Dear Sir,

On 8th April 2009i have deposited Rs.15000/- in my saving account a/c no.[protected]. On 13th April 2009 when i went to withdrawl some money from my account i was surprised to see that a sum of Rs 3000/- was debited from my account without any information.When i talked to customer service department they told me that i had withdrawl the same amount from any ATM on 9th April 2009 at 6.30a.m.but i have not done any transaction for the same.And now its been 6 working days they are unable to tell me the exact location of the ATM so that i can submitt an FIR against them or the person who has done this thing without using my card. I request you to help me from this situation and wanna my money back in my account as i m the only earner in my home and this money means a lot to me.And hoping from you to take action against this bank so they will return my money back to me.

    I have platinum card of ICICI bank. I have purchased raiway ticket through that card & to my suprise ICICI has charged me 1.8% extra in every transaction. When contacted there customer care people just say like a robot that we charge extra for irctc purchases. This is wrong as a customer needs to be informed first reg the charges first and that to clearly. Hiding every time behind terms & conditions wont help in long run. This 1.8% amounts to a great amount as I have paid them almost 200Rs more for my purchase of 10, 416Rs... So BEWARE of ICICI Card it can almost charge you any time for any of your purchases...

      Hello Sir,

      ICICI bank customer care is a real heck these days, even though i have asked them to remove my no. from there database and not to call at this number again, but they doesnt bother and sometime call at uneven timing.I am having Airtel prepaid card registered on my name ( [protected] ), the ICICI bank customer care call Center is having wrong database because of what they trouble me everyday 4-5 times.. I am just tired of there call. I need your help to please resolve this issue.

      They call me from below numbers-
      [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protect... 46596100,[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected]... 42794700


      Please guide as how to proceed further. I dont want to get any call from any of the number, I have asked ICICI bank customer care people to not to call at this number again, but they aare least bothered. I have also given my number on DO NOT DISTURB 3-4 months back.

      ICICI Bank — Unwanted Interest

      Subject : Balance payments of loan under Agreement No. LIDEL[protected] and dtd. 20.07.06.

      Dear Sir,

      I have taken a Loan of Rs. 30, 204/- on 20.07.2006 vide Cheque No. 248156 from September 2006 and a EMI of Rs. 1, 732/- was fixed and told to pay by me to ICICI bank. There after I was paying Rs. 1, 732/- continuously and paid up to 05 August 2008 and further also paid for the 05 September 2008 and therefore total instalments paid is 25. now I want to get read off your loan and therefore want to pay remaining amount in one instalment.

      Therefore I inquired from ICICI Bank for the balance amount and following anomalies were observed from statement given by ICICI.

      1. The interest rate of 50.01% per annum (very high) instead of 24% as informed by your representative.
      2. I took only the loan amount Rs. 30, 204/- while you have informed and considered the Loan amount of Rs. 32, 000/- for interest purpose.

      You are therefore requested to kindly correct the anomalies (interest rate of 24% instead of 50.01% which is exorbitantly high) and inform to me balance amount so that full and final payment can be made to ICICI.

      If these things are not corrected then you are forcing me to complain it to inform the RBI for such a high interest rate.

        I HAVE ICICI VISA CARD.
        FIRST FRAUD: Whenever i pay the due th' cheque it was credited after last date.
        SECOND FRAUD : crediting in cc account with part amount of cheque amount. ( is it a bank?)
        THIRD FRAUD: for the part amount due charging late payment fee, interest charges etc.,
        FOURTH FRAUD: again after 4 months telling that cheque was returned and threatened th' phone to pay the due once more.
        FIFTH FRAUD: without solving this fraud again part payment for next cheque and continues as usual.

        WHAT A GREAT FRAUD BANK ! DOING INTENTIONAL CHEATING, FRAUD, FORGERY etc., CREATING MENTAL TORTURE TO CUSTOMERS.

