Website: I want to close my account immidiately

Dear sir,

I really have a very worst experience with hdfc bank while closure of my salary bank account no [protected] in the name of shaikh nazir shaikh shabbir, as my home branch in sahar road branch andheri (E), and i filed my application at my home branch, and also my account is not closed and i did so many calls to the executive, she said we checked sir its in process, and i still got msgs of nergative bal in my account by text msg, nothing facility was closed on the account. Plz if this site help me out in this so plz help me in this matter, i really want that rbi should take some step against such situation that come in front of the customer

    Bad experience with home loan from HDFC Ltd. and that too for NRI case.
    I ended up sending email to company MD.

    Attached is screenshot of mail sent to company MD and still no satisfactory action being taken to resolve issue.

    Hi Aditya Puri Sir,

    Good morning.
    My name - xxxxxxxx. I am based out of New York. I have taken home loan from HDFC limited from Pune Branch in the month of January 2018. I have approached to HDFC Bank and they routed me to HDFC Limited.
    I have some issues to highlight for your reference.

    Let me explain everything in detail :

    The loan was disbursed on 16th January 2018. On the same day during disbursement all documents including multiple copies of ACH form were submitted. Without that disbursement cheque wouldn't have been issued, right?
    I was being told that on 16th of every month EMI amount will be debited from my NRO account.
    I did see on February 16th a charge being made to my NRO SBI account of EMI amount.
    Around March 25th realized that auto-debit didn't happen on planned 16th March. I ended up reaching SBI asking if they denied any transaction. Well, they said nothing was denied.
    I came back to HDFC asking for what has gone wrong and why I wasn't intimated about no transaction. After lot of to-fro, I was being told to pay it thru "paynimo" which I did.
    Are you seeing funny side here - Customer is coming to bank and saying loan EMI was not debited from account, please do that.
    From 16th January until March 25th I didn't receive a single email or phone call from HDFC about any issue or anything.

    Things doesn't stop here. I happened to send subsequent emails about sorting the issue. Again, I am not receiving any response.
    Just go thru below mail-chain and you will realize there is no response on my last 2 emails sent in last 14 days. You will see few more emails sent out to different teams in HDFC and no response received from them either.
    I do understand that there is time window of 24-48 hrs to respond back to customer. But look here, customer is not getting response for almost 10 days even after sending reminder email. Is that what you call good customer service?
    After recent incidents India has seen about businessmen taking bank loan and fleeing out of country, a genuine customer like me coming upfront and asking bank to charge me for Loan EMI and bank people are not even responsible enough to do their duty and not even sending a single email saying "we are working on it"? Or bank is going to charge customer for late payment and then notify me? All I am saying is at-least keep customer informed.

    AND YES, I DON'T SEE EMI BEING DEBITED FROM MY ACCOUNT FOR THIS MONTH AS WELL.
    Hope after this email, you can guide your team to take necessary measures so that I don't have keep doing this every month for next 15 years/ until loan closure.
    Is that the customer service I should expect that too NRI case? I pity for the customers who live in India and take bank loan from HDFC.
    Extremely disappointed that's what I can say!!!

    All I can say - proving to be one of the worst decision I have taken by choosing this bank. I wish I could have gone with trusted bank like SBI or IDBI.
    I have never been into such sort of situation in USA where customer has to go to bank to ask them to charge for EMI. Any kind of banking service is just a call away or click away from your computer.

    Looks like I have to go thru proper channel if they end up charging me any late payment for their mistake.

      My name is Praveen Kumar and I have taken a credit card from HDFC BANK. Last year 3 months months I didn't pay the due amount from September to November because I having family issues that and in that situation I forgot to pay my number which was registered that time with bank was lost. I called HDFC BANK in the month of December 26, 2017 and that time they told me that my card limit is Rs.27000 which has been over due to Rs. 32000 including all interests and told me to pay minimum due amount of Rs. 5600. I have paid the minimum due amount but they have not updated the same and in my netbanking it was reflecting Rs. 35000. I called them multiple times and visited to my nearest branch they didn't even bother to reply me and bank people were telling that we do not handle credit card that is separate department my issue can be resolved only by contacting customer care but my registered number was lost I requested to update my new number for that also they told me make request from customer care helpline number. In the month of February I only called them to know how can I pay for this month they said they will get back on this but they didn't reply and my due amount again increased to 36000. After that I called to HDFC customer care helpline number from my number they didn't connect because my number was still not registered. Somehow I tried again and it got connected and I asked them why my paid amount is not updated they said that the amount which I paid was only interest as my over due amount was 35000 in the month of December and still need to pay 36000. I told them this cheating and told them until and unless my amount status is not updated I will not make the payment they said they will send a legal notice but I didn't agree to pay the amount and didn't even have the Interest details how they charged. Later in the month of March I got a call from HDFC bank collection department to 13700. I told them I will not because ur bank has updated wrongly and now it is asking me to pay 39000. Later from customer recovery I got to that HDFC bank has a main branch for credit collection in richmond circle bangalore I visited there and met Vishal he is a manager. I told him my problem and told that I will pay only 30000 remaining amount I told it is wrongly updated I m not going to pay that and I will not go for settlement also which will effect my sibil score he said wait for April 15th he will check with his higher authorities and will reduce it but now he is not at all replying me and not answering my call and the recovery agent Ashok is mentally harresing me everyday and telling he will send a notice to my home town and telling to pay now the full amount and make a request of reversal for the wrongly updated amount after make complete payment because of this my sibil score is also effected pls help me my number is [protected].

