Hyderabad.

I have got a call from HDFC bank for Credit card about a month ago, they told me about the offers and benefits then asked about my salary details. After confirming my eligibility for Credit card there representative visited my place filling in form and took all my required documents. Couple of days later i got SMS with my ref number. then got 2 3 verification calls one my Mobile and office numbers. I have received as sms stating that my card gas been approved in principle.

Then thereafter i have not received any further update from bank not a mail or call. Then I checked status on link given, I found out that application got declined but no reason provided for rejecting the application.

This is pathetic answer, being eligible with authenticate documents they are not giving any reason for my application decline.

I am highly disappointed with HDFC bank service and Customer care support.

    I had booked the fasttag almost at starting of dec 2019. But i couldn't see any sign of delivery. My reference number for the transaction is[protected]. Tryed to reach no response. Kindly i request you to throw some light on that, let me know the status of my order. Any approx delivery date??

      I had applied fastag online on hdfc website date 26 nov 2019 i got wallet id and customer id on my registered mail id and also i have received confirmation email that i will get fastag sticker in 7 working days. 30 days gone but fastag not yet received. I have tried many times to call on customer care number [protected]. Mostly this number busy and some time not answaring the phone. Some time i connected call and told them that fastag not yet received then he said fastag has been delivered by blue dart courier after that i asked docate numbers he told me then i checked on blue dart website found that fastag delivered in mumbai whenever this should be delivere in indore madhya pradesh. I have many time call on customer care but they enable to give me proper solution.

      I am very unhappy with hdfc bank customer care support and he not giving me mony back.

        Applied for hdfc fastag online with payment of rs.500, also uploaded the necessary supporting documents and vehicle registration certificate.
        After that i received customer id & wallet id on 10/12/2019 through sms and email. Even my wallet was recharged for inr.300. But still i haven't received fast tag sticker.
        The tollfree does not work and i'm struggling with fastag as it is going to be mandatory from 15th dec onwards.

          I am an existing HDFC Bank Credit Card and HDFC Bank Account(s) holder. I have been associated with your Bank for 7+ years, and had only good things to say about you.

          I have had numerous Credit Card transactions and EMI’s with you, of varying amounts (both lesser, and greater than INR 21, 269) and varying terms (3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years etc.)

          However this month, I have faced unprecedented ordeals with your PhoneBanking Team.
          I had made a transaction of INR 21, 269 (Transaction made on 10th December’ 2019, accepted by Merchant on 11th December’ 2019), and wanted to convert this amount to 12 months EMI. Hence, I called up your PhoneBanking team, to help me in this.

          However, your PhoneBanking agent Mr. Shashank Rawat, told me that I had made an INR 1 EXTRA payment on the previous transaction (of INR 399) on my Credit Card. There was a difference INR 0.12 (12 paisa), hence he would not be able to convert my transaction of INR 21, 269 into an EMI. I told him, that I can give my consent of considering the transaction of INR 21, 269, as INR 21, 270. This was to ease his activities, and help him convert my amount to EMI. I also asked him to see, if he can seek an adhoc approval to adjust the INR 1.00 excess payment I had made, and convert the transaction of INR 21, 269 into an EMI. However, he flatly refused and asked me to make a credit card transaction of INR 500-1000, for him to process my request. Being the mid of the month, I told him that I do not have any further transactions to make. At this point, he offered me a loan of INR 27, 000 against my credit card, and said that once I take a loan, I can make payments for both the loan and my transaction of INR 21, 269, as an EMI. Upon stating that I DO NOT want a loan, I was told that this is the only solution.

          Subsequently, I spoke to Madhu Sharma, Sumbul Yasmeen, Dolly and her Supervisor Ravinder Kumar Singh (13th December’ 2019, 11:43 AM), and others as well from your PhoneBanking team. However, I faced the same apathy from each of your agents. In fact, when I wanted to speak to Sumbul’s Supervisor to clear things out, she requested me not to make any complaint against her (as she might lose her job). Subsequently, I decided not to raise a complaint at that time.

          When I spoke to Dolly later, she asked me for my account number for validation. When I told her that HDFC PhoneBanking agents are not supposed to ask for customer’s account numbers, she refused to proceed further. I asked to speak to her Supervisor. She connected me to Ravinder Kumar Singh, who showed apathy and was disinterested in helping me. When told that I may need to highlight his behavior, he told me to do as I want to.

          I was forced to close my FD account with HDFC prematurely, to pay the entire amount pending in my credit card, in one go.

          I again called up PhoneBanking, and this time was connected to your agent Daisy Singh. I told her of the ordeal I had gone through so far, and asked her to terminate my Credit Card permanently. This time your agent empathized with me, and raised a Credit Card Closure request for me (Complaint ID [protected], dated 13th December’ 2019 1414 hours). She told me that my credit card would be permanently closed in 10 days. I may receive a confirmation call about the credit card closure. However, I told her that it won’t be possible for me to receive calls on weekdays.

          Later, I got a call from one of your agents who asked me about the problems I had faced. I again elaborated my troubles. He assured me of prompt action, and asked me not to close my credit card. However, I told him as well, that I now want to close my credit card permanently.

