BEWARE OF ICICI

ICICI Account holders be CAREFULL

ICICI Account holders be carefull when you invest your hard earn money with ICICI.
Most of the time ICICI ATM doesn't function/operate.When you withdraw cash in non icici atm transaction will be made and shown in slip & account but money doesnot get transferred.TO PAY BACK YOUR OWN MONEY ICICI TAKES MINIMUM 1 MONTH IN THEIR WORDS.but actually it takes months n months & months...
When u swipe your card most of the time its double swipes & they take three working days to credit YOUR MONEY back to account.

Its not with 1 or 2 account holders its with most of the ICICI Account holders.So please be carefull when you invest your money in ICICI BANK.

Recent incident
Myself SUNIL ABHICHANDANI tried to withdraw money from ICICI ATM it was not functional.so tried to withdraw money from NON ICICI BANK.Transaction slip came out money was not released from ATM this happend found the same amount missing from the account on 08/04/2009 & the amount was 20000/-.Complaint was registered in Indiran nagar branch, they asked me to wait for 8 working days.I visited bank on 10th day they were not in condition to identify the issue, solution is far away.there were about 6 representitives spoke in such a way that 20000 is not a big money or these incidents are casual. Branch Manager Mr.Nisar asked me to wait for 3 days when I said I am in need for money.after 3 days I vsited still the answer was same & he asked to visit after 3days.Finally ICICI Indiranagar Branch Manager says "I am DOING A FAVOR TO YOU BY SOLVING THE ISSUE".so I don't know ICICI is paying salary or he is doing charity to bank & customers!!!.Branch manager & his subordinates says "COME ALONE IF YOU WANT SOLUTION AS YOUR WIFE IS SHOUTING" I think after loosing 20000 anybody will shout & its news that ICICI doesn't allow spouse to come along to the brach!! till now I have not got money from bank or any confirmation on my money & no confirmed date to get MY MONEY BACK!!.with this kind of response I don't know I can get my money back or not.

Please forward it to your dear & near one's to keep their money safe & not to Deposit in ICICI Account

ICICI Bank — Deposit Cash through ATM went missing

I have deposited Rs.30, 000/- cash in my mother account (ICICI bank), which she required for an emergency. The money deposited through ICICI ATM, Vikaspuri New Delhi.

She received only Rs.3, 000/- in her account and the rest money which is Rs.27, 000/- went missing.

So far even after more then 54 conversation (personal visits, emails, customer support, complaint etc) with ICICI, I have not received my money back.

now preparing myself for the case to get my money back.

BE AWARE OF BANK CHEATING...DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY IN ATM...THEY MAY EAT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY...

    This is regarding my full and final sattlement of cradit card with the ICICI bank as per sattlement I have paid Total Rs. 47600/ in four instalment as per the bank instruction now again bank is asking money 21000/ which i can not pay, and bank has hold my account these days i have job problem they are harresing me
    Pls help me otherwise I will do some thing for my self benak will be resposeble for my death.

        I have invested over USD160, 000 in an ICICI Venture fund, NRI deposit scheme, Dynamic India Fund VI. Over the last 5-6 months, I have tried unsuccessfully to reach anyone to tell me the process to close down my account. Any mail discussing account closure gets a cryptic response.

        I tried the website of ICICI Ventures which pointed me to a mail ID [protected]@iciciventure.com. the mail ID does not function. I finally reached a human today, Naveen Pujari who informed me that my money cannot be taken out till 2012 at the earliest. This information was never shared with me by IFS who manages the fund for them.

        Curious why it has taken so much effort to get the right answers. I think ICICI bank's staff are selling the product without full and complete disclosure which means we should read the fine print and not beleive the banker. The fiduciary responsibility of ICICI is also questionable, since they either have uninformed staff or incompetent staff.

        I agree. Most of the time ICICI sells the products showing very rosy picture. Why DIF VI has invested in public equity when it is suppose to be private equity fund. What is % of fees and expanses as total funds collected while NAV goes below PAR. It seems that investors are being siphoned off their money under pretext of fees to pay for fat salary and bonuses of ICICI bankers
        ICICI DIF VI - I have invested in this fund and like DIF III and IV it has performed very badly. If anyone has invested in this fund please get in touch. Does anyone know if any investors have got together and asked questions why this fund has done do badly just like DIF III and IV.
        Request all the India Advantage Fund S1/2/3/4 investors to form an online forum to share grievances, views etc.

