I got a call from hdfc credit card an year before. I said i dont want credit card, but that lady humbled and said she will get money if she sell the card. Then i heard the pros and cons over the credit card. She said "its free credit card and no annual charge". So i accepted. An year gone, then i received monthly statement with annual year fee. Then i called to hdfc customer care, they said that is chargeable card. After fight they said they are taking complaint then they said i no need to pay annual fee, it will get reverse by next month statement. So i didnt pay for that, remaining amount i paid it. But next month statement also annual fee was there. Again i called and explained the scenario they said they are taking complaint again and no need to pay annual fee. But surprisingly next month statement i got annual fee with interest they added.

I called and shouted then they said i need to pay annual fee then they will cancel the extra fee. I was helpless, if i wouldn't pay annual fee again i will get interest. So i paid it. But next month statement i got the interest amount alone. I was hopeless and i paid everything. And i called to hdfc and said cancel my card since no pending charges with me.

Now they are saying i need to write a letter and i need to hand it over to any bank or any atm center or i need to courier it.

Please guys this hdfc bank is pakka fraud bank, they want to sell their product and wont give any customer service at any cost.

    For any deduction bank needs notification from rbi. Hdfc has to provide notification of rbi or else it has no rights to deduct such amount. Even hdfc has no sham to to say it as "a nominal charge". In a year it will be 400 + tax. Why a customer has to bear this. If bank needs more business they have provide facility. But not on customer's cost. I have also charged by same amount for "programmanagement fee jan-mar16 230316". In a year never any rm had call me for any purpose. Even today on 04/04/2016 i called twice rm but he had no curtsy to call back. So what purpose the bank is charging. Just for profit making only... Please credit the same to my account or else so me the type of account in which such charges are not levied.

      Do not call registration

      I have done 3 times do not call registration (2 in jan 2016 and one today i.E. 4 april 2016) for not to get any sms, promotional mailers of my hdfc credit card. But still i am receiving. The form do not give any request number after registration as attached in the image. Just they write "thank you for sharing your preferences with us. Please give us 45 days from the day we receive this request to action the same".

      HI Sir,

      I have issue with HDFC bank credit card debt management team ([protected]@[protected], she is in HDFC Delhi Office Branch), she is so much rude whenever she want she can hangup the call in-between talk and she is not ready to give me the account statement and not ready to talk over the email. I simply asked her to share the details for my account where I have used my credit card which went to beyond 5000. And every-time I am getting calls from different-2 HDFC bank employee (Gaurav-[protected] and Pankaj-[protected]) and they misguide.


      I need simple thing, whatever is pending with me, I will pay and whatever pending with HDFC bank (my reward points), bank need to pay me as that is my money.

      According to my understanding, I have payed around 6700 in last month of credit card and after that I have used only 282 something rupees from the card, but when I went to pay that amount from netbanking, it started showing me zero. So I have requested customer care executive to close and and updated my number, but anyhow I did not receive any call. But after 7 months I got a call from HDFC and they are asking me to pay around 5000, so I asked them to share the final 2 months statement, so that we can come with the actual amount or if I am missing anything, so that concern can be sorted out. But HDFC bank is not ready to share anything, only want me to pay 5000 without any proper information.


      Please help me out with this issue as I am employee and pay my taxes on time. But these HDFC bank peoples are making my life hell.

          But while making payment premium was showing 10700 rs and i spoke to customer care they said we dont give complete premium charges it was not as [per your policy zero dep renewal amount you have to pay what is showing on payment gateway what stupid system is this i request to all not to take this policy they are such cheaters.

                I am holding a NRE account and Nothing such facilities are/were provided to me and without my written confirmation bank are not supposed to deduct any amount.
                This is a clear cut disagreement in my terms. I feel cheated in this regards.
                Rs 100 may be "nominal charge" for HDFC bank, but for us it represents substantial amount of money. If it is nominal then I request the Bank to bear that charge from its deep pockets.

                      I noticed that hdfc bank has charged programme management fees to my savings account when my account even does not match the given criteria for being treated as a preferred customer. Further, they have sent no notification to me for upgrading me as their preferred customer. And when i asked them about degrading the status of my account, they say i have to visit the nearest branch for the same. I am calling their rm for last few days & yet no response. The bank has just ended up causing me inconvenience.
                      They have also been charging me for the neft transactions i do. If am a preferred customer & they charge me for the same, then why do they charge for my neft transactions too. Am very disappointed with the services of hdfc bank, especially for their poor customer support after raising a complaint. When i try to trace my complaint status with the reference number they had given me, it says that my reference number cannot be traced & i have to reach a nearest branch.
                      Am going to close my account with this bank as they simply focus on charging me fees for which i am not entitled to pay. And also am planning to file a complaint with the rbi regarding the same.

                      Am very pleased and satisfied with the response of the HDFC Bank & their Customer Support. I mailed to the email address given in this forum and also raised a complaint in their official website. I got response within reasonable time (within 72 hours). Mr. Nilesh Gawde, explained me the details of the charge & also accepted my request to reverse the charges. I also got a call from the Bank intimating me about the reversal of these charges. My sincere thanks to the Customer Support of the Bank.