        I ordered a FASTag from HDFC Bank after getting frustrated from the pathetic service of Paytm in this regard. I paid ₹300 as per the order requirement. Instantly got an sms alert that my profile has been created. My customer ID is[protected] and Wallet Id is [protected]. But since 25th April I don't have any clue when will the product get delivered. Tried calling customer care to know the same and they asked to drop a mail to a NON-HDFC email ID who never bothered to revert. I desperately need the tag as I have tremendous touring job. A token knowledge of dispatch will help a lot. Why don't we deserve to get this much support when you aren't giving things for charity? We pay our hard earned money however meagre the amount might be. I don't deserve to be ignored by you. Proof of sms alertare attached.

          I have applied for settlement in november 2017, due to huge financial crises. Bank aloted me 4 installments with 1 month grace. I have received settlement paper and i just somehow paid the whole money with struggle in april. Now official claims all my settlement was cancelled without informing me and are asking to pay the whole amount from the beginning in full. They are asking me triple the total amount i have spent i the begining with all penalties. I am already in huge debt trap. May be my death can only punish these money looting goons.

            We are your bank regular customer. My all family and my own company account in your bank. Every year our transaction is very high from to my company account. My own bolero zlx accident by me. But when i did to claim hdfc. Than surveyor given wrong report to rejection my claim. I think hdfc insurance claim department should be carefully on that surveyor.               On 27th april 2018 368 rs was deducted from my HDFC account. and they didn't inform this deduction through mail or message.
              Without any information Deducting money from my account describing AMB charge INCL GST. This bank is harassing their customer by deducting such amount without any information. This is not fair that you are harassing your customer by such deductions without prior information. So i am requesting you to refund all this amount in my account otherwise I will do complaint against this to RBI and Consumer Forum.

                  I'm using hdfc credit card. Without any intimation you have deducted the amount of 1899 from my credit card

                  As last year also i requested you to cancel but you have said that the plan will be cancelled in one year but now it was again repeated and saying that auto renewed without my approval or even not intimated.

                  Kindly cancel this plan and request you to refund the amount of rs:1899. This is unacceptable that you have been repeating the same.

                      I am mohammed tanveer ahmed resident of rajendra nagar r. R dist 3 months before i applied for hdfc credit card and all verification are done by the company but recent i just got to know that my application got rejected without any reason but the agent says that my verification is done and my feedback also positive and no problem from the bank but its more then 2 months and now i didnt get any response from the agent as i called them many time and even message to them they just cut my call every time i tried to call them i doubt that my personal data stolen by that agent to use for some other purpose i want to do complaint against that agent

                          This is regarding ATM dispute that cash was not dispense from the atm on 7th March 2018. I have lodge a complaint on 8th March 2018 MUMP[protected] several times but you are unable to solve the same. I have done all the formalities that has to be done related to this dispute but till time I haven't get any  solution. All the time phone banking representatives gave new complaint number with time of one week.

                          Nehru place Branch manager Mrs. Puneet Kaur are unable to solve this as they were saying that you to contact on phone banking services and I am completely frustrated from these kind of services. According to RBI guidelines you have to solve these type of complaint within week otherwise bank will pay 100/- per day after one week of complaint. Every time they provide ne new complain number .this is such a worst service I get, I feel so shame to calling just of Rs. 4000/- .

