Dear indian consumer complaints, rbi and hdfc bank,

Let me begin by saying that the hdfc bank has closed there customer support, a bank who has no customer support and people's money are involved here in this bank.

I purchased a product online at amazon.in, i cancelled it on that very day only due to financial reason. I needed to cancel my emi with hdfc.

This is my registered email id with my hdfc account - [protected]@gmail.com

I sent them all the details, and the confirmed loan is active but due to covid situation, they do not people available to cancel the loan hence they can not help, this is pathetic support from hdfc.

I filed a complain formally with rbi india. I will request hdfc to get this resolved and get the emi cancelled at the earliest.

No one is replying to any of the messages, email, phone call at hdfc, here are all the email id's, visited hdfc branch, no one helped me.

Branch visited : direct home branch : d 87/2, block d, baishnabghata patuli twp, patuli, kolkata, west bengal 700094 (No help received)

    I had purchased my iphone xr on 7th jan 2020 and as per the offer i was entitled to get a cash back of inr 5000 within 120 days from the transaction month. It’s been more than the designated timeline and i’m yet to receive any amount.

      Hi team, i activated my credit card before 3 months and added my vodafone postpaid bill on smartpay through my hdfc advisor. Rm - apoorve tiwari (Hdfc indore branch) they asked me to pay vodafone bill within 1 year through credit card to make it free of cost. I followed the same thing. But now i got my credit card bill in which it is showing addition credit card charge as well. They said that we will take responsibility and all our conversation has been recorded so you dont worry otherwise i was not interested for credit card but they forced me. Kindly assist for the same.

        I purchased shoes from ajio on an cashback offer from hdfc which provided for cashback within 3 months of purchase but now it has been 6 months and to no avail hdfc has not given cashback as promised. I e-mailed them regarding my concern but still they don't want to listen. They must not announce cashback offers if they don't want to adhere to timeline. They caused mental agony to me, which i am thinking to bring up to the notice of consumer court soon.

          We applied for emi moratotorium and request was accepted on 12th april 2020. Loan amount was already deducted on 6th of april i. E rs.50472.00. Only the emi for may was not been deducted on that 6th may. Now all of a sudden today 30th may hdfc bank suddenly charged rs.47552.00 for loan manual hold charge....

          I have bought my iphone11 with hdfc bank debit card on 23/01/2020 in poorvika mobile store chennai. As mentioned by hdfc bank (To receive cashback of 6000 within 120 days from the transactional month end) i haven’t received my cashback till now, it is more than 120 days. I have asked in poorviaka store, they said to check with bank. Hope this issue gets resolved and cashback will be credited as soon as possible.

          Still now i have not received any notification from HDFC credit card division. From the day one of purchase i have a problem on this purchase, first the EMI was not converted properly and i fought for that for one month and then now the cash back offer. Totally useless service. Please don't do any promotion like this to fool the customers.

            I had purchased for a mobile phone online (Amazon) on emi on the 19th of march 2020 against order id[protected]. The order was canceled on the 6th of april due to the current global crisis. The refund was initiated by amazon on the 7th of april 2020. On the 5th of may my debit card was charged for an emi of inr 8945 and bank charges of inr 221. On visiting the branch (Bombay scottish mahim mumbai) your employees have provided me with no solution but just a blame game. I have tried to call the credit card loan, consumer durable department and the only response i get is the department is not working, i have also dropped emails to the support, dispute department and received auto emails from the bank. It has been over `45 days now and i have no answer to this issue. I need the refund for the emi charged along with the bank charges

              We tried to connect with hdfc back on their customer care services multiple times. We have to report a fraud transaction with us. Their services are open to report a fraud transaction still they are not responding over the call by stating that they have less no. Of staffs available.

              Fraud is a crucial thing and being a big bank, hdfc should take responsibility for the same.

                4 months ago I purchased an IPhone 11 in Poorvika Mobiles Pvt LTD in Hubli. I've yet to receive my cashback of 6000/-. The banks are telling me to go to net banking ans check. It's not redemption points but plain old cash back. please sort it out.

                  Hdfc said 6000 cashback for the purchase of iphone 11 within 120 days using hdfc credit card.

                  But it is more than 120 days and there is no cashback

                    I contacted amazon about my refund issue. They said that their refund is processed and money will be reflected in bank account within 4 days. Its been 5 days since my amount isn't refunded. I contacted amazon and they told me to ask from the bank end. Hence please i want to know about this from the hdfc is there has been any requests of refund acceptance or not.

                          I have bought my iphone11 with hdfc bank debit card on 25/01/2020 at ARJAY RETAILS Bangalore. While purchasing there was an offer of Rs. 6000/- cashback on iphone11 from the HDFC Bank. As mentioned by hdfc bank (To receive cashback of 6000 within 120 days from the purchase date) I haven’t received my cashback till now, it is more than 120 days. I have asked in Arjay Retails, they said to cross check with the bank.

                            HDFC bank has been holding an amount of 1670.71 from my account from May 19th. The detail is showing "mirevenue hold through gefu". The Bank has failed to give the reason for the recovery and its charging such a big amount from the customers without any reason. Its ridiculous to levy such huge amount without the statement of charges. I need the refund of this amount.

                              no option to close insta jumbo loan on any digital platform

                              The process suggested is to call phone banking number for pre-closure of insta jumbo loan. But during this covid-19 crisis, i understand their call centers may not be staffed. When i call the phone banking number, i am asked to use other digital platforms. I don't see any provision for this. I have been trying to close this account early april 2020...

                              Hdfc fastag not yet received... Really very bad service from hdfc bank.. Applied on 11 Jan 2020, without any intimation through sms or tracking number they dispatched. Since i was not available on that day, so Blue dart told collect it from courier office. After when to the courier they asked for ier they asked for SMS from HDFC or Courier details. I failed to show because no information HDFC. I contacted customer care they told we will initiate Redispatch. After contacting customer care with multiple calls no response. Till now i didnt receive new tracking no or sms after redispatching... How a person know that whether it is redispatched or not?? How can i track it??

                              Every call customer care connecting taking 30mins for one call. After connecting the call Customer executive simply telling network issue call after 10mins or 1 hour.

                              This the value HDFC really giving for his own Customer !!!

                                I was charged rs. 2500 as renewal fee and rs. 450 as gst. The renewal fee was refunded while gst was not refunded. I asked for a copy of the rule from gst council. I have not received the same.
                                Please guide in getting back the gst charged.

As mentioned by hdfc bank (To receive cashback of 6000 within 120 days from the transactional month-end) I haven’t received my cashback till now, it is more than 120 days. I have asked in my store too, they said to check with the bank. I hope this issue gets resolved and cashback will be credited as soon as possible.
