First of all i booked a ticket for the 18th of feb and due to a glitch in their system the ticket got booked on the 28th of march, i called immediately to inform them of the issue, i spoke to an agent called esha who told me that it was my fault and i incorrectly booked the ticket which i disagreed to as im suppose to start work on the 19th and there was no way that i booked the ticket incorrectly and miss the dates by two whole months, for some reason esha was not able to help and kept repeating the same thing again and again, she told me that she will try calling the airline and see if they could help and within a minute she comes back and says that she couldnt get through their lines which is a lie as i called the airline three times and was able to speak to their contact center in all attempts, secondly it takes you time to get through their options on the system as you have to select a couple of options before you can speak to a customer care rep as, im aware of the same as i called them a couple of times already as i was in a desperate situation, later she tells me that she will call the airline later and then get back to me to which i agreed, and before i could even hang up the call i got a message and email saying that go ibibo was trying to reach me and was not able to get through which is a joke, its very clear and evident that esha didnt really care and paid no heed to a desperate customer and made absolutely no attempt to help me and even contact me. With such people in the contact center i wonder how they are called customer service and wonder how peoples querys are solved.
So i decided to reschedule the flight myself and submitted the request on their website as per process i was suppose to receive a call back which i was suppose to receive, i did get two calls in the span of 5 minutes but couldnt answer as i was speaking to the airline, post which no attempts were made to contact me, i received so many emails (Around 3-4) from them post that saying that they have attempted to call me whereas no further attempts were made.
I was also charged an additional fee of rs 599 called as a convenience fee for absolutely no convenience on the call or their website, that fee increased my ticket price by rs 599 which i feel is cheating, they are already earning through various other methods and now use such scams to extract more money from customers, as a result i cancelled my ticket for which i had paid rs 7178 and after all their charges and the airline charges i get rs 3700 back, charges of almost rs 4000 levied on a customer for no fault of his is a robbery in broad day light.
