This to inform you that the ticket which you have cancelled is being cancelled after the expiry of the cancellation policy. This ticket is being cancelled by 100% cancellation charges. You have cancelled the ticket on 18-jun-2017 10:08 am, but the policy has expired 11:30 pm on jun 18. Hence we are unable to process any refund for this transaction we request you to go through the cancellation policy mentioned on the ticket.

Does this even make sense,

According to the statement the customer support executive made, it says that the cancellation expires at 11:30 pm on june 18th, but i cancelled the ticket at 10:08 am in the morning hours of june 18th, and why on earth are these people not ready to give me the refund. Any one please help me get my money back.

Greetings from Goibibo,

We regret for any inconvenience caused to you, kindly be advised that as checked and investigated the policies clearly show that if the booking is cancelled anytime till 11:30 PM on 18th June the cancellation charges of INR 560.00 will be applied so as you made the cancellation request at 10:08 AM on the same day no refund will be applicable as the same amount was paid for the booking as the cancellation charges.

Please find attached the screenshot of the cancellation policy for your reference.

Unfortunately we may not be able to take this any further at our end.

We are now closing this case as resolved.

    This is my complaint ticket no.[protected]Day of transaction[protected],[protected]After a month). I had booked a domestic flight from chennai to bangalore on 14th june. On the first try, there was transaction failure and my money got debited from the card. I called up goibibo and they assured me it will be refunded in 24 hours. So i went ahead with that confidence and tried booking a second time on your site which was a success (Pnr-ybsg4z). The customer executive on that day said that he started the refund initiation on that day itself. Till now there has been no refund to my account. I called up many times and they say different answers saying it has been initiated and another customer support manager asking to see my bank statement ever since the date of booking to prove that i have not received my refund. Do you not have a system in place which confirms if i have received my refund or not??? Why do i have to share my personal bank account statement with you people for you to confirm the same? Contradicting answers and buying more time is what has happened till date. It is a huge sum of 8338 rs. If you search the no. Of booking against my phone number, you will realize that i am a frequent customer and i am honestly never going to use your site after this harassment and experience at the hands of your customer support. I need my money refunded and i expect a reply from you on this asap before i take it to the social networking site and consumer court detailing my tedious experience with you. 8338 rupees is a big amount and i cannot leave it like this.

      I booked a round trip (mumbai - goa) for aug; first my booking isn't confirmed and they ask me to call via email

      I called them up and asked them to confirm the booking - they make me to hold for half an hour and in the end assure that booking will be done

      Later i get a message stating that one way is confirmed but return is not - now i had booked round trip, why are you giving me one way ticket

      Second i am yet to get email or message about refund - should in book other or will they book other and in the meantime the prices have gone up by 1k

        I had 5 tickets for Delhi to Srinagar flight on 28th. Due to my son's illness i have requested cancellation of 3 tickets out of those 5 on 26th June & got a ticket number for that cancellation request. The ticket number is mentioned in the subject line. But on 30th of June when I connected with GoIbibo team for the refund amount, I came to know that those tickets were not cancelled & the airline will refund only a nominal amount after deducting the no-show penalty instead of the cancellation amount as per the policy. Because they didn't receive any cancellation request from the travel agent (goibibo) for those tickets.
        I need to know why this happened & who's going to pay for my losses. I have written 4 mails so far on this. Didn't receive any call or revert on those.

          I have made a booking for Singapore Accommodation where has goibibo have given a places where its dangerous and prostitutes areas i didnt like it so i have asked for a refund after all the discussion i have received

            On June 20 th an amount of Rs.646 deducted from my account without my knowledge. I came to know this amount is credited into ibibo web pvt ltd, Bangalore.               Hi, i have booked a shared car on go ibibo website on june 13th, 2017 to travel from new delhi to chandigarh with pnr no eqreo2a7wd, however, the booking was canceled by the driver and i wasn't able to come through it. When i contacted the official of go ibibo and asked them to initiate my refund for the booking, they said it was already initiated on the same day and i should receive it within 7 working days but still after 15 days i don't receive any refund and when i contacted them, they are asking to wait a little longer which is absolutely rubbish and frustrating. Since it's a mental harassment too, i am planning to file a legal complaint against the company if i don't receive my refund in next 2 days. My complaint number is 12154219.