            I am disappointed with ICICI Bank for not decreasing their home loan interest rates for existing customers. Why should I have to pay 0.5% to refinance my loan, when they could increase it without my consent. Floating should apply for both increasing and decreasing. I called up their call center today. They told me they cannot provide any details on my loan and they will call back in the next 24 hours. What is the point of having a call center then? The representative says since yesterday they have a new process and therefore any information requests will be logged and they will call back within the next 24 hours. So, they could potentially call back when I am in a meeting, and I will have to wait for one more day again. So, how, as customer, I am not given a prior intimation on this process change with respect to information dissemination on my own home loan. This is totally unreasonable. I am frustrated. This has been my second home loan with ICICI bank, and would now stop all transactions with this bank as soon as possible.

              i have availed housing loan from ICICI bank my loan a/c no.LBABD[protected], i have informed by ICICI people when i visited to bank that @ your rate of interest rate is @13.75. by paying converion fee @ 0.5% you can change the interest rate to 9.75% on your Housing loan.
              same thing i got called from ICICI bank from ph. no .[protected] by M/s Nupur on 4/4/09, saying if iwill pay 0.5% converion fee and one insurnace policy i can get my interest rate chenged to 9.75% Accordingly i have visited to Bank meet mr. SAMIR Trivedi (employ code 115110)at 11th Floor SAKAR Building -Ahmedabad. i have been told to pay 1.75 % conversion fee + insurance policy to avail to change my interest rate .
              i feel these cheating with the consumer and now ICICI has lost its standard .i need of your guidence to take the matter with higher ups and in the public .so that consumer can aware how ICICI bank is making fool to indian public.

                Hi Everybody,
                This is DEEPAK from Chennai. I had taken a home loan for 14 Lakhs in 2005 @ 7% floating rate. Now i am repaying it at 13.5% rate of interest. Whenever RBI had increased the PLR by 0.5%, ICICI would in turn increase the same by 1%. The same happened thrice within a period of 7 months. Now when the RBI is reducing the PLR, ICICI is totally silent about the existing home loan customers.
                It so happened on April 06, 2009, where i saw that ICICI is offering a switchover for the existing ICICI home loan customers, to a new interest rate of 9.75%. This news was telecasted in CNN-IBM. The details of the same are given in the link below in moneycontrol site.

                My first thought seeing this is why is such a discrimination made by ICICI between new and existing customers. Also with regard to switching fee, other banks are doing the same for switching from "fixed " to floating" and vice-versa. Why this bank is charging to switch between floating rates itself is my only concern.
                Leaving my thoughts apart, i just stepped into the Adyar home loan branch in Chennai for enquiring the procedure. I was shocked by their reply. What they told me was the offer was given only for walk-in customers (not updated in ICICI website) and it got over on March 31, 2009. Currently the same offer is provided with a switchover fee @ 1.75% of loan amount. This clearly shows the level of consideration for existing customers. Also when i asked what if the rates fall further, i got a reply that again i need to pay a switching fee for that outstanding principal.
                I got totally perturbed by their answers. So i thought of mailing the same to "Senior Management" of ICICI (senior.[protected]@icicibank.com). The reply from their side had disappointed me to the core. They replied me saying

                "Dear Mr.Kasturi,
                We refer to our e-mail dated April 9, 2009 regarding your query related to Home Loan account LBCHE[protected]. We would like to inform you that we are not offering such a scheme.

                Rate of Interest applicable to your home loan are subject to change only upon change in Floating reference rate / Prime Lending Rate .
                It would be pertinent to mention here that the Bank has reduced the FRR from 14.25% to 13.75% resulting in a reduction of 0.5% in the rate of interest for floating rate loans. The same was effected in your loan account from January 09 EMI onwards.
                Any change in the interest rate is communicated to our customers through any of the following medium:
                a. Direct mailers to customer
                b. Notices at our branches
                c. Website We assure you that the bank has always had the customers interest in mind while effecting any change and would continue to do so in the future too.

                So my humble request from existing customers is to join our hands and fight for our rights. If anybody interested please reply me back to [protected]@yahoo.com. If required i am planning to file a suit in consumer court as well. It is ridiculous to see a bank chating customers and RBI having no control over the same.

                Dear Mr.Deepak,

                Infact I also visited the same branch today (16.04.09). I was really irritated with the reply provided by the Customer Service Executives. It was really pathetic to comment that their reply is nothing but a recorded vice rather than providing solution. In fact ICICI has a system of Senting SMS for DUE DATE's etc. But when it comes to Benefits to Customers the SMS system is not working.

