I have started HDFC Life Classic Assure Plus Plan on 12th June 2013 which has Premium paying term 7 years and Policy term 15 years. POLICY NO 16115360.After paying premium for 2 years I didnot pay the premium on 3rd year due to financial crisis with assumption that policy will be marked as PAID-UP and I can take back my money after 15 years.However I found the after greace period the policy marked as LAPSED.As per the policy document I can see that if premium paying term is 7 years then after 2 years of premium payment policy will generate a Guaranteed surrender value and if premium is not paid after grace period policy will be PAID UP in case policy has a guaranteed surrender value.However the company marked it as LAPSED and now they are Harassing me since last 2 months to change the policy status. I have contacted their service helpdesk multiple time over phone and email everyone accepted that this is mistake but this is not corrected. Every week they are calling me for paying premium but whenever I am raising my concern NO-RESPONSE.Since the policy is marked as LAPSED now they are neither ready to change it PAID UP neither they are ready to pay minimum guaranteed surrender value. Attaching herewith the policy document and my scanned copy of policy document for your reference.Please Help me.

    Hello Team, My name is Sunitha.D.R from Bangalore, Karnataka. I am registering a complaint regarding un-authorised debit from my HDFC savings account. I have savings account with HDFC bank since 2006. My account number is [protected] and my mobile number registered with this account is [protected]. On 26 June 2015, an amount of Rs.35, 901.24/- was debited from my savings account for credit card ending with number 2108. I did not receive any prior intimation from HDFC bank regarding this amount that was debited from my account. Nor I received any message after the amount that was taken from my account. Without my knowledge or intimation, mainly authorisation this amount was debited from my savings account. I had not registered automatic debit from my savings account for any credit card that I have including my family members credit card. I did not take any credit using my credit card that is ending with number 8686. I did not set standing instructions in my account for any card. As per my knowledge, I had registered and de-registered Mr. Mohammed Zahed’s credit card (ending with 2108) only to make a payment of Rs.10, 000/- on 2 June 2015. After making the payment, I had immediately de-registered his credit card information of my account. I had raised a complaint with HDFC bank on 27-June-2015, when I found that the amount was debited from my account. No action was taken from HDFC customer support team even though I explained what all happened. They advised me to contact the concerned person for refund of the amount and he is not ready to give my money. My first point to HDFC bank team would be as how could they debit money from my account without any prior intimation letting me know that a huge amount will be debited for credit card ending with card number 2108. I am paying for messages to HDFC bank. Here, I would say HDFC bank cheated a customer i.e, me and debited the amount from my savings account and is not willing to take the opportunity to resolve the issue based on genuine explanation or investigation. My account is being locked for almost 10 plus days, this has affected my regular transactions and is also causing issue to my housing finance limited (HFL)amount that is debited from my HDFC bank account every month. I need justice for what has happened. Help me regarding this, I don’t know what to do or whom to contact to have this issue resolved.       Lien on Current Account and SB Account

Also i was using a HDFC Credit card which was taken much earlier to opening of this current account.       I applied for HDFC life term plan. proposal no: 17691318 from policy bazar on july 16, 2015 Till now they are not issuing my policy and when i am asking for it they saying we did not provide you a date, it is under our scan and whenever it is ok, we will issue it. So i asked for refund and they are not initiating refund also . this process takes almost 2 months now. Hdfc life is so called top most brand in market . I am asking one thing that if there is technical problem in issuing policy cancel it. i dont mind. but do not harass customer.

          I have HDFC Times credit card. At the time of offering this credit card HDFC agent told clearly that there will not be any membership fee on this card so I availed the card. Now HDFC is charging membership fee of Rs.1710. I wrote an email to HDFC customer support more than 20 times but they are not waiving off the membership charge. HDFC is a biggest thief and Robber in banking sector. They just give rubbish offer and harsh customers. Very bad experience.

              I had a salary account in HDFC for my previous company. I left my company 2 years back and HDFC changed my salary account to saving account without intimating me. Now I have - 5000 something amount in the account. I would not pay a single penny to HDFC, Why it was not been informed to me. HDFC is robbering with their customers.

