I was shocked to receive a rude letter from Mr Anindya Mitra junior clerk of Hdfc Bank. Ground floor, C wing, Modern Centre, Sane Guruji Marg, Mahalaxmi Mumbai 11.

The relevant portions of the rude letter of the crude junior clerk is as follows: " We will continue to monitor your account for another 30 days. If the transaction pattern in the captioned account is not in sync with the balance maintained in the bank, we would be constrained to initiate appropriate action and we may not be in a position to extend our services to you"

Firstly we have 11 accounts in HDFC bank and we have been banking without a single default for several years. Our loan emi of 1.48 Lakhs was successfully paid without a single default.

Now it is a known fact that several officers of hdfc had co-operated with those who had unaccounted funds and helped them to open accounts and invest in their schemes. This was caught on cobrapost.

The interpretation which the bank ought to have taken is that it ought to have been very careful because of low integrity of staff and the recruitment procedure had to be monitored strictly.

Unfortunately the bank chose to interpret it that junior clerks such as anindya mitra had the right to write crude letters to old and reputed customers of the bank just at their mere whims and fancies.

The matter was brought to the attention of Jayesh bhai of Hdfc Grant road branch and one Mr Jangam.

Unfortunately none of these two gentlemen chose to report the errant junior clerk to the Board of Directors for strict disciplinary action for writing rude letter.

Both Jayesh and Jangam tried to scuttle the issue by pretending that the letter intended to mean this or the letter was supposed to mean that.

The letter must be read as it is and there is no room for intendments and suppostions.

I will be moving away to a better bank and I caution the trading community at large to stay away from such banks which shield rude clerks and have no respect for their clients.

The RBI should also note this errant attitude of HDFC . Instead of keeping vigil on its staff, it is becoming rude to its genuine clients.

    Sir,

    I have an account and ATM Card in your HDFC bank. But My debit card (ATM Card) stolen. I did not know who was stolen. Today Rs 5000/- debited from my account. Please confirm me where and which ATM was used to withdraw the amount. If I get it then I can find out the same through CCTV of the ATM. Please confirm through my mail ID mukthiyarahamed.[protected]@gmail.com or sms/call Mob [protected]. Please inform.

    ICICI — UNKNOWN ATM WITHDRAWAL

    I have a savings account in ICICI GK-I Brank and my account no. is[protected]. During 5 and 6th October ,2009, through ATM, Vikaspuri from transaction ID's SB2168775 & SB3487609 a sum of Rs. 5000/- & 3000/- were withdrawn from my account . On both these days I was having the ATM card with me and I have not disclosed my PIN to anybody. I am from working class and losing Rs.8000/- for no reason or no fault from my side has shocked me.

    I contacted ICICI and they have given in writing that since these are pin based trasaction, bank is not responsible for the loss and we can seek police assistance.

    Please lookinto it and suggest what is to be done in this case.

      They have deducted a charge of Rs-561.80 from my account stating depository charges for DEMAT account which i was been assured while opening account that will be free of cost they are big lairs and lures they have such a big booklet in which they take sign and scoundrels have these terms in some clauses
      But my question is why these people who come to the company for opening these accounts stating that they are banks representatives why don they tell us all this and set false assurance my complaint is against this agent name Faizan who is from HDFC Kalyani nagar branch,Pune.Who comes to Zensar Technologies for getting your accounts opened.

      HDFC Credit Card — unauthorized money transfer

      this is to complaint you that hdfc credit card have been debited rs.21700.00 from my savings account without my consent.this credit card belongs to my husband and this savings account is a joint account of me and my husband in hdfc bank.i want to inform you that we are a senior customers of hdfc bank.these days we are facing a very big financial problem. thats why my husband have become failed to pay the EMIs of his credit card . i have requested the bank to be helpful to me to pass this difficult time.i hope that i will be able to make payment of the overdue amount after few months but they are totally non co-operational .they are coming to my house and abusing us.now they have done this unauthorized transfer from my account.please help me to survive.i have 4 children.1 is mentally retarded among them. please help me.i want that rs.21700.00 in my account back. i promise to pay all the dues after some months, when my business will be grow up. my husband and my elder son and daughter are doing very hard work to pay all the debts.please help me.

      HDFC Bank — Unauthorised charges deduction from Saving Account

      I am holding savings account with HDFC Bank Ahmedabad for quite some time. In fact this used to be my salary account, hence zero balance facility was extended. Later on it was removed, since I changed my job.

      Surprisingly, in the month of when I looked at my statement, I see Rs. 700 + service taxes were deducted from my account by bank -giving some reference of non-maintenance of Average Quarterly Banalce (which I came to know at later date). Since this was unexpected, I contacted customer care department of HDFC bank and also wrote them on e-mail about such deduction and requested them to transfer the money in my account.

      When I contacted customer care office and asked about such deduction, he informed that the rule was implemented recently and accordingly the money has beed deducted.

      Last month, when I again checked my statement, to my surprise additionally Rs. 50 + Service tax was deducted from my balance, mentioning about the phone banking office charges.. This is some thing strange. Normally, all banks keeps phone banking officers for responding any quaries of any customer.

      I would like to file complaint against HDFC bank for such deductions.