                Subject: hotel owner and managers duping innocent guests

                Respected sir/madam,
                Having suffered a harrowing and traumatic night on the streets of shirdi last night, i am forced to lodge a complaint against the erring hotel manager and owner of hotel sai sadan.
                I had booked a room in hotel sai sadan on 24\07\2017 on goibibo.com. I had made the payment for the room and got a confirmation of my booking via email too.
                On june 24, 2017, i reached the said hotel at 11:45pm (Due to a delay in the running time of the railway)
                On reaching the hotel, the receptionist very curtly informed me that my (Pre-booked) room has been already allotted to someone else and that there are no rooms available for me. I rang up the person who had confirmed my booking and after listening to my complaint had switched off his mobile phone. To add to the misery the call centre officials of goibibo curtly told me that they were sorry for the incident and said that they would reimburse me my money and said that at the moment no rooms were available in any hotel in the vicinity. As a result, i had to roam the streets of shirdi, lose my sleep, face shameful experience with my family. This is a deliberate act of the owner and the manager of hotel sai sadan. This is an act of cheating and duping innocent hotel guests. I request you to kindly register a case of cheating against the hotel owner and hotel manager and oblige.
                This will prevent other innocent guests from getting duped.
                I shall be grateful to you for taking an emergent action against the erring hotel owner and manager.

                  I have booked a resort through the Goibibo for Murudeshwara trip on oct 19 2018, initially I got the confirmation for room bookings through mail but later next day one of the support representative from Goibibo called me and said that no rooms are availbe in that resort also there is some technical issues in Goibibo website you will get the full amount within 3 working days. I have paid nearly rs.18000 but I got only rs.8000 from goibibo till now waiting for remaining amount. Please let us know how can I reach top level management in Goibibo or need to file the case.

                  I booked in Goibibo for 03 flights and because of covid-19 issue it got cancelled.When i contact their customer service they are bypassing to a AI based chat system called GIA which is useless.They dont provide proper customer service executive or even a proper email to contact them.Also they send a message that they couldnt find my cancellation details and contact my airlines.I feel regret to choose a service provider like GOIBIBO.

                          I booked hotel on goibibo for mussoorie named radha residency which is clearly mentioned that it is situated at library chowk (Which is start of mall road) but when we reach there we found that we were cheated and the hotel was having other address. We called goibibo but not got any help. We requested u take strong action against them so that other families should not be cheated like this. This property is situated far from library chowk and we had paid rs.400 for pick up and drop for library chowk. We requested hotel to provide pickup /drop facility but they refuse. I talked with goibibo later and told them that now at least correct address but nothing had been done till now. My stay dates were 28/5 to 01/06

                            I was stranded at night because the number of the hotel provided on the app was dead, which was accepted by the hotel manager when i checked in. Location given on the app is a ditch, the exact location is on the top of the mountain. I kept calling the hotel number from 9 pm to 11 pm but no 1 answered the call. Then i called the customer service team and made me wait for 18 mins to connect to hotel. When i came into the room and thew my bag the dust below the bed came out like anything. Whole place was dirty. Curtains and bed sheets were washed in 1980. The pics shown on the app are enhanced. Blanket was smelly and the room was occupied by mosquitoes. There was no goodnight or allout provided by hotel to keep us safe.in the morning i saw the washroom and i was stunned. It was smelly, yellowish and rusty. Geyser was rusty and as usual not working. I complained about it and they kept saying we are checking this and after 2 hours they said none of the geysers are working. They arranged warm water for 1 person. There was no soap in the washroom. This was the worst experience of my life. Once i was back to delhi, i contacted customer service team about my experience. I was talking to "chetan" he said he will call me back once he is contacted the hotel. Guess what, he called me back and said you are right no 1 answers the call and ask me do i have any other number of the hotel (Seriously?). I asked him to compensate the charges as this was not acceptable. He said he can not do anything as i am complaining late. Goibibo expect me to call on roaming and make my phone bills sky high as 1 of the call made me wait for 18 mins and took 38 mins to resolve.

                              I had a booking in gulfair to delhi on 16june2017 at 9:45 pm from bahrain, i have done webcheck-in and reached airport at 7:45. Checkin counter staff send me to customer service as flight was overbooked and i have connected flight form delhi. I went to customer service and requsted the staff about my urgency to travel as i have to attend my own sister marriage function. Staff requested me to talk to the duty manager nawaf moh'd. When the manager came he didnt listened to my query and told me to schedule my travel next day. I requested him to atleast schedule my flight so that i can reach my destination before evening and the manager response was "we are not responsible for your fucntion and the tickets in other airlines. As this flight is overbooked you have to tavel tomorrow.". After that it went in heated discussion. He told me to collect boarding pass without issuing the ticket because i should not talk to other manager to reschedule the ticket. As a result i am going to miss my own sister marraige haldi function for which i was travelling and which was ruined by one single person and cant be fulfilled by any compensation. I talked to airport autohority but they told to check with airlines there is not consumer authority in bahrain. So i want to log a complain in indian consumer court regarding this incident when i will reach india. Please provide the contact person of gulf air whose name i can put in the complain notice.

