I have been issed two credit cards. The limit shown in the documents is 40, 000 for one card and 40, 000 for other.
However, the bank claims that this is not the actual limit. The limit I have been given is only 40, 000 for both the cards.
This is a fraud and I want the limit that is reflecting on my documents.
I also want to file a case against HDFC for not responding to my emails and fooling me around.

    I had opened a saving account ([protected]) with hdfc bank, old airport road, bangalore which i was used as salary account. Since i stopped working, i had not maintained the minimum balance 10000 inr in an account. They started charging penalties in my account and it went to minus - 6500 inr as on feb-2016. I had visited the bank in feb-2016 and requested them to reverse it, so that i can start maintaining the minimum balance.

    They asked me to pay 1000 inr and i paid it. They charged this 1000 inr as penalty changes for jan-15, feb-15 and sep-15. Then they took 1 month time and reversed -5500 inr.

    My account was showing the balance as 0, 00 inr after reversal. Then later i have deposited the minimum balance of 10000 inr and then suddenly on the second day of my deposit, they charged total - 6250, 23 inr as a penalty from apr-2015 to mar-2016 for not maintaining the minimum balance. This is ridiculous.

    I went to bank and informed this. He said it should had not been charged and he is not aware of it too. Then he said it may not be possible to revere the complete amount which was charged, hence he may try for 60% amount to reverse.

    In may-2016, they again charged 687 inr as a penalty for apr-2016, since the account went to low balance after their charges of 6250, 23 inr. What is this?. I had maintained 10000 as minimum balance and it went to low balance of 4248, 27 inr, due to the charges you debited. For that also, how can you charge?. I was actually waiting for reversals, otherwise i would had maintained the minimum balance.

    Is this the way you (As a bank) cheat the customer?. How the customer believes you to continue further. You might have millions of customers worldwide, but you had started already loosing the customers day to day by cheating like this.

    Now i got charged with the total amount of 7937, 23 inr (1000 + 6250, 23 + 687) as a penalties from jan-15 to apr-16. As i believed you and maintained the minimum balance, i kindly request you to please reverse the complete amount of 7937, 23 inr.

        Fuel Surcharge on my account

        Hi,

        Without my authorization, HDFC Bank has deducted a Fuel Surcharge from my account. I filled in Petrol from HP Petrol Pump, Bavdhan, Pune, on April 28th 2016, amounting to INR 1850/- however, my account has shown an illegal transaction of additional Fuel Surcharge, which I have not authorized for, amounting to INR 52.96/-.

        This is not authorized by me & yet the bank has denied to take the complaint. br...

        I have HDFC life policy on my credit card in the month of September 2015. I have lost my card so i blocked my card immediately. Now i dont want any policy. I have contacted the hdfc customer representatives but it is of no use. My policy no. is 90164488.

          Why are you accruing negative balances in my savings account when rbi has strictly ordered against it? And you openly claim in the press that you aren't doing so? You are lying and plundering customers like me. Isn't this illegal? You're a bank and you're not following rbi guidelines? Horrible.

          I have mentioned my account number above. I believe, this account has been closed recently after i made a deposit of 2374 rs to offset some of the negative balance. I need these 2374 rupees back. I can be reached out at +91-[protected]

          There was a deposit made at the time when negative balances were accrued. I need that amount back as well, as I lost that money in the adjustment against the negative balance.

              I received a letter dated April 2016 recently from HDFC Credit card department mentioning about my inability to pay sum of Rs ~9000 and upcoming legal action for the same. The letter did not carry full credit card number for me to follow up.

              I had closed by account, last interaction was on Dec 31 2009, last payment was Rs 2000 from my side, to the satisfaction of the bank.

              There has been no communication since in last 7 years, except for this surprise letter I received few weeks back.