        I have left the HDFC back & as per the mail received from them dated 29 May 2009. they have received the PF withdrawal form dated 23 April 2009, but as of now i.e. 29 Jan 2010 i have not received my PF amount

        I have written to them many time but instead of initial reply they have now stoped responding to my mail

          I was purchesed a policy sampurna samrddhi from hdfc life priced of 15211/-.but after someday for some problem I cancel it , and now they said that they refund my money in 4th july, 2013, but I have not rcv it , my bank details are ,, sbi account number - [protected], ACCOUNT HOLDER - tamali biswas, ifsc code - sbin0012446.branch - GUPTIPARA.             y name is Ashvini Vyas, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. I have been victim of an insurance policy of HDFC LIFE miss-sold case and victim of FRAUD agents who crocked me. I have been victim of fraud and misbehaved by the HDFC life people. I request you to give it a time and read complete complaint in detail. My detail complaint is as below.



            Before few months a man, namely, Mr. Anurag Sharma, [cell no: [protected]], called me up and introduced himself as HDFC bank executive. He told me that due to my good transactions with the HDFC bank, main branch of HDFC, situated at Mumbai, would like to offer me a Diamond membership which is also known as “sampurna Smridhi” . This plan is introduced by HDFC bank and HDFC life together for those valued customer who has good transaction history with bank. According to that membership plan, I will get following benefits.



            · Bank will give me all facilities of banking door to door to all over India and abroad to me and all my family members

            · I will get a dedicated banking employee who will take care of all my banking affairs with HDFC

            · I will get an insurance cover of 10x than the membership fees I pay till age of 99 years

            · I need to pay 56,000 Rs/-and bank will give me benefit of 60,000 Rs/-

            · I will get 12% interest rate on amount.

            · I will get maturity money after 5 years



            I was not so sure regarding the membership so sr. of Mr. Anurag Sharma, namely, Mr. V.K. Singh, [protected], called me up who introduced himself as HDFC Bank executive, Mumbai. He added that I am the youngest person in Gujarat who has been selected for such valuable service because I am valued customer of HDFC bank. He added I will get more benefits like:



            · More interest rates on fixed deposit

            · No formality of filing when I will in need of any kind of loan

            · My family members will get all the banking and insurance facility door to door at my convenient time

            · I will get dedicated login id to access and manage all my banking and insurance IDs



            After hearing all this, and as I have good relation with HDFC bank, I got convinced as I get good service from HDFC bank and as they explained this is from bank I got ready to take this banking plan of diamond membership, as they explained and chosen credit card pay option. I asked them I would like to talk with my banking PR manager Ms. Megha so I will sign the form 2 days later. But they came 1 day earlier than we decided to meet and that’s why I couldn’t take advice of my banking PR. For early coming they give excuse that they need to close the procedure before financial year end and very few candidates are chosen for this service so we need to finish documentation soon.



            After few days, Mr. V.K. Singh, called me again with saying that as I chosen credit card bank is offering me 1 more beneficial scheme, under which I will get following benefits

            · I need to pay 37,000 more and I will get benefit of 40,000 rs. So in total I need to pay 93,000 rs and bank will give me benefit of 1,00,000 Rs

            · If I take this plan then I will get freedom to withdraw money after 1 year itself with all benefits and insurance till 99 years of age.

            As they told me I can withdraw money anytime, I got convinced again and on the same day their boy namely, Zaheer, came and took necessary signatures.



            After few days when I received, policy papers, I get to know I have to pay till 11 years. So I called up Mr. V.K.Singh again and asked regarding T&C of policy. He replied that this is just formality and documents will be same for all people. But we know that you are valuable customer and you will get all the benefits I promised. You will get extra features. I said but if you left the job after 5 years then? He said ma’am your records are here in the database and you will get promised features. Do not go with docs. I will send you a kit which will have special login detail which is offered to diamond member only. And much more he explained and trapped me again.



            After few days, I get to know from few sources that whatever explained to me was completely false and there is no such collaborative plan of HDFC Bank and HDFC Life. They both work independently. I rush to nearer HDFC LIFE branch for confirmation and explained my story. They told me that this is clear case of missell policy and you need to file written complaint. As per their guidance I filled written complaint which had all details and of 3 pages long. Within few days a man, namely, Mr V.K. Bhardwaj, called me up by saying that he is head of HDFC grievance department and handling my complaint. He said, you are valuable customer ma’am. Like my younger sister I am advising you not to cancel this policy. This is the best plan for you and you will get the benefit of 1,00,000 even you are paying 93,000. These are internal matters and local employees don’t have knowledge of it. The only exception is you need to pay till 11 years. Apart from that everything you will get as explained and if you cancel the policy I will fire the man, namely, Mr. Anurag Sharma, who sold this policy to you. I felt pity and again got trapped by the fraud and given in written that Mr. V.K. Bhardwaj explained me the terms and I am ready to pay till 11 years and I would like you to scold and make Mr. Anurag Sharma understand that do not follow such action and kindly do not fire him. The same delivery boy Zaheer collected that paper.