                          So after passing a week again I CALL ON CUSTOMER CARE and they provided me new complaint number i.e. DELC[protected] dated now they said they want one more week to resolve this what the ### they are doing I don't know what going on personally I get frustrated as it is not of amount 4000/- but its all about services that your are providing.
                          I feel such a shame that I am part of HDFC bank

                          For your kind information Central Bank of India Branch manager was confirmed that the fund has dispense first a fall this is your job not his or my job . When I asked to check the CCTV footage to one of your phone banker he said that this is not my job and told me that this should be done from customer end.
                          If a customer service person has decided not to help you, or been unfriendly and caused you to feel embarrassed about what’s happened, that is unacceptable. I may had a great call with a customer service person who promised a satisfying solution, but that promise isn’t kept by his/her promise. I am the customer of your bank more the 3 year and up until now I don't know what is the issue and why it take so much time .

                            In spite of repeated requests since more than one year, hdfc is not sending me my credit card statements by post. I don't want e-statements. I need physical statements. I had asked your agents for this several times but there is no use.i think I am a good costumer but your not providing your service.i had been paying my min.balance but your agents failed to give a good answer.

                                On 03 jan 2018 I bought Google pixel 2 SmartPhone from Flipkart (online purchase) for my friend Mr Raveesh on 3 Months emi basis, during sale it was mentioned on website a cashback of 8000rs on Google pixel 2 SmartPhone if we buy in emi
                                Offer was valid from 3 Jan 2018 to 31 Jan 2018, so I bought phone for him on my credit card on 3 Months installment, on that point of time there was offer, but now its been more than 20 25 days i have not received any kind of cashback inspite of 90days duration is Also over,
                                I have logged many complaints in customer care but unable to find any solution of my complain.
                                They guys are not helping me
                                Kindly help me in this regard, i will attach few documents and screen shot of the bill

                                  I have opened an account with hdfc securities on dec 2017 with 4 sip of 2500 each ...first month all deductions has been made normally but from next month onwards no installments has been deducted from my hdfc account..i have gone many times hdfc securities but no further actions has been taken..i made my account through hdfc securities with miss madhurima [protected].. i call her many times but she havnt reply me yet i am still facing lots of problems...neccesary actions should ne taken imediately otherwise i dont want to continue this sip anymore ...kotak is best in sip but hdfc is very bad...since i am a media person i have to go to higher authorities if i will not find the solution ...waiting for ur earliest reply...

                                    I withdrew rs 20000 on 26th april 2018 on receiving money i was surprised to find one fully torn note of rs 500, on quering the gaurd was say to me change torn note rs 500 to cashier of mohan co-operative branch/atm but execeutive do not change my torn note rs 500 he saying lodged the complaint then we change the torn note rs 500 i am lodged the complaint (Delc[protected]) no response also i am waiting an hour i am very fed up with hdfc bank. Worst bank for public.

                                      I had applied for hdfc cc & submitted all the required documents and information for application form.

                                      After a day or two received multiple sms and calls regarding cc processing, one of those sms was this :
                                      "dear applicant your hdfc bank credit card app ref no [protected]n1 is approved in principle subject to internal checks"

                                      After that received telephonic verification calls & physical verification at office & residential address.

                                      But yesterday i received mail from bank that they are incapable to process my application without specifying any reason. Following is the mail:
                                      "
                                      Dear sir/madam,
                                      Subject : your credit card application reference no. [protected]n1
                                      Thank you for your interest in hdfc bank credit card.

                                      We wish to inform you that your application has been considered in line with the bank's internal credit policy (Which is based on a combination of financial and related criteria and/or statistically determined scores to assess credit eligibility) and operating/credit processes (Which include a combination of verifications, credit bureau reports and document verifications). We regret to inform you that we are unable to approve your application as it does not meet the above mentioned internal criteria of the bank.

                                      Please be assured that our inability to approve the credit card application does not reflect in anyway on your credit standing or your financial stability."

                                      It is really disappointing that after collecting all the docs and verifications still not giving the reason. This also makes feel insecure about our document to be miss used like pan card, aadhar card, bank statements, pay slips as all these are private properties.

                                      So hoping to get some resolution i am posting it here.

                                      Then how can I process my application and please specify the reason for disapproval ... either I have to apply once again or you will re process the same

                                        After so many times i request to caller to remove my number from you calling list but still getting irritating call from your system with 3 modes:
                                        1. Personal call by employee
                                        2. System automated call with number start with 1409* something
                                        3. (If i block above number) then i got call from normal mobile number with same recording.

                                        If i block all above three numbers then i am getting calls with different numbers.
                                        Now my blocking list almost full and no more blocking number now accepting.

                                        Seriously i got so much irritates with this jumbo loan call and sms.