To my utter surprise I can see that the HDFC bank has deducted Rs. 114.5 from my account under the name- Program management fee. What is this fee about? What is the program the bank is offering? The bank did not notify me earlier about any such fees. I did not opt for any service, hence to deduct customer's money without taking their concent is unlawful. I want this so called fee deposited back to my account forthwith with compensation as they failed to give proper reply to my phone call made to them seeking explanation.

                      Hi Anay,

                      Just to inform you the Relationship Manager that you have mentioned in your mail has not picked up the call when tried and after several attempts her associate received the call and assured me of conveying her my message and arrange a callback for me. As of yet none from your dedicated Relationship manager, Nitha, cared to clarify my concerned query over phone. No SERVICES as mentioned by you have been availed by me during my 4 long years of sweet association with you.

                      It is also clear from your reply mail that you have deliberately EVADED my points raised before you point-wise as to why I was not intimated beforehand when all contacts details were there with you? Why you have not followed the protocol before debiting/deducting the amount from my account and whether I am interested to go forward with these changes or status of the account.

                      I am NOT satisfied with your reply and SERVICES and would like to approach proper/competent/appropriate FORUM for compensation, if required, if you don't refund back my money debited which was arbitrarily and unlawfully deducted by you in the pretext of CLASSIC CUSTOMER.

                      I would therefore urge you to settle my account with you by refunding my monies unlawfully deducted by you and degrade my status from so called CLASSIC CUSTOMER to ordinary customer and let me know the procedure to close my account with you forthwith as I have several fixed deposits with you.

                      Thanks a lot for your arbitrary action without customers' consent for upgrading ordinary customers to CLASSIC CUSTOMERS and then in the NAME OF SERVICE deducting/debiting monies from us.

                        I have used last 5 years HDFC credit card. Unfortunately myself some of the financial problems there. Last 2.5 years I have paid-up Minimum dues, financial charges, late payment charges, over due charges and Tax also.

                        Card Limit is Rs. 25000/-

                        But I have paid Last 2.5 years Rs. 21000/- for Minimum dues, Financial charges, Late payment charges, Over due charges and Tax also. After that i have go for settlement amount Rs. 21200/-.

                        Card Num: ************** 6321

                        I called so many times to customer services. I request settlement, they said not giving for Rs. 25000/- settlement. Every month paid-up Minimum dues, Financial Charges and Tax total amount is Rs. 21000/- paid-up.

                        My salary account HDFC directly my blocked and take my salary HDFC, No intimations for me.

                        Customer services and Executive I mentally collapsed trying Up-Normal condition situation created. If anything happened for me, full reason HDFC credit card divisions and HDFC Bank.

                        Nowadays HDFC Bank heavy mentally Touchier everyday called so much of pressures and my health also problem tress.

                        It will any happened full response for HDFC Bank.

                        I have recorded every time ask about credit payment.

                        I got settlement amount is Rs. 21, 100/- On 24th May-2016, but already paid-up Rs. 16, 450/- They are told next month salary fully getting HDFC without settlement. That's why getting go for settlement, they are creating big issue will happened for feature about loans and everything. plug with check leaf of amount in 21, 100/- I'm really saying MAR to APR my account holding so many bounds there especially loan amounts only they are charged Rs. 1260/- penalty, loan amounts also I didn't late payment on MAR to APR regularized every month On 4th day paid Loan No. 23239648 Please revised my loan extra payment charge Rs. 1260/- Thank you..

                        I have so many problems with HDFC Bank last six months. Again, again problem creating HDFC Bank for my Account. So much of amounts paid Check Bounds. This month beginning showing the minus value in my account balance, after that salary credited that amount not adjusted of minus value of amount Rs. 200/-.

                        I have paying my Insurance and ECS amounts regularly debiting in my account, having of sufficient amount in my account but showing the main balance and ledger balance different amount showing there. ECS not regularized this month.

                        Every months anything Issue creating them self, i'm mentally dis appointed.

                        Why this kind of Issuance with my account status please resolve ledger balancing amounts.

                          Bank executives are explaining for what reason it is deducting and they not explaining why it is not informed to the customers. HDFC bank started these kind cheap things now a day. HDFC should tell the reason why this is not informed to the customer earlier. Moreover HDFC bank telling "host of exclusive privileges" they are not giving it for maintaining small amount like 1, 000 as minimum balance. Already they charged for alert messages. Last year also they hiked the locker fee without any information. Please reply properly.

                              I have a classic saving account in Hdfc bank. At the time of opening account they notify me that no charges are applicable for classic customer but now they deducted 114.5 rs for so called programme management fees. When contacted with branch they said extra facility is provided with it like credit card or demat account. But I am not availing this facility nor I want it. This is fraud and I want my money back.

                                I have an account previously it was salary account later bank converted it into the savings account and since last one year i am not using the account, now i logged in and saw that the balance is -5000. according to RBi policy bank should not let customer's account balance go negative, according to RBI bank should inform customers about this and limit the services related to the bank account but balance can not go in negative. I did not get any sms or email regarding this.

