Dear sir,
I am writing you regarding an issue of refund from your reputable company and display o[censored]nprofessional behavior in handling complain regarding it.
1) i booked a flight ticket on 29th of march with booking id - msgi6bymc. I cancelled the ticket on 5th of april. The company promised a guaranteed refund of cancellation amount within an hour else some go-cash would be added to my account or whatever. Today is 14th of april, after 107 hours no cash has been refunded into my account.
2) when i decided to bring the issue into your consideration by calling on customer care helpline ([protected]) at 00:14 am on 14th of april, the call was picked up and all i heard was some giggling sound for few minutes till i had cut the line.

Its a display of a disgraceful customer service from your side. Kindly take the matter sincerely and please get refund amount credited to my account as soon as possible.

    Goibibo complaint number : [#9429662] Hotels - Cancellation And Refund - Refund Delay
    Booking ID – HTLSXWSCNG

    This is regarding the refund amount for the above booking id. cancellation was done from my side on 29th march. goibibo status refund initiated from their side on 29th march and it showed refund to be reflected in bank account with in a max of 3 to 5 working days. today is 13th day (9th day if saturdays and sundays not counted according to them) and still i havent received the money. on the 5th day i called customer care and they told refund is done from their side and i have to check with my bank. so i confirmed with the bank 3 times already that they havnt received the money and sent goibibo customer care a mini statement regarding the transactions in my account for the last 15 days ( as requested by goibibo customer care team). so goibibo customer care sent me serial no consisting of alphabets stating its the transaction details and asked me to check with the bank and asked me to make a dispute or file against it. 4th time today i checked with the bank and they said its not a transaction number and its just a serial of alphabets which may be goibibos internal code for any trnsaction they make. so again i called goibibo customer care asking them for the transaction number for the payment which they say processed from their side. and now they are telling they are unable to obtain the transaction number and they will send me as early as they get it.
    All these simply means they havnt processed the refund. if they have refunded where is the transaction number. also my status against the booking id shows REFUND QUEUED. which means refund process not completed yet. customer care simply made me run to bank 3 times faking that refund processed from their side. I request you to please take necessary steps towards this refund against the booking id with immediate response.

      It has been extremely disheartening to see that a travel agent such as goibibo has such poor application services that confirmation of ticket occurs after 8 minutes of the whole process
      Due to such delay I booked another ticket from some other travel agent.But god save goibibo, they told me that my ticket was confirmed only after 8 mins.

      I was even more saddened to see the most unprofessional customer care support.Even after calling their staff so many times and telling them about the issue, they didnt seem to be interested in addressing my issues.They didn't even have time and wisdom to cancel the unwanted air ticket, which was confirmed only after 8 mins delay.

      I have resolved to take serious action against the company.If they don't address my problem I would not ignore the possibility of taking a legal action and opening a social media action against them.I have already told my near and dear ones to uninstall goibibo's app and after this incident my friends and relatives are least interested in dealing with goibibo.I wish senior executives will address my issue, help save their company from negative publicity, and take an immediate action consistent with their efforts of making their company a competent player in the market.

      We would like to advise you that as per company' norm booking notification my take up to time of 30 minutes after successful transaction to be sent on customer mail address and same is indicated to customer or notification o successful transaction to kindly wait for 30 minutes.

      And checked your payment is received to Goibibo.com at 10:49AM and booking confirmation notification was sent on 10:55AM which means within 8 minutes booking confirmation mail and notification sent to you.

      Hence, there was no glitch from Goibibo.com and we have shared booking confirmation mail and notification with customer within TAT.

        I write after more than 4 or 5 instances where I tried to make a booking using GoIbibo account (which according to them has Rs5000 as GoCash). Each time, they jack up the prices of the tickets or hotels, then claim to give a discount using what is supposed to be my own "GoCash" and still end up quoting a price about Rs500 to Rs1000 higher than others.

        I feel this is unfair, misleading and pure FALSE ADVERTISING. Companies like this who run such scams should be BLACKLISTED. I will not make empty calims, please see attached photos of a booking I made using Makemytrip for a flight from Pune to Del for the 10th of April for 2 adults, the final chargable price. Vs.The 2 photos of booking that I made from Goibibo, where in even after applying my so-called "GoCash", I have to pay more to them.

