I bought HTC P3400 on 27th DEC 2008 from AXIOM Mobile Store - Center ONE ( Raghuleela Mall - Vashi, Navi Mumbai ) since then the problem started.
The First Problem i encounterd was my mobile was not charging. i gave it back to the axiom shop, they sent the mobile to HTC Center in Vikhroli , Mumbai. When i got my mobile back after 2 weeks i found a new problem in it. whenever i was picking the phone speaker was automatically started. so i gave it back to axiom guys and again they sent it back to vikhroli service center. after almost 2 months i got my mobile back with a new problem in it. this time the axiom guys misplaced my adapter and the bill and warranty card was wet and unreadable condition. i have to follow them for 2 months to get my bill back. During the period My Mobile Touch screen stopped working and i asked them whats going with my mobile and they had no reply. i asked them to replace the phone or do the proper servicing so that it doesnot create any more problem for me in future but these guys said ..no we can't do anything. i contacted HTC Support center but they also said sir we can't do anything. it is the wrost experience i ever had in my life.

I went to HTC branch at Cairo (11 Omar Ebn El-Khatab st., Ramo building in front of City Stars, Cair, Egypt) to solve a technical problem with my screen. I have the following complaints:
1- Only 1 technical support representative (a female), and I had to wait for about 30 mins until she is finished with another customer.
2- Then I gave her my (HTC touch diamond) and described the its problem (some time the screen doesn’t respond to my touch or respond with misalignment and I receive an error message whenever I switch the device on). She told me that I should leave the device for 48 hours for Hardware check !! (I don’t know what needs all this very long time??!!). I do all my work through email and mobile as a regional manager, and it’s too hard for me to stay without it for this time.
3- She also told me that I should receive my device back coming Saturday 22/8 (After 96 hours!!), because they will not work on my device today (so today is not counted). They will start working tomorrow 19/8/09 and will end After tomorrow (20/8), but I can’t receive it at 20/8 end of day (I don’t know why). 21/8 will be a day off (Friday) so I should come to receive it at Saturday 22/8 !!
4- When I asked her to write the receiving date on the (work order she gave me, # 126 05), she refused and said she can only TELL me the date but cannot WRITE it, and I can write a complaint if I come at 22/8 and didn’t find the device ready !!
I am totally shocked and dissatisfied due all the above complaints, and I couldn’t imagine that this is the attitude and behavior of the HTC employees and I am sure this is not the HTC standard processes globally.

Hi, I am Sanjoy. I bought a HTC Touch phone from M/s- J.R'S.Cell Point, Guwahati on May 6, 2008. Phone was working really good when i bought it. Exactly on Aug 12, 2009 my phone was totally dead (means mobile dont get charged and dont even get switch on ) . Then I went to the service center Apace Solutions -Guwahati and they told me the motherboard had gone and it will cost above Rs10000 to repair it. I was shocked when i heard it, since because my hand set price amount is Rs.10500.

How can a phone go dead exactly after the waranty period? I dont know what to do in this regards. I need someone to help me in getting the repairing from the HTC Touch company.

after giving the IMEI NO and JOB sheet NO there are no response, this is limit now again HOT SPOT team is saying that, i can get my handset on 18th, earlier it was 5th then it was 8th then it was 10th then it was 12th then it was 15th now it is 18th, i am not getting that why, i have told them that handset is my business set my all contact is in that set, after that company is not taking seriously.this is very shameful.

My HTC mobile phone, model no. S720 had a functional problem and the keypad was also not working properly. So I approched the authorised HTC service centre in pune, within its gurantee period. They told me it will take 2 days for them to repair. So I submmitted my mobile phone on the 16th of July '09. On calling on several occassions my call is never ansewered, then on repeated calling they answer the phone and make excuses that there is a shipment problem. Its become nealy a month now that I haven't recieved my phone on repeated warnings. They always say it will be ready in 2-3 days but on calling them its never available.
Please act asap.

Hi, I am Ravi from Delhi. I bought a HTC Touch Dual phone from M/s. H.K. Mobiles, Mumbai on Feb 2, 2008. Phone was working really good when i bought it. exactly after 6 months phone had connector problem. So went to HTC Touch authorised service center in New Delhi - Salora. I got it repaired it at free of cost. In July, 2009 my phone was totally dead. I went to the service center (Prominent Informatics, Lajpat Nagar) on 29th July, they had received the phone and said they they will call me if any major problem in phone. I have not received any call in 5 days, even I call to Ms. Bhawana, she is incharge of this service centre, She has not received my calls ( atleast 10 times within 3 days), After 10 days I goes to Service Centre, the recepnist has told me that my phone has not been repaired till now, and it will take 5 more days. after 5 days i again goes to said service center and they told me the motherboard had gone and the repair cost will be 70% of price of Mobile phone (approx. 15000/-). I was shocked when i heard it.