                Sir/Ma'am,

                Your HDFC bank has really putted me in a very embarassing situation. I have opened the salary account with Account Number:- [protected] in your Kormangla branch, Bangalore, Karnataka. The moment my salary was credited in my account I found all my transaction modes blocked be it NETBANKING, MOBILE BANKING, ATM Withdrawl and DEBIT CARD payment. Even after making around 20-30 calls with your useless customer care my issue is still unresolved. Its really a pathetic service offered in my entire banking experience. None of your executive is aware of what actually is the problem and whenever I call them they transfer my call to some another agent and them ultimately my call is dropped of automatically. Its really irritating and now its high time. Please unlock my transaction rights as I can't bear the loss posed to me by your bank by locking me down financially.

                      Had taken Policy No. 10264731 with HDFC Standard Life which matured on 17rth April 2015 and they were supposed to remit full maturity amount basis NAV of that date. I had intimated them 2 months before that I want full redemption and they agreed. Later they claimed some annuity form is also required and dilly dallied and finally released the funds in June at the lower NAV of that date . Loss : About INR 14000. They do not reposnd and have not even sent the final account statement
                      HDFC Life customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                        The customer care person created a misunderstanding for the SmartPay numbers and said that the payment has been made for few numbers. The Payment was done for numbers which I did not provide to register. when I was waiting for the clarification by mail from them, I did not pay the the EMI until clarification and they were charging me late fees and said they will reverse the amount as this was a miscommunication from there side. The amount turned from RS.4, 600 to Rs. 12000 including the late fees charges. I asked them to reverse the amount as I was paying the EMI's on time and I stopped paying the EMI's because they said that payment for numbers which I did not register were made from my card. Now they are reversing only a very small amount only. I was paying my EMI's and have completed my EMI's in April or May if they have not provided the wrong information or would have solved the problem immediately. I have mails from the HDFC customer care as proof of conversation.

                          Hello, I wanted to address my concern that HDFC bank's credit card division has debited my savings account # 03921******18947 BD block Pitampura New Delhi 110088 without my authorisation, following are the details -: Date Narration Cheque/Ref. No. Value Date Withdrawal Deposit Closing Balance 31 Jul 2015 FUND TRF DM-[protected] 0 31 Jul 2015 5, 567.56 I have had an upgraded credit card (in place of my existing credit card) sent to me without any request/authorisation with INCREASED CREDIT LIMIT, to which i called the customer care and they had their team lead call me back apologising, in all the interim i was never told that this card would attract annual charges after 1 year. When i got the charges i spoke to the customer care to have it cancelled, i categorically told them that i would not pay this annual charge, although i happily paid the dues the owed to them as i never had ANY DEFAULTS ON ANY OF THE AMOUNT THAT I OWED. They have been dragging this issue for all the while, i am a preferred customer for HDFC bank and i had invovled my branch manager Mr. Shekhar Saxena in the same but in vain as he has not responded to my emails. I had cancelled, cut the credit card as instructed by the customer care team and returned the same to the credit cards division in Chennai. HDFC bank working ethics are degraded to the fact that they are debiting/accessing their customer's saving account without their consent. Moreover i had written several emails to the grievance cell and they keep telling me to wait for 6 working days and then again for 7 working days.                           Hello I wanted to address my concerns that on 18/09/2020 there is a cash withdrawal transaction that was not done by me it's just a fraud by hdfc bank with name FUND TRF DM - 489377XXXXXX9266 OF RS - 1647 please try to resolve my case and it's just a fraud withdrawal by hdfc bank
                          Hi, this is BHUVANESWAR, my HDFC savings account amount holded rs.5227.00 and it has been debited on 28/05/2021 with out any exact reasons...in the statement showing FUND TRF DM...

                          Kindly let me know the reason for debiting the amount.

                            Bank ke Emp. & Branch Manager Har bar jhuth bolte hai. mere family member ka family a/c bolkar saving a/c khol diya. ab baat karne par galat galat bolte hai. sabhi apne se niche ke staff ko dosh dete hai. yaha tak ki branch manager bhi. har baar visit karne par inka jawab alag alag hota hai. bahut hi fraud bank hai.

