Dear Sir,
I purchased an HTC Smart phone with my hard earned money at Rs 10900 from Maru NX - Vashi on 25th May 2010. Within two months (24th July 2010) I got a problem with my handset, there were two horizontal black lines on the touch screen. I called on the number given on instruction manual and as they said there was a defect in the handset and asked me to take it to the nearest service center. I took my phone to the HTC service center, Raghuleela Mall - Vashi, where they told me that there was a fault (Dead Pixels) and my phone will get repaired. I submitted my phone on Friday 24th July and ot it back next Thursday 29th July. After I inspected the phone I saw some dust inside the screen, the touch sensitivity of the screen was very poor and not present at all in few parts of the screen. Even the screw used to fasten the handset have been tampered. I did complain and asked them to replace my handset since it was under warranty, Vashi service center people refused to give me a replacement (No reason for refusing). After I pleaded, my handset was sent for further inspection to Mr Ashish who is Head of HTC India and sits at Andheri branch office. I`am still waiting for my handset to return. HTC Smart being a touch screen phone and the touch screen itself not functioning properly defies the whole purpose of buying it. Its my hard earned money, I bought that particular phone since it belong to business category and helps me a lot in my business for showcasing sample work to my clients etc. Im facing difficulties as my device is not functioning properly. My 2months New phone no longer looks like a New phone. I would request that you pls see the matter from the point of view of a customer. Expecting help from you to get my handset replaced.

I am also an owner of HTC Smart handset and only within one month I have to submit my handset to the dealer for repairs for the same concern of black lines and screen getting dark.
In India there has to be a rule for the sake of consumers making it mandatory for the manufacturers to recall all the defective pieces and refund the amount to the consumer in case of manufacturing flaws.

HTC can bring this much cheap quality is weird but a bitter truth now.

    I purchased my HTC HD 2 from MTN on contract on the 12/06/2010. On the 21/06/2010 I had to return the handset as it completely bombed out and refused to function at all. The Dealer (MTN) informed that it was due to a factory fault on HTC's part and sent it for repairs. The handset has now been in for 4 weeks and they cannot give me a date as to when i will be receiving it back (this after i was initially told 2-3 weeks!). i have argued with both MTN and HTC stating that I want the phone exchanged (I checked the warranty and am given this option) seeing as the handset was merely two weeks old! I also argued that I refuse to pay for a new handset but must live with a "repaired" one! They refuse to exchange and insist on repairing. I've made it clear that it is ridiculously pathetic from both parties to deliver such repulsing customer care! As a admirer of the product and an MTN client for over 8 years now I am disgusted to call myself one of their clients! This is by far the WORST service i have EVER received!!! I will be moving my contract to Vodacom and going back to my trusted Sony Erricson brand, something reliable!

      I have purchased HTC smart from BHATIA Electronics ,Rajhans Plaza, Ghod dod Rd, Surat,Gujarat, India on 20th MAY2010.

      Since my purchase date The phone has remained with me only for few Hrs till the date I submitted mobile back to ur service station. … Rest of all time it has been with ur authorized service station.



      The phone has been returned for the following problems.

      1. Upon Booting the phone, it shows “Invalid SIM”,

      2. It shows “Invalid SIM” anytime during it running hours/ stand by hours.

      3. Battery Uptime and stand by time is not even 20% of the time as claimed by the company while selling, or on various Selling papers or on the internet .



      The phone has been replaced once by the dealer for the same problem. And while replacing it was claimed that the problem of Invalid SIM was in Old model but it is not there in the new model which we are giving u now.



      The second piece which I received on 3rd JUNE 2010 also had the same problem as listed above.



      I got the earlier model replaced by the same HTC Smart with the feeling that faulty battery and SIM problems could be due to faulty handset which the company agreed to replace. And impressed by this action of the company I got the same model replaced.
      But now I feel with the same problems recurring that there is something grossly lacking. I contacted the service centre in Surat and also Mr Ashish parekh from your Mumbai office - but all you could do was send me a replacement order .

