I have a salary account with hdfc bank. I have started with sip in mutual funds (IND Money) using auto-pay option. Even though I had sufficient balance on sip date, I have been charged multiple - ach debit return charges of Rs.2419 (531+649+649+442+148) on the same day deducted from my account and now my balance is showing Rs.-148 on 26/12/2023.

I have never been informed that this would be charged . What are these charges for! Why are they so high. It is not a debt I have to pay. It is sip. How can we inculcate habit of regular savings if you penalise so harshly.

Hdfc bank has to return this money. There was no intimation from the bank. I didn't even receive any SMS alert regarding this deduction

Please help me resolve this. People are losing trust in public banks and now these banks also!!!. Although it doesn't make a difference to hdfc bank for sure, but i will close my account if it is not returned. If auto debiting is a service you provide as a bank, then it is your duty to inform me of the charges for the same. Heights of fraud.

Please help me resolve this and return my money.

    My salary account (In HDFC Bank) was created in my first company, since then I was using the account. Now my salary account in HDFC Bank has been converted to a savings account (Without informing me or warning me). When I logged into my account on 27 December 2023 for some reason and to my surprise what I saw was that I have a negative balance of Rs - 1121 was reflecting in my account. I request you to please take action against this and resolve the issue.

      I am Yogesh Kumar Jain and having a salary account in HDFC bank... Account number is 5010.[protected] and today I found that my bank balance is showing in negative balance with Rs. -2224 and showing as Mirevenue hold through GEFU
      It is a salary account and there should be no average monthly balance then why this hold
      Kindly resolve urgently

            I'M Sonu Kumar, From Faridabad (Haryana).
            I have a salary account - [protected] with HDFC bank. I have been charged "ACH debit return charges" of Rs 531 is deducted from my account and now my balance is showing -145.32 Rs on 26/12/2023.

            I have never been informed that this would be charged due to lack of funds. What are these charges for! Why are they so high. It is not a debt i have to pay. It is sip. How can you inculcate habit of regular savings if you penalise so harshly for not having balance.

            Hdfc bank has to return this money. There was no intimation from the bank.

              Reference No. of Case with HDFC is[protected]

              Pending Refund of Rs 29984/-

              On 09 Dec 2022, I was booking a flight on Spice Jet website for Delhi - Bagdogra. I used HDFC credit card for payment of Rs 14992.

              After Submitting the OTP for payment, the website redirected to homepage without confirming the ticket.

              Later, I found that additional 4 transactions of Rs 14992/- each (Total Rs 59968/- ) was charged on the card.

              02 Transactions amount Rs 29984/- have been refunded by the HDFC, but other 02 transactions for Total amount of Rs 29984/- is still pending since Dec 2022.

              It is requested that the pending amount of Rs 29984 may be refunded at the earliest.

              Email correspondences have been exchanged between me and HDFC Card since Dec 2022.

              All details sought by HDFC have been forwarded multiple times.

              The standard response that I get is that -"the case under processing and we will get back soon. "

              It's about one year since that incident.

              Please accord due priority to resolve the refund of Rs 29984/ at the earliest.

                HDFC Bank: UPI-Mandate for Rs 14400.00 could not be cancelled due to VA

                I applied for DOMS IPO for which I didn't get allocation and my funds are still freezed. I received SMS from bank i.e

                I checked my UPI app and it shows Mandate revoked. Kindly help on priority to resolve this issue....

                I am holding a salary (Savings) account in HDFC Bank (Account no. [protected]). Debit transactions were blocked from my account in September. I had a conversation with customer care and i was instructed to visit the nearest branch for KYC. I visited the nearest branch (Netaji chowk, Ulhasnagar) and did the needful. After one month of follow up, they told me to visit the home branch (Kamala Mills, Lower Parel).

                I visited the home branch in 1st week of November, and again did the whole KYC process and other formalities which i did in the nearest branch. After one month of follow up, i got no response from them. Suddenly i was called to give details of 500 (five hundred) UPI transactions i have done from my account since last one year (since the account opening month). I accordingly gave the details of all 500 transactions in the excel sheet that was shared with the nearest branch and i stayed in the branch for 2 hours and gave all the details.

                After all the follow up mails and messages and calls, i got no response from anyone, neither the nearest branch nor home branch. It is almost the end of december month and it has been almost 4 months and i have not received any information or update or solution. Every time i contact them for an update, they simply say that we have forwarded the complaint, we have forwarded your mail, etc. but no response.

                My Diwali festival got ruined because of this situation. I had plans for my family and i couldn't do anything. I had so much pressure on me for paying my monthly installments. I had to borrow money from others to pay the same. Since the organization where i was working before October, i was about to receive Salary and Full and Final settlement of two months together. I had received the same in my account but i could not use the same.