        I wrote a vey blunt email to their management, someone has called me, I could not explain the total matter due to some meeting I was in, but I called back, but could not get through to the person. They sent me an SMS stating my complaint ID is 9214025. So Guys at GoIbibo Management, stop these cheap tricks, its Daylight Robbery and it is not very ethical!

          HI,

          I have booked a Ticket from Chennai to Marthandam on 29.03.2017 .

          Initial 3 Transactions are Automatically Cancelled after the Payment tap Opened, Fourth Time Again I tried to Book the Ticket but the Date automatically changed after Booking . I have chosen 31.03.2017, This was my Selection for the Journey but system automatically changed the date to 29.03.2017 Default date as current date . There is an Issue with the system .

          But After Booked The Ticket the Date is 29.03.2017,

          Then I Immediately cal the Customer Care and Inform them regarding the date issue, But they said it is not possible to change the Date . Then I told them to Cancel and Reopen the Seat . But the Execute and then The Team Leader is not Accepting My Concern.

          Then I called to the Bus Operator " Universal" They Said me to Speak with GOIBIBO and they will Fill the Seat . But The customer care people are not at all listening my Voice and not Accepting.

          Immediately I called the Customer Care and Re open the Seat . But they are not ready to Accept. I need the solution for this . Because if the Same issue happen in Future, What we will do ? Again we have to loose 1600 or What ?

            I Roshan Kumar Singh a PhD student was travelling to Rio de Janeiro for research purposes. I had booked my ticket via GoIbibo and I had two layovers at London and SauPolo. But when I came to British Airways counter for checking they said that I cannot travel because for entering London airport I need to have a transit visa and I was not having a transit visa.
            Since I booked my ticket via GoIbibo so they should have informed me about all the visa requirements. The tickets they issued me was a Multiple Airlines so contacting each airlines was not possible for me. Since my ticket was a non refundable I lost more than 1 lakh and then I was helpless at Bombay airport and then I had to beg for money from different people and finally could manage a ticket for me of the next day.I find myself really helpless. And when I tried to call GiIbibo for help they said "we don't provide visa assurance so its not our fault". Buy if they are providing me the tickets they should be providing all the visa requirements for me. And to all the telephonic contacts that I had made with GoIbibo I remember once I had asked them since I will be using a number of airlines and since the GoIbibo is providing me the ticket so please provide me the visa requirements at all my layovers to which they said we will be arranging a call for me but till date I haven't received a call.
            As the GoIbibo says to contact individual airlines for the visa requirement I did contact British Airways for visa requirement but they gave me an ISD number which was not possible for me to contact and then the other airlines which I was using my travel were Latam Brazil and Iberia airlines whose offices are hard to find in India.
            I took a flight next day morning at 4 AM and I can't explian the amount of pain I had suffered that day.
            And then I would Iike to inform you that after I could not board my flight all the travel agent whom I contacted they provided me all the visa requirements before issuing me a ticket.

            I request to please please help me as I am very poor student.

            Till date GoIbibo has mailed me that they will talk to airlines if they can refund my money and they also have asked for a endorsemet copy of airlines denying me boarding which I have provided to them

            We would like to advise you once again which has been already informed to you that Goibibo.com do not provide any visa assistance to any passenger and we advise same to all customer to get in touch with local embassy of country you are travelling or your local travel agent for any visa assistance.

            Also, it was confirmed by you on written document before making payment and reservation that visa query will be taken care of by yourself and then only you made payment for booking and confirmed reservation.

            Hence, Goibibo.com is not at fault. Still only as a goodwill gesture we have forwarded request to airlines if they can treat this as an exception and refund amount of booking. We are trying our best to get waiver on this but as i now no commitment can be given from our end on this as same is subject to airline discretion.