      HOW MANY REPLACEMENT ORDERS Do I USE to get to use my phone.

      I have paid Rs 9700 as can be seen from my bill of Bhatia Electronics. I do not want to use this handset which I have not been able to use as it has been lying more witht he service centre than with me.
      A mistake can be made once and twice repeated is crime. A bad word of mouth can mar your millions of dollars worth of campaigns for a product.
      The dealers here at Surat are not ready to give me my money back- It is a month and I haven’t been able to utilize a penny worth of it.
      And the dealer has agreed to replace my handset by another company phone I get a refund of Rs 8500 - since that is what the company pays to the retailer NOW for a HTC SMART - as told by Bhatia Electronics.

      WHY SHOULD I BEAR THE BRUNT OF A FAULTY MOBILE HANDSET.

      WHY DO I HAVE TO LOSE THE MONEY- IS IT BECAUSE I TRUSTED HTC.

      I HAVE DEALT WITH TE COMPANY DIRECTLY FROM THE DAY OF PURCHASE .

      SO WHY SHOULD I GO TO THE DEALER TO GET DISCOUNTED MONEY BACK.

      I REQUEST YOU TO REFUND MY ENTIRE BILL AMOUNT.

      A copy of this I am filling with CORE.NIC.IN. I have proofs of the 2 DO given for replacement and the photographs of INVALID SIM and low battery to validate my complaint- which can b proven without doubt.
      The first complaint at least got me a prompt response from the company in dealing with the issue . But this time I have been calling up various people to help get this solved and get my entire money back and there has been absolutely poor response as I have not received a single call from the company as promised by Mr Ashish to get back to me with a solution.
      This lackadaisical approach proves that the company really does not care for a customer who has spent about Rs 10000 trusted the company to deliver products that are VALUE FOR MONEY as with other products offered by the company.
      I would henceforth not want to deal with HTC ever and request the company to please refund the money that I spent
      buying this handset so that we can avoid any inconvenience to each other in terms of time and money spent on this case .



      I hope this email goes to the right hand and corrective actions are taken immediately for any further demage to the reputation of a highly reputed company like HTC.

      Smart — handset is not replacing.

      maine reliance ka classic-7610 instrument liya tha.suddenly wo kharab ho gaya.mera mobile warrnty period me hai. maine service center walo ko piece diya to unhone kaha ki yeh piece permanently vitiate ho gaya hai, aapko naya piece milega because aapka mobile warranty period me hai, unhone mujhe ek document(dio) diya aur kaha ki aap industry house jakar ye document de dijiye aur apna naya piece collect kar lijiye.par me jab industry house gaya to waha par jo banda baitha tha usne mujhse ill behaviour kiya aur kaha ki 3-4 months lagenge naya piece aane mai. maine use apna piece aur dio de diya aur waha se chala gaya.
      20 din baad industry house se call aaya ki aapka piece replace nahi hoga. maine reason pucha to kaha ki bus nahi hoga aur kaha ki aap apna piece aakar le jao.ab sir aap hi bataiye mai kya karu.abhi filhaal wo piece unhi ke paas hai, me waha se piece nahi laya hu.mere paas ek card hai jo mujhe industry house se diya tha aur kaha tha ki naya piece lete time aap is card ho hame doge to hi aapko naya piece milega. i belongs to middle class family. at present mere paas koi mobile nahi hai. mere liye naya mobile purchase karna bahut hi mushkil baat hai.ek month se mai without mobile hu aur bada hi pareshan hu.please sir help me.mujhe mobile ki bahut zarurat hai.mere paas original bill hai.
      Hi this mahesh from hyderabad, A.P.(INDIA), I have buyed new HTC Smart mobile after 72 hours got problem with Audio out put I got a call from my friend but its just coming vibrate after that i insert that the ear phone jack, audio out is good but after 1 hour i got problem with internet explore in the mobile and its shown me that ERROR message i think in my life taken Worst decision, and i am requesting u all of you plz don't buy the HTC Mobile in India its bad services given to all of who facing the problem facing like me it s my opinion

      HTC SMART MOBILE PHONE — Mobile working

      I had purchased HTC smart from reliance digitel.

      problem relted handsets are given below.