                My humble request to ICICI is that when they are willing to offer beneficial schemes, please ensure that it reaches to all their customers.

                I'm also having the same problem from the ICICI bank. I got the same reply when I visited the branch for change in interest rate, they charge 1.75% for conversion.

                When I send a mail to the ICICI customer care I got the same reply which senior management have given to you.

                ICICI played dirty with me too.
                I had given Power of Atorney to my old Mom to get Home Loan since I work in Army (Border Area).
                They CONCENCED?!? her to take float rate when I had asked for FIXED rate. Secondly they entered 36% as penal interest in case there is a delay in payment of EMI.
                Yes, I too had the same experience. It was a poor response from the Bank. No respect for the existing customers. I do not know how the new customers are going to believe the bank anymore!

                I talk to SBI about switching over. As per their norms, they wanted to see Original documents but said that ICICI has never cooperated and has never given/shown the original documents for verification purpose. So, SBI said they are hesitating to take over the loan from ICICI as the cooperation is poor. I have not yet approached the ICICI regarding this as I am not sure whether my loan processing fee will go waste. I also heard that Bank has no right in denying the request to show the original documents. I will have to find that out. Any information on this???

                I am exactly in the same situation as you are . I started my loan at the rate of 7%. And after thier first rate cut in Jan'09, i am paying 12.50. When inquired at the bank for a part pre-pay they also mentioned about switch over facility after paying a switchover charge of 1.75.

                Technically they are saying that my Variance will be increased to accomodate it to 9.75 percent. And the variance will remain stable for the remainig tenure. So as my variance as of today is 1.25 from the PLR of 13.75. Hence am paying my existing EMI @ 12.50. Once i pay thier blackmailing fee of 1.75 my variance will increase to 3.75. Which will be stable for the rest of the tenure. It also means that any future reduction will have to be automatically passed on to my EMI's.

                I am trying to ascertain that in writing. so that i may not be cheated again by ICICI.

                I am passing this info if it may come hany to u.
                Lets start boycotting ICICI. Please stop dealing with ICICI and stop buying any product from the bank and its subsidiaries.

                Our Banking guidlines our one of the least transparent and completly favouring the institutions like builders and banks. The only way we can bring down the institutions by stopping to deal with them bring them down to bankruptacy. Today's bank and RBI regulations have not made these banks any differnt from the age old zamindars of the olden era. Where the generations keep on paying the interest while the principal never gets settled.

                Lets become a force, becoz our governments does not listen otherwise...

                I think we all are facing same problem, i.e. while increasing the rate ICICI bank increases the PLR as per RBI guidlines + some extra however when RBI reduces the landing Rate ICICI bank changes the "spread" or variance which reduced from the PLR to give effective rate of interest.
                This benefits only for the new customers but cheats the old one as the PLR is not changed or changed only by 0.25 %

                while the switch over charges are 1.75% + 12.5 % service tax comes to 1.93 %, u need to take an insurance cover of 5 years by paying almost Rs. 80000

                This is fraud and RBI intervation is needed to control gap between the PLR's and effective interest rates.
                Agreed with the sentiments of each and everyone. ICICI is taking everyone for a big ride.The response from the bank is really pathetic.
                Please send me through mail 'PROVISIONAL STATEMENT FOR CLAIMING DEDUCTIONS UNDER SECTIONS 24 (b) & 80C (2) (xviii) OF THE INCOME TAX ACT, 1961 for the year[protected] &[protected] &[protected] also for IT benificials. My Home loan A/C. No. LBABD[protected]. This is very urgent for me.

                  BANKS IFS CODE:SBIN0000265 . BRANCH CODE:[protected]. THIS AMOUNT PASSED BY OUR BANK AND IT HAS REFLECTED IN THE PASS BOOK. BUT THIS ICICIC BANK NOT SHOWN THIS AMOUNT IN THE THE NEXT MONTH STATEMENT AND CHARGED LATEFEE AND INTEREST FOR THAT AMOUNT.