                                In this connection, it is submitted that I opened my bank account at HDFC Bank, Jangpura Branch, ND-14 approximately eight month vide account no [protected] and customer I'd is 52628677. The Authorized representative / executive of the bank Mr. Ashraf told me that it's a zero balance account, that's why I opened an account to Rs. 50, 000/- because it is the zero balance a/c. Thereafter, I made many transactions from the bank. However my balance became low and I found that the bank has deducted my Rs. 2500/- due to low balance. On 22 April 2015, I deposited Rs. 18000/- and again the bank has deducted my Rs. 3000/- due to low balance. Thereafter, I contacted the bank and stated the Branch Manager Ms Shalini Malik that your executive has told me that this is zero bank a/c so why did your deducted money in my a/c for the reason of low balance. Further, Ms Shalini Malik, Manager told me and promised me that you deposit Rs. 1.00 lakh and after the deposit your deducted amount will be refunded. I made complaint on 23.04.2015 at the site of the bank i.e. [protected]@hdfc.com vide complaint no. MUMC[protected]. After the complaint again Ms Shalini Malik advice me that if you will not deposit Rs. 1.00 lakh your deducted amount will not be refunded. Therefore, as per direction I deposit Rs. 1.00 lakh. After the deposit of Rs. 1.00 lakh the manager has told me that within one month your all deducted amount Rs. 5500/- will be refunded. But the same has not been refunded till date. I have made complaint for several times regarding the same to branch manager Ms Shalini but she always says wait, wait and wait. Therefore, you are requested to kindly refunded my amount and take necessary action against the bank / officials because they have misguided the customers.

                                  I called customer care from my mobile number [protected] to get clarity on the Annual fee, Joining fee and other applicable charges. I was asked to wait by the customer service representative till he gets me the details, I waited for 15 mins and the call got disconnected. This happens every time I try reaching customer care.

My welcome kit is missing the following important items and i can't do anything without these important items for my bank account: Missing items are : 1. Welcome letter ( It has the customerid) 2. ATM cum debit card. The bank official missed welcome letter and atm card to put in my welcome kit. Kindly short out this issue asap. My trust has already gone with HDFC bank for suck kind of mistake.                                       HDFC again did a fraud. Amount of rupees 7215/- deducted from my account without informed me. I called customer care[protected]Alima) and Anand(MGR) who doesn't know how to mange things and he said we can't do any thing Please contact Credit card Dept. Called customer care(Rupali) got the same response. Favorite lines of this Bank: We don't have data. we can't do anything. No one's account is safe with this bank. it is a HDFC(Big group of frauds!!!) HDFC deducted amount for The card which I deregister 4 months ago from my account. I have so many questions in my mind and they don't have answer!! will go to any level to let down these people.

                                      I just need a small favor, Please give me in written :the amount of Rupees 7250/- that you have charged/deducted from my account is right and there is no ambiguity in it. Also you have rights to deduct money from any Bank Account holder without giving any notice.


                                      I'm not facing this issue for the first time so I decided, I will be not only filing a case in Consumer Court but also highlighted it to the RBI general Body to show what type of Moral Outbreak has been followed by HDFC bank.

                                      I deregister my credit card 5 months ago but still they charged me on the outstanding amount. I asked the details for the charges but nobody gave me any useful information. all they said is check your emails.


                                      without giving any notice they leaned a amount of 7250/- on my SALARY account.


                                      I had serval emails and phone conversations then I realized that the bank only think what is best for his self not for the customer. I have already paid rupees 7250/- to HDFC.


                                      HDFC did so many things wrong to me. I had never ever a problem to pay the charge but wrong thing is I paid you which I have never spent on this card.


                                      I'll go for the closure of this account and also I raising this application to the consumer court how HDFC blackmailed me for the money.


                                      it's pathetic to see that the bank and the credit card Dept. has no collaboration when any information is asked. How ever when an amount has to be deducted there is tons of collaborations.