            At the same evening, I get to know I got fooled again and they were the same V.K. Singh with different last name Bhardwaj but same contact number which is [protected]. At very next day I rush to HDFC Life branch office and filed complaint again with details what happened to me and do not accept any complaint withdrawal later on behalf of me and continue with complaint. After the action period expires I called, many times at the HDFC Life grievance department, on number[protected] which leads me to call on some other number which was no of reception. Mr. Ashok who has no sense of talk with a customer. After hearing my policy is missold he just transferred my call to grievance dept no. I called again after hearing my voice he just cut the phone. I called up again and asked his name and in tone of do whatever you can he given his name and bang the phone again. I called up the HDFC Life grievance department, on number[protected] again. They used to ask me to call on that reception no or go to Ahmedabad branch office and they just did not replied well and talked too rudely at that day. At last some officer asked me to complaint again at [protected]@hdfclife.com . I complained there. I also filled online grievance form on HDFC LIFE website. After few days, a lady called up and started asking what happened? I explained in brief and asked her to read my complaint latters which has all the details. She admitted she has not read that paper yet and will go through it and will get back to me. After few days I got a letter explaining, the policy was not missel and I won’t get any refund. I am advisable to pay till 11 years. If I have query I should escalate at email id [protected]@hdfclife.com. I forwarded my complaint at [protected]@hdfclife.com, [protected]@hdfclife.com and [protected]@hdfclife.com with the points:

            If everything explained to me was correct the here is what i got explained at time of policy selling:



            1. I HAVE TO PAY ONLY 93,000 RS/- FOR BOTH POLICIES AND I WILL GET BENEFITS OF 1,00,000 RS/-

            2. I WILL GET 12% OR EVEN MORE INTEREST RATES ON MY POLICY

            3. I WILL GET ALL THE BANKING FACILITY OF HDFC AT MY HOME OR OFFICE DOOR TO DOOR AND THESE SERVICES WILL ALSO BE PROVIDED TO MY FAMILY ALL OVER THE INDIA AND ABROAD WHERE HDFC BANK EXIST

            4. I WILL GET MORE INTEREST RATES IN FD ACCOUNT IN HDFC BANK

            5. I DO NOT NEED TO DO ANY KIND OF FILE WORK TO GET LOAN. I WILL GET LOANS DIRECTLY FROM HDFC BANK

            6. I WILL GET DIMOND MEMBERSHIP OF HDFC WHICH INCLUDES ALL SERVICES AND SPECIAL TREATMENT FROM HDFC BANK AND HDFC LIFE

            7. AS PER DIMOND MEMBERSHIP, I WILL GET SPECIAL LOGIN CRESENTIAL FROM WHERE I CAN MANAGE ALL MY HDFC ACCOUNT INCLUDING BANK AND LIFE

            8. I CAN WITHDRAW MY MONEY AFTER 1 YEAR

            9. MR. V.K. SING [[protected]]WHO CALLED ME AS HDFC BANK EXECUTIVE AND TOLD ME THE OFFER IS FROM BAK ITSELF OF PROMOTING ME TO DIMOND MEMBERSHIP AND GIVING ME THE FACILITY OF INSURANCE [WHICH MEANS HE EVEN DIDNT EXPLAINED ITS AN INSURANCE POLICY. HE SAID HE IS CALLING FROM BANK AND INSURANCE IS COMPLIMENTRY TO A DIMOND MEMBER] WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT AND HE DOES WORKS IN HDFC BANK AND MAKING FRAUDS

            10. THE SAME MAN V.K. BHARDWAJ [[protected]] WITH DIFFERENT NUMBER CALLED ME UP AFTER I COMPLAINED THAT HE IS HDFC LIFE REPRESENTATIVE AND AFTER PAYING 93,000 RS, I WILL GET BENEFIT OF 1,00,000 RS WAS RIGHT. AND HE IS WORKING FOR HDFC LIFE, TOO AND MAKING FRAUDS FOR HDFC LIFE ITSELF BY USING DIFFERENT LAST NAMES.



            so as per your investigation officer Ms. Kausar all the points explained to me was right and if policy was not missel to me so will i get all the benefits I mentioned above including getting interest rate on 1,00,000 rs premium, more interest rates in FDs, etc? If yes, then please give this to me in written



            And more details. But no one is replying now. I have forwarded same email 2-3 times but no response at all from HDFC LIFE side.



            I find myself completely trapped by frauds. As the HDFC LIFE people are not replying to my complaint and I doubt they even do not have read my complaint properly. The important question is also there that how that fraud agent get to know regarding my first complaint. And there are many such questions which make me lead to think that HDFC LIFE itself supporting such FRAUD AGENTS TO SELL THEIR POLICIES AND THEN WITHOUT TAKING ANY ACTION JUST SAY IT WASN’T MISSELL. CASE CLOSED.

            The fact is we are middle class people and do Not have that much time, resources or money to fight with such FRAUDS and at the end we accept it with misfortune. But I would like to have JUSTICE. NOT ONLY FOR ME BUT FOR ALL THOSE WHO GOT VICTIM OF THESE FRAUDS IN PAST AND THOSE WHO CAN BE CROCED BY SUCH FRAUDS. I NEED JUSTICE AND THE MONEY OF MY HARD WORK BACK AS I CAN’T PAY TO A COMPANY WHO GIVES BACKSUPPORT TO FRAUD AGENTS AND GIVE RUDE BEHAVIOUR TO CLIENTS

            sir my name is ashok kumar salan and i living in nabha(patiala). sir now i retire from army.sir from four days i did not reiceive my courier of hdfc life insurance policy. so kindly give my courier as earlier as possible.