                  WE HAVE CLEARED THAT AMOUNT .WE HAVE SENT TO THE LETTER TO THE BANK WITH CLEAR

                  Please its a request if you can have a look into the below mater which is being taken very lightly by the ICICI staff at the respective branch.

                  To whomsoever it may Concern,

                  This is in regards to a swipe done for a Client of mine DR JOSEPH BRITTO on 25/11/09 at 1425 pm which hasnt yet been credited to date for amount rs 176, 262/-.In the day of Internet Banking dont tell me that verification takes 2 weeks

                  have forwarded this e-mail to customer care but did not get any reverts.Yesterday 10/12/09 when i came to work lodged a complaint with Ms kanchan at 28308088 at 10am COMPLAINT NO[protected].I have also sent a mail to a family friend of mine MR RYAN WOODMAN (DIRECTOR) ICICI BANK who was sent to Louisville kentucky (USA ) last month by your bank to take over operations for them, asking him if he knows any one higher up so i can take up the matter with him because, i m sad to say that the way you work is even worse than a nationalised bank.After which i visited your branch office in Andheri) West Mumbai and met up with Mr Harishkumar Gupta (Trade Desk Officer (trade Finance) who told me that after a card is swiped the bank sends an officer within 2 days to pick up documents for verification.I would like to bring to your notice the following

                  1. No person from ICICI came for 5 days

                  2 we approached ICICI BANK (Goregaon West) who directed us to ICICI branch (MIDC, Andheri East)

                  3.They refused to accept any of the documents so we left it with them without getting an acknowledgment

                  4.the call center people gave us half baked information

                  5.Wrong information given to us as to when our account will be credited

                  6.phones not being picked up when we would call to find status of the amount

                  7.If there was a problem with documents which were submitted around 30th.officer should have informed us stating reason for delay


                  pls note that we have an airline payment coming up on the 15th December and reqire that the Funds are credited to our account latest by 14th December noon

                  I expect a reply to this mail ASAP.Am reforwarding all documents.kindly acknowledge.pls find copy of e-mail that i sent to Mr HarishKumar Gupta

                      this is to inform you i had made actual usage from icicibank credit card of approx. rs.5000 and notice sent to me by legal firm jus juris by the advocate kamaljit rana to clain of rs. 8200 for credit card but all that are unnecessay or fake amount and when i visit to district court chandigarh to settle that dispute on 16/03/09 at 3.15pm the concilliator of icicibank credit card dept. is mr. nitin saini was there to settle that billing dispute out of court as per advocate advise who is hired by icici bank credit card dept. as name mentioned above. after doing short coversation between MR. nitin saini on icici bank cc behalf and me (anil kumar) we both are agreed on sum of rs. 5000/- and has to pay in two emi and everything like settlement letter is signed between we both in the presence of advocate mr. kamaljit rana after that when i try to contact with mr. nitin saini to pay first emi of rs. 2500 in cash he refused to take it by saying that we are still waiting for approval after making lots of efforts no response is given by them later on they start calling at my home and start threatening to family members like we will file a suit against mr. anil kumar or start misbehaving with them by saying he is defaulter. now matter is that inspite of all above discussion or efforts i m still ready to pay actual amount of rs. 5000 but still icicibank cc agents or collection agents calling at home or my cell and giving threat to me of filing suit

                      now i want justice and try to resolve that dispute

                        I have made a transaction thru payseal for Rs.1, 100/- in June 2008 which failed and the amount was not credited to the payee but the same was debited to my card account and I also made the payment for the same to avoid any coplexity and dispute.
                        I sent a mail to customer care informing the incident. I was told to send the dispute letter which I did.
                        But now ICICI bank is replying that the incident is > 90 days old and can not be acted upon.
                        Please register my compalin and advise.

                        This is to bring into your kind notice that I made a transaction thru my credit card no. [protected] – Platinum VISA for Rs.1, 100/- which could not be completed due to internet outage problem but the sum has been charged to my card. The amount was intended to be paid towards Fee of the registration form of AMITY University which was finally paid by DD. The amount charged to my card was also paid by me in order to avoid any possible dispute over late payment issue and also in anticipation that I will get my amount back as the same was transacted thru secure payment gateway of ICICI Bank.