      1) when i call to others, as he will pick up the phone will give vibration. it is creating hadeche for me and for others also. please do the needful on urgent basis.

      2 ) Battery life is very very less, every 4 hrs it is required to cahrge.

      3 ) i had insttaled Micro SD card , but every time it will not work. work will start after switch off and start.

      4 ) how java will help to me.

      5 ) how i will use my net and i will close it.

      very good looking, but performace wise very worst phone, do not make phone like this. can you suggest how to solve this alll problem or please collect from me and give other HTC phone of same range.

      phone perfomace will create bad image for HTC in this compitative market.

        I have a HTC handset since the past 11 months.The phone has been giving quite a lot of problems,it has gone to the HTC service centre 4 times for the same problem and they have somehow not been able to repair it.Since the phone is still in the guarntee period and has caused me a lot of loss of money,time and energy as the service centre is very far from my house and it is not easy for me to go there after every 10 days i have asked the company for a replacment.They first guarnteed me a replacment and now since the past 20 days they have started ignoring my calls.

        Dear sir. Im venkat. I given my mobile to service center due to sim pins not working. Still now it's nor repair. It's over 40days How many days I have wait. I loss my patience. Already I talk with 5 customers .they did not help me. I'm daily checked my tracking, but no use. What I have to do. Can you replace my mobile . I'm facing lots of problems not having mobile.           On 22 April 2010,I brought HTC Touch T3320 AMT-12900/- Rs.
          but,now on dated 25 June 2010 without any reason Touch screen pixcles damaged and Liquid spread inside the screen(told by service center from Shree Times Service,Vadodara) and due to that i am not able to use my phone and it's touch screen.
          i went to Service center for replacing the same he told me that you have to spend 3500/-Rs.,
          i felt very bad with the budget of repaing told by Shree Service Center.
          Please guide me that i have already spend 13000/-for mobile and with in 2 months i have to spend 3500/-it means i would be in complet loss of 6000/-due to current price 9500/-for THE SAME mobile.
          please guide me what should i do?

          Brother When Its only 2 months old it should be in warranty and he cant charge you in that case.
          unless if it is out of region or has a physical or liquid damaged

          htc touch2 — touch screen is not working

          i puchase the htc mobile in july 2010 that mobile give the problem that screen is not working i submitted that mobile to service centre,they did the repair and they give me back.but now again the same problem occured again i send the mobile to service centre the speaker cover are droped some where
          the servie centre person told us b'coz of that warranty is not covered
          they are charging me to repair that mobile.

            dear sir,

            I have lost my brand new "HTC VIVA touch" and made a complain to Bhadreswar police station(hooghly dist). I want to block my IMEI no (10INCW25ENA000547). i called to HTC help line[protected] for several times but always its engage. i requested to HTC support by email to block my phone but they told me thats not their duty. if i am the owner of the mobile i have all the legal document regarding ownership, then they are bound to block my phone.

            why this happens to me?

              My new HTC Touch 2 phone([protected]) was stolen in a case of pick pocket and I lodged an FIR with the Hazrat Nizamuddin Police Station on 10/06/2010, no response from their end till now that's how active our police is in this e-age where it is very easy to track phone through IMEI no. HTC helpline no. is non responsive and i had spoken to HTC customer care at janpath CP where they said it is beyond their authorization to blacklist an IMEI no if the phone goes untraceable. Nobody seems to take any responsibility and just make money at consumers cost. I would never recommend any body to buy HTC as these phones which are seemingly sophisticated falls prey to simple case of stealing and no tracker to surface them. This is case of negligence of duty to us, I hope everybody takes notice of such hyped companies and our slow incompatible to the e-age law and order system.

                i bought a HTC touch 3G T-3232 IMEI-[protected]. from Neelkanth Mobile Indraprasth shopping centre,Borivali,Mumbai on the date 23-05-09.