How can a phone go dead exactly 6 months after the waranty period? I dont know what to do in this regards. I need someone to help me in getting justice from the HTC company.

This is Kapil Sharma from Gurgaon, India. I am your customer. I purchased HTC handset (Model: P3400i & ITMI N0-[protected] & S/N-HT924FW00175) from spice communication, Sec-14 Gurgaon on May 31, 2009.

Within 15 days of my purchase, handset started giving me problem. I have put two times for servicing in Okhla, Delhi service center.



1st Service Details:

Problem was in MIC. Other person could not hear my voice. Either voice was weak or non audible to other side.

But problem could not be resolved. Again above problem was repeating and hand set was showing No SIM Card while SIM card was inside the phone. So I again dropped my phone for servicing.



2nd service detail:

After two services still I am facing problem with set. Now when I make a call from now it show call can not be connected and when some other person calls it shows unreachable. While other handset is working fine on same location with same SIM.



Now I have suffered a lot from this handset. This has created lot of mental agony to me. I have wasted lot of productive time which is very precious and money in form of transportation to & fro to your service center. This handset has manufacturing defect and I do not want to use it in future. Please refund my money which I have incurred for purchasing this phone and transportation to collect and deposit phone to service center. Several times I have communicated to your customer service through toll free no and over email assistance provided on your website but no action was initiated.



I hope you will take appropriate action and will refund my money as soon as possible in time bound manner.

this is to inform that my htc mobile phone P3300 is not functioning normally, the sound settings get automatically change for example, the side button of increase/decrease volume button get started operating automatically and create a very irritating sound.

secondly it create music files of its own continously and which lead to disk space full issue. i dont know what happen to it, even i am not getting proper service center contact to show the mobile. request you to guide me . i didnt find such issues with my previous mobile phone from nokia and sony .

i bought htc p3400i six months back, after 2 months is started battrery problems...at the time of charging it shows certain percentage of charging and when i use it the battery the automatically gets increased...today i recvd my frens call...after receiving the call automatically its speaker started working...many times i turned speaker off but it didnt worked...after that call i recvd the error msg...
what should i do now...

I had purcahsed HTC P-3400 on 18/04/2009.the camera of cell was not working.till that day to today i had written enough mails at in_service @htc.com, visit service centres several times still no results.
i had enough evidence(mails etc, service centres reciepts).so finally i had decided to put the matter in consumer court.

I am facing lot of problems with it.

=> Memmory card is not detecting
=> mesaages are getting displayed
=> Display will automatically gets off and i need to restart the phone everytime to activate it.

HTC mobiles is realy BAD BAD BAD performance mobile.
Not giving service in Authorised service centers. If you give ur phone for repairing.
they will repair it but never tell this to you & service center employee will use your phone for 15-20 days or a month. When you will repeatatly force them to give your phone back then only they will give.
HTC have manufacturing fault in Display & Speech Speaker. Company has also launched a faulty handset. HTC is a BIG FRAUD. HTC doing fraud in India.

Sub: Defective Handset HTC TOUCH P3452

Sir,

This is to bring to your kind notice that I bought a HTC TOUCH P3452, IMEI No.[protected] from your dealer-addressee no.2 i.e., Hotspot Retails Pvt. Ltd., F-14/16-Model Town 2nd, Delhi, for a consideration of Rs.13, 900/- (Rupees Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred Only), whose original MRP as per stamp is Rs.19, 990/-, paid in cash vide cash memo/ Invoice/ Receipt Book No.68, Serial No. MT/ 3388 on 15.08.2008. That you addressee no.1 is the importer and trader of HTC mobile products in India.

At the time of purchase the above mentioned dealer of yours i.e., addressee no.2 assured me that the said handset is free from defects and issued a warranty for a period of 1 year from the date of its purchase. But unfortunately the aforesaid handset is having manufacturing defects since the day of its purchase and I repeatedly contacted the addressees for the repair/ replacement.

The handset in question is having following defect(s):
1. It hangs repeatedly;
2. Lost its memory several times;
3. Get heat-up while charging;
4. Problem in connectivity with Laptop for transfer of data;
5. Touch panel function abnormally;
6. Call drops-Shows no network;
7. Screen color changes automatically;
8. Sound automatically gets low while conversation;
9. Software stops functioning,
10. Headphone not working, etc.,

That I have reported the above matter to addressee no.2 several times and visited several times to the Service centre of addressee no.4 namely Salora-HTC Care Service Centre at D-13/4 Okhla Ind. Area Phase II, New Delhi 110020. On 08.06.09, I handed over the defective handset with the above mentioned complaints whereupon the same was kept for 4 days for repair. On 12.06.2008, the handset was returned with replacement of main board which a change in IMEI no. as [protected] which confirms manufacturing defect in the handset in question. Unfortunately the same defects again cropped up within two days of repair/service and again on 01.07.2009 the defective handset was placed before the addressee no.4 for repairs. Here it won’t be out of place to mention that the said defective handset is still lying with addressee no.4 for repairs/service. The service engineer also accepted/ confirmed that the handset has a latent manufacturing defect which couldn’t be removed by the said repairs. Here it is pertinent to submit that all data stored in the said handset has lost from the said handset which not only put great mental agony, harassment, alongwith the great economical loss too.