                Every month around Rs. 25000/- of installments goes from my account, but it has been really hard and frustrating sine last 3 months. I request you to please help me in this situation as i need my money as soon as possible to pay my debts.

                Also, since i changed my company in October, my registered mail id was associated with my previous company which is now inactive.                 Can you please tell me what should i put in the Ref. No. section?

                Also, i have raised this concern on this portal already 1 month ago. The ref. id that i received is 352194672. I received a mail thereafter and it was mentioned there
                "We understand that your query is being served by email reference number 34659448.

                Further, we have already taken up the query with the concerned team, and we will reply to your email via the same reference number on or before November 11, 2023."

                I never received any further response after that.

                        Hi Team,

                        Its my hard earned money Rs. 12000 which HDFC, Varthur Branch, Bangalore has deducted and used on the name of AMB. I raised complain to waive off previous charges and refund my entire money back in the account. But they never helped. I feel cheated and fraud done by HDFC bank itself.

                        They changed the rule from AQB to AMB (average monthly balance) without notifying me. No calls, no emails.

                        HDFC people responsible for this who eat my money are, Smriti Kumari Chandru [protected], Mrs. Partha [protected], Zonal Head [protected].

                        Bank is for customers and runs with customers and their requirements. Rules can be changed if customer is regular and loyal. Bank do not have any right to eat customers money without informing or their permission. I seek help and justice from India Consumer Complain Forum so that I can get my hard earned money back by Bank buglers.

                          Greetings
                          I do have 2 HDFC Life Insurance Policy. The Policy Number 20389381and 20389379 respectively.
                          I have requested for both the policy to convert as Paid up reason, since there is INR 520 deducting every month out of INR 4167 premium paying for each policy.
                          I send email for the same and told me it will take 75 days for conversion.
                          I requested why it is taking this much time and where it is mentioned in the policy for stating the same.
                          There is no reply for my complaint.
                          As a customer and policy holder I got frustrated and disappointed for this kind of behavior from HDFC life insurance Team
                          I need a proper reply for the same.

                              I'm writing this in regards to my HDFC salary account. All of a sudden I'm unable to make any transaction neither recieve any money. Keep getting error "low severity memo issued on debit account" . Bank did not intimated any information on this in prior and I'm in urgent need of funds as that is only account I've with my money and my family is dependent on it.
                              Please help to get this resolved or atleast tell me what for this memo is issued.

                                Respected sir/mam I am Sameer Kumar karna and I have Paytm hdfc credit card and on month of September unauthorised transaction occurred but the bank is saying I have done that but on that same day i blocked my card but after that I talked to bank customer executive to issue a new card so that I can pay the bills but bank is not issuing new card and I talked to Paytm customer care they told me we can not do anything bank will provide you the new card but they are not listening my word I have waited for 4month regarding that but they are including interest and it's affecting my cibil score also and also if I don't have a new card I can not pay the bill bcz previous card is blocked. And I talked with the nearest branch they told me that talk with Paytm and Paytm is saying talk with bank I am very much stressed from this kindly help me out from this

                                  I had opened the bank account through online ( Smart digital account) before two weeks and i had also completed the Video KYC and got all the confirmation with the Account number, Customer Id and IFSC code but till now it is not activated and i haven't got any welcome kit from bank and my amount is stuck in the bank and my account is under no debit condition. So, then i called to Customer care no and they said that to visit the nearest branch and then i had went to the near by branch in DRM road, sector 1 shakti Nagar, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh but still not get the resolution from the branch deputy manager and i went two times the same branch and both the times he answered me the same thing that " he has sent the mail and your account will be activated by tomorrows ". Now I don't know what to do because i am very irritated with the services. So, please resolve my issue asap

                                    I received an email saying that my a/c is blocked due to address change letter undelivered. Below are the sequence of events which I tried to get my account back.
                                    1. Called customer care and they suggested to visit nearest bank
                                    2. Called my RM, she said she will send an email to concern people and will keep me posted. Till today she is not responding to my calls
                                    3.Sent an email to [protected]@hdfcbank.com with detailed information on the issue. No resolution yet.
                                    4. Sent an email to nodal officer. No resolution yet.
                                    5. Raised complaint on website. No resolution yet.
                                    6. Visited nearest bank and explained my issue. They had no idea on why there is block on my account.
                                    7. Submitted a written letter. No resolution yet.

                                    this is the worst experience I got from HDFC. Pathetic service. Even managers have No knowledge on their own bank services. Don't call yourself as national bank. I am lost while trying to get my account back.