            I wanted to discontinue the policy issued in my name for i had visited the bank hdfc thakur village brch but did not get proper response n the staff said that u may lose the amt paid to the bank as deposit so isn't it a joke when i person pays his or her hard earned money to the bank as a saving due to some unavoidable circumstance could not continue it so kindly transfer the amt back to the account in ur bank in my name

            HDFC — FAKE HDFC SERVICES

            Hi,

            On 18 Apr 2013 DEPOSITORY CHARGES MAR[protected] are deducted from my account.These bloody HDFC people are good for nothing.I want my money back.I was told this account is free and i never used this account since they opened it.I want by money back otherwise i am going to close my account.

                Only in one month (July) there are three deduction in the name of NWD--- and It has been deducted Three thousand in one month again after checking the whole netbanking Account details it had already deducted Two thousand in the month of June...                   I have been regularly purchasing gold using credit card and pay it in EMI's. But recently, when I bought gold in a merchant, I couldn't convert the amount into EMI. When I asked the HDFC customer service, they said that the EMI conversion for gold purchase has been cancelled in recent days. I asked if I didn't get any notice through mail/sms. But the service people are not responding properly, they are pushing me to get loan and pay the amount. But I feel very bad about this behavior from HDFC, the worst banking service I would say. It is very explicitly shown that they are intended to steal people money.

                  My simple question is to why people is not informed if these kind of new regulations applied, How merchants are not aware in this regulations. When I asked the merchant, they blame HDFC service. Will I get any justice here?

                  I have not been facing these kind of silly service with any other banking service. Especially, Citibank has been the best in customer service

                  I recived your lettar on 1st week of FEB- 2008.In this letter you are mentioned my credit card NO.[protected] outstanding amount of Rs.11489.48.
                  But i don't know anything about this outstanding balance,when i took this amout, how,for which purpose, If you have any documents of this transaction.Pls send me this document on my address.

                  Now u can imagine the working of HDFC bank, all other banks are giving free of cast.Moreover, the limit was told very high and now I have got the limit only 53000.


                  I am just informing u that i want to cancel this credit card. I shall cut this credit card diagonally in four pieces and drop in HDFC Sec-11, Rohini, New Delhi ATM drop box on saturday i.e. 4th July 2009.and after that i shall not be responsible for any dues.


                  If any dues are shown on me I shall not be responsible and shall go to RBI for the same.

                  At last i am now with impression that HDFC is a very cheap bank and shall try to avoid this cheap bank.

                  Sub: cheating by hdfc bank, false commitments of their staff.
                  Dear Sir,
                  I would like to draw your kind attention towards the banking nature of HDFC bank& their staff.
                  I opened a current account with them in oct. 2008 (in the name of my firm OPTICAL CENTRE), this account was for taking the EDC(card swipe machine) services of the bank.
                  The account was opened with an amount of Rs.10,000/-, & I had not taken the debit card service of the bank, because I didn’t required it, they were charging Rs.100/- for it. But chequebook was free with this account, as said by bank representative. Even he has given me in written that bank won’t deduct any charges without my knowledge(bcoz I really had a miserable time with them earlier also, that’s why I took all this in written).
                  But on receiving my first account statement I was shocked to know that they have deducted Rs.125/- from my account as chequebook charges. When I contacted the branch, they said they will revert it or it will be deposited by the person who opened the account (after confirming him that he had commited it). But neither the charges were reverted nor the machine was installed even after submitting the forms two times(because the form was lost by them with all my documents, address proof , id proof etc)
                  and here came the quarter end & they deducted Rs.750/- as AVERAGE QUARTER BALANCE charges, I contacted several times times but every time their personal banker Mr.MANU GOEL calmly promised me that all the charges will revert soon, as this is now not a small amount it will take some time. But nothing was done.
                  At last on 24 aug 2009 when I contacted the bank Mr.manu goel told me that all the charges reverted in your account, I didn’t want to continue with them, so I signed the account closing form but to my surprise I received the cheque of Rs.9117/-only, instead of Rs.10,000/-.
                  And when I contacted them they were so rude, they even told me that”DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO DO, GO CONSUMER COURT OR WHEREEVER YOU WANT TO GO, NOTHING CAN BE DONE” as your account is closed we have already reverted 2 AQB charges, & nothing more we can do.
                  Sir, this much amount is not a big thing but I want that the bank and their employee should realize that they cant treat a common man like this.
                  They kept my money for almost an year, gave no service, return my money after deduction & harassed me so much. I made more than 25 visits to bank for this only, as I am in business it was very difficult for me to go there again & again.

                  Dear Sir,
                  I applied credit card of HDFC bank. During the application of card as per agent that was free card and no membership fees was applicable. After one month when card became to deliver but due to non inviability of mine at home that was not happened. The courier company was Blue Dart. They kept a paper there was mentioned contact number and package number.When i called on that number but nobody was attending both numbers. When i called the Delhi head office of Blue Dart there i tole to her my package number then she told me that package number was wrong. Due to this reason i could not trace the my card. After that i called in HDFC's coustumer care regarding i did not received my card and block the card. After complain they generated a statement that pay for Rs 200/- for membership that is not applicable during the form fill up.

