I am HDFC Bank account holder. Most of the time HDFC bank keep deducting small charges without informing but this time they deducted Rs 5000 and additional charges of Rs. 618 for annual locker fee, which is almost 4 times higher than last year. This is really annoying. If HDFC bank can flood our mail box with loan, credit card related promotional mails, then why cant they inform us about revised charges via mail? Who gave them this right to deduct money from our account as and when they want? Even looking at HDFC website, we still see old charges detail. (I have Medium locker, and falls under city category C) http://www.hdfcbank.com/htdocs/common/rates_quick_glance/Deposit_accounts_prd_gl... For small charges people are usually not complaining, but how can they deduct big amounts without prior notice? Is there anyone who can help here? Else only option we have to close every single account with HDFC.

    Hi, Would like to inform you that I applied for hdfc credit card since 1 month but I didn't get yet. I have submitted all the required hard copies 2 times to your executive. Now the time I checked my status is showing residence proof still require. I have word with with customer care they said I need to be send residence proof at you chennai head office due to this it has been on hold. My office verification has been done by bank already. Now I got message from bank end this "Dear Applicant Your HDFC Bank CreditCard appl [protected]N1 is takenup for re-processing. We will confirm status in 7 days". My request you to please look into this. If possible please arrange any one to collect rest of the documents which you require finally. Please find the attachment of my residence proof.       I did online transaction for HDFC bank Regalia credit card payment ending with 1107 from my Axis bank net banking account on[protected].The amount of transaction was Rs 64210/-(sixty four thousand two hundred ten rupees). The said card is no more in use, in lieu of the card HDFC bank issued another credit card ending with 0606. The amount 64210/- should be credited to HDFC bank credit card ending with 0606 instead of 1107. Requested to sort out the online transaction & transfer the amount to Credit card 0606.

        Dear Sir, My question is still same.Please provide answer... 1st Question: I am having one SB account no. . I have avail medium locker since 2012. They have deduct every year on 1st April @ 1250 Rs as base rate. But on 1st April-15 they deducted 3000 Rs. Due to this my minimum balance are effected ...goes to under 10000 Rs. Why without intimation you have deduct 3000 Rs? 2nd Question : Without intimation how you will revised the charges 1250 Rs to 3000 Rs? 3rd Question : Due to this minimum balance goes under 10000 Rs, Who will pay penalty? Please rectify the amount on urgent. I have deactivate SMS insta alert but not deactivate email communication. I have not received any email regarding the same. I was try to contact local branch Manager: Berhampore Laldighi Branch (IFSC Code: 0639) is on leave. Others employees are not listing any word. Please do the needful.           Let me explain the ordeal that I am going through with HDFC bank Credit cards - Regalia I am an existing HDFC bank account holder for over 10 years now ( classic customer with personal banker attached who gives prompt call asking for shares/investments!) and I had a pretty decent credit card without any annual fee. Sometime in the beginning of 2014 I got a call from HDFC stating congratulations you have just won a brand new Credit Card as free upgrade which gives more redeem reward points on every money you spend, and that too life time free card. Unfortunately HDFC will only migrate 40% of existing points to the new one as HDFC cannot afford the huge loss it will incur otherwise!!!. I fell pray to this and accepted the card. On May 3rd 2014 I got an SMS to my registered mobile stating first year annual fee is free and then onwards Rs 2500+ Service tax(attached the SMS here). I knew I was taken for a ride but still thought that's fine let them take it. Now on March 24th 2015 they have deducted Rs 5618/- against RENEWAL MEM FEE INCL ST AND CESS. I noticed this on 29th and informed personal banker on 30th and 31st. I was given assurance that she will get back to me but it never happened. On 2nd April I called phone banking and logged a complaint. The agent too confirmed that he see Rs 2500+ ST against my card, this deduction maybe an error and will be corrected through the complaint no. All good(sic) On 9th April I got the call from back office stating my annual fee is Rs 5000+ ST and deduction is valid. When I mentioned him about the SMS he gave the customer service cards email id and asked me to share the SMS. I shared the same, to my rude shock they have rejected my claim stating the deduction is Rs 5618 /- and not Rs 2500+ ST. I called phone banking to verify the status again, and now agent too see Rs 5000 + ST!!! I have again contested this but I am sceptical now. I am looking forward to close all the accounts with HDFC in the near future.