                Recently i m getting problem with the battery backup,i visited to the service centre which is in Raghuleela Mall at Vashi Station.i submitted the battery on 17-05-10.
                they told me to visit after two days but still they dont have the battery in their stock and i m facing problem from last 5 days.plz make it possible as earlier as possible....

                The name of the service center is CCom services, F204, Raghuleela Mall, Vashi, Navi Mumbai..phone[protected]
                I had a problem with the battery, the service center at borivili (taipan) messed up with my mobile and it went completely dead. after speaking to HTC support they asked me to forward the mobile to vashi service center ( C Com) to check what's the problem. When my person went there he was kept waiting for more than 30 mins and inspite of showing the print of the email from from the HTC suppoort centerthey started asking payment for accepting the mobile. HTC has a gr8 service policy one center takes service charge of Rs. 150 messes with mobile and makes it completely useless, then other service center ank askes for charges to chck the mobile which was damaged by their own service center. what an innovative concept by HTC to increase revenue. I would strongly recomend every individual reading this post not to buy any HTC products.

                Raghuleela Mall HTC Repair Center is utter rubbish. They are reluctant to take calls and will keep giving lip service to all its customers. I am going to take it to appropriate forum.

                  I had purchased HTC P3452 (IMEI No. [protected])from Singh Enterprises, Delhi on 9/8/09 but since that day i have been feeling guilty about my decision to purchase it as it is giving me continuous problem of Auto Shut off,heating, less battery backup and it stucks continuously. I have alreay get the same checked from service center, APEX The Perfect Solution, Najafgarh and they have given me replacement on two time as advised by Vipin Verma, from HTC. But the problem still not solved and same is being informed to Mr. Vipin to whom i have been requesting to provide another better handset for which i am ready to pay the price difference. I fell that it was very unfortunate for anyone to purchase HTC product. Why i have been given faulty set if i have paid the full price of the set? Why everytime i have to go to your customer care centre? Providing replacements is not a solution if problem is not permanently resolved. I had paid for the satisfcation of product not for getting replacement regularly. I need mental satisfaction. This product has already been discontinued due to technical problem getting in the product an i think that the problem and is not curable at all. Mr. Vipin, though very helpful advised me to visit concon outlet at Rajouri Garden to purchase for better model but it was very surprising that they valued my handset for Rs.5000 against purchase price of Rs.14,300/- why should i go for it. It should be their duty to provide me solution instead of i am going here and there...finally they provided me upgraded model Touch 2 for which i paid a difference amount of Rs.2300/- but unfortunately within 3 days of getting it, same problem started in it and i immediately handed over back to them with a request to refund back my entire money to which agreed...later on instead of refunding back my money they said that i should go for replacement of my sim card and they can only refund my excess money of Rs2300/- paid towards upgraded model which is not justified at all...what should i do with the handset which is of no use to me and has only given me mental distressed....i need your intervention for getting my entire money back at the earliest as i am fed up calling/following them since last six months

                    Abhilasha Shiva Reply Its been over a week that I recieved a call from Mr. Vikas who promised me to resolve the case and yet again inspite of all the gyan given to me about how important the customer is for HTC, I am still waiting for a confirmation from Mr. Vikas on what can be done to resolve the issue amongst the options provided. I have left over 7 messages in the last 5 days and i am told by Vikas- I will call you back in one hour ... I will call you back by end of day or at the most tomorrow morning .... sad but true no call backs happened til date....


                    This is only reconfirmed my belief taht HTC customer service is not at all dependadble and I have only wasted my time and effort with this company looking for resolution.....