          I called your PhoneBanking again on 22nd December’ 2019, to reconfirm the status of credit card closure request (Complaint ID [protected], dated 13th December’ 2019 1414 hours). I was shocked to know that my complaint has already been closed. I was told that I had asked for my credit card to be retained ! However, I had never asked my credit card to be retained.

          Again, I highlighted my ordeal to your PhoneBanking agent Vaishali Rawat, and asked to speak to her Supervisor. She told me that her Supervisor would tell me the same thing. She was apprehensive too, in transferring the call. After much persuasion, she transferred the call to Kanishka Anand (her Manager).

          I again highlighted my issues to Kanishka, who promised to look into the matter, and assured me of a speedy resolution. Also, Kanishka confirmed that Daisy herself had done a Credit Card retention request on the same call, WITHOUT my consent. Till date though, my credit card has not been permanently closed, and NO HELP/ assistance has been provided.
          Based on the experiences above, please provide answers to the following questions:

          • I have maintained a good credit score (Credit Score: 890). I have also had numerous Credit Card transactions and EMI’s with you, of varying amounts (both lesser, and greater than INR 21, 269) and varying terms (3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years etc.). I was also willing to accept the total charges of INR 24, 000, if my transaction was converted into a 12 months EMI. Why was it so difficult to convert my transaction of INR 21, 269 (Transaction made on 10th December’ 2019, accepted by Merchant on 11th December’ 2019), into an EMI for 12 months ?

          • I have never taken any loans from anyone, do not have any pending loans, and don’t foresee myself taking any loans. Considering that I NEVER wanted a loan of INR 27, 000 (with a loan interest of minimum 1.5%), please advise why I was offered a loan by your agent (Shashank Mehta) ?

          • I was made to understand that both EMI’s and Loans are considered to be loans, by you. However, if a customer has only made a transaction of INR 21, 269, why should he be forced to take a loan of INR 27, 000 (with a loan interest of minimum 1.5%), and pay a total of INR 30, 000 (INR 9, 000 extra) ?

          • Why did your agent (Dolly) ask for my Bank Account number for verification, when RBI and your bank’s guidelines, clearly state that a customer should not share such details with anyone ?

          • I have been calling your PhoneBanking service since 10th December’ 2019, for a call average of 90 minutes per day, for about 10 days so far. I have spoken to at least 10-15 PhoneBanking agents, and have still not received a resolution. Why do you need to trouble your customers so much, for a simple EMI conversion ?

          • Once I had raised a Credit Card permanent closure request, why was the Credit Card permanent closure request resolved, without my consent ?

          • I never asked/ requested for my Credit Card to be retained. However, I was informed on 22nd December’ 2019, that the Credit Card has been retained on my request. Why have I not received any copy of my request so far, on my email ID or SMS ?

          • As your team has stated that I had asked my Credit Card to be retained, I need a copy of this request (where I have stated my Credit Card retention request). Does this not amount to fraudulent business practices ?

          • Why was Complaint Number 11011799, closed abruptly, without providing any resolution/ consultation with me ?

          I need answers to EACH of the questions above SEPARATELY. Please DO NOT close this request prematurely, without consultation with me. Do let me know if you are incapable of providing timely resolutions, so that I can escalate this further. I am not available to take calls readily, however, I am always accessible on emails.

              On 27th of 2019 i had applied online via hdfc bank fastag portal for the fastag. However due to the error in the online system 3 times payment of rs.500/- got debited from my saving account. Surprisingly against those 3 payment 2 application generated. I. E. Hfr646384 & hfr646210. Next day i had launched the complaint with all the necessary evidences through concern branch. Case number is 10805943. After 10 days i got the fastag against the application no. Hfr646384 as well as refund of rs. 500/-. But one more refund is still pending against the application no. Hfr646210 as it was generated because of online system error. After that again on 06th of dec. 2019 another complaint was launched through the concern person of the bank. Case no. Is 10879347. But till today i have not received any kind o[censored]pdate on this issue nor refund of rs. 500/-

                Hi I have applied for fastag from HDFC, My fastag application number is : HFR01172552 on 17/12/2019. I have received a email from HDFC bank prepaid cards stating that application has been received and reference number is HR[protected] and representatives will get in touch soon but it has been a week and i have not received call from any representative and not even a single update regarding application status. I tried reaching customer care at[protected] today and customer care agent simply stated it will take another 15days and i have not received any proper response.
                Am a Preferred Banker customer and its a worst case i have seen from HDFC. What is point of me being a privileged customer in HDFC, totally disappointing.
                I expect customer care executives to please look it this issue and rectify at the earliest. Thank you.

                    I had taken a consumer durable loan to buy refrigerator amounting 47500. At the time of buying I was said 5% cashback from HDFC bank. The cashback should be processed in 90 days. But the cashback was not processed so when inquired the customer representatives said that they did not have such offer. But I shared the proof of delivery order from HDFC Bank stating the offer. Still they are not proceeding with the cashback and not giving any valid reason.