          New status: They still repeat their words that i opted pricing of Rs 5618 and that's it. There is no reply to my question as to show proof of the same and should i trust their SMS or not ? Or check the call sample with phone banking on April 2nd where agent confirms my payment amount is 2500+ ST. I appreciate HDFC to continue looting its customers.

          New update: I now have email confirmation from HDFC that they will revert the charges in next bill. Further my credit card is life time complimentary and there will no annual fee. I thank HDFC for looking into my issue and resolving it.

          my name is Sk. Siraj Ali and I'm a 10+ years old customer of HDFC back. I have three account in HDFC bank including my salary account. My enrolled mobile number is [protected] and email id [protected]@gmail.com.

          I'm using HDFC debit as well as credit card that was provided by my local HDFC bank and was satisfied with the serviced provided till last month.

          Couple of months back I had an issue in my HDFC refurbishment account and it got deactivated, I have visited to my nearest HDFC branch (Salt Lake, Sector 5, Kolkata) and they have done the needful to make it activated.

          In that visit they advised me to upgrade my existing Credit Card with Regalia Card (Card No ending with 2210). They told me that it will be a corporate card (as I'm working with Tata Consultancy Services) and I do not have to pay any charges i.e. lifetime free card.

          Last month (October'15) post my bill pay I was surprised to see a Debit of Rs.2, 850.00 as credit card annual fee. Also, I have not received any SMS for the transaction too.

          This is really a worst situation and I'm entirely not happy with the transaction. I have also visited the same HDFC branch and asked for the explanation and not satisfied with the answer. I have send mail to customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com and got an auto generated acknowledgement (#[protected] but not got any call from them.

          Requesting you to revert back the exact amount to my account ASAP and continue with a healthy business.

          Hello,

          I am going through the same issue right now. I am HDFC customer from 2006 and using HDFC credit card since around 2007. Till last year I did not have to pay any renewal/yearly fee on my credit card. My card was about to expire in March 2015 and hence I was sent a new card - Regalia. No information was provided to me about the charges attached to it, so I never thought of checking it since the earlier cards didn't have any yearly charges. While checking the credit card account information a couple of days back, I was shocked to see the renewal charges of Rs. 2862 which I was never told of. So, I contacted customer care and was informed that the Regalia card has renewal fee of Rs. 2500 + Taxes if my yearly spending is not Rs. 3 lakhs. This was a shocker for me because I am a normal service going person and cannot spend yearly 3 lakhs on credit card. So, definitely this card is not for me.
          So, my only request is to waive off this charges and give me a regular card which is free (as I had earlier). If you can't do that, I will have to deactivate this credit card and stop using it. Please consider that I am associated with HDFC bank since 2006 and have take several personal, auto loans through HDFC and my credit card record is also good.
          Please let me know what you can do to fix this.

          Thanks for the reviews, I just got a phone call from my HDFC classic banking representative offering a lifetime free regalia credit card. He tried to lure me for an instant yes, but I managed to get some time to reply. When he calls me again for that he would get a big NO.
          I don't want a credit card now, and don't want to take a chance putting myself into this trouble.
          Samething happened to me. i am using HDFC bank for 5 yrs and a Classic customer for long time with Regalia card. It is offered to me by personal bankar that it is life time free card. got annual fee charged. i feel these HDFC guys are most useless guys.

            I have purchased Hdfc life click 2 protect plus from HDFC jaipur Receipt no-Aa225674, proposal /policy no[protected], dated-10/02/2015. After my medical test as per YOUR REPORTS there was nicotine positive. But I was not satisfied with your reports as I am a non-smoker person. I requested you in writing for re-medical test for nicotine but nothing happened. In month of March again I requested you in writing for re-medical test or to let me know your authorised diagnostic center from where I can get my test done and send reports to you but again nothing happened. Being a NON-SMOKER Person I can not accept your reports. So kindly make things clear regarding this matter.

