I had applied for hdfc cc & submitted all the required documents and information for application form.
After a day or two received multiple sms and calls regarding cc processing, one of those sms was this :
"dear applicant your hdfc bank credit card app ref no [protected]n1 is approved in principle subject to internal checks"
After that received telephonic verification calls & physical verification at office & residential address.
But yesterday i received mail from bank that they are incapable to process my application without specifying any reason. Following is the mail:
"
Dear sir/madam,
Subject : your credit card application reference no. [protected]n1
Thank you for your interest in hdfc bank credit card.
We wish to inform you that your application has been considered in line with the bank's internal credit policy (Which is based on a combination of financial and related criteria and/or statistically determined scores to assess credit eligibility) and operating/credit processes (Which include a combination of verifications, credit bureau reports and document verifications). We regret to inform you that we are unable to approve your application as it does not meet the above mentioned internal criteria of the bank.
Please be assured that our inability to approve the credit card application does not reflect in anyway on your credit standing or your financial stability."
It is really disappointing that after collecting all the docs and verifications still not giving the reason. This also makes feel insecure about our document to be miss used like pan card, aadhar card, bank statements, pay slips as all these are private properties.
So hoping to get some resolution i am posting it here.

Updated by manu11690 Ok I agreed. But, what about my documents . Now your are not processing my Credit card application then revert back my documents to me at earliest