          Hi, I'm an employee of HCL Technologies Ltd. I blocked one of my ICICI cards XXXX 6008 non 8th March and ICICI executive told me that a new card will be dispatched to me.
          1. On 10 th March I received the message that a new card has been dispatched to me on 10th March 12:54 pm and I'll receive it within 7 working days. . But on the same evening I received 7 messages about a few transactions made on a card no. XXXX6061.
          On talking to ICICI customer care executive, I was informed that this card 6061 is the new card sent to me by ICICI. I blocked the card then only and raised a Service request to ICICI on their dispute department.
          2. After few days, aninvestigating officer came to my home from ICICI with the courier boy. As per the courier boy, he delivered the card on 10th March 12:00 pm (as per entry register of my building) only i.e. card got delivered before the card got dispatched at 12:54 pm.
          3. The PAN no. mentioned on the courier boys receiving report was different from mine. Even the receiving report was doubtful as all the names were printed except mine. My details were written manually by using pen in the receiving report. I gave the photo copies of my PAN as well as Passport to the Investigation officer.
          4. The signature on the receiving report does not match to the one on my PAN or PASSPORT, photo copy already submitted to Investigation officer.
          5. Two of the transactions were made at PUSA service station were of 20, 800.00 and 20, 800.00. As it is a rule that for any transaction above 10, 00.00, the ID proof has to be displayed, so that’s again a point that how could the transactions be made without my Id proof.
          6. The Investigation officer accepted that all these proofs clearly say that there is some fraud done and also mentioned that many other disputes have also been raised against this Courier service and vendor.
          7. Also, as two of the cash withdrawals were from ICICI Bank ATM only, the web-cameras can be used to track the person.

          ICICI department asked me for 45 days to complete their investigation.

          Since all these points clearly mention that I have not even received the card from which the transactions have been made, so I’m not liable to make these payments.

          But on 27th April, I received a mail from ICICI mentioning that the investigation is in their favour and I have to make the complete payment now.

          On talking to ICICI Investigation officer again, they said they can't disclose the investigation proofs and we have to make the payment.

          ICICI Bank Credit Card — never received card,bank asking for payments

          i have a credit card from icici bank which expired in nov 09
          bank saying that they sent me a new card on my adress.Accoring to bank i received the new card by showing my driving licence.But i don't have any driving licence for me and i never received the new credit card .Some transactions happened from the new card for about rupees24,000.Bank is asking for the payment of those transactions.what should i do?????

            Dear sir,

            I was having a credit card No.[protected] till 31.03.09 and which I have not renewed.I have used that only 2-3 times in total period for which I have paid the spot itself.Unfortunetly still every month around Rs.4000 is being debited by your bank against transection with this above credit card.This deduction is being done without my prior consent.This a serious matter of cheating hence involvement of a senior person is required urgently.As per ICICI I have around Rs.38000 balance as outstanding which is impossible since I have not used the card.
            Kindly look into the matter and stop deductions with immediate effect.

            I am an ICICI Platinum Cr.Card Holder Two month before my Cr.Card Points
            are change to I Mint Card

            But I don't receive my card still now, I speak to your customer care
            person several time( Complaints No :877276) they are told with in 7 days
            other time within 5days, now around 5 months are passed still I don't
            receive my card.

            I have applied for salary account and icici agent has collected docs on 5th sep and when i confirmed about docs says all thing have been done and it will take 4 working day.but on 11th when i got that my account didnt open till date have called customer care they again told it will take 4 working day after that i have call again after 4 days says it will take again 4 working days after that i have recived call to confirm my company name i have confirmed aftr 2 days one of account manager calld to confirm again company name says he will check the status then get back to me but now i am still waiting to acitvate my account but didnt get any confirmation.

                I am holding a home loan with this bank...this month the bank (as they say for some technical reason) did not put up the monthly EMI cheque in my bank for clearance...And now they are pressurising me to give them another fresh cheque...for which I asked them to return me the old one...but they are not doing so...and are harassing me to give them a new one but CANT TRUST them now...Its their mistake if they have not sent the cheque for clearance...Will it be safe if i give them a new cheque without taking back the old one...Will someone suggest something as to what is right according to the rules

                You can cancel the old cheque by giving stop payment for the old one and give them a new cheque. in this case the money will not be debited 2 times from your account. but at the same time the bank might ask for late payment fee. please inform them clearly that it is bank's mistake and not yours. raise a ticket for the same in the customer care and use the ticket number for your future reference.

