Booked a train with Goibibo and the amount got deducted from my account and it says booking cancelled. It also states that the refund has been initiated. But I did not receive my refund. This has been since 5 days. I am trying to contact their customer support. It is the worst customer service. I will put it online and make sure that nobody cares to book a ticket from Goibibo. Make sure that you pay me in the given time. You have to face the same on consumer forum.

Based the attched record,
It is an extract from the bank or from merachnt.
Such situation, as described, names itself "unauthorized transaction".
You can submit the claim both to the bank and the operator of the site (service provider), where you attempted to pay for the PNR / e-ticket.
The rules allow
- 7 days for refund following the receipt of the complaint of customer by the travel agent,
- 10 day for refund following the receipt of the complaint of customer by the bank,
if the customer notified regarding unauthorized transaction the bank within 3 days,
but not later than in 7 days in all circumsatnces.
Such notification can be submitted based on the agreement, signed between bank and customer,
by the electronic agrred mean only.
Following 10 days, all disputes are to be resolved either at
- the Reserve bank of India or
- Department general of civil aviation or
- the dictrict court or customers court.