                Hi, I had left the organization and wanted to dispose off the Food Plus card issued to me but as per the bank policies that can not be done and the bank people told me get a new card issued as the earlier card was not working properly. I had raised a request for reissue of the Food Plus Card and its almost two month from the date I raised the request and there is no proper response from the Bank or Prepaid Cards department and I had sent more then 20 Email request for providing the status update for the same but nothing as of now.                   This is bhargav sankar velisetti. I've got cal from above number after tried to do online international shopping. They were asked me to enable international payment range between 10k and 50k, at the end of the call they asked me the last 4 digits of my debit card. Can you please confirm it, is it from HDFC ?

                        I had taken this policy on 2nd Apr 14. I paid a lump sum amount for the premium. I had requested the agent Dileep Jarajapu Ph [protected] that from next year onwards I should be paying premium on a monthly basis. A few months back he made me sign some documents stating that this will enable monthly premium from next year onwards 2015. Although from my side all the formalities were done for a monthly premium but he failed to submit the document. I received the trigger for a full pay of the policy Rs.50775 and then I contacted him but he is not communication with me in this regards. I went to HDFCLife and got his managers number Manoj Rao and spoke to him. He assured that he will look into the matter and get back to me. But no luck. I do not have this kind of big amount with me and hence cannot pay. This was my first experience with HDFC which was surely not a present one. I am had taken this policy for my Kid - my kids first policy- and looks like that my 50000 plus amount has gone in a black box. Can you please help me to kindly reinstate my policy premium intervals on a monthly basis? There is absolutely no fault of mine but I am at receiving end. PLEASE HELP.

I applied for a credit card Application No.CC20297486 under reference No.[protected]NS and again I was asked by your representative to apply again . Application No. CC22031134 under reference No.[protected]NS. Today i.e on 08/04/2015 I checked the status of my application. I was surprised and shocked to read that you have disapproved my application for issue of the credit card. I want to submit that I fulfill all the elligibility conditions required for. I am having my own residence in Rohtak City. I am financially sound and never been any defaulter with any bank. I am a regular Haryana Govt. employee having a total regur service of 28 years. I am drawing salary in Payband IV- amounting to Rs. 1, 10, 000. In this connection I want to register my complaint as why I was denied a credit card. Please tell me whether it is the sweet will of any officer, scruitening the application, not to issue the credit card. It seems as if some body is playing with the reputation of your bank. He wants lesser and lesser of work and rejecting applications arbitrarily with out any reason. The employee of HDFC bank, Rohtak, Model town branch who contacted me himself introduced himself as business manager, Mr. Arun Parik.. I was surprised at their indiffrent and callous attitude for not answering my queries regarding issue of credit card.                             I have made a proposal for Click2Protect plus policy (Proposal No.[protected] for a term of 20 years and paid initial premium on 02.03.15. Medical tests were completed on 21.03.15 and waiting for the confirmation. In the mean time I want to make changes in my proposal before the policy got issued. I'm following continuously for the last 5 days asking for the procedure to make changes. I'am getting the predefined mail, asking to allow 2 working days. I don't believe 2 working days required to inform the process? In addition to that received a link asking to go through for making changes. Found the link given is for making a new proposal, no way connected with my existing. Got a call also from HDFC person offering the support to complete the process for a new proposal, informed the same to HDFC. Received a reply again asking for 2 working days and with the same link, asking to go through. I received n No. of calls before made the payment. After this, it is reversed. They are not even interested in understanding the customer needs. If this is the way during proposal stage, ... I have no choice, but to cancel my proposal and go with other insurance company.

                              Dear Team, Since last 4 to 5 years I am trading through your HDFC Securities office situated at Gandhinagar (Gujarat). Today when I call to them they said your account is mapped in Ahmedabad so you have to call there. Further when I call to ahmedabad branch they said you have to call from your registered land line number. How can one call from his land line when during the whole trading session he is in his office?? Further I have never request or done trading through ahmedabad location so how my account was mapped in that area?? And mapping and all that is their internal matter why should I loss my money because of their internal system??

                              i was told that hdfc sec accepts trading orders via phone only from the registered contact number in their records..this is their measure undertaken to avoid non genuine or fraud practices...which i believe is a good process...this provides security to our accounts...suggest u register your number with them by contacting their customerservices number..& i believe mapping of trading a/cs to a particular branch is as per the branch of your region... u can anyways always call on[protected] prefix local city code) to place order...