                    So as a next step... can HTC- India Head; pls confirm back in writting that this the best you had to offer in terms of customer service and I should not expect anything more from HTC on this issue.I think that would help put the matters at rest as far as I am concerned and I would have a legal document to take this case forward, along with all the recorded conversations with HTC staff via this application. 2010/05/12 12:48:28

If you dont want to resolve or have no resolution, pls suggest that. There is no point in keeping me hanging in the air for all this long. I am fed up. Mrs Choudhary was supposed to send me a report and there isnt anything that you guys have provided so far.

                    Abhilasha Shiva Reply the hnadset has been returned with an expired security certificate and has scratches all over.Mrs Choudhary from the delhi office promised to send out a detailed report on the handset through the call centre and a replacement parts for the tampered body rim, however no revert yet and the phone still hangs.

                    Also to my shock was the news from Mrs Choudhary taht the second time around the motherboard was changed just for customer satisfaction though therewas no problem, I cant really understand if the phone conced off completely and it was diagnosed as a mother board crash by your service centre staff, who I am assuming are qualified to detect a problem, how can the statement 2 months later change to that the fact that it was done only for customer satisfaction. looks like a riff off racket run by HTC service centre, as I was asked to pay for the replacement of motherboard etc, had I not refused to go ahaed with this additional expense, I would have been cheated.

                    Also I dont understand If HTC truely promotes Sony ericsson brand and recommends taht it scustomers buys that as you use that for your replacement handsets.

                    I am still not confident taht thsi handset will work well, asit still gets hang when u have mails open...but i dont see how you can help me on this as the handset has been with the service centre for nearly 2 months in the last 5-6 months and everytime something si done and then something goes off.

                    Let me know, what you want to do with this issue, If you have no resolution for me, I am happy to discard thsi handset and move out of this sour relationship with HTC immediately, as I have wasted enough time, money and efforts with your team and have been told multiple times that there was no problem and made to go and buy new sims.

                      i sent my HTC Touch dimond hand set for repairing to HTC service center, after repairing, they have changed PCB of my phone and then after i sent my mobile to relience web world for activation, they asked for new RSN no which HTC co didn't gave and still after almost 21 days my HTC is not working and finally i was forced to purchase the new phone, after spending almost Rs.26,000/- i am not in position to use my phone.

                          i have p3400i phone ... i am facing lot of problem with it... i am not able to send more than two messages... for every 2 messages network is refreshing and taking time for it.. an error message called the message could not be sent because the sim is not valid is shown on the screen.. but i tried changing different sims but the same problems are repeated but all those sims work in other mobiles.. i even got my mother board replaced for this set but prolem still continuing..... service center officers are not responding and saying to complaint to head office... i even not receiving calls but the calling persons can hear the network ringing but no message or alter is shown in the set.. so i am loosing important calls... plz gelp me soon before i complain in cosumer forum... my contact numbers [protected]...[protected]... plz let me inform the solution on these numbers

                            HTC 3400i — Failure of Handset within 13 days of purchase

                            My hand set has stopped on rigtone working and same has been shown to HTC service centre "Salora International" the have detected problem and recommende for D.O.A replacement with your store since complaint is within 13 days of purchase. The same has been refused by E-Zone Treasure Island .

                            HTC 3400i — No proper services after sales

                            I had purchased a HTC 3400i Mobile on 10th April 2008 and it worked well only for 50 days. The headset was not working when attached so i went to an Authorised Service Center @ Kondhwa Pune i.e. RT Outsourcing & was informed that need to put the handset for repairing for 7 days, it was a concern that now i need arrange other handset i managed to do the same. I submitted handset on 6th Sept 08 with job sheet no. 2207 and i have to wait for 21 days i recvd the set on 27th Sept after several follow ups and after that i was suprised as i got the set with older version software installed on that and it has been 8 times i have called till date but no one is responding on the same and after inquiring on[protected] i got assurance by Mr. Prashant of 30 mins on 8th oct till date no call is there.