                Have never faced such an unpleasant experience ever in any website while purchasing air tickets.Had booked a flight on 14th of March 2017 for a roundtrip from Del-Ccu. While making the booking on the app I paid trough net banking and my money was deducted from my account but booking was failed. It was a surprise to me so I called their Customer Service number and spoke to the first agent named Gaurav, this person had no clear justification on what happened and was repeating the same line again and again that the money had been initiated for an auto refund with no appropriate answer and on asking for a supervisor he had put my call on mute for checking and then he refreshed the call and disconected.Since I got no call back from the same, i had to call again and spoke to Sapna, this agent did the same thing and again disconnected the call with no return call back...I called the third time and then spoke to an agent named Kamini who actually was kind enough to lend me a helping hand to get a supervisor...I spoke to the floor supervisor who was very ill mannered and misbehaving and when I asked him that I did not paid money to get a refund but to get tickets and when I asked him that if he could do anything for me as by the disconnects and ignorance of the previous agent I was very upset...the floor sup also spoke rudely and abruptly he said thank you and disconnected. I mean what [censored] customer service is this. GoIbibo has such agents hired...a big shame! Now again I called and got through another supervisor who said that he will revert and try to resolve within 1 hour. But as GoIbibo's CS is, it was expected a no callback. I called after 2 hours and then my call was connected to gentleman Puneet who claimed to be a manager. Now after so long and in the middle of night at around 2.00 am I was struggling with these people just to know that why my money was deducted and why tickets were not booked.Nobody had a legitimate answer to this. As per puneet, the amount was auto refunded by the gateway so I should suffer for that.Mr Manager why would I suffer for something you are doing business with??? Then sick and tired after waking up and fighting for my rights over the phone till 4.00 am in the morning I finally gave up and rested my case saying I want a refund and I booked another tkts but as promised by Mr.Puneet the tefund was initiated from their gateway and I should have recieved it in 24 hours time...Today is 16th of March, ideally more than 24 hours and I haven't recieved my money back. Your service is a total shame. Will definitely report this to consumer's forum !

                  Today, I checked my Credit Card Statement of Month of FEB-17 and found two unknown transaction. Thief. Thief. Thief.

                  25/02/2017 IBIBO WEB PVT. LTD. 2238.00 (Transaction Reference: 085374)
                  27/02/2017 IBIBO WEB PVT. LTD. 1999.00 (Transaction Reference: 033101)

                  Surprisingly, for these two transaction I didn't received any alert from HDFC Bank.

                  I also observed at least 100 complaint of same nature (ibibo web pvt. ltd. unknown transaction from HDFC Bank) on http://www.complaintboard.in/ (subject: Consumer complaints and reviews about ibibo Web Pvt. Ltd.)

                  Is it a joint venture between ibibo web pvt. ltd. & HDFC Bank?

                  1. Mail received from goibibo on 13.11.2020 stating that "refund request for Goibibo Booking ID GOFLDAND6DF[protected] is reviewed successfully. Details has been forwarded to the bank." (copy attached).
                  2. Mail received from goibibo on 23.11.2020 stating that "Flight Cancelled, Refund of ₹5760 is in progress, refund request for Goibibo Booking ID GOFLD705F[protected]". (copy attached).
                  3. Mail received from goibibo on 04.12.2020 stating that "Refund Processed, Refund of ₹9199 has been processed on 04.12.2020", refund processed for Goibibo Booking ID GOFLDAND6DF[protected]". (copy attached).

                  The summery is that - amount refunded by airlines to goibibo against -
                  a) cancellation of tickets, b) rescheduling charges of tickets due to covid-19 pandemic &
                  c) amount refunded (credit note) by Indigo Rs. 5760.00
                  -- is not being refunded to us by goibibo.
                  d) refund Rs. 5760.00 against Goibibo Booking ID GOFLD705F[protected]" not yet received.
                  e) refund Rs. 9199.00 against Goibibo Booking ID GOFLDAND6DF[protected] " not yet received.

                  I would like to state herewith that goibibo portal (travel agent) is not refunding the amount to me as per Hon. Supreme Court order dated 01.10.2020 & DGCA Circular dated 07.10.2020.

                  I sent complaint mail on 05.03.2021 to DGCA office regarding the same to which received replied from airlines - Indigo & GoAir that they refunded the amount as per Supreme Court directives to travel agent goibibo (ibibo Web Pvt Ltd) long back. (Superme court order copy not attached as it is 35 pages)

                  Hope that registering non refund & cheating complaint of goibibo (ibibo web pvt ltd) on your portal will be helpful for me in getting the said refund from goibibo.