              I tried calling numbers listed and since the letter did not have credit card number details, the details had to be obtained based on my cell phone number ([protected]) and a complaint case was filed by me as L2 Grievance (Case Number [protected]). The person taking complaint agreed that there has been no interaction with me in last 7 years and that last payment from me was on Dec 31 2009 for Rs 2000. The person mentioned the bank may not have closed the card account, hence such letter,

              Can you kindly stop playing such pranks with your customers? My experience with HDFC has been utmost unsatisfactory and I have not dealt with this bank for last 7 years. Kindly conclude this case and apologise for such blunders.

                  This is to informing all the customer of hdfc bank who holds an account and opened a demat acount. I noticed that in may 2016 rs. 78.19/- had been auto deducted from my salary account. When i wrote an email to the concern department through internet banking on the same. They replied that the charges have been charged folio manitanance charges for using demant account. I remember that once i had applied for a credit card of hdfc bank that time the representative/executive forcing me to apply for a demat account with no charges on open. But, he didn't tell all these charges regarding annual charges and that should like based on your transactions you made in particular year. Suppose, if you can make transactions level 1 (1-10) then charges will be applied up to (550 - 750 plus) and level 2 (10-25) then you will be charged (300 rs) and the last level 3 (25 plus) if you have done in that time frame of a year (100 rs). See here, how the bank is exploiting the customers here.

                  This is always unfair and is not acceptable at all. So, people please be aware of from bankers. They always want to earn money from the poor people / middle class people in such kind of ways. They never care about the richest people because they don't have guts to face them and that bloody people have influence of politicians to restrict the bank people. This is why india is not becoming the good country.

                  I will definitely close my account if my debited balance will not be recovered. There are many other banks which provides more affordable facilities compare to your bank. When customers asks any questions to the bank. Then bank should reply in a polite way, not arrogantly.

                  Again, all of you my friends don't betrayed by the banks in the future. You can't believe the representatives/executives more importantly. They prooven that they are really broker of the banks. Cheaters, etc.

                      My self NAKIB UDDIN AHMED, already two personal loan (HDFC ) is running, one is - (Rs- 106000) & one is (Rs-54000) but I have applied online for personal loan ( Top up ) against 1.06 for purpose house renovation (Ref no is[protected] . Already 5th EMI paid against 1.06 laks. and 1 EMI paid against 54000.

                      After one day ( 1st calling date is - 09.05.16 & time is - 12.35 p.m ) calling from hdfc bank for personal loan related calling name Madhumita, calling from no is[protected] and her personal no is -[protected]- She tell me also she said i 99% sure i provided your personal loan, also document verification & telephonic verification is complete then no any information from bank side .

                      Today (14.05.16 ) i call to hdfc bank loan dept. for verify applied loan status
                      he said your applied personal loan is reject.

                      Sir my request is i want know - she ( Madhumita ) when know customer not eligible loan for this time so why she asure to me ???????

                      So please see the matter & arranged my personal loan

They have also wrote end use letter from there side and even they did my signature on the letter .                         Dear team,

                        I got call from[protected]HDFC CRRDIT CARD) at 1.10PM. Caller confused me about for what reason he called me. I had taken a Health insurance from HDFC.
                        He told me I have a Accidental policy also, Did I got the card for that ?
                        I replied no and I don't know about Accident policy, Is it free ?
                        He replied with other offer of new PIN based card.
                        I told I know that secure system I will do that after few days but is that Accident policy free. He does not replied clearly and confused me telling separate things. I asked him can u tell me your purpose to call me. He was then angry & told its worst talking customer like me.

                        I am HDFC credit card customer from last 6 year & very happy from HDFC service. But I am very embarrassed by this call.
                        I don't have account in HDFC and was thinking to start account, Enquiry was done by me in SAKCHI JAMSHEDPUR branch, But if this type of behave will done then I have switch to other bank.

                        I request HDFC Senior team to teach how talk to a old customer. I request please arrange calls from any experienced employees.

                            In the month of february 2016, we opted for hdfc prepaid forexplus card to travel to dubai. As part of the regular procedure we provided return flight tickets for purchasing the card, clearly indicating the travel dates.