                  My ICICI saving bank account No is[protected]. Application for closing of account is not accepted by bank branch and is showing negatve balance on account of deduction of charges for non maintence of average quarly balance.
                  I want to know on basis of which rule the saving bank account has been debitted and is now showing a negative balance. I HAVE NOT APPLIED FOR CREDIT LIMIT AND THIS ACCOUNT CANNOT TREATED AS A CREDIT CARD BY THE BANK.
                  I donot want to maintain this account and the account should be closed.

                    The ICICI bank had offered me free utility bill payment where I had put many billers. after few days of free service I was told that now onwards the service o[censored]tility bill payments is chargable and a charge for all my bills was charged which I had duely paid
                    for last few months the payments are not made and a insulting message "Please note that ICICI Bank Visa Bill Pay could not process the following new bill because the available balance of credit on your card account does not cover the bill amount.

                      This is in continuation to my previous complaint registered on 26/03/2009.ICICI has commincated to me regarding my auto Loand account.This loan was transffered from standard Chartered bank to ICICI in April 2006.This loan is ready for closure but now after 3 years ICICI wants me to pay an amout of Rupees 1284/-.Earlier ICICI told me that this amount was pending from Standard Chartered when the loan was transffered.I have checked with Standard Chartered and according to them there is no amount of rs 1284/- pending on me on any account.ICICI has told me now that this is rate transfer chare which has to be paid by me.As per the loan agreement, my loan is on fixed rate and I have to pay a fixed EMI for the duration of loan failing which I have to pay some penalty charges. Nothing was mentioned about any rate transfer charges.I have been paying all my EMI's on time without a single default.Now when the loan is ready for closure ICICI has come up with this additional amount.Earlier I was told that this is pending from Standard chartered and now ICICI is telling me that this is the rate transfer charges which I have to pay.
                      As per my understanding I am not liable to pay any rate transfer charges to ICICI at the time of loan closure.I have paid all my EMI's.
                      ICICI is a cheat bank.I am being harrased by the bank to pay this amount for loan closure.Please highlight this fraudulent practise of the bank.I would like to move to consumer court on this.Need advice and guidance.

                            Till 21 January, 2009 my balance was Rs. 86726.53.

                            On 31 January, 2009 I had tried to withdraw the money from ATM of ICICI branch of Okhla branch but could not get the money and ATM customer advice also.

                            On same day i.e. 31 Janunary, 2009 I had withdrawan a sum of Rs. 2000 from ATM of Alaknanda branch of SBI. After withdrawal of money my balance should be Rs. 84726.53. ATM Customer Advice is showing balance of Rs. 82706.53.

                            Kindly correct the same and Rs. 2020 may kindly be credited to my Saving Account.

                            After co-ordinating with SBI, I was advised to discuss with ICICI bank and ask them for sending of demand draft / banker cheque for Rs. 2, 020 to SBI, Nehru Place.

                            Dear Sir,

                            Sub: Wrong balance showing in my savings account

                            On 2 April, 2009, I had balance of Rs.10, 015 till 11.54 AM. Afternoon, I had tried to withdraw a sum of Rs. 4, 000 from ATM of ICICI/ Bank of India, Okhla branch, New Delhi. But I couldn’t get the money.

                            Around 10 PM I tried to know the balance from ATM of SBI (Bradarpur branch, New Delhi 110 044). Then ATM advice shown balance of Rs. 6, 015. There is mistake of Rs. 4, 000.

                            Due to some urgent need of money I had withdrawn a sum of Rs. 1, 000. After withdrawal of money by balance was Rs. 5, 015 whereas it should be 9, 015.

                            Please rectify the same and Rs. 4, 000 should be credited to my saving account immediately.

                              I Mohd Chand have applied for car laon, the loan had not approved, I have purchased the Car on down payment from MGF Huyndai< Karol Bagh, delhi.

                              The MGF given me the R C with ICICI Bank H P. The car Have purchased in JANUARY 2009, i ALSO ASKED FOR NOC FROM THE BANK SINCE LAST TWO MONTHS, THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM THE BANK SIDE, THE SERVICES ARE DUE, THE MGF ARE NOT GIVING ME THE SERVICE BOOK WITHOUT RC OR NOC. THE BANK OFFICIAL ARE NOT RESPONDING FOR MY CALLS, I HAVE CALED TO THE BANK SO MANY TIMES AS WELL AS PERSONALLY VISITED TO THE DELHI OFFICE.