                  My emi for the month of december was bounced, and i have paid the amount immidiatly on 14th december with all applicable charges/ penalties through your agency named M. R. Integrated Services

                  HDFC Bank — Pathetic Service and Consumer Cheating

                  Hi

                  I am Vijay, a personal loan customer from HDFC bank with a/c 13414035. However in due to recent shift of salaried bank account , my EMI clearance ( amount Rs. 16,970 /-) was bounced for insufficient funds and accordingly HDFC deducted charges. But to my surprise, inspite of paying the EMI amount to collection executive from HDFC, they have once again deducted the EMI amount as ECS clearance for second instance and credited back only nominal amount Rs. 15,417 /- ) without any provided clarifications. This is absolute cheating and fraud from Bank without being informed to customer on prior notification on deductions.

                    Hi, I owned a HDFC Bank Credit Card from Mumbai. In December, 2011 i relocated to USA. In March, 2012, i came to know that i can not have that credit card since i was going to be NRI and as per card member agreement, i cannot use that card. I requested them to close the account. The balance was nil. They did not close the account. In December, 2012 some Debt Recovery Consultant called me and in conversation, i got to know that my card was not cancelled and i had charge of Rs. 5000 on my card. I was shocked, but the Debt Recovery Consultant, Ms. Rachana informed me that i need to pay Rs. 1500 and she will reverse the balance amount and close my card finally. Since, i was out of country, in USA, in order to stay away from hassles, i paid the amount and send application via my cousin in Vadodara, Gujarat, who dropped the same in the nearest HDFC Branch.

                    HDFC Bank did not close my card and they kept on charging around Rs. 1500/- per month. I have been trying to get hold of someone and get the issue resolved, however, i have not received anything yet. I call them from USA try to explain them for half an hour or so but no body gives a proper reply.

                    The Grievance redressal is not responding properly. They are making excuses that they are not able to get in touch with me. They gave me a number which no one pics up. I am tired of making them calls and explaining them. They never responded anything.

                    HDFC — False Charges on my saving account

                    i md ismail khan have a salaried account at ur park street branch .i am aan employee of reliance.ur park street branch staff's are very rude and harsh they dont bother to hear what the customer are saying and they say that u can make a complaint to the branch manager.i went to him he is a good person.i have applied for a debit card and havent got it when i went to the bank to find out weather my debit cad is come or no.the person on the customer help desk named.kishore kumar saha misbehaved and answered very rudely.all the above things are told by him.
                    so sir i request u to tak some action against him.when asked he even told his name and said i[censored] want oyt complauint u can go ahead.

                    Credit Card — Fals charges

                    Two years back, SBI lost my cheque for the payment towards the credit card outstanding. On thier request, a fresh cheq issued, yet SBI debited the intrest and late payment charges.

                    The matter was brought to the attention of thier VP Customer service Mr kwatra and Mr Ajay Bharti - in a series of commuinications through letters as early as 2006.

                    Both did nothing and the statements kept pouring in with intest being debited over the intrest.

                    Telephones by thier staff, in which i stated that to personally meet with relevant data and sort the case out, elicted no response.

                    Lately i have recieved threatining and abusive calls from Mr Sahil and Mr Naveen from telephone nos [protected] and [protected].

                    They have gone to the extent of physical elimnation if charges arent paid.

                    When advised to meet up personally, to sort oth facts they refused stating and went abusive and threatining again.

                    They even claimed that they have bribed the police and now they will exhibit muscle power, cause thier commission is at stake.

                    Also they offered a discount of 50% to settle the case.

                    Lete examine the fallacies

                    a. If the amount is genuine why is SBI not claiming in full.

                    b. Why is SBI not keen on meeting up and resolving the same personally.

                    This is what SBI is.

                    Could the readers please advise me on the options avialable.

                    Is SBI a Bank or is it a Goonda Company.

                    This is in regards to 2 credit cards I had with HDFC Bank in 2007, the card numbers being - [protected] and [protected].

                    My concern is that I got both the cards settled in March 2007. The outstanding amount and the amount I paid against those cards is as under:

                    Unfortunately, I wasn't aware or I should say was never informed that I would be black listed if I get those cards settled. And I would have never known it; not until I decided to top up my existing personal loan with HDFC bank. So, I decided to get this taken care of and called HDFC CC division. This was in Jan 2008. I was told by the representative that I need to pay Rs.3048 and Rs.3212 respectively to clean my name. This happened on 13th Jan 2008 and 11th Jan 2009. Thereafter, when I contacted them again, the amount automatically inflated and I was told that I had to pay additional Rs.4715 and Rs.5358 respectively. What would you call this? - Cheating on the customer. Both those accounts were closed by 18th Jan 2008, however, they should have been closed way back in March 2007, which was original month when I got those cards settled.

                    Please advise.

                    For a payment of Credit card (which is due on 27 of FEB 2010) I dropped my check on 23 FEB they mentioned it as late payment and added late fee 500 , Finance charge -564 service tax- 106, CESS TAX-3.19

                    this irrelevant all other credit card have their payment window which is flexible for 1-2 days but here they only cheat you and Robb you pocket.