                        I sent the mail for the same but still no action seems to have taken for refund of the amount of Rs.1, 100/-. I am, therefore, raising the dispute for the same. The complete details are as under:

                          Every time there is a new number from where the call comes and it says `number not available' when I call back on those numbers.

                          I have been continuoulsy getting abusive calls from[protected].
                          This guy, when he first called at 6:55 PM, was rude & I disconnected the phone. He has called me now at 8:03 PM again and is being very abusive.

                          I agree to this complaint too...I also received calls from number[protected] which is not a valid number when i call back.
                          even i recieved a call from[protected]. Can I know whos number is it?? I called back on it and it said "nobody is available to take your call right now"
                          I am too getting regular calls from[protected] number and when I respond to the call then there are no answers at all, whatsoever. On returning back the call, I get a voice message "please check the number that you have dialled"

                          From this forum, I am given to understand that this number belongs to ICICI Bank call center - But, I wonder why ICICI Bank personnel should call me as I do not have any relationship with them, whatsoever!!!

                          Please take corrective step to stop the harassment

                            ICICI Bank paints the consumer's door
                            Mr. Sarwan Kumar Baldwa (Tel. No.[protected] applied for a loan of
                            Rs.7, 00, 000 from ICICI Bank. But, the bank disbursed a loan of Rs.
                            6, 72, 896 instead of Rs. 7, 00, 000. ICICI collected 12 EMI cheques
                            with calculations based on Rs. 7, 00, 000. ICICI Bank's hired goons
                            (so called collection agents) with one Mr. Kiran jadhav
                            visited the residence of Mr. Sarwan Kumar Baldwa (Tel. No.[protected]
                            at 10 PM on[protected] to collect some amount (which was never due),
                            and scribbled nonsense with paint on his front door.
                            He complained to ICRPC when non of the bank officers
                            responded to his complaint. ICRPC came down heavily
                            on the Chairman of ICICI and made them polish the
                            main door of his residence which was spoiled by Mr.
                            Kiran Jadhav a representative of ICICI.

                            ICICI Bank: Excess EMI refund

                            A notice dated 6-8-2004 was sent to the ICICI Bank
                            by ICRPC, seeking refund of excess EMI deducted
                            by the bank from the consumer Mr. Arun Pratap
                            chattopadhyay (Tel. No.:[protected].
                            The bank credited the amount of Rs. 21, 474=00
                            and sent confirmation letter to the consumer
                            on[protected].

                            ICICI Bank: Debit card fee refund

                            A notice dated[protected] was sent
                            to the ICICI Bank by ICRPC,
                            seeking refund of fee deducted
                            by the bank for debit card,
                            which is supposed to be free service.
                            The bank reversed the yearly fee
                            charges on[protected].

                            ICICI bank- lost cheque from ATM collection box

                            Mr. Vivek Srivastava of Navi Mumbai
                            (Tel. No.:[protected]) complained
                            that ICICI lost his cheque deposited
                            in the collection box, but levied
                            late payment charges to his credit
                            card account. ICRPC wrote to the higher
                            authorities and the bank reversed the
                            charges levied.

                            ICICI Bank: Did not credit the deposited cheque amount for 4 months

                            Dr. kamalavenkatesh of Aurangabad (Tel: [protected]) deposited a
                            cheque no. 907116 drawn on Canara Bank on 3-8-2005 to be credited
                            to his account. When it did not get credited till[protected]
                            (four months) despite repeated complaints to the bank, he approached
                            ICRPC. Immediate action by ICRPC set things right within a week,
                            and the amount was credited on[protected] by ICICI Bank.

                            ICICI Lombard General Insurance: Gave policy after denial

                            Dr. Narendra Pancholi of Gaziabad ([protected])
                            applied for insurance policy with ICICI Lombard
                            General Insurance Co. Ltd. The company deducted
                            Rs. 25, 402 from consumer's account and said that
                            they cannot give policy to him as he is a doctor !
                            When ICRPC asked if the company has lost its senses,
                            the consumer immediately got his policy on[protected].

                            ICICI Prulife: Issues insurance policy

                            Ms. Savitha Nayak had bought insurance policy
                            from ICICI Prulife. The company did not giVe the
                            policy despite taking all the payments. The company
                            did not respond to the consumers letters and e-mails.
                            ICRPC wrote to the company head and the consumer
                            got the policy on[protected].