                            On 22nd feb 16, hdfc had a planned downtime and this was not informed to us when purchasing the card. This led to rejection of our transactions at various outlet in dubai. As this was the only card we carried currency acceptance in dubai. This lead to lot of mental and physical hardships in a foreign country.

                            We would request you to take this matter seriously with hdfc bank so no other tourist will face such situations in future.

                            Additionally would like to demand for compensatory benefits from hdfc bank for its irresponsible attitude towards customers.

                              My salary account is with HDFC BANK, and I use their netbanking services. But while trying to make payments, OTP required for making payment is not sent to my phone and hence could not make payments. I could not book my train tickets couple of times because of the same.Please make sure OTP is sent within required time period or else please disable OTP atleast in cases of railway ticket booking

                                Hi my salary account has been blocked by Hdfc credit card department. i have made my minimum payments and the reason for delay was that i was not getting paper statements after changing my billing address from Gurgoan to Hyderabad.i changed my adress before coming to hyderabad with the customer service people and even updated my telephone no with them. but they failed to send my statements nor could send me any reminders and hece i missed two payments in a row and the bank blocked my savings account. when i came to know this i went to the bank and made my payment immediately.its now 7 days my salary account is still blocked. please help me out here and please unblock my money which is 22300 rs . please call me at my new no [protected].                                   This is to inform you that my late father had took a home suraksha plus policy from hdfc ergo general insurance co. Ltd. My father passed away lasr year on 10th of march, 2015 after some time when it came to my knowledge that he had took a policy agian loan from hdfc ltd. I raised a claim and send all the relevant documents necessary and the documents which i had with me to their registered office in mumbai i clearly mentioned that it is a case of brought death as i took my father to nearby hospital (Pushpanjali cross lay hospital vaishali sector-1, gzb) the doctor said he is no more and the cause of death is heart attack as the doctor didn't gave me any hospital documents but i have death certificate i called hdfc ergo many times mailed them but on their behalf the reply was always the same that they cant do anything without hospital documents and in the last they also repudiated my claim. I also told them that am not financially sound therefore i was not able to repay the instalment amount which is 22000/- approx/month. We are going through a very tough situation as the certain demise of my father had left my family in a very sad and lonely situation. I also tried to raise a complaint in irda but that didn't worked also their stand still remains the same that they are not willing to clear the claim.
                                  I just want to say you mr. Naresh ji that if a person took a insurance policy his or her thinking is that in future their family would not face any financial issues or difficulties if anything happens to him but what is the actual situation that is very different from my point of view after i had seen all this. With due respect i am sending you this mail and assuming that you will help me in this as the claim is my right to receive hoping a handful help from your side i am sending you this mail it would be very kind i[censored] could help me in that.

                                    I have attended hdfc interview a couple of months back. They have confirmed that i have been selected for the role and soon hr formalities will be taken care of. The hr had dragged the process for almost two months. He used to ask pay slips, online hr ports updation, some psychometric test, photos, relieving letter, salary hike negotiation etc taking 5 or 6 days for each thing. I stopped receiving mails and calls from the hr guy for a couple of weeks. When i enquired by call got to know that he has resigned and dropped my case stating salary negotiation negative and even even the current hr is negligent enough and said that she cant be any help and is not a mistake from their end. She even became furious on why i went to enquire with the regional head at the branch where i was interviewed who thought that it was me who ignored the opportunity for salary negotiation. He even mailed to resume my case but my case was already dropped and managerial positions were already finalized.. She doesn't want the blame to be on hr end so she just gave some cock and bull story and made leave for then. I'm now nomore interested to follow up for the job like a kid at a candy store. I felt deceived and decided never to join hdfc even in the future prospects

Two days ago i met mr amit sehgal branch incharge he listen my problem & his rm mr nitin refuse me to refund minimum balance charges and ask me to close your all accounts bank can't bother. This is my humble request to you kindly refund me deducted charges.