                              Hi,

                              On Saturday March 20th, 2010 I gave my HTC Touch2 phone to the HTC Taipan, Borivali, Mumbai service center following the non-functioning of the touch screen after 1 year of purchase. I was told by the service center staff that the mobile will be ready on Tuesday March 23, 2010. I have been calling since then to find out the status of the repair of my phone. I got to know that some shifting is going on due to which no status can be given. I have tried calling atleast 15 times at the service center bu not updates provided. Every time I call, some new person will pick up the phone and tell me that we will call you back.

                              This is ridiculous and call for a serious legal action. It is highly unacceptable that a customer has to call so many times and get no updates.

                              I have bought Touch Viva on 17 Mar 2009. Post 7 months my cell started getting hang. I work with icici n i get only get time to spend time with the family during weekends.Somehow managed time to visit borivili centre in November (1st time)though i stay in Navi mumbai. A CSE named Ankur took my cell just cleared all my storage data of my cell & said the issue is been resolved.I started facing the same issue in Dec.He again did the same(clearing storage)but the issue was not resolved till Feb.Finally in March a CSE named Neraj took cell phone on 6 th match n said he will replace HTC VIVA's motherboard.He returned phone post 13-15 days (old imei no-[protected])& new IMEI no after replacing the motherboard was [protected] now they might have changed the board and so i do not have the 3rd board imei no. This time it was too much when i was navigating Contacts in my phone & tried to dial a personans name starting with R, the 1st Contact in my phone diary gets dialed automatically.In addition to that whenever i try to check my inbox automatically Sent items get open & doesn't get deleated. I even scanned my bill copy as it was asked by ankur on 2nd April & so i mailed on the id (taipan.[protected]@gmail.com).Since then they are not answering my calls. Ankur's mob no is [protected] & Neraj mob no is [protected].

                                This is Chalam, One week Back I purchased HTC Smart F3188 Mobile.
                                I got a One problem in mobile.When i call to any body then immediately it shows Ending Call In red color on Top of the Screen. Tell me solution

                                I think the problem got resolved. I had done a ROM update some time back. Calls were working at that time. When this problem started, i did that ROM update once again, that now everything is resolved :) :)

                                HTC Smart F3188 mobile phone — Wrong Promises

                                Dear Sir,

                                I bought a HTC Smart F3188 mobile phone last April 2010, the company made various falls promises some of which are:

                                1. the phone has 256 mb RAM and 256 mb ROM but more than 200 mb of both memories is being consumed by the phone itself.
                                2. the media player is faulty.
                                3. set restarts automatically for no reason after the board was changed by HTC on my complaint.

                                The company is now harrassing me by asking me to come to service center again and again submitting the phone. I'm a busy man and bugged up totally. i think buying this phone was the worst decision of my life.