                            ICICI Bank - Refunds full amount with interest

                            Mrs. Ruchira Tripathi of Mumbai ([protected])
                            applied for opening a joint savings account
                            on 7-2-2007 in ICICI Backbay Reclamation Branch,
                            Churchgate.and deposited Rs. 52, 000=00. The bank
                            did not activate the account for many months,
                            did not refund the money back, and did not even
                            respond to consumers letters. When ICRPC served
                            a notice upon the Chairman of ICICI Bank,
                            Ms Anuradha Sharma of ICICI Bank and two colleagues
                            personally visited the consumer on[protected] and
                            paid refund of Rs 5200 to the consumer along with
                            compensation of Rs 1050 as token compensation for
                            the incidental expenses and FDR interest @ 4.5%
                            for 69 days.

                            I am a good old customer of ICICI bank. Of course ICICI bank resources are abundant. But the quality of staff is very poor.

                            Staff in general imagine ICICI Bank is a recreation club to spend their time for a time pause.

                            Generally staffs approach is not pleasing and requires more ethics. No responsibility or attentive to customer's request.

                            Once I asked some question related to ICICI debit card to the Customer care. After a long time, bank staff phoned me to open demat account as I requested customer care. In the customer care they never go through customers' emails/ requests and problems. But any how they will reply anything not related to customers' request.

                            Once I fed up with Customer care's non response to me for a genuine issue. So, I titled "Sleeping Customer Care" and reminded about my emails. After a very long time, they woke up and replied something.

                            On March 2009, I deposited one dollar cheque for $105 for collection or realising. I think they missed that cheque. I addressed customer care. As usual they replied with their usual irresponsibile evasive non committed responses. Cheque is an important instrument for banks. But for ICICI bank staffs -it is a piece of paper. This is the fate of so many ICICI bank customers.

                            Of course, there may be very few staffs who are more sincere, dedicated, duty bound. But major chunk of staff are lazy, useless, indifferent. They always be in " cell phone chatting" talking rubbish, some times emitting poor English.

                            Indeed it is the need of the hour, ICICI bank Top Officials should think it over and concentrate on the poor quality of their staff. They should be given good training how to approach a customer with pleasing manners with quality of best service potentials. It this issue is not resolved, ICICI bank will be destoyed only by its poor quality staffs,

                            Sir, I had taken a home loan, account no LBKKN[protected]from icici home finance company in the year of2004, I had made payments till 2009 February, but due to recent recession, I had lost my job in maxnewyork life and due to non availability of funds, I had suffered a lot and could not be able to repay my emi in time.                             I had approached ICRPC for preparation of Case papers and paid Rs 5000/- towards the case but they have made mistakes while preparation of the papers and hence the cases are getting dismissed. They have not made HSBC as party to the present Complaint which is separate and juristic persons within the meaning of section 2(1)(m) of CPA 1986 and have impleded the CEO and Director in their personal capacity who are not the service providers. Also they are not ready to justify if this is not their mistake.

                              I had applied for flat in the DDA Housing Scheme vide application number 9334079. The form was deposited in the ICICI BANK SUSHANT LOK BRANCH, GURGAON, HARYANA on 15th Sep 2008. My name does not appear in the list of successful candidates. DDA Brochure says that the Nodal Branches of the banks are solely responsible for despatch and any losses of the refund cheques. I have not yet received the refund cheque yet and the phone number provided by DDA for ICICI Bank is not responding.

                                I went to ICICI BANK ATM situated at KARIAPPA STREET MEERUT to withdraw Rs 10000/- from account held with SBI Pine Shopping Meerut Cantt, . The transaction was declined with response code 72, stating that unable to Process vide TXN Number :-9063 dated 02 apr 2009 at 1535 hrs.

                                On receiving statement for the card / bank account number held with SBI I was really shocked to see that Rs 10000/- have been wrongly debited from my account. Through this portal I request all competent authorities to investigate the matter on the part f technical reliability of these ATM Machines and prevailing accounting systems.
                                I also request all competent authorities to revert/credit back Rs10000/- into my account no.[protected] as I have been put in very severe financial hardships. Please help me.