                    My name is Manish Jaswani & i have a saving a/c no[protected] at HDFC Bank, Lekhraj Market,Faizabad Road,Lucknow & balance Rs.5227.27 which i have open at Rs. 5200 in 1997 with minimum balance facility of 5000.On 12th jan 2011 my a/c has been debited with Rs. 827 & when i asked lekhraj branch ,they told me that these charges are debited because of not maintaining minimum balance but my minimum balance was more than 5000 in any quarter.they said that they have increased my minimum balance facility from 5000 to 10,000 thats why my a/c has been charged Rs. 827.they have neither informed me or sent me any mail.Infact when i went to branch manager's cabin he refused to talk to me.so i closed my a/c there.Does any bank has right to increase the minimum amount facility without asking or informing customer.so finally i closed my a/c & got just Rs.4400 instead of 5227.it means Hdfc bank is there just to make consumer fool or what.

                      One of the employees from HDFC Life sold me 2 medical and 1 term plan towards the end of last fiscal year promising they would go through. For both the medical, I had told them upfront there are pre-existing conditions, and that I will not need it if it will be rejected. But Rajan Joseph from HDFC Life, Pallarivatom branch promised these will go through, and that I will get tax credit for year ending April 2013.

                      After some painstaking followup for 2 months from my side, the 2 medicals got cancelled because o[censored]nknown reasons, which I am fine with. However, my term plan has been on hold for the last 3 months because he failed to submit the supporting documents I had provided. My funds was held up for a long time because of his lack of accountability and responsibility, and after 3 months, I am without medical or life insurance.

                      Once he got credit for his year end numbers, he went without answering emails or phone numbers. I sent repeated emails to his manager, but got no response from him either.

                      I have asked for an escalation path for 3 months now, and no response has been provided for that either. HDFC Life got more than Rs.50000 from me as premium, and after 3 months, I still have nothing to show for it. About 40k was refunded after 2 months and 10k is still on hold. This seems like an easy way for HDFC Life to raise money without paying any interest to the customer. Just wait for 2 months, and send the cheque back.

                      Absolute mal practice on part of Rajan and HDFC Life.

                        These hdfc bank/life sell their insurance products by breaking your fd ..Initially they will tell 3 years then you signed documents and 5 years you have to pay ..they will argue.I complained every where but no use.The funds are also not doing well..These big companies cheating ppl charging heavily to clients and running theair lavish offices...
                        Please do something to recover my money.

                          My name is Mr. Mervin Fernandes, holder of HDFC debit and credit card. For safety reasons, I will only quote my customer id 41182971. On 22 June, 2013, I received the following SMS on my registered mobile no. "MAKE 5 TXN BETWEEN 15TH TO 30TH JUNE'13 AND GET FLAT CASH BACK OF RS. 150/- " If I am right, I must have contacted the HDFC Credit card helpline[protected] on the same day (22/6/13) to confirm about this offer. I was advised over the phone, since the last 4 digits of my credit card were not listed, this cannot be a HDFC credit cards offer. I requested the rep to transfer me to the Savings bank account section to check if this offer was applicable on my debit card. The rep in the debit cards section asked me to read the SMS word by word. He then advised me this offer applies on my debit card. As per the rep, this offer will not consider cash withdrawals. In order to eligible for the Rs. 150/- cashback, I will have to swipe my card at any merchant outlet. THere is no criteria for swiping it at a particular EDC though. I can swipe it on any EDC machine for a minimum of Rs. 100/- five times within the specified period and I will receive the cashback. So I went ahead and did the 5 transactions. In between, on 29 June, 2013, I once again confirmed with phone support about when I will receive the cashback. THis time too the rep advised me I will receive the cashback. THe fifth swipe was done on 30 June, 2013 and till date not only have I received any cash back, HDFC Bank now gives me crap. I again called up phone support and was given a complaint no MUMC[protected]. After the complaint was logged, I have been contacted by the Bank. First I was asked the source of the SMS dated 22/6/13, to which I replied LM-HDFCBK. I again received a callback today (9/7/13), where I was advised this offer was actually on my credit card and I need to call the credit cards helpline to check the offer. Is HDFC Bank run by fools. This story only proves this point. WHy was I advised this offer was on my debit card? For that matter, why was I send this SMS in the first place? The shameful part here is I contacted phone support and the phone rep gave me all crap. It is indeed a shame, I am a holder of 3 credit cards and yet I use a debit card to shop. This is crazy madness manufactured by HDFC Bank. It is either the bank is run by or the phone banking reps are here to create work rather than providing the right information to the crap created by someone else. THe way I look at it now, no one knows about the SMS. To whomsoever reading this note, please do not take SMS' from HDFC seriously as it may be just a ploy to make you spend unnecessarily.

                          in thane Railway station Drop Box. on 5 th I have received call Ms.Saili from andheri branch tel. No.[protected] saying that they have discontinued the services of picking chques from all the stations and agency will destroy their cheques. and told to inform the banker to stop the payment of the cheque. I did the same and they collected the another cheque from me. To my surprise the cheque No297005 deposited by the HDFC and same was returned . on 10/01/2008 I called the same lady informed the same she will communicate me and give me letter saying that there was mistake on their part . on 12/1/2008 I tried to contact she intentionally not picking the phone.