                        I have given complaint ragarding my fastag. Till now no response from the concerned authorities...
                        I have a fastag which is linked to HDFC bank. It shows the tag is suspended and wallet is freezed because this i am not able to use this.
                        I have raised the complaint at the toll free number many times but no use at all. Also its shows that the login for the same fastag is blocked. Not able to do anything.
                        I request HDFC bank to close my fastag account and return my balance amount.

                          I have paid for fastag via online portal and the HDFC application number is HFR593356, which was paid on 26 November 2019

                          I have not received any notification on the delivery after a month. The customer helpline # published by HDFC is not reachable at all. There is no email address provided by HDFC bank to contact them on this subject and get it resolved.
                          I would like to get my fastag against the application # HFR593356 as soon as possible or a complete refund of Rs 600, which was charged, for the fastag

                            I have applied for hdfc fastag online with the help of the fastag service member with payment of rs 500. I have uploaded all the necessary supporting documents and rc book pdf on 23rd november 2019. My personal bank manager given me the phone no of the fastag person. After doing all the steps and payment, i have received my customer id and wallet id on 27th nov 2019 at 1:21 am and same time i have received another msg also regarding my fastag recharge. [protected] this is reference transaction number.

                            After 20 days i have called that person but he didn't picked my call, next day morning he picked call and told me i will check and tell you. After that he not receiving my calls.

                            Today, 26th dec 2019 i have him but same he not received calls so i messaged him on whtsapp and i asked him about manager no that time he told me you have call personal banker and take no. But i told him, you proccessed my fastag so you have to give number then he shared one mobile number. I called her, she received call and i told her everything then she said will check there are some issues. She given me one link to check status, i have checked there it is showing payment failed. But amount deducted from my account and in wallet it is showing a balance then how it is showing payment status failed. She also not receiving my calls now.
                            My personal banker also not receiving my calls right now.

                            The tollfree does not work, always the number busy and i'm struggling with fastag as it is mandatory.

                              Hi Team,

                              Based on the Advertisement from HDFC had a raised a request with HDFC Bank for Fastag on 30thNov'2019. However still have not received the Physical Fasttag. Also the Customer Care numbers displayed on the website is not functional[protected] /[protected] since no one responds.

                              Even after couple emails to hdfcbank.[protected]@1pay.in NO RESPONSE.

                              As a Customer I just cannot wait without knowing the current status, If HDFC BANK cant issue the FASTTAG as Requested or provide necessary update to the customer, REFUND the amount and cancel the request saying HDFC bank is not able to handle your request.
                              So that many customers like me who are waiting for the FASTTAG from HDFC, Can basically opt for other banks/vendor who has the capacity to issue the FASTTAG to customers.

                                I have applied for the fasttag from hdfc bank fastag portal on nov 22nd 2019 today is 26th dec 2019. I have paid 500rs on nov 22nd 2019 but till now i didn't got any response from hdfc and physical fastag is not received from bank and their customer service number is also not reachable. They should provide a tracking number or sms which clarify the current status of fastag.

                                  I have applied HDFC fastag through online on 15th and made payment also. The reference number of the application is HRF01116017.

                                  I received the message on 18th that my Fastag has been successfully issued but yet not received the Fastag yet.

                                  There is no way to contact hdfc fastag guys as the customer care number given is busy or not being attended.

                                  The purpose of applying Fastag online is faster . Please update on the status.

                                    Hi,
                                    Today (26/12/2019) i received a call from this number [protected] which was from hdfc life insurance in the afternoon when i was busy working. I talked with ms. Neha who like any other telecaller started explaing me the product straight away without understanding my interest.
                                    Within few seconds, i told her, "thank you, ma'am i am not interested".
                                    This was the exact communication and i have the recording for my support if needed.
                                    Somehow by this she got offended and said the i should have told this in the beginning and why i made her to explain the product and before i could say something she disconnected the call.
                                    I tried calling on that number to understand the reason for her rudeness as i definitely know that these guys are not trained to talk in this manner.
                                    I also dropped her a message mentioning the same but there was no response.
                                    Ultimately i found this platform and i don't know how much effective is this but i am trying out my luck.
                                    I would like to know the status of my complaint and the actions taken against the same.

                                    We understand this people are doing their job, but we don't expect in return what has happened.
                                    Who should be responsible for this?

                                        On 2nd December, I had applied for 3 fastags for my 3 vehicles, Two cars & 1 LMV. Payment of Rs.1600/- as demanded was paid from my Citibank Credit Card.
                                        Vehicle numbers (1)car - GJ06KP1845 (2)car - GJ06LK5674 and (3)lmv - GJ06VV6673
                                        I have received the Fastag for my 2Cars but have not received any confirmation or the Fastag for the (3) LMV vehicle GJ06VV6673 (Fastag still Pending).
                                        HDFC Toll free number is useless which never gets connected and is permanently busy. There is no specific email to complain directly to HDFC Fastag department. We have to only wait endlessly without any information or file our complaint on this forum.
                                        Request HDFC to expedite the process for issuing the Fastag and dispatch to our address as registered in our application.