                                    I got the HTC 3452 as a new year’s present on 1st Jan 2009 and it’s not even been a year and I have had multiple issues with the handset starting in late November / early December 2009. My handset had issues with the speed and call hanging issues etc and resultant was a change of the motherboard as diagnosed by the service centre around the 22nd of December after which the phone was handed over back to us on the 2nd Jan 2010 - good part was that it was under warranty so got replaced for free, However again within a day the problem cropped up again and we were told its a problem with the fire wire and then that was replaced at an additional cost of Rs 300/=( this was not checked as a part of the initial diagnosis coz the service centre didn’t have power( electricity when we were at the service centre) and then again the phone would go off the network for hours all together and we thought it was a problem with the Airtel's network so we registered a complaint withAirtel and they did a SIM Swap and did a network confirmation. The problem intensified and now the phone doesn’t get connected to the network _ Airtel, I took the handset to the service centre and I was told handset is fine but again when they inserted the sim card and dialed the number, it kept giving a message - out of coverage area but the same sim in another handset worked absolutely fine , I was asked to leave the phone for observation and when I went back to collect it, I was told that there is a problem with the speaker and some hot spot - which when I asked what was it - the service person said he doesn’t know how to explain....Not sure where the problem is and how can it be resolved as the HTC service centre folks said that they have done whatever they could . Post this I called up the HTC Contact centre and explained the complete issue to vishal who suggested that I take the phone to salora service centre as they are their authorized centre. I had to take a day off from work to take the handset to a service centre over 20 kms away. On reaching their they also wanted to keep the phone under observation and we waited for over 2 hrs and then we were asked to go back and await a call from them. In the mean time we also got connected to Vishal at the customer service centre, which in turn spoke to the service engineer at Salora and confirmed back to us that he will call and update us. Now we are sitting with situation where we are told that we or a 3rd party tempered with the phone and the motherboard has again crashed and will be replaced at a cost and at the most HTC can offer a 20% discount. I have a few questions before I decide to continue my relationship with HTC. 1. Is this how you treat your customers and make them run from one service centre to another bcoz HTC doesn’t have skilled staff to handle the issue? 2. Does HTC believe in owning up to issues that they have with the handset and not blaming it on the customers to have tempered it. 3. What do us/ customers expect in situations like this from HTC when the phone had issues while under warranty and it was not resolved to our satisfaction to the extent every time we went back to collect the phone they said it’s already tested and check with your network provider on the connectivity issue. I would appreciate if you could provide me with a proper resolution for this case and suggest a course of action. I do not intend to spend any more on this handset in terms of time, effort and money and would rather invest that with some other company in the hope that I won’t be treated like this. This was my first HTC handset; after being with Nokia and Sony ericsson for over 12 yrs and It makes me believe that its not a reliable product and the customer service doesn’t not believe in providing customer service rather believes in calling its customers a liar and attempt to rip off money by blaming the customers to have tempered the phone. I would not have been wasting my time and effort in writing this feedback to you, just the fact that it was a present from my husband on New-year and we are very emotionally attached and had been extra careful with the handset.                                     htcp3452 — certain network Sim does not work

                                    I have bought HTC P3452. I am Airtel sim consumer stayying in Mumbai. In the beginning everything seemed okay but sonn after a week, my phone was always outof coverage area. I could neither make or receive call only PDA functions worked. The same Sim works on other handset but not in P 3452. However whne I inserted VODAPHONE sim, it works fine, but I have to keep two handset and I am unbale to use my oldest number. What is the use of buying such costly phone when it does not work well with all sim card.

                                      Issue
                                      1. Incoming Calls not ringing / not visible / not appearing / not in miscall list nothing.
                                      2. Notification Errors eg: Cannot Execute “cprog.exe” etc.
                                      3. Mobile Hangs when Incoming Calls try to save.

                                      After 8 months of complaining again and again, keeping 4 times to service station now company is not ready to accept problem. as per them there is no problem with set.

                                      HTC P3452 — Sorry we dont have the System/Feature of BLOCKING THE HTC PHONE

                                      Hi,

                                      this is to bring to your notice that someone at my office stole my HTC P3452 with the IMEI as [protected].I called the HTC Customer Services who said that there is no service of blocking the phone, is that true? But the problem is that this phone is quite expensive.In the conversation with Manoj (service advisor) said that YOU will notify me about the phone only when the robber who has got my phone, comes to one of YOUR service centers for any problem with the phone, how ridiculous!!! .Does that mean I have to wait till then.I am sure that I am not your first customer to loose the phone be it any HTC model.This phone is damn expensive.Can u please tell me, being one of the largest selling mobiles in India by now, why don't you have this feature yet (of blocking lost or stolen phones)?

                                      I have also passed on this to THE CONSUMER FORUM, because i have to face such a huge monetary loss.Not only that I am so disturbed now that I don't have the benefit to block the my own phone. Do you even realise I w3ill be in so much of a tension all because of the stupid fact that YOU CANT BLOCK MY PHONE.

                                      I would request u to please mail me if there is any way of getting these things resolved.I would really be obliged if you can the system of blocking the phones whenever the customer reports it to you saying that they eithr lost it or its stolen if for nothing then atleast for a mentall satisfation.

                                        i had given my handset in warranty for repairing for various problems but there was no proper repairing work done for my handset and my handset was returned after almost 2 months, but the worst part was that most of the problems were still there with many new problems due to faulty repair done .