It is submitted that I am suffering hardships since the day of purchase of mobile handset as the same is working abnormally and having serious manufacturing defects. You the addressees have intentionally and deliberately sold a defective handset to me and further completely failed to cure the manufacturing defects in your product and the same is causing great hardships, mental harassment, physical pain and I am unable to use the features of the mobile in question, secondly I have lost the stored data available in mobile due to which I had to suffer hardships, mental and physical, in collecting back the data, thirdly I totally burnt out due to regular visits to the addresses.

I, therefore, by means of this communication call upon you to either replace the said defective mobile with any other model of same specifications or to refund the present price of Rs.19, 990/- with interest @18% p.a from the date of purchase till the date of realization within 15 days of the receipt of this communication/e.mail failing which I shall be constrained to initiate against you for redressal of my aforesaid grievances and recovery of the aforesaid amount such proceedings, both civil and criminal as are warranted by law, besides filing a complaint under the statutory provisions of The Consumer Protection Act, 1986 exclusively at your own risk, cost, responsibility and consequences which please note.

Dear sir/Madam

On saturday morning i lost my Mobile of HTC Touch, model HTCP3452 bearing IMEI no.-[protected] & having reliance SIM inserted in it of mob. no. - [protected]. I need your help in tracing it so I request you to do the followg.

I have HTC 3400i handset which is still in warranty. Within span of a month earphones began to malfunction. So I visited its service center at Vikroli. They promised to return me new earphones within 15 days.

But I had to visit the service center for 5 times as they failed to return earphones even in 2 months. Lastly after some arguments ( they even dont respect or care for customer ) they handed me earphones that were repaired not even the new ones.

Within a day or two it started to malfunctioning again. I dont know how to deal with them as even thought of visiting customer care ( which is 45 min away from my home) reminds me of their previous service.

Now even I seems to have forgotten invoice number but it was something like 6575

My self Amandeep S Narang consumer for one of Mobile Product HTC P3300 purchased from Jumbo Electronic (Ambience Mall), gurgaon with price Tag of 17, 500 (approx) Dated 05/03/2008

Handset was been purchased with motive one of outstanding Bussiness Mobile phone with Extreme Feature as compared to other handset in market .

On 24 April 2008 handset stop working all of sudden and not booting up.Issue was discussed with Shop owner were handset was purchased from they were not even ready to listen to my query & Blindly told to visit Service Centre in Okhla Phase -11 which is nearly 90 Kms from my place.

With my experience in Electronic Industry for last 7 Yrs working with one of Hardware Giants IBM as Manager Tech Dept hope have good understanding of these devices as suggest by Jumbo Electronic duly visited RT outsourcing Phase-II after several visit to them Finally dated 28 July 2008 after raising to Consumer Forum Ref No_147690 for mentioned issue Service centre helped me for checking Handset . On 28 July 2008 Engg (Sanjeet)diagnosed Handset and found faulty Mobile hardware due to which handset was not responding.

Issue Discussed with Service Centre
No Charging Indication.
No Handset Response.
Routine Battery Checked & Rebooted no go.
Finally i was told HTC handset is having Faulty Mother Board which needs to be replaced & they shall Take 15 days time for replacement of motherboard thus handset was submitted with Call Reg No[protected] with Original IMEI no-[protected].
Now RT outsourcing service centre helped me in new manner with several visit to them to collect Handset with again wastage of money for no fault of mine.

Dated 4 Aug 2008 (Nearly 1.5 Month)handset was provided to me without Quality check due to there Time restriction and told to visit in case of any Problem with New motherboard with IMEI No-[protected] .

Now again on 20 March 2009 handset stopped working and same clause again to visit service centre to get the same issue resolved Shop owner not ready to help & service Centre asking for 15, 000 Rs to get M.B replaced as it is not in warranty.

Now here lies my question to company HTC one of major market Player in Mobile Industry is this correct way to treat customer.By looking with my experience seems it is my fault to Trust company and invest to suffer .

I have purchased HTC Touch about 9 months ago & for which warranty period is 1 year. Now within 3 months I had to replace LCD panel of handset as it was cracked. This was a paid service as it was a physical damage & I had got it done through authorised service provider. Now, after 4 months thereof my HTC has got hang & is not working at all as (as told to me by authorised service center after its checking) its motherboard has got crashed. Now, as I have got the first repairs done through authorised service center & as my warranty period has not expired, am I eligible to get second repairs i. e. motherboard getting crashed at free of cost (since the warranty peiod is live & this second problem is not due to any physical damage but a technical problem) ? - Santosh Doshi Cell : [protected]