                                ICICI Bank — 10, 000 debited from account

                                Hi,

                                I tried to draw money from non icici bank (Dena Bank) atm centre using ICICI debit card.Transaction was cancelled as it shown in the slip.Then i went to HDFC to draw RS. 10,000 and check the balance as it shows 10, 000 debited from account 2 time .Then after that i called customer care and created a request my account no. is[protected] & request No. SR[protected].

                                The above total happend on June 26 in the evening.

                                please revert back 10,000 ruppes. this is very urgent for me money.

                                  I have a home loan took in Dec 2006 at the ROI of 8.25 on Step up method. This is the worst home loan method to suck the maximum blood from a consumer. First 2 years none of the amount from the EMI goes for Principal amount. Due to this currently in Apr 2009, my tenure has increased to 20 more years from 15 to 35, ROI increased from 8.25 to 12.5 and also theb outstanding amount has been increased to 80, 000 more.
                                  This shows till now what ever I have paid is just the interest part and the increase in tenure. Also still not able to understand why they are not able to decerese the interest rate compared to other banks.

                                  Also suggestion for other people is to not to go for a any multinational bank for a home loan.

                                  Please suggest is there any way for me to go for a cosumer court and get rid of this.
                                  ICICI bank is fooling and luring the customers. they offer very low interest rate than any other bank and low processing fee (i thought i am lucky enough when i am being trapped by their low rates).

                                  They increase the rates when RBI increases and do not decrease the rate when RBI decreases.


                                  ICICI is a fraud and cheater. People see that they provide good customer care and their offices are Air conditioned. Believe it's all someones hard earned money plucked by trapping them.



                                  Governament banks are best even if they charge little higher, they are stable it is worth taking a pain getting the home loan from Govt bank.


                                  i lost Rs 5, 00000 in 2 years as interest and when changed the loan i have to pay extra than what i took due to their policy of getting 2% on principle outstanding if loan is closed.

                                    I've already sent a written letter to ICICI Direct to close my Demat A/C on 30th March 2009.
                                    The lady from ICICI called me and told me that I've to pay Rs 861/- to close my account. This
                                    amount includes yearly fees and some penalty(because I want to shift to another Demat A/C).
                                    This is a second case in row that I'm informing about the fraud committed by ICICI Direct.
                                    They have no explanation about the charges and they force me not to close only to save their
                                    business. I don't know why should anybody will ever prefer this sort o[censored]nprofessional service
                                    when there are a lot of better service-providers all around. I'ld like to take up this case
                                    to Cusumer court and SEBI. This is height of fraud and I'm highly frustrated after hearing all these
                                    threatenings from ICICI people.

                                      Sir,
                                      I had my salary account in rajnagar branch of ICICI bank, Ghaziabad. As i am working in indian air force and presently working at hindan air force, on 8th march 2009 i had deposited cash of Rs 13000 to my account in the atm machine. But on 12th march 2009 i had found that only Rs 11000 had been credited to my account. Regarding this i had given written complaint by hand at raj nagar branch. They told that they will get the video clipping of the recording of the collection centre. But on viewing that clipping, either me or the bank staff even the branch manager were not able to identify that the clipping is of the same. That is they r not able to prove that i had deposited the wrong amount. But i am sure i had deposited the full amount as written on the envelope. The bank is not responding and not taking any action regarding this and it passed a month time.
                                      Kindly look in to this and help me to get my money (Rs2000) back to my account. Also i f it is mistake of the bank kindly take action accordingly.

                                      The Bank has charged my card for card protection policy for which I have note given my concurrence and when objected also they are not in a position to revert back.
                                      Moreover they change the bill payment cycle without taking me in to confidence and due to their own mistakes they keep me charing for late payment etc., .They are highly irregular in their dealings and I feel someone like RBI should inter vent in this bank's matter.

                                        I am holding credit card ( [protected]) had applied for EMI in month of December for rail booking & flight booking, but I had cancelled rail booking & charges for cancelation has been credited on 6/12/2008 in your bank, still the money is getting deducted from my EMI A/C