                                        after repeatedly contacting the HTC CUSTOMER HELP LINE i.e [protected] there is still no response about my handset as i have put an request for replacement of my handset. HTC CUSTOMER HELP executives give commitments of calling n reporting about my cell within 2 days but there is no execution of the same.

                                        its been a long time and no response yet ....

                                        HTC Touch Pro — Non replacement

                                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                                        This is Kartik Raju. I have purchased HTC Touch Pro on 20/03/2009 from a a shop named Shreeji Enterprises (India), Mumbai - 80. From the first day of the mobile it is giving problem to me. So i handed over the phone to RT Outsourcing Services Limited - Vikhroli (W), Mumbai - 400079 on 28/03/09 The problem which i was facing was
                                        1) Battery use to get drained out very quickly for this i had to get my mobile charged twice or more in a day.
                                        2) Hanging problem.
                                        3) Touch Screen not working properly.
                                        4) Handsfree problem.
                                        They took the handset and told me they will call me once its is ready but to my disappointment no one called me so i had to go to there office and inquired abt it than only they told me that my handset is ready.The problem they told was that there was so part damaged so they replace it (Part name is Fru Suf Assay - This is relating to Touch Flow).

                                        Than i took the mobile on 04/04/2009. Than using the mobile for some day i got some more problem like 1) Automatic Restart. 2)Sometime there is no network coverage - Even though the network service is available 3) Touch Screen Problem 4) Hanging problem. So once again i gave the mobile to the same cusomter care depart on 14/04/09.
                                        There was a technical guy named Mangesh with whom i discussed the mobile problem and asked him for replacement. He told me he will examine it for 2 days and tell me. Again no one called so i called them on 17/04/09 at 4.45pm and spoke to Mangesh. The response which mangesh gave me was not at all satisfactory he told me that the mobile is working very fine which i dont believe and as of replacement i dont think he is interested to get my mobile changed.

                                        Since the amt which i have paid to get this mobile is Rs.34K and the services which i am getting is not worth of it.

                                        I am also trying to write a complain letter to HTC for the mobile service and also for the customer care.

                                        So kindly let me know what step should i take as per Mangesh it will be not replaced as of now.

                                        HTC Touch Pro — Lost Handset

                                        My handset is stolen and i need help in tracing it. I have heard that we can trace the handset with the IMEI number, is it true? Also my handset has a GPS Receiver, so is there any way i can trace it with the help of that.

                                        I have a similar story to share with you.

                                        You can't (probably noone can) beat me in this. I am waiting for a replacement for the last 2 years. 50+ emails, 50+ phone calls, hours and hours of time, mental agony. All for nothing!. I am still sending several emails periodically. They just dont respond!

                                        I am not in a position to chase them effectively as I am currently living in sweden and the telephone charges are quite high on international calls.

                                        Govt of India has to do something about this as soon as possible. I think every company has to guarantee a minimum response time in resolving the issues. Otherwise they must be penalized.

                                        I want to file a case agaínst them but it is always tricky to find the right people. Last year I took help from an advocate and sent a legal notice to HTC but, there was no effect. I just lost some money as advocate's fee. that's it.

                                        Phone costed Rs. 16000 when I bought it. Now I havent used it for almost 2 years, and if you consider the mental agony, time & money spent of on phone calls (even ISD calls), and emails, they should pay me at least Rs. 50000 as compensation.

                                        Dear fried, if you know more people like us, what do you think about a united effort to HTC to the court and get the compensation?
                                        i have htc p3300 when i send it to service station 22 godown jaipur they ask me that they charge for solve my mobile problem in 4000 rs but they dont want to give me the old part they replace after bargain they ask me that they charge 3000 rs then i have some doubt on that u can't belive that guy after my threat that i am going to police for some fake things going on here thay just charge me only 400 rs and then they repair it immediatly can u imagine that they are totly mother ...
