver it but somehow they can not delivered it.
                    now I got the message that the welcome kit is received by the bank itself. so how can I get it delivered at my address and make sure the delivery partner contact me when they will deliver it to me or my family member.

                      Dear team,
                      I am having a credit card of hdfc bank ending with ***5546 .Due to some medical emergency frm last few months i was little late in payment of card bill in last month .

                      Then i was charged unethically from a amount of more then 5000/- inr without any prior communication in last last month bill .This month approx inr 25000 inr is deducted from my account and it is showing in negative billing of 25000 inr .

                      This is even doubble of my lonthly income .
                      How you guys can loot on name of charges without intimating customer .
                      I called customer case and visited to branches but no responce provided .
                      Now from last 5 days i am receiving threating and vulgurs call from your unetical Gang of Goons .Guys are talking in very abusive and torturing way without any support for billing issuesabd i am having recored proofs of all .

                      I am writing mail to inform me what kind of charges levied and how u can levy without information or any written communication .

                      Please call back and revert charges so that i can regularise my card elsewise i am going to let you guys led down in consumer district court and not going to pay by harrsing me to pay such unethical charges .

                          Have to reset my net-banking pin. There are 2 options :

                          1) registered number + debit card — i can't use this because i dont have valid debit card now

                          2) registered number + e-mail : now the problem is 3 digit otp comes to the registered number but the email never arrives, i dunno why is it happening.

                              I am Ashish Makhijani, I had car loan from HDFC Bank My loan account number is[protected],
                              I have settled and paid whole amount against my loan .I have settled my account with Rs 1, 25, 000.I was informed that after doing payment within 8-12 days I'll receive NOC from bank, it's almost a month now ..I have not received my NOC... Kindly look into the matter and provide me NOC super soon .
                              On 10th January - 2022, Your Executive - Mr Mittu And Mr Pranav Shah came to my home for Pending Emi for my car loan, I told them I want to settle my account and close the account.I informed him that I have HDFC Credit card, he said don't worry I will settle both the accounts.
                              Than after confirming, he confirmed me that I have to pay Rs 1, 25, 000 and he will settle both my account and provide me NOC,
                              When I got confirmation call from HDFC Bank, they told me..when you will pay for credit card also..than only you will get NOC, than I again approached Mr Mittu and Mr Pranav Shah for the same...they assured me and said don't worry...you pay Rs 1, 25, 000 and we will get you NOC for both the accounts it's our guarantee.Its been almost 2 months I have paid Rs 1, 25, 000 and I have still not got NOC...Your Executive mis guided me and cheated me this way...I do have proofs of chat...
                              I can viral it on social media - Twitter, Grahak shuraksha, etc that how HDFC executives are doing fraud with customers

                              I Need it very urgently..please help with your best as soon as possible.

                              Kindly help me with NOC soon...

                                My name is Goutham. I have been getting calls from the HDFC bank representatives pressurizing me to take their credit card and personal loans. Even though my phone number is on do not disturb list it seems to have no value. The call centre team from HDFC are continuously calling and disturbing. Hence I request you to look into this matter as soon as possible.