                                  I had done an IMPS transfer for an amount of 50, 000 on 04/04/2015 at 10:28 AM, from my HDFC account to a CITI account. The amount has been debited from my account but has not been credited to the beneficiary’s account. It will be great if you can provide me the necessary help at the earliest and credit the amount either in CITI account or back into my HDFC account. The customer care was of no help as they just want me to wait for a few more days. They are not sure of where the money has gone or what caused the issue.

                                  The entire purpose of IMPS has been beaten. I have also sent an email to [protected]@hdfcbank.com with the reference number and other transaction details.
                                  Got my money debited into my HDFC account. Thank you.

                                    Dear Sir, Plaese note that I Vivek Srivastava have taken the two policies of HDFC LIFE with the following details. SR NO POLICY NO POLICY AMOUNT STARTING DATE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID 1 12971017 50775 / YEAR [protected] 303100 2 15378198 60000 / YEAR 22.08.2012 180000 Here, all is going smoothly and I am satisfied with the policy. But, in october 2013, I have received a phone calls from delhi office that he is calling from HDFC LIFE office and starting trapping. As per him, I have a agent commission approx Rs 80000/- in both the policies and approx Rs 100000/- is the bonus in the same policies. He said that if we start the same amount policies in company code where there is no agent coommission and the above agent commission and bonus amount will be shown in the new policy and he will withdraw the above amont in my saving account. Fathing with his words, I have taken the following new policies. SR NO POLICY NO POLICY AMOUNT STARTING DATE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID 1 16468015 50000 / YEAR 04.12.2013 50000 2 16468135 60000 / YEAR 04.12.2013 60000 Again, he offerd me a new policy of one time premium policy of 2 Lacs and says that this will be 3.20 lacs in this deepawali after company bonus declaration. Fathing with his words, I have taken the following new policy in my wife (MRS SHWETA SRIVASTAVA) name. SR NO POLICY NO POLICY AMOUNT STARTING DATE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID 1 16777776 200000 / YEAR 27.03.2014 200000 The name of the persons which are calling me repeatively saying that they are sitting in Delhi head office are as follows. SR NO NAME MOBILE NO 1 MR SINHA [protected] 2 MR BALARAM [protected] After repeative talking with him from march'14 onwards he deposited Rs 50000/- against STANDARD PARTNERS and Rs 50000/- against CHARTERED SOLUTION (A/C NO [protected] IFSC CODE - CBIN0281417) each in oct'14 1st week saying that he will withdraw the above two policies including agent commission and bonuses with the said deposited Rs 100000/-. As per him, I have surrender the one policy[protected] in HDFC LIFE Sambalpur on 22.09.2014 and get the value Rs 210414/- in my account on 22.10.2014. Now, on calling the above two persons they are not receiving the calls and sometimes disconnecting the calls. After being a literate person, I am now feeling that I have being make fooled. Therefore, I am taking this issue to HDFC LIFE HEAD OFFICE, and request you to see the my following issues. 1) Can I continue the surrenders policy by minimizing the losses. 2) Can I get the Rs 100000/- which I deposited and are the two persons belonging the company. 3) Can I surrender the last two policies in my name on 04.12.2013 by making no loss.                                       Annual auto renewal of domains names from www.godaddy.com (Transaction ref.[protected] had taken place for USD49.15/- on 29th Sept 2014 from my HDFC Credit Card which I was not interested to continue. Immediately I blocked the credit card after I saw purchase transaction SMS from mobile alert. So HDFC blocked my card (I was Happy). HDFC card division halted the transaction with Godaddy but I got monthly bill to pay the same amount; still I paid USD49.15/- in INR3000/-. I contacted Godaddy customer care after a month time & they had informed me that the transaction disputed & money paid back to my HDFC credit card. I checked my Godaddy account control panel & the same amount (USD 49.15/-) is credited back to me on 21st Jan 2015. Now I applied in written for re-activation of my credit card with HDFC & they replied with SMS that re-activation declined. Today I got a SMS that the amount due is Rs.598.77/- as such I don't have any dues for the last couple of months. Immediately today (7th April 2015) I contacted the HDFC customer care & they replied this is annual card maintenance charges. I asked why the bank will charge when there is no activation of card & more over my Rs.3000/- is laying in my credit card account as unaccounted till date. How do I get my Rs. 3000/- & Now I want to close my credit card account with HDFC bank.