                                Am a existing customer of goibibo-a senior doctor of repute practising in delhi. I had booked a hotel (Nonrefundable with full amount in advance) for my annual orthopaedic conference in indore in dec 2017, very much in advance in march and having received confirmed booking i proceeded to book my air ticket also for indore (Through goibibo - as record will show) for my travel and stay between 27th to 30th dec2017. However i was shocked to receive a call from goibibo customer care 3 days ago that goibibo is not in a position to honour my confirmed hotel booking (Id - htlasssgl4). Obviously i protested, as this would lead to complete disruption of my travel plans which i had made well in advance for peace of mind having wrongly trusted goibibo plus financial loss as i booked air tickets and registered for the conference only after my hotel booking was confirmed. But goibibo could not care less for their customer and inspite of them assuring me (Including mayank the tl who spoke to me) i have not got any call wether my booking stands or not and wether (As promised within half hour) a suitable alternate arrangement has been done by goibibo. Obviously this is totally unacceptable from a responsible organisation and if mt issue is not settles satisfactorily, i will be compelled to escalate the case both on social media and take legal recourse as this amounts to clear cut deficiency of promised services
                                This is crystal clear that goibibo is liable entirely for 1) mental harassment of trusting genuine customer2) financial loss due to severe disruption of well planned travel arrangements
                                3) deficiency of promised services 4) prolonged delay in resolving crisis created entirely by goibibo itself 4) keeping a customers money and binding him down and denying him opportunity to seek booking from elsewhere or of different hotel
                                As there is no satisfactory response from goibibo towards resolving this issue created entirely by goibibo - i am pointing out these facts officially which will make it quite obvious that goibibo does not have a customers best interest in mind-
                                1) when i made my booking from goibibo in march (17th) i wanted to book well in advance for my stay in indore in december as i had to make travel plans to attend conference accordingly
                                2) goibibo confirmed my hotel stay - as is clear from the voucher and the hotel stay was nonrefundable-thus depriving me of any opportunity of cancelling or modifying my booking.
                                This fact obviously speaks for itself that goibibo entered into a contract of service with me and took entire amount in full in advance on noncancellable and nonefundable basis and by now declaring their inability to honour the terms of contracts and not giving me a viable alternative and depriving me of any opportunity then and now to book alternative hotel, they have breached their contract
                                This is caused harassment, suffering and financial loss to a customer for no fault of his
                                3) as is evident from records and documents
                                A) i have also made my air bookings for indore through goibibo (After i received confirmation of hotel stay)
                                B) as is evident from records, i had opportunity to book alternative hotel (Hotel infinity)-which i cancelled once i received confirmation regarding my hotel
                                C) even now it's more than a week since i received a call from goibibo regarding not being able to honour my existing booking and assurance of quick and satisfactory alternative arrangement - but no further official intimation from goibibo inspite of escalating the case from my end.
                                D) my account still shows booking as confirmed
                                E) even now i am being denied opportunity to seek booking from other sites (Hotek infinity and sayani are available on make my trip site on those dates - but i can't book as i am left in the lurch by thus unprofessional attitude of goibibo.
                                This is a serious case of wrongdoing by goibibo and i am planning to escalate the matter legally as this is clear cut "deficiency of services"

On 25 may i have booked ticket from kathmandu to delhi dated 5th june from goibibo using my above mentioned kotak credit card. 8126 was deducted & as per the bank record merchant has claimed the money however i have not received any message, email & ticket. I have contacted goibibo for the same & got a reply that they have not received any payment from kotak bank on the contrary kotak gave me the transaction id & reference id which i have given to goibibo but goibibo refused the transaction. Reference id which was generated on 25 may 2017 was [protected] amounted 8126 later sr # 1-[protected] was generated. Last week as per the direction of kotak bank i have raised dispute form which was duly filled & sent to kotak & was received by the kotak bank. Now i got cal from goibibo & they said they have cross checked from their finance team & there is no transaction processed. No as a customer i had faced a lot of harassment & neither kotak nor goibibo is accepting but my money was used by either hence please respond me on the war footing other wise i am going to file a strong case in chandigarh consumer redressal court with mental & monetary harassment case.

                                    I have booked train tickets which were wait listed and automatically got cancelled.
                                    Firstly irctc deducted charges which were baseless and i have raised separate complaint with them.
                                    But whatever irctc provided - goibibo again deducted rs. 40 and on calling customer care they are hopeless people. Firstly they disconnect your calls and afterwards nobody helps out.

                                    When asked email for escalation, they have no details.
                                    Don't book your tickets from goibibo. They are fraud.

                                    I will be raising complaint everywhere and expose this to social media as well.

                                      An amount of rs1402 has been debited from my savings account for a bsnl recharge through your payment gateway... Ibibo.
                                      Bsnl never received the amount and do they did not recharge. Kindly credit the amount back to my savings account.
                                      I have attached the transaction details of the debited amount.
                                      Also have attaached the mail from bsnl that they did not receive any amount of rs1402, so they did not recharge my phone. Please credit the amount back to my savings account