                          I am costumer under you credit card policy and my Credit Card No. : [protected]. Some misshaping I change my office NOIDA to Gurgaon and I could not receive bill timely that's I not pay bill timely also. I think that time my outstanding that time 3600 (Three Thousand six hundred) but one day your payment recovery cell NOIDA call me and tell me to pay my balance 3, 600. I tell them same story which I write here then they told me ok you pay 3000 (Three Thousand only) and other amount will be reimburse. After that when credit 3000 amount from my account immediately I receive one mail from HSBC Credit Card that your card was deactivate so you destroy it. I think ok no problem but I am surprised that as on today I receive at your end for balance amount and every month it is increasing . When I try HSBC - NOIDA on Ph no.[protected] and 602 no body peck-up phone.

                          Can you give me instruction that what I do and where I go to close my credit card account.

                          I have HDFC credit card no. [protected] since two years, services and my experience with hdfc bank was very good, but from last few month i am facing some problams. I made some transaction on my card of around rs18400. and for this payment i received a call from hdfc collection department, i asked from collection executive, Is there any option to convert this amount in EMI? and their reply was yes we have a option! and you can pay this amount in easily instalment's of approx 3300 in six EMI but for this you have to pay your minimum due. I did the same and paid my min. due, but after a month in statement i found finance charges and over limit charges in my statement but no EMI detail. Then i called to HDFC customer care and asked about EMI they told that we don't have any option for EMI and they said that collection department missleading you and you have to make this payment fully. Since then many of charges are laying on my card without my fault. Please help me look at this matter and do the needful.

                            I am working in a private cement company as a sales person and my wife Sasmita Panda is a house wife and living in a renter house at Rajnandgaon of Chhattisgarh with 3kids. This is such an unfortunate moment when I taken an insurance policy from HDFC bank, Rajnandgaon in the Month of Dec'12. The policy bond which I had received with 2 title in the bond. The person I never seen who have bearing two title at a time with out any reason. That means the name appearing as Shashmita Panda Sahu in the policy bond which is not opted for. My wife signed as Sasmita Sahu in the policy application page. After few days they asked to submit the doc. of my wife as a proof of identity whereas they told me before that no doc required if you will do from your salary a/c. However they taken board certificate of my wife as a age proof and Vote ID card for identification which is named as Sasmita Panda. They neither did the KYC in the name of Sasmita Panda nor Sasmita Sahu. They filled all shorts of other application procedure with forgery signature of my wife and sent a wrong policy doc. in the name of Shashmita Panda Sahu. I lodged so many complains immediately after receiving the policy doc. by verbaly and written thereafter and in so many times. Further I came to know that the policy benefits are also veg-us(misleading information given) and done as per the benefits of the sales man.


                            Sir/madam, In due course of time I sent numerous of mail to rectify the name and refund of my deposits to their grievance sell but received apology and no action further. In between 6 month already passed away and neither they rectified my name and not refunded my deposits. I want my hardship money back to my account. Please help me out.

                            Evidence:Attached doc received from bank as an evidence of name change. There are other evidence of documents could be provide you if you required which will proof the mismatching of signature done by the bank officials in the time of KYC.

                            BANKS — insurance policies

                            DONT BY ANY INSURANCE PRODUCTS FROM BANKS OR ANY OTHER BANK PRODUCTS THEY ARE ALL LIER AND MAKE FRAUD WITH YOUR MONEY:BE CAREFULL :


                            This is quite common in every indian banks they are not informing coustomers about charges in such policies.All this sale of policies manufacturing is on lies.after you have signed it you never get back money upto 5 to 10 years time.there is no growth in such polices up to 5 years thereafter growth is veary slow.risk of all investment is of coustomer so dont sign this polices you can better have money in normal accounts.
                            this is a best method to resolve any issues.

                              I sincerely recommend you that don not ever take Personal Loan from HDFC Bank.

                              They never worry about customer satisfaction – they need money by troubling customer as much as they can gain and doing fraud.

                              They will be behind you until you take the loan and do the lot of follow-ups for top-ups and once you committed definitely you will be in trouble.

                              Without informing you they will charge extra – these are hidden charges. You will be charged for all stupidy things.

                              They intentionally make your ECS stopped and make your account got delinquent and charge extra cost for all fraud things.

                              This is true and with my experience I am posting this – I am not opponent to HDFC, but as a customer unable to digest all these worse things.

                              I even don’t know how RBI is supporting such Banks in INDIA.

                              Hi,

                              I applied for personal loan in hdfc, when the loan sanction time they told me that, 6,00,000 with 15% rate of interest without processing fee because its higher amount, when i received the amount.

                              5,21,693/-
                              then i called customer care, then they provided info like that
                              your load amount is 540,000 with 16% processing fee is 2.5%.

                              , they took my sign in too many places, so that they can chang any time any thing, what i suggest is please ask them to fill before siging any where.

                              Personal Loan — Harassement for 0.38 paisa

                              Had taken a loan from HSBC and have been paying regular EMI through ECS since last four year plus. Of late I have been harrassed for 0.38 paisa which HSBC claims is outstanding. Kindly do the needful

                              I have taken a personal loan of rs. 2L. in last aug2010. this month i hv requested to the manager to close my loan as i am ready to pay it. and want to close this account. the local authority replies that u cannot close ur loan before 12 months. no one from HDFC given such intimation for preclose info. so i hv check with RBI there is no such rule is thr. I want to apply for new homeloan and due to this PL loan my eligibility is going down. after requesting number of time this people are not even respond.
                              one dya they call me and says that "we r ready to close this loan only condition is that U have get home loan from our hdfc bank.!!!!!!!