                                I want to complain about the shoddy service provided by ICICI Direct in the name of online trading. First, it took them a week to give me a new online password, that too after several visits to their office in Chandigarh. Then, today the site let me log in and even change my password, but ever since it is failing to accept it and has locked my account. This despite the fact that just an hour earlier it had let me log in with the new password.

                                Now the system tells me to ask for resetting my password which will take another week. Is this some kind of a joke? At this rate I will never be able to start trading at all. Why do they make such tall claims about helping inevstors trade online when they can't even get the basics right. For God's sake, how can you lock an account in a matter of minutes. And even when I unlock my acount after giving the necessary details, it refuses to accept my password.

                                Later, I was told that I had exhausted my tries and had no option but to ask for resetting my password, which as I mentioned earlier wil ltake at least one more week.

                                Worst of all, I tried calling their so-called 24-hour helplines numerous times but with no succcess.

                                Will somebody at the BSE, NSE or SEBI take some steps to ensure that a leading bank like ICICI does not take its customers for a ride.

                                The ICICI Direct.com has given me nothing but high blood pressure.

                                The regulators should either make sure it works well or discontinue it.

                                It is a crying shame that a bank of this standing can't get its system right.

                                I have been waiting for my new passwords of my trading account, which I had applied before 3 months, I have sent severeal times Email regarding said matter, but there is not any response to my mails.I am fed up with the neglegency of company about my money.

                                ICICI Direct is certainly the worst bank around. I have been waiting for over a month to fer my account reactivated. First ICICI lost my documents because of some flood and locked my account. I have sent my papers and was rejects for no reason assigned. I was told to resubmit papers and supportings. It's been over a month and still no reply. The guys at ICICI do not know the status or just give misleading replies, or do not pick the phone at all. Meanwhile I applied via HDFC and have already been assigned a Demat account.Not sure how ICICI got so BIG, DUMB and INEFFICIENT.

                                  I have put a cheque (No. 129889 dated 03 Jan 09) of Rs. 4000/- of ABN Amro Bank, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi Br on 06 Jan 09 at the ICICI ATM Booth, HP Petrol Pump (Gymkhana Service station), Race Course, New Delhi -03. The same amount has not yet been credited in my account till date (14 Apr 09). On 04 Feb 09 I have lodged a complaint with ICICI Customer Care in Delhi and I was assured for feed back within 24 hrs on the issue. As a result, niether any feed back on the issue nor the amount is credited in my account number[protected]. Request to solve the issue and Rs. 4000/- may be credited in my account at the earliest.

                                    Complaint: I am having a Saving Bank Account no.[protected] against the
                                    same account no ICICI bank has blocked Rs. 15000.00 approx against my
                                    credit card on 9th May 2007.
                                    Which is already closed in 2005. I have discussed with Delhi as well as
                                    Mumbai centres but nobody is ready to help me out.
                                    In 2003 ICICI bank has offered me Credit card and i have enjoyed the same
                                    till 2005. I have paid whatever was the dues that time and ICICI Bank''s
                                    DSA/ DST members / Collection agency has assured me that nothing is
                                    pending against the same card.
                                    From 2005 ICICI bank has not responded to me on this but suddenly in 2007
                                    they blocked my money and said Rs. 14575.00 is pending against your credit
                                    card . There was no communication from Bank to me from 2005 to 2007on
                                    pending dues...even i am having the SB A/c with ICICI since 2001.

                                    I have discussed with Bank team that is Neeta and chirag who has commited
                                    that ICICI bank will reverse the amount and will release the blocked
                                    amount of INR 15000 .They have confirmed, they will be back with all the
                                    things with in 5 hrs but after two day s nobody is coming on the
                                    phone.After that i have started floating the mails to customer care but
                                    nothing has come to me on a concrete way.Since 2007 i am chasing them but
                                    there is no solution.

                                    Even on 24th March 2009 . Mr. Ajay has called me up (phone no.
                                    [protected] for setllement and asked for INR 11, 000 against F&amp;F and
                                    told me that if i''ll not confirmed the same then they will recover the
                                    entire 15000 amount.

                                    It is my humble request to you, pls help me out in this so that i''ll get
                                    back my blocked money .
