Sir,
1. I had applied for BHARAT credit card of HDFC Bank through online. My application reference No is 19G[protected]N1.
2. After submitting of request through online, Ms Anita[protected], Tele caller of HDFC Bank (Branch Vikaspuri, New Delhi) contacted me on my mobile ([protected]) and asked my details like portfolio / department / source of income / possession of credit/debit card etc for the purpose of eligibility for the said credit card. According to Ms Anita, I was fulfilling all the criteria for issuance of the above said credit card from HDFC Bank. Then, Mr Vikram, Executive of HDFC Bank ([protected]) had come at my residence on 27 Jun 19 and collected the following documents:-
(a) Application Form duly completed in all respect.
(b) A copy of Aadhar Card
(c) A copy of PAN Card
(d) A copy of Salary Slip for the month of May 19
(e) A copy of Axis Bank SB a/c statement of three consecutive months (All the papers were attested by me in the presence of Mr Vikram, Executive)
3. On 12 Jul 19, I learnt through online that I have been DECLINED for the said credit card without giving any reason.
4. I am too much surprised to know that after collecting the form and supporting documents (Govt valuable documents), how I became “ineligible” for the said credit card, whereas before collecting the papers I was eligible for the card.
5. I had contacted the HDFC Bank but no satisfactory reply on the following issues was provided to me:-
(a) What was the reason for delay of processing of my application for credit card
? (The said form alongwith supporting documents were collected on 27 Jun 19 and it was processed on 09 Jul 19).
(b) Why the actual reason of DECLINING my application been kept hidden ?
(c) Why Mr Vikram, Executive collected the application form along with supporting documents from me, if I was ineligible ?
6. After not getting satisfactory reply, I approached to Mr Manikandan P.S, Manager Grievance Cell for the exact reason for declining for the said credit card. But, once again I have been given a set reply vide Para 3 of e-mail Q. Ref No [protected]. No executive of HDFC Bank had clarified me the exact reason for declining for the said credit card till today.
7. I, therefore, request you to look into the matter and intimate me the actual reason for declining me Bharat Credit Card of HDFC Bank at the earliest.