                              and so many times i call to their customer care but no response even they are not giving my statement saying u r amount is due. not sure what to do with them please help

                                Dear Sir,
                                I would like you to please help us resolve the issues being faced by us with HDFC Bank due to the their manager Mr. Pradeep Mahor, having committed to us certain Cash Deposit Waivers and now him not obliging us with the said commitment, thus HDFC fraudulently charging us these charges for my account numbers :

                                1. Current Account No : [protected].
                                2. Current Account No : [protected].

                                The basic matter in bullet points is as follows:

                                • We have a Petrol Pump (Aiki Auto Service) at Wagle Estate, Thane and had a fine and well serviced current A/c with Axis Bank in 2012, when HDFC opened its branch very close to our outlet.
                                • We were then approached by the manager in charge Mr. Pradeep Mahor, who requested us to transfer our account from Axis to HDFC, and keeping in mind that HDFC was much closer to us, and with the commitment by the manager Mr. Pradeep Mahor, that he too would continue to give us the waiver of Cash Deposit Charges, we chose to transfer our accounts to HDFC and that we should transfer all our Current and Savings Accounts of company and family members to HDFC, which we did.
                                • We noticed, that HDFC was indeed charging us for these cash deposits and we met Mr. Mahor at Wagle Estate Branch and told him that in spite of his commitment, we were being charged for these cash deposits, to which he confirmed that the same would be waived off soon.
                                • We noticed in Dec 2012, approximately Rs 15,000/- was waived by HDFC and we continued to inform him that there is still a charge being charged upon us for the deposits, to which he continuously assured us, that “Mr. Dhowan, why are you worried, when I have given my word that I will have the charges reversed, please trust me on it, and you can see that in Dec, I have got the said charges reversed, then why are you not trusting me”.
                                • Keeping this assurance we continued banking for another 3-4 months, however, we kept telling him (Mr. Pradeep Mahor) verbally to please waive the charges, and he never failed in committing that it would be done.
                                • Then in May after repeated verbal talks, we gave a written letter which he did not accept with a stamp, we then sent him a reminder after a few days (all communication attached), for which we insisted on a stamp of acknowledgement – to which he chose to personally call me up and again insist, that why am I insisting on these documents and reminders, when he has given his word and the charges would be reversed, to which I told him, that I need it in writing, as what happens if you (Mr. Pradeep Mahor) is transferred to another branch.
                                • It is since then that HDFC Wagle Estate and constant communication with the grievance cell of HDFC is not answering to any queries made by me, instead they constantly send me a mail, mentioning that since their cluster head Mr. Nangia met me, and has offered me 50% reversal of charges, the matter is resolved, where as I am not willing to accept anything less than 100% reversal, as I am not at fault, the commitment was made by their manager, and it is not fair of HDFC to deny this commitment. I have even written to the Nodal officer Mr. Anuj Sharma in regards to the matter, but I have received no reply from them in the matter.

                                I do request you to please intimate me whatever documents you may require, as I have all stamped copies of documents constantly submitted to HDFC and the emails of communication too, however, that may be too much for you to read initially, thus, if you can look into the matter, I would be obliged.

                                  I have received a call from HDFC Life for a Classic Assurance policy and the policy scheme sounds good to me and I purchased it at a price of 15,500 per year. But Once I have submitted the documents and my credit card details. They have deducted my full amount from credit card but I have already given instructions to them that I will take it as an monthly EMI, but they have deducted full year amount. And After that I tried to call the same person/ policy seller again and again and she had not picked up the call. I tried from different number but once they picked up and I tell them my name, She cuts the call again. I escalate this issue and one senior manager call me for the same and assured me that by tomorrow my issues will get resolved,. But on next day he also switch off his mobile and keeps on cut my call again and again. I went to HDFC Life office and they are also not responding properly that how much amount I will receive back if I will cancel this policy. Finally I cancelled it and have not received my refund back as of now. I am waiting for it.

                                  HDFC Life Insurance is really fake and there policy seller is also very fake and un trust worthy. Please dont' go for HDFC, rather choose govn. sector insurance i.e LIC.
                                  HDFC also donot take ant action against there fake policy seller and allows them to do mis-selling of policy.

                                    MR ARORA FEELS THAT ACCIDENT IS ONE IN WHICH FEW PEOPLE DIE, SOME ARE HOSPITALISED, DRIVER RUNS, AND THERE SHOULD BE LOT OF LOSS TO THE VEHICLE AND DRIVERS BLOOD SHOULD BE SPILLED ALL OVER THE CAR, THE DRIVER SHOULD BE CRITICAL

                                      Lost cheque by HDFC Bank

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I deposited a cheque No: 154678 for Rs 12000 drawn on SBI bank dated 6th June 13 in HDFC bank, Dilshad Garden, Delhi Branch. But after a week, I got to know from Bank that they have lost my cheque and are unable to locate it. I want to complaint against the bank for loosing my cheque and they have not been able to trace it till date.

                                      I request you to book a complaint against the bank and resolve it....