                  I made payment through Union Bank Of India net banking of INR 22, 550/- on date 15/06/2021 with reference ID[protected], amount deducted but not credited to my actual beneficiary account. I was trying to pay my Health Insurance premium through their official email and it redirected to internet banking and the beneficiary was IBIBO WEB PVT LTD, amount debited from account.                     Dear Sir,

                    I stayed at Hotel Brighton at Daman. I already sent you my feed back yesterday before leaving the hotel. I have few points pl revert as early as possible:

                    1) How do you decide any hotel's per day charge ? only looking at hotel photograph ?
                    2) from our side this hotel is decorated.
                    3) Room is very small, one family can't stay.
                    4) bath room is too dirty.
                    5) shower nob was broken.
                    6) poor service.

                    I want back Rs 1200. As per the location and quality of the hotel, charge/day should not be more than Rs 1200 to Rs 1500. if this is the way you are "earning money from Client. I will never book any hotel though you and not recommend my friends also.

                      I had booked Hyatt Hampi through a travel agent for a holiday in the month of march (9th-12th Feb).
                      The issue is I couldn't travel due to personal reasons and I asked my travel agent to cancel my booking and he said to talk to goibibo which I did and was kept on hold for hours. After talking to goibibo I was told to talk to the Hyatt Hampi. After talking to Hyatt hampi they said that only goibibo can cancel the booking and where as goibibo is saying only Hyatt hampi can cancel the booking and I spoke to both and both agreed to cancel the booking after charging me for 1 night which was fine with me. Now my travel agent has been traveled for the whole trip and he is asking for money from me.

                          I tried booking a ticket in red bus on 01-July-2016. I am sure if I didnot make any successful transaction and i did not book any ticket on that day due to lack of availability.

                            I booked my bus for ahmdabad from jaipur on 04 feb 2017, but without prior intimation bus operator cancelled the bus and due to this i suffer on the road in mid of night and in very cold weather. I called on go care customer care num and they promised me to refund my money to my account with compansiation causes to me. Its now one month gone i am not getting any refund from them and i called them so many time and they told me they already refunded to the account i used at the time of booking i chacked with my bank than told me theres no transection from goibibo made to my account. Its completely fraud that goibibo shows on my mobile app refunded but still in actual not refunded to my account. What is the reason its not reflacting to my account is goibibo team concern not mine.
                            I request goibibo team to refund my money within 24 hours otherwise i will gonna launge complainy in consumer form against goibibo.

                              The refund of my ticket PNR: TZH964PD is pending for more than 45 days.
                              Also goibibo is not sharing the transaction id for the refund.

                              The refund has been initiated from the airlines side on Jan19th ans still the money is not yet credited to my account.

                              I contacted the customer care more than 5 times and they keep on saying they don't have the information.

                              Please tell me how to escalate it further.

                                The hotel puri located at puri beach, the people there show around 1600 about 2 persons in one room from goibibo and are showing only one room available, but when we call them they are saying we have rooms available but it will cost us 2400 rs., They are showing less prices in goibibo but not making much rooms available so that they can make much money, when we told them that its showing around 1600 in goibibo & ur telling 2400 than the person there told very rudely "thik h fr wahi se le lo", coz he knows they can't give us 5 rooms in online & we needed

                                  I Booked a bus ticket for bangalore to Chennai, no cancellation policy was available at time of booking.

                                  Due to an emergency, I calmed goibibo after 5 mins to cancel the booking, they said no refund as per cancellation policy (which was not mentioned while booking).

                                  I was on a call for 22 minutes and call was disconnected by goibibo as I asked to transfer call to manager.

                                    I have booked tickets to bhadrachalam through Redbus on 20.01.2017 amounting to rs.8350/-. The tickets were not booked but my bank account was debited.                                         I have booked a room yesterday in Kollam Hotel sea Palace in the evening.After booking from your App I got message that an amount of Rs.1004/- has been debited against the room rent.But booking has not took place.I have used SBT Silver debit card for the same & all these iNformations I have given in your customer care number as per their advice I am registering this complaint.
                                        Hence I am requesting to take immediate action for getting refund of the above said amount.