                                  Hello Team,

                                  I have taken two personal loan from HDFC Bank.
                                  Loan no : 28091125 at interest rate of appox 14%.
                                  I have paid 22 EMI till now. I could see in Capgemini Office Bangalore, HDFC guys are offering loan at 12.75%.

                                  I also paying approx 15% interest on other loan : 31330467.
                                  My wife also paying same amount of interest, loan : 28031298, 30851188.

                                  You can see I am paying lots of interest for the loan. Kindly provide some concession on interest please.
                                  Kindly reassess this request and provide some concession on loan interest.

                                      I am having a regular saving account with HDFC. I can see that the HDFC bank has deducted Rs. 114.5 from my account under the name- Program management fee. What is this fee about? What is the program the bank is offering? The bank did not notify me earlier about any such fees. It is a fraud to deduct customer's money without taking their concerns. I want this so called fee deposited back to my account.

I want this amount refund in my account.
                                      A Program Management Fee of Rs 114.50 has been deducted from my account on 28 March 2016. I called customer service, they informed me, its a preferred customer fee as this is an Classic account.

                                      When the account was opened in Classic portfolio, it was informed that minimum amount of balance has to be maintained in saving to avail the facilities and no additional charges will be there. How can bank change the policy just like day over night and null its own commitments. The accounts are in classic portfolio as per terms and conditions opening the account, you can not do just like that without informing customer and taking consent.


                                      I expect you will revert me asap.

                                      For any deduction Bank needs notification from RBI. HDFC has to provide notification of RBI or else it has no rights to deduct such amount. Even HDFC has no sham to to say it as "A nominal charge". in a year it will be 400 + tax. Why a customer has to bear this. If bank needs more business they have provide facility. But not on customer's cost. I have also charged by same amount for "PROGRAMMANAGEMENT FEE JAN-MAR16 230316". In a year ever any RM had call me for any purpose. Even today on 04/04/2016 I called twice RM but he had no cursty to call back. So what purpose the bank is charging. Just for profit making only...

                                      Dear HDFC bank - I see you have mentioned about a host of exclusive privilege offered and hence charging 114.5 as program management fee quarterly (458 yearly).

                                      As a classic salary account holder, i have read about the privileges and did approach the bank for issuing a locker to me. A request was duly taken and an entry created in a log book. I was told that i am in queue and shall be contacted as soon as the next set of lockers are available. However i kept on hearing about the queue whenever i inquired about the status. On hearing about the dedicated relationship manager, i did reach out to him and learned that the locker can be issued immediately if i am willing to purchase a life insurance policy where annual premium is more than 25K per year.

                                      After waiting for 2 years and learning about the life insurance requirement for getting a locker issued, i have approached a nationalized bank and have obtained a locker facility within a months time. I have transferred my salary account to the nationalized bank and am quite impressed on how customer friendly they are these days.

                                      As you have started charging 458 yearly for the dedicated services I shall visit the branch early next week and shall request for closing my account.

We want to know if this was going to happen than why didn't your bank notified any of there customer about it so that poor people can close there account before that deduction. We people deposit our money in bank to save it and get interest not to pay you for your convenience. While opening account you don't mention any such terms and conditions. If is to be done than you should apply these only to your new customers not your old valuable customers. We want our valuable money back. there is a value of every amount in our life. To my shock again on 15-Oct-2016 another Rs 115 has been deducted towards Program management fees. Its been almost more than two months since my RM called me. Please credit my amount ASAP. I was not at all informed earlier about this via phone call.

                                      Rs.115 was deducted my hdfc bank savings account a week ago as program management fee. I was never informed about this fee when privilege membership was offered. This is very unfortunate that customers are tricked with a free upgrade and taking money from them after three months without any notice.

                                      I have no need for services offered to privilege members. Hence, I would like to continue with ordinary account and have the fees returned back.

                                      I dont understand why REPUTED banks do this and erode their long earned TRUST.

                                      Better to stick to govt. banks. I have an account with SBT and I have never had this kind of "cheating " experience.

                                      Ask the bank to reverse the charges or tell them you are going to close the account.
                                      That is what I am going to do.
                                      I think all the customers should take this action.
                                      Next time, the bank will think twice before levying such charges.

Others banks are offering similar services or even better for no extra fees.

                                      HDFC has to reverse everyone's so-called Programme Management Fee.
                                      hdfc is a useless bank. Their customer services are poor and on top of that their charges are exorbitant.
                                      Now they have also started adding stealth charges like one people have described above.
                                      HDFC has put me into their program without my explicit permission and has charged me Rs. 115 on the 19th of May 2017. Today they put me into an Rs. 100 OPT out program without for explicit consent, tomorrow they may put me into another OPT out program of Rs. 100000 without my explicit consent as well.

                                      Why are SHAMELESS Employees of the bank continuing with such banks? It is because the employees continue with such Banks SHAMELESSLY the banks are able to do these?
                                      HDFC bank has deducted Rs. 114.5 from my account under the name- Program management fee. What is this fee? Why bank was deduct the amount without any confirmation form the customer. Also I don't have a Locker and no any Loans and Cards, If this amount is deducted because of dedicated Relationship Manager- I don't needed for this.
