I wish to write regarding the ICICI Bank - Mysore Branch cheating public.
I was a customer for Centurion Bank Miracle Credit Card with outstanding amount of Rs.24, 000/-+ Interest and after subsequent merger with ICICI bank, the ICICI bank asked me to settle my dues, for which they sent the collection agency person Mr, Raghavendra and at my residence, after the agent arrived, a settlement amount of 10, 000 Rs was agreed upon with as a onetime payment after a verbal discussion over the phone with Mr. Srinivas Manager of ICICI Mysore branch, and was promised the closure statement by the manager in a verbal conversation over the phone in the presence of Mr Raghavendra, who also spoke to him, He said only after the cheque is cleared we can issue the closure statement as it has to come from their Head Office, Mumbai, I agreed and on the basis of basic human trust, I gave him a cheque dated 19th February 2009, which was cleared immediately, but the closure statement is yet to come, repeated calls bore no fruit, but only promises. After 2 weeks, on a call to the manager, he tells me that he never agreed on such an amount but to pay the remaining balance of at least Rs.14000 more if I wish to have the closure statement in my hand.
Could u please suggest me how to get the closure statement.
